Even though I had a repair manual and had watched videos for how to do the repair,b there were still a few times when I didn't know what I was doing. The in house mechanics were incredibly helpful to show me the little mechanic techniques my engineer brain didn't know about, and they did it in a way that didn't make me feel like I was out of place either. I'd recommend this place to anyone who has some basic knowledge on how to use tools and perform basic maintenance who wants to have a place they can try to expand their skillset without having to buy your own equipment.

Edmond Mui: Lowes doesn't like to give returns. Paid with PayPal and was told there was an issue with my PayPal account so they can't do the return, then called PayPal and was told there was no issue with my account or their system. Lowes clearly did not want to even try to resolve the issue until after I stood there waiting on the phone with PayPal for over 15 minutes. Then magically they said they can process it all of a sudden. Also noticed they returned less than what I paid on the original transaction. Not going back to deal with that BS. Very shady and deceiving practice. Waste of my time and horrible service. Better to shop at Home Depot.Update: Called customer service because after 3 weeks my funds still were not returned after the initial issue of the return in store. After speaking to the representative basically was told nothing could be done on their end since the transaction has been processed. Even though I gave back all the merchandise in store they did not want to return the funds and were completely rude about the situation and clearly did not want to help. Lowe's is just being a straight up crook at this point. Definitely never shopping here again.

Shahid Bashir: I am a frequent shopper at this location and have a Lowes Credit Card account. The staff has always been very helpful and courteous, except for today when I had to return an item which I had purchased last week. I had the misfortune to be served by Kelara, who turned out to be the most inefficient, rude and downright stupid character. She refused to take back the item saying it was not from Lowes but some other store. I tried to explain to her a number of times but she kept interrupting and rudely repeated the same reason. When I insisted that she carefully check the item number, of course it turned out to be the correct one. She quickly credited the amount and walked away without looking back and did not have the courtesy or decency to apologize. After walking out of the store, I realized that I have to talk to the Manager and bring this staff's behaviour to the management's notice. The Manager was very courteous and assured me that she would talk to the staff. I understand that there is a shortage of staff, but Lowes should ensure that they hire someone with at least a high school diploma. This person has no business dealing with customers.

Ashley Frank: I just called this company due to their high reviews to get an estimate for brake replacement, front and rear. The man that answered was Subbu, I believe the owner. He quotes me $500. As I'm expressing my shock, he interrupts me, says he is getting another call, and hangs up lol. There are so many issues here. $500 is outrageous to replace pads and rotors. But beyond that, to put me on hold as I'm talking to you about a potential repair, then to hang up is ridiculous. So glad we dodged a bullet here.

Gurnek Singh: My Engine oil was low and I had to add 2 quarts of oil. I took my car for inspection.. All they did was check the oil level. I was told that my oil level was low and that I was due for an oil change which I already knew. He also mentioned about a GM bulletin about older cars needing regular oil top off. Charged me $75 for this which in my opinion is rip off.

Brigette Scarber: Subbu was excellent to deal with! Replaced my alternator at a very reasonable cost and was very thorough with inspecting my car. Was great with communicating and very accommodating when I needed to tow my car to the shop after hours.

Patrick Foster: Bought a car from this guy. Paid $3600 for it. 4 miles away from his shop, the transmission blew. Messaged him about it and he said he would fix it, which is pretty cool. Kept the car for over a week "waiting" for parts. Finally get a message back saying it was ready to be picked up, but, he replaced a wheel bearing that didn't need to be replaced, nor did he contact me to see if I wanted him to replace it, and charged me for said repair. Transmission was free, but, said he wanted $180 for replacing the part that I didn't authorize him to replace, then, when I get there, he said it was going to cost $200 instead. Would not recommend acquiring his services. I will NEVER go back!

Before I decided to take care car there to get the engine fixed my car was working perfectly. After I received my car back from Shelby Auto repair my radio completely stopped working , my driver and passenger windows wasn’t working , my heat stopped working, my rear camera didn’t work anymore and my brand new battery completely died. After taking it back to Shelby Auto explaining my conditions after their work it was NO Help ! They told me I needed a brand new radio that cost almost 2,500 and none of the new problems my car has wasnt their fault. I felt used and abused my insurance money went down the drain to so greedy low life’s . So I went to David and Amelio and they are a blessing !! Everything the Shelby Auto wouldn’t do David did it with no problem! My car needed a new alternator and as far as the windows and radio they had messed up some wiring ! David and Amelio got my car back working perfectly! They are the best and the also put me on a payment plan because I didn’t have much after Shelby Auto took 2 months to fix my car due to the flood I had to spend ridiculous amount of money in rentals! This shop is nothing but a junk yard, only one mechanic who is rude, david who lies about everything, specially the job done.I gave him my debit card to pay for the due balance and he took it behind the counter, and then asked if i have cash. So i said yes, i will give you cash as it will save me 3% credit card charge.Next morning i saw $ 418 charge on my credit card. I went to his shop but he was not there, as i had to go back home to chicago, i called him and he will say he will call me back. None the less i had to dispute my charges and got it back via my bank. Stay away from these crooks. They will lure your business and then screw you left and right.

London Ashes: I like doing reviews based on many factors and are outlined below for david and amelio- customer service: OK, i must say David has a way to lure in customers in the begging to get the business. However, once you drop ofr your car there, i can almost gaurantee you will not get your car back in time. Probably reason being, this place has only 1 working mechanic and get too much work so he has alot on his plate. I do not think David is a mechanic and if he is, a very useless one.Quality of work: If there is anything worse than poot, i would say its here. Not only they use cheapest quality parts but upmark them to you. I had my full front suspension and brake/ rotor job done here. On fourth try we got the break job correct. Just 4 months in the job, i had to change rotors and brakes again since the pads used were incorrect.Price: If you ever want to use this place, make sure tell him to get a confirmation from you before doing the work. They charged me thousands of dollars( literrally) and still issues with car. Also make sure to check the work done, specifically brake jobs before making any payment or you wont see your money back. I can't say he is honest or dishonest but i had a very very bad experience.All in all i wouldnt recommend this place. He not only stole money but did poor quality work and took him 4 tries and 3 weeks. Still i had to go back into another shop to get it right. Not to mentioned some of the other lights on the dash that came on after he was done and when asked he lied that you brought it like this.A very compulsive lier. Be aware of his Hi Honey, oh yeah we will get it done.CHEAP is not always the best option
