TANYA ULAN: Great staff and services all around!Rooms: Comfortable and clean!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
Xingmei Diao: Clean and spacious room. Nice breakfast. Great experience during stay.
Rich Schlue: We have nothing but fantastic things to say about our stay!Great location!!!Modern, Clean, Beautiful. The ENTIRE Staff were all absolutely amazing!Rooms: Spacious, clean and quietNearby activities: Multiple restaurants and amenities close.Food & drinks: Breakfast buffet AND Room service were AWESOME!!!
George Siegle: Rooms are in very good condition from a maintenance perspective, clean, and no odors. Common spaces were also well maintained and clean. The staff did a great job this weekend despite 2 weddings and about 12 hockey teams staying. A bit loud in the atrium but didn't bother us in the rooms. Breakfast was very good, and love the omlette station.
Lana Lewis: Booked a room for a hockey tournament. Got to the Embassy Suites and they told us we canceled our room. We absolutely did not. They stated they didn’t have any rooms and were no help getting us accommodation elsewhere.
Jeff Spires: Shamim and Golam are the best. I love coming to Troy and staying at Embassy. I know the team values my loyalty and I value their service. Home away from home.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Gail Rouscher: Some areas are very run down. Most of the hotel is great. Clean, good selection for breakfast.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Anthony Franco: Fantastic hotel with suite style rooms featuring a living room, small kitchen area, bathroom, and bedroom (we had a king bed). The people who work here are very helpful and there are plenty of restaurants around the area, even within walking distance. We got to interact with the front desk personnel, maintenance personnel, the bartenders, and the chef during breakfast and didn't have one bad experience. The made to order omlette station was the best part about dining! Also they have spacious workout room that can hold a good amount of people at once. The pool was closed for maintenance while we were here but it looked decent as well. Overall I would recommend this place to stay to others!
Brenda Johnson: The Breakfast Is wonderful, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean.
Rick Duyck: Awsome visit,great breakfast. The BEST bartender around!!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Michael Caldwell: What a great place! Nothing I needed for 3 days went unnoticed. Breakfast was great ( and free), free drinks at night was unexpected and welcome.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value, High-tech …More
Megan Layfield: Excellent place to stay! Right off the highway, well lit parking lot for late arrivals. Every single staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly! From the front desk, to house keeping and breakfast crew. The made to order omlet station was delicious and the chef really took his time to attend to every persons request. One of the cleanest hotels I have ever been to.Room was perfect, everything looked practically new in the room. Couch and chairs were very comfortable to sit in and actually relax.
Josh Bigelow: We hosted a 3 day training event here and the whole experience was great. Our event coordinator Jordan was efficient, helpful, and great to work with. The rooms were nice, the event space was nice, and the food for our event was absolutely amazing. Overall 5 stars.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Primary Care Walk In Clinic: We booked Executive room at $270 per night for 4 nights and provided regular room worth $130 per night for 4 nights.Refused to even look in to the issue.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
layah banks: Everything was really good until I arrived at the bar that evening to order a drink and something to eat. The bartender had a bad attitude and also ignored me for atleast 15 minutes talking to other guest that already had food and drinks. When I asked about the complimentary drinks he replied with an attitude and told me it ended at 9pm then walked away not even hearing that I wanted to still place an order for food and drinks. Finally he came back after waiting 10 more minutes, I placed my order and asked if it can be sent to my room. Long story short my wings came a long time later in a to go box and cold from sitting down at the bar. I decided not to mention it I was tired and had been at my daughter's volleyball tournament all day 45 minutes away from the hotel. I checked my receipt the next day and low and behold the bartender tipped himself $7.00 I called and got the 7.00 back it wasn't the money it was the principle. Alot of noise from kids also above me and kids running around and playing on the elevators. However the front desk check-In and check-out crew was amazing 👏Food & drinks: Bartender has a bad attitude
Mechele Smith: Pool not open wasn't aware until I got there.Sent to hotel across parking lot to swim but they had their own guest which made it overcrowded their capacity was 42 max and it was way more . Too much noise in halls at nightRooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Brooke Scott: The staff was absolutely the best part about this stay. Rooms were well kept too.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Ed Gonzalez: The bathroom had a leak and when I use the bathroom it would leak on me, the leak was bad. I was waiting for the corner of the ceiling to cave in ..there was smell of moldRoom 204Rooms: Leaking roof from the room above, the maintenance or general manager didn't seem to care. Great staff poor management.I went there with large groupI was in room 204I was there for training withUWM
Rich Schlue: Loved it! If ever in the area again, this is where we will definitely stay.Heck, we may actually go back to Detroit JUST to stay here again.Rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean.Staff were all amazing - from the front desk to room service to the staff servicing the breakfast buffet, everyone was WONDERFUL!!!
linda murphy: Elevator broke- not fixed and therefore only one working for whole hotel. Breakfast was cold eggs and no vegan options.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Rebecca Wolfe: Many issues with some of our rooms, smelling like some one hot boxed in one, mold in another, power not working, most interior doors not working right.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Julia Ellison: I always love to visit this hotel. Excellent customer service, great accommodations, and kid friendly. My favorites are happy hour and the morning breakfast. Thanks for the experience. I'll be back.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Dixie Taylor: Only one elevator works. The second one apparently hasn't been fixed for over a year. The lobby was pretty warm but you could drop your room down to 65 if you wanted. I was with a few other people and one couple had to switch rooms twice staying in a total of 3 rooms within 2 days. First room smelt of mold, second room had no power. One of the other guests in our groups sink was clogged and called twice to get it fixed and no one came, they had to use someone else's sink during their stay and in a handful of rooms one of the door handles to the bathroom was broken. I didn't have too many issues in the rooms I stayed in besides the bathroom door handle not working properly. However, I don't think I would risk having to deal with some of the issues other people encountered. Not worth the price
Cortney Tucker: Everyone is super friendly and helpful, our room was clean and easy to find! Breakfast was hot and staff was very helpful; I saw one staff member helping an elderly couple with their plates and food. Definitely will be staying at Embassy Suites again 🤩
Jason Graves: Rooms: Need updated. The room I had on the first floor had seen better days.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
prajwal joshi: Extremely disappointing stay at the embassy suites. Reception personnel was rude, rooms are dirty. TV did not work& last but not the least , the entire hotel smells like breakfast ( bacon , grilling smell ) . Even if you stayed at the 4th floor suites . The hotel definitely needs a renovation
Ben Sutter: Holder hotel. Looks like some do extended stay here and they are not taking care of the furniture. The couch looked like a kid grabbed a pen and traced drinking cups on it. Not as clean and groomed as other Hilton properties I have stayed at.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jerry Tate: This place is a good spot to stay it has good food and a pool inside with a hot tub.
Jessica Hensley: This hotel is dirty, dingy and run down. The couch has multiple stains. My sliding door wouldn’t lock and was broken in a way that I could slide my hand outside. The bartender was nice to the two men sitting next to us but rude otherwise, distracted, had to ask multiple times for a menu. Ordered a veggie burger, 30 minutes later we were told they didn’t have any. Reorder took another 30 minutes. This place would be in trouble if UWM didn’t send all of their people to stay. I would give it a solid 2 stars. I was embarrassed that I brought 3 colleagues and they also thought it was well under par.
Troy Warner: Very dated hotel
Asha Berend: Absolutely the worse hotel experience ever. They delete the true reviews but I will get the word out in multiple ways. The place was filthy, loud. There was fighting, profanity and drug use. The staff is dishonest and would not control the behavior of a guest that hit me and another child with a football in the pool. They don't have management on duty. Do not stay here. It's very low quality.
Mohsin A: Pretty dilapidated. Can really use cleaning and upgrades.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
NarutoShocker: Honestly this was some of the most sloppy hotel experiences I've ever had.Room: clean enough. Nothing noticeable about the Linens but some rust in the shower area.Breakfast was amazing and so were the options. The biggest issues are below.1. No transparency. I did everything online, which meant having to learn everything else the hard way because there was nothing listed anywhere. No idea when breakfast starts or finishes but signs everywhere telling you where breakfast is.As a matter of fact: almost none of the complimentary offerings are listed anywhere. Not the happy hour times, not the breakfast, nothing. There was only one working elevator, and there was zero access to the upper floors via the stairs. You could only go down, not up.Lastly, the place is just loud as hell. Idk why but there were Hella kids all over the place when I stayed. The pool was always full. The halls full of shouting kids. This isn't the hotel's fault, but this apparently seems like a go-to place for families that don't teach their children the art of shutting up.Lastly, the phone entry methods were terrible. Multiple times standing outside trying to find the right spot for the phone to be recognized. Same thing happened at my room door. One of the outdoor entries didn't pick up the phone at ALL, so I had to walk to the other side of the building since parking was only available in the back. Strongly recommend getting a physical key. The Hilton app was an D+ experience.
The B Face Betty: The stay was ok..Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More

S B: Decent stay but for the price you pay in room 113 they should take the extra effort and clean a little more. Ac unit completely dusty and needs deep cleaning, trash and debris behind couch and both night stands. Tile in bathroom coming up and the light doesn’t work above the desk.
Simeon Green: My new get away spot...Nearby activities: Across from Lakeside Mall...Walkability: Decent walking...Food & drinks: Free Continental Breakfast...
justin arockia: Booked a Queen Studio room for a long stay but very disappointed with the experience. Mattress was so uncomfortable and it sorts of sinks in into the middle and definitely did not feel like a queen sized too.Breakfast and staff were really good and courteous.Full size kitchen but they don’t supply cleaning essentials and even kitchen knife.Internet is DEAD SLOW. I got speeds of less than 1MBPS. Seriously what are you supposed to do with such speeds…
King Green: Rooms are in need of a little maintenance. Guests are constantly extremely loud outside of your windows at 12am and 6am.Staff was great though!Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Juan Enrique Galvez: Horrible experience. I checked in the 9th of december 2022, and the 10th i went for breakfast and i requested my right to depart at 4pm, i am entitled by MARRIOTT terms and conditions that TITANIUM members have COMPULSORY 4pm check out ( except convention center and resorts but towneplace is not one of these) and she said because i didnt informed them the previous day they cant guve me any late check out because they have a group of people and they need to clean the room, i requested for the manager ( first shift) and she said she was the manager ( i dont know her name, nobody has a tag on their shirt, pretty unprofessional) and now they cant manage it, i discussed for 5 minutes saying that it s compulsory and im so sorry but i need to leave the room at 4pm. She said that she has the policies printed at the back and she refuses to give me late check out. I said i will call Marriott, she replied, i dont care, I called Marriott Loyalty team from titanium members, and they called her... 5 minutes later they said they can give me 3pm check out. Do u see how u care now? Do i have to threaten u to call Marriott and u accept late check out when they force u only? Rude, unprofessional and horrible service. If she is really an assistant manager or shift manager you guys seriously think twice how you manage your hotel because it s not acceptable to be playing games and threaten to call loyalty team to do what she needed to do from the beginning. Management of this hotel please teach URGENTLY your employees your rules because even if you are a franchise, you MUST COMPULSORILY follow Marriott policies.AND DONT REPLY THIS COMMENT SAYING YOU ARE SORRY AND GIVE YOU ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY. RESPOND THIS WITH ACTIONS, NO WORDS.
Amanda Rose: Had a suite with a FULLY FUNCTIONAL KITCHEN!!! Clean & Location close to shopping and a ton of restaurants
Nora Smith: Very nice place to meet up with family for a couple of nights. Our bed was comfortable, the desk staff kind and helpful, and the breakfast, while limited, was more than adequate. Well done!
Mystikal One: This place has amazing staff the rooms are clean. The beBreakfast could be better but overall love this hotel. Lots of businesses close by.Rooms: Clean nice beds and love the kitchenette. Bathroom is kinda small tho. Still love this hotel.Food & drinks: Need to do better when it comes to the breakfast. Kinda cheap.
Jeffrey Terrian: What a great room!!! Quiet but we shall see as the night goes on. Room is clean, bed is comfy as well as the pillows. And the one sofa has a stain of some sort. Bit cool even after turning the heat up, but still nice. If you have a service dog, heads up. People don't pick up after their pets and there's mega amounts of goose poop especially back behind the hotel. Great place to stay. We will be back for sure.Rooms: Very open floor plan for the room I am inSafety: Seems like a safe and secure areaWalkability: Large grass field to north of property. Mall is across the way, but not sure if its open or what's in it
Michelle Konka: Suite was from the 70s. Stove was dirty. Handles on cabinets dirty. Wasn't vacuumed. The staff were very nice & gave us another room which wasn't any better. We left without staying.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Casey Stubak: Rooms: my daughter and I loved the two bedroom and fireplace in kitchen but unfortunately they don't do points for the Marriott would definitely love to have the weekend with my daughter but other than that satisfactory they have an allow animals in the rooms are beautiful and separate which is nice very satisfiedRooms: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Eva H: Janae and the staff were very nice and helpful. Janae went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. The only negative is the rooms could use some renovations.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Mahmoud Suhail: Was good but pricier than other places, but I liked the suites which has two separate rooms and it has stove and an agreeable fridge.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Cami Wright: We stay with Marriott often due to work and relocations. This property has been the worst hotel we've ever stayed at!! Upon arrival we noticed the pool was closed even though it states that it is open on the website. Maintenance told us that it hasn't worked all season due to not being winterized properly last year. As we approached our room the halls and room itself smelled of an odor that we were unable to identify. It was a combination of a dirty gym sock and sweaty bodies. The room was dingy and dirty everywhere we looked. The carpets and furniture are stained. The bedding, which I'm convinced was not changed between guests, was filthy!! Blue paint stains and dirty edges are on the comforters. The toilet wouldn't flush and the tank wouldn't fill with water. We were having to use a pot to fill the tank to flush the toilet. Trying to get hot water to our room was a joke! We had to leave the water on for 15 minutes to get luke warm water for showering. We informed the front desk of all the issues over and over. The response from the front desk was that "due to covid we haven't been able to maintain our property the way we would like." There isn't a manager or maintenence on the grounds after 5pm. There is only one employee who's attitude about things was, oh well...so sorry this happened but there isn't anything I can do for you tonight. This is unacceptable on every level!!! Don't operate a hotel if you can't maintain it.

Stephanie Gridley: After messing up our clearly communicated request for two adjoining rooms to accommodate my large family (to celebrate my daughter's birthday nonetheless), and having their front desk agent assure my husband we would not be charged for the rooms they gave us, we were indeed charged for rooms we never set foot in. Going on three weeks and they still have not refunded our money. They ruined my daughters birthday and charged us $400 to do so. Crappiest customer service EVER.In response to the owner: YOUR front desk employee told me we would not be charged, and that third party said that your hotel would not authorize the refund. If you are willing to authorize the refund, please do so. Also, I thought I was booking directly from your website and had no idea I was dealing with an outside service. They do not seem reputable.

Power never came on , I had my 1 week old baby wrapped in 5 blankets and had to feed and change diapers in the dark. Was told at check out I would get refund. They charged me full price and the GM is ignoring all my calls and the front desk staff (Tracy)will yell over the phone when I call.

RK Omo: We were power outage refugees our little chihuahua and our elderly mother both have serious health issues so sitting in a house with no power was not an option. Staybridge was great the room was spacious and clean the kitchenette with a big microwave and big fridge were great. All of the staff were wonderful from the front desk to the breakfast bar personnel and the room maid. And our little chihuahua was comfortable in the room and on the grounds. Thank you to all for making a challenging situation a lot less stressful.
SLH: Normally I don’t post negative reviews of businesses, but this one needs to be addressed! I wanted to book my mom in a hotel, she’s 80 and lost power to the ice storm. Her basement is flooded and she was in a house of 55 degrees. I called the Staybridge Suites in Sterling Heights. This is what I found most very disturbing. The hotel itself had rooms it was not booked and I wanted to get her out of the cold right away. They were going to charge me a rate for the room and $75 for early check-in. Check in wasn’t till 3 o’clock and the hotel was not full. What kind of a business is this that lets people freeze or charge them extra money because they are desperate. This needs to go viral in this hotel, I’ll never get my business again !Your response was clearly inhumane as I read your reply. You basically took advantage of a horrendous situation to make money! Many other hotels took people in early and did not charge any fees at all! Your hotel was not even full when I called, therefore, your deductive reasoning clearly contradicts what you wrote! The room was available and needed no maid service.,Maybe you should think about this next time your loved one needs help and some cruel person wants to make money off of your situation. I can name at least ten hotels who accepted cold people into their hotel! It’s called price gauging and I hope the attorney general will take action. In the meantime, my circle of friends and family is rather large and will not solicit your hotel ever!

Embassy Suites by Hilton Detroit Livonia Novi: what do users think?
Rob Johnston: Took my wife away for the weekend, staying at the Embassy suites in Livonia Michigan. We were there for my wife to attend a Scrapbooking sale at a local convention centre. Our check in was very smooth. We arrived early and were able to check in with no problems very helpful person on the front desk. Upon entering the room, everything seemed to be clean and well kept. When the time came to use the washroom in the room, it was noticed that the toilet seat was very loose and not bolted on tightly. Our first morning we noticed the drain on the bathtub was not draining water very quickly we assumed it must be clogged with hair. These were small maintenance issues, but should be noticed when cleaning staff cleans the room. The hotel started filling up very quickly on the Friday night and more so on Saturday morning for us to learn that there was a soccer tournament in town as well as a baseball tournament and hockey tournament with the majority of the team members staying at the embassy. This resulted in a large amount of youth, running up and down hallways, making lots of noise in common areas over capacitating the pool and hot tub as well noticing youth under 18 in fitness area. Pizza boxes and garbage from the team is having a pizza party Saturday evening for dinner not very well kept and presentable for other guests staying at the hotel. Youth being left unattended and playing with the pop fountain machine in the main eating area.Staff should be out and present to make sure that other gas are not being inconvenienced by large sporting teams, using the hotel as well.Rooms: Room 426 toilet seat very loose.Shower head not very powerful.Tub drain slow to drain (assumed clogged with hair).

Rachel Tate: First off Rodney, who ever he is that is disappointed he didn't graduate from Quantico and is now high off his own ego to the point where he can not effectively and efficiently manage the most common of customer service complaints should not have a job. The hotel was full of birthday celebrations and children this weekend but after one noise compliant demanded that they come to lobby within 5 mins. He made no attempts to contact the adult on the reservation but had no issues demanding minors out of their room at 2 a.m.They were children running the halls, knocking on doors, etc but he isolated one room after one incident. He was hostile, condescending, and EXTREMELY rude. After I told him that would be in the room with them when he explained that was the only solution he continued to press the matter. Once I said I no longer felt comfortable and would be leaving he gave us 15 mins to leave or threaten to call the cops, on 1 woman and 6 teenage girls! He filed a report and refused to provide a copy I requested, and after snowballing the entire situation after antagonizing me without once attempting to deescalate or defuse the situation he hid in the back office when my partner arrived. He had NO issue being aggressive with me by myself but when another man entered the conversation he hid himself away like a coward. No alternatives were offered, hell there wasn't even a manager on duty. If he needed this to satisfy his power trip then I hope he got what he was looking for. I will be taking this as far up the corporate chain it can. I have photos and videos of the rooms so they can't claim anything was damaged or left in unsuitable conditionsI will never EVER spend money with this location again.
Doreen Oumedian: I cannot read the response from Embassy Suites for my review. Interesting.....Our family booked 4 rooms for the night. Two of the rooms were to be next door to each other. I booked on the Hilton app and selected my room number DAYS before. My daughter checked in before me and was given the room right next to mine. When I checked in and went to the room, there was someone in the room. I went bank to the front desk and they couldn’t understand why someone would be in the room that I BOOKED. They had to research and I told them I’d be in my daughters room. They called 10 minutes later and told me the SALES department (they were hosting a weekend craft show) GAVE the room I booked to one of the “crafters” because their room had an issue. They gave me another room on the 1st floor, not NEXT to my daughters room which I reserved. To get to NEW room ON THE SAME FLOOR, I had to take the elevator to the 2nd floor, walk around to the other elevator and take that one down to the 1st floor. I have multiple sclerosis and have issues walking that’s why I PICKED the ORIGINAL room. I was SO EXTREMELY disappointed with them cause they made sure the CRAFTERS were taken care of, but the hell with a HANDICAPPED person who reserved that room. They should of had them move since the room was supposed to be mine. BTW, check in time was 4pm, and I was there at 4;05pm. The front desk said they moved the other people in there earlier. SO BEYOND upset with this hotel!
anna morsey: So there is only one competent staff member who helped me through the booking disaster. I was double booked the dates were changed the hotel lost my reservation AFTER I paid in full had to wait a day to speak to a front desk agent who helped. Tyler you deserve a raise my guy. All other staff... It's time to clean house. My balcony door did not open it was completely off track the second I checked in I had to call maintenance. The pool just absolutely disgusting.... Green slimy fruit flies mold on the ceiling and walls. My room was not up to par especially for a Hilton ran hotel. Cigarette burn holes in furniture lose screws my boyfriend cut his hand I'm the shower reaching for the soap on a screw stains on the walls peeling wallpaper. This place is too big for them to manage. Do not waste your money here. While I was working on getting my reservation fixed a woman who had just checked in came down and said there was already a guest in her room they gave her keys for. Shame on management.
David Bailey: This is a very old and run down Embassy Suites! Hilton should pull their branding from this property. The rooms have very dated furniture and they smell like mildew. The front desk staff is not friendly and I would even go as far as saying they are rude. I will never stay at this property again! I am a Hilton Honors Diamond Member and I stay in Hilton properties nationwide and this property is an embarrassment. This should be a Motel 6.
Springpoet Jones: My son had a ball for his birthday.. he loved the poolRooms: Very clean and neatRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Libby M: Don’t stay here. Middle of nowhere, old, dirty, outdated rooms and decor. People running around in robes, slippers, bare feet, bathing suits all hours of the day and night.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 1/5 …More
JADESDED: I was skeptical and knew I was taking a gamble after reading countless reviews & booking for a night anyways, however it wasn't THAT bad.The BAD: Was that it (like any hotel with a pool on a weekend) had a large number of families with young children staying at the suites. As others have noted the atrium-style building means from my fifth-floor room I could hear muffled children being obnoxious (like kids tend to be) from the living space of my room (though couldn't hear in the bedroom) and there seemed to be a few bday parties/events going on which seems to be the norm at this hotel, as such kids being loud ended around 10-11pm (pool closing at 10pm seemed to be a big factor there too & admittedly we didn't use the pool so I can't speak to that experience.) It didn't bother me much but I could see someone paying for a premium/top-floor suite a bit bothered about that fact. The GOOD: Things in my room/lobby weren't nearly as broken as people made it out to be. YES, there is currently a few areas on ground floor being renovated but that's good because it shows the hotel is fixing things that reviewers in years past have criticized. The fountain in the lobby worked, Two out of the three elevators were operating, and everything in my room worked (except balcony door was a bit stuck but opened with force which was honestly a little worrying that it might break). Not THAT bad: All in all it's a pretty average stay, and if you've stayed at other embassy suites you know what to expect (with the corporate standards of room/lobby.) When I checked in staff was really sweet & let us know about free drinks & other amenities (there wasn't even a line I anticipated but we were like 20mins early to check-in for that reason), but when we checked out they were overwhelmed/slightly understaffed dealing with phonecalls, a convention setting up downstairs & general check-out duties, but I think that's where people get the "bad service" from it's really not that bad, they're just people too, and I'm assuming those who claim workers are "rude" are just uncompassionate "karens" who don't understand service industry & respect being a two-way street, but I digress.. all in all the workers were decently nice.Final Verdict: My main problem is for the top-floor/balcony asking price it's a bit expensive for some dated bathroom/furniture styling, but honestly that's superficial and can be overlooked. I would say however top-floor was worth it, because there seemed to be very few groups of people up there in an otherwise packed hotel. So 4/5 stars because of the price of an otherwise 'slightly-better-than-average' stay.Balcony was nice although sliding doors track was worn & a little stuck. Bathroom had a dated tub/fixed shower-head combo. King-bed/couch was comfy. Fridge/microwave/coffeemaker/the two tvs worked. Hotel is near Dave & Busters separated by 1 or 2 parking lots.
Paula Loving: receptionist were really rude. The Refrigerator was not working, The plumbing bathtub and sink was stopped up a couple of times. They allowed children to run all over the hotel play on elevators not considering other guest police were called. It was horrible. This hotel charge to much a night to have such horrible service. I really do deserve a refund. I have never experienced this type of nonsense with any hotel until this one.
Wilenda Bolden: The worst 5 star hotel I have ever been to.Noteworthy details: HORRIBLERooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
