Ryan Huggins: I'll be the first to say that I am not someone who buys clothes in-person. Like, ever. So going here in person was an experience I was not prepared for, and I'm not sure if this lack of knowledge just made a good experience bad or if the store is just confusing in general.There was an impressive selection of products, from various brands. Lots of different budget options, too. But the clothes are all over the place, and I found it difficult to find exactly what I was looking for. Sure, brands were labeled, but to see exactly what products are, you need to walk right up to them to properly identify them (again, I'm not suited to this environment, so if this is not an actual problem that people have, then ignore me, please). The clothes blended into each other, making it difficult to determine if what I'm seeing in the distance is a sweater that I'm looking for or if it's just a cardigan or a long-sleeved shirt.The selection was big, but at least for me, it was difficult to find what I was looking for, so it just gets an "okay" from me.

elayne manciero: I went to pick up an order at the Lakeside store. Marianne waited on me. She was very friendly. I didn't realize when you order an item from the bedding department you have to go to the men's store. When I got to the men's store Marianne had call to let them I was picking up my item. They had it ready for me. They told me Marianne called them so my order would be ready. Thank you to Marianne for the great service!

Shirley Henry: I am disappointed at the APR of 30.99. I have a charge card and I think Macys will lose several customers due to the high APR percentage being charged on credit card customers. I also don't appreciate being charged $2.00 if not using my card within a month or so.

Jenell Fachou: DO NOT buy their “worry no more” warranty. I was specifically told by the salesman that absolutely nothing would get denied, and when I filed a claim due to my kids staining the couch it was denied. No one came out to even look at it. This was just simply via an online claim. SCAM. This company will be out of business before we know it. Already filed with the BBB as well.

Dona Xo: I went to Macys on May 4th 2023 around 11:30-12pm I stopped by the sunglasses area to purchase some, the lady (long black hair, looks mid 40s, middle eastern I believe Chaldean) was very rude! I asked if they had anything around 50-60$ because online they had few sunglasses for that price. She said “No we only have designer here, and they start around 100$. Maybe you should try the GAS STATION OR WALMART OR MEIJERS “ I take that very offensive because I felt like I was looked down upon. Macys you need to reconsider your employees.

Local Tour Guide: This mall has many good stores. Macy's has a good selection for all members of the family. There are massage chairs available. Parking can be busy.

Smuggler’s Cargo Toys and Collectibles: It would really be nice to go in there and have the Amazon return being the same location. It was the month prior. In the past year the Amazon returns section has moved four times. And the kicker is that it’s never even near where the previous location was. I don’t know if someone there thinks it’s funny to mess with customers like that but parking on one side of the building because that’s where you think the Amazon returns are and then it’s all the way in the opposite corner isn’t funny one bit. Perhaps even maybe put some signs up clearly indicating in what direction it is when you come in to either entrance???

G “Youcan’thandleme” O: Customer service is very poor quality at Both Rosevile and lakeside jewelry counters they barely knowledge the customers that are standing around the counter, looking for help . I Went to buy a watch …my first bad experience was at the Roseville location where I was left, standing around the counter for quite some time to the point that I just left and drove all the way to the other location . Once I arrived there was my next bad experience, The older bond lady at lakeside mall at the jewelry counter is extremely RUDE!!! I asked to try on a watch and she says me well I would have to take the box apart for you to try it on. Isn’t there one out there that you can try am I simply said no they’re all in boxes I need the box removed since I have a small rest I need to try on the watch before I buy it.. then she said the scissors are over there very rudely so I immediately followed her thinking that’s what I was supposed to do it trying to watch I wanted to buy. Then she said I’ll have to repackage everything if you don’t buy them well clearly I’m not going to buy three watches. I want to buy one and I want to try it on before I buy it to make sure if it’s my small wrist then she slammed her hand on the counter with three tapes like I’m some child in school basically telling me to get over there quickly… extremely unprofessional on her end and terrible customer service she needs to be retrained if they want to keep customers because I will never go back to that store again and deal with such a rude angry worker. I really wanted to ask for her supervisor, but I think she’s already having a bad day since she’s having a bad attitude and she’s in a bad mood and she told me she should not take it out on me whatever that supposed to mean obviously she knew she was at fault.! if you are looking for quality customer service and a pleasant experience when shopping for jewelry or watches, I recommend you go to a real jewelry store and don’t waste your time with someone that will not treat you nice as a customer . I will be calling customer service and speaking to a live agent as well as I kept my receipt which has her associate ID on it.

G F: Lots to see here, overall nice store. But they had probably 9 employees, and only 1 register working(typically like Walmart) line lines were almost wrapped down the isle. They weren't really efficiently operating. We waited in line for about 25 min. And finally went and put our items down, and went to Kohl's, in and out in 8 min. Other than that the store was clean, lots of employees floating around, but not one to help any shoppers in any way at all. I will not visit this location again. Maybe find another location(or maybe it'll be better on a different day?)

Michael Crouse: Took my wife here to buy some earrings and other pieces she had seen online. The person behind the counter asked if we needed help. We said yes. She said she was with someone and would help in a minute. We looked around and found every piece my wife was looking for. The lady got done with the couple she was helping and started walking to the other section. We asked to see the first piece she wanted, and the employee said, "I'm going to help them since you're only looking for the price." I have no clue what brought her to that conclusion. Whit no other employees there to help, I then had to drive all the way to the Oakland mall location and was able to get most of what my wife was looking for. At this point, we will be using our local jeweler.

I also want to commend whoever opened the store on December 23rd. I am a known procrastinator and was out at 7am shopping, target being my first stop. Bentley Clark: Tried to return an item that was never worn and associate refused to give me my money back because the shirt was “too damaged” is what she said. I literally bought the shirt in the same condition I tried to return it in. Never worn it what so ever and the shirt has remained in the bag since I’ve purchased it. When I purchased the shirt I could see the visible stains the associate was referring to but it wasn’t that bad or i wouldn’t have bought it. She then says they should have written it was damaged on the receipt when I purchased it and she would only offer me a credit but no refund. So your willing to accept it for a store credit but not a refund? If it was so damaged why would you accept it at all? Never going to this location again.

But this particular day made me very upset. I went into the store with an objective of what I was looking for & luckily I got what I needed, but as I was being rang up a young woman she looked very annoyed & looked like she hated her job.Customers can tell when an employee is either annoyed or doesn’t want to be there based off body language.She applied the coupons I had & ordered a dress they did not have in store, which I gave my ID for address verification.I come to find out per email, she didn’t put my address in right & never asked me to verify my address on the pin pad (which to me is a no no). I tried canceling my order through customer service & they didn’t allow it.I have to wait to see if my item will even arrive to my house & if not, I have to make a claim. All because someone didn’t put my address in right when she had my ID in front of her.This isn’t the first time I’ve had to deal with an ordering mishap through express & I will be speaking to a manager about this.OTHERS BEWARE

He always seems so actively attentive. 3 star because the past two times I’ve had to visit the store I was helped by one of the younger cashiers, she had ordered the wrong item that I was exchanging and had put a return on a gift card that’s not retrievable, so I’m out of the money that she put on an nonexistent gift card and I had to drive an hour to exchange and reorder the right item that I wanted, and to top it off she tried charging me more for the exact same thing..

Terria McCoy: I have been stopping @express for the last ten years with my @express store credit card but have never encountered what happened on Sunday October 13th at the Lakeside Mall Michigan store. I’ve shopped at this store many times and purchased many items with cash and or credit card. This particular shopping visit, I decided to use my already established credit card at the register to purchase my clothing items, when I noticed that I did not have my ID in my wallet. But as I was standing in line I overheard the customer in front of me being serviced by an express employee open a NEW credit card Without ID. I thought to myself that was strange but I proceeded to walk to counter and get my items rang up with another employee, as the employee was ringing my items, I explained to her that I am using my Already established store credit card but did not have my ID. The employee immediately called the manager and she cans to the register telling me that I could not use my store card without ID. I asked her “Why is it that this woman to the left of me opening up an Store card with NO ID???? Why is it that I must have ID to use my store card and the white woman must not? Other employee laughed and giggled with woman as she was not carded.

Al Grayson: I'm from out of town and stopped in because I needed another pair of dress pants and a shirt for work. Sales girls didn't acknowledge that I was there and had to flagged them down to ask for a size and then they felt bothered that I was asking. Didn't buy there just because of that. Went to another express 5 miles down the road. This store needs to address how customer service works.
