E W: All four employees that worked today took their break ALL TOGETHER!! Had a line waiting 20 minutes plus then only one came out, took orders and cooked! After waiting when I finally got my food my order was messed up, and my fries were SUPER COLD WITH HOT CHEESE ON TOP! Wait it gets better, then Mr.T(with 59 chains) comes from the back and start to help but stop and goes back and never comes out again! They need to shut this place down I’ll be calling corporate Monday morning!

laila flowers: Tiffany did an AMAZING job making sure that everyone was helped and accommodated. She was very friendly and welcoming. The only downfall would have to be the cook. After being told numerous times how to make my sandwich he still made it poorly and improperly. A good manager can only do so much with a bad staff. All in all, Tiffany’s service alone would make me come back and purchase again.

Liane Forman: I want to first start off my saying that Tiffany was rude, she appeared high as a kite and did not help the new employee at all.. She was talking slow, unable to answer questions on how to get the $5 off after I downloaded the app as their sign said. Then when I confronted about being high, she said she hadnt slept in 5 days, maybe that is true but if you show up to work then you need to do your job. She then disappeared and left the new employee alone. I don't know his name, but he was very sweet and apologized over and over for not being able to explain what to do and for Tiffany disappearing.

R. Lol: The food was good BUT I agree with all other complains that all staffs are unorganized and slow, I wait 5 mins for the guy who need to warped my sandwich and prepared 1 small regular fries.

HZA: I don't even know where to begin here. Upon approaching the register to order an employee just stared at us and didn't say anything. After a few seconds of this bizarre behavior another employee came over and tried to take our order, "tried" being the key word here. I don't know if only certain employees are trained for the register or what, but it should not have been as difficult as it was or taken as long as it did just to articulate that we wanted three combo meals, nothing fancy. Once our order was in, the employee who was cooking completely forgot one of our sandwiches and didn't grill the vegetables until after we brought it to their attention that they didn't prepare what we ordered and forgot one of our sandwiches, the guy behind us got his food before us somehow and they almost forgot our sides. For thirty friggin dollars I expect at least some semblance of organization and order accuracy and there was none to be found here at Charley's at Lakeside. I'm an extremely patient person when it comes to how restaurants operate as I've worked in them plenty and I understand how it can be stressful or how mistakes can be made, but I have to say I was really taken aback at the obvious lack of training and initiative at this place. There were three people in the line and the excuse for not being able to read and prepare orders in succession off of a screen in front of someone's face was "I was doing too many things at once.", to which I have to assume that doing the one thing that you're supposed to is "too many things at once". Please just clean house or at least take the time to properly train your staff. Four people working and one simple order can't be properly executed. Come on dude.

Beverly Wainio: Their online ordering was not working. I did call in my order about 45 minutes before I could pick it up, as I was driving across town. The order request was kindly taken. When I arrived the order was up, but the girl made my sandwich up fresh and it only took a few minutes. I've only had their sandwiches once before, this occasion not quite as fresh tasting, but still good. Happy grandma and granddaughter ensued.🙂

Kyle Baker: Omg best subs around. Idk what this Ayman guy was talking about. These guys have the most high integrity when it comes to the customers wants. I asked the GM Nick - great guy - if my niece could have extra salami on her Italian and he without question slapped that salami down into the hot black rock surface with A SMILE. I genuinely thought he was a good asset to the sterling store as I frequent many establishments.You can review a store off of one visit then you're doing this all wrong.This crew is consistently cleaning cooking serving and moving. No issues with the customers besides the way everyone treats everyone as family.customers managers employees- neighboring store employees choose this store for breaks because of the Atmosphere From the 3 times I've been in Nick Kyle & Rachel ran the show.Best food around but I think nick needs a day off because he's always there. I think that's the only valid issue this store has seen since changing ownership.Instead of acting off of anger and an egotistical standpoint please we as reviewers are the life blood to this business. We can not use our reviews to ruin minimum wage workers days. Ayman S: Despite the very bad experience with one of the employees (Kyle), that never happened to me in my life at a restaurant or anywhere else, I'd still give this place a better review and rating.I ordered a steak sub, Kyle was the one that helped me, he seemed on edge, he wasn't wearing a head cover or gloves and he had a big boil on his cheek!He didn't sound very friendly or nice, then I was called after 15 minutes to the check out, he sat the sandwich on a counter behind the counter for about 10 minutes, the lady that came after me took notice and told me you have been here before me and my son got his sandwich and you didn't!She was also waiting patiently for her sandwich.We both noticed that one of the ladies working back there was stressed out.Then after about 25 minutes in total wait time I got my sandwich and left, then I found out that it was the wrong kind of bread.I went back and talked to Kyle that kept calling me buddy all along.He said that this is what I ordered and he started to talk even ruder and then started calling me names.It turns it was someone else's order, not mine.I asked for the manager and I said to her "how could you allow someone like him deal with customers"She said "I didn't sir, it's not even my branch"He even wanted to get into a physical altercation with me, but luckily this manager walked in and tried to keep him away from me, he was intimidating and threatening me.The manager still kept him at bay, then asked him to leave, then he waited for me outside.The good Samaritan guy manager made me a new sandwich and even gave me a full refund.I asked him to escort me out or I'd need to call the cops, he did escort me out until he made sure I'm safe in my car.Kyle still followed me and stood right in front of my car, looked angry starring at me.I thank God this manager came in and intervened, otherwise God only knows what could have happened, someone could have gotten hurt!I get it how hard life is these days, and how even harder it is to find good workers.I'd feel sorry for Kyle if he lost his job, however it wasn't me that aggravated him, he was already on edge.The food though was nice, they can use a little less salt though. I'd go back to that place, however with that kind of threat over there, I don't think it would be a good idea.

Immediately, Nick, the general manager, engaged me in conversation and suggested the Philly cheese steak with smoked honey mustard and mayo. I proceeded to order the rest of the sandwich in the standard configuration. I also got a large fry and hand-squeezed lemonade. The fries were delicious, fresh-cut potatoes with the skin and all and perfectly salty, and the lemonade puckered my lips. The Philly cheese steak was also excellent. Their in-house baked white bread is delicious. Recommend this over any other sandwich shop. Penn Station East Coast Subs blow Subway out of the water and are way better than Quiznos.

Trying to rush after getting off work at 730 for you to get there 15 minutes before closing for them to tell you that they are closing early. It takes 3 minutes to make a sub. Lulu: Came here on 3/16/23 about 6 pm. Ordered a Crispy Chicken Salad for 9.00. A whole lot of lettuce with a lil bit of chicken. Customer service was alright. May have been a lil misunderstanding issue. Asked for chicken well done and French dressing. Chicken was done but I put it in air fryer to get crispier. They gave me Ranch but opted for Italian dressing.
