Elizabeth Vera: Outstanding pharmacy and wonderful staff. We have been using them for years for our dog, Miguelito’s, medication. They have always been so kind and accommodating. Our dog just passed away and we received the most thoughtful condolences card from the staff today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for all these years of providing his medication, your wonderful service, and your kindness. It’s been a pleasure using Dalcoma. Highly recommend!!!!
Suzanne Johnson: I have been using this pharmacy over a year to receive medication for my 15 yr old cat with an over active thyroid. They send me the medication. The US post office lost the medication the last time and apologized for losing it. The Dalcoma pharmacy was so kind to send me more medication without charging for it and sending it over night UPS without charging me the extra it cost them. For this I am thankful.
Inge Bradley: Not open enough hours.Only a few Saturdays. Closing early without letting you know. Once was without meds. a whole weekend! And almost happened again if I hadn't called.
Lynn Calvert: If I could give this pharmacy zero stars, I would. They are rude, uncooperative and lazy. I recently called to let them know I had new insurance and it hadn't shown up yet so my meds were over $200. When I got there and they informed me the insurance hadn't covered this she said " Would you like me to call the insurance?" Who wouldn't want them to call? What was I going to say? "No, that's ok, don't call. I would rather just pay the $200?"They have terrible hours and this is the second week in a row they are only open 4 days. I called to make sure they are open today and the rude person that answers the phone told me they would not fill the one script any more unless I had more scripts to pick up. I don't have Cancer any more so I don't need that meducation. I can't get into my Primary CareCarr Care Physician for months to get my BP script. I finally said what if I didn't have any other meds prescribed to me? She said its too late you already told me that you did.The place is always dirty. The employees never smile or barely even look at you. I don't know why I put up with them as long as I did.
Ken Barduca: This WAS a great pharmacy, now after 7 years of doing buisness with them they have decided to get greedy and tell me either they get all of my medications or they will fill none of them even after I explained my insurance company has an arrangement with CVS to use them with the exception of hard to get scripts but they don't care and informed me u have to go elsewhere if they can't have them all. Lots of other small specialty pharmacies out there and o e of them will be getting my buisness going forward because I still have a few scripts that get filled monthly and will need to for a long time to come. Your loss of buisness.

Sue Ulbrich: Be very careful buying items here. They don't take off shelf when item is expired. I went to buy two different items yesterday. One expired in January and one in December!!! That is really poor. Not sure I will be back.
K T: I should’ve trusted my gut and not stopped here after reading the other reviews. This place is much smaller with less variety than the other stores. Not sure if the guy there was a manager but he couldn’t even bother to greet his customers. The cashier was less than pleasant as well. I inquired about the 20% off (non sale items) that I ALWAYS automatically get upon checking out at other stores and was asked if I had a coupon. I told her I didn’t because I thought it was automatically applied if you’re a member. She said NOONE does that and acted like I was crazy for asking. The coupon is in the monthly sales paper, which was probably feet away near the entrance but she couldn’t be bothered to type in the code to give me the discount. I’m tempted to return the $100 of items purchased. And won’t be returning to this location afterwards.

Chris Walker: So I came to the store looking for a quality probiotic, I was sold a refrigerated kind and on day two I was reading the package and it was expired by months!! I called and they said it was still good, it’s just a suggestion.. we’ll I spent 50 dollars on expired goods, and can’t find the receipt, didn’t think I’d need it as I made an account with them… one let down after another! Better to just buy online, less hassle and digital records! Hope this review helps newcomers!
G G: They send a mail out of flyer to my house every month, it has a coupon for savings on it always, it's used to draw you in, if you forget to bring it you don't get the discount no matter how many thousands of dollars you have spent there. Irritating. Why not a card like Kroger or PRACTICALLY EVERYWHERE ELSE! , I'm not cheap but if I can save 20% and knowing I can't get it because of a microscopic technicality that they themselves create, problem solved , I can shop somewhere else.

I hope management at least speaks with her because I'm sure she treats others like this also just running business away unnecessarily.
Jackie Morley: I am a frequent Better Health shopper in Grosse Pointe and have been to the Hall Road location a handful of times. I work approximately 3 minutes from here and would go more often for lunch were it not for the rude staff. Just today, I introduced a colleague to this market and was excited to share all of the great product they sell! However, after smiling and saying hello to the red-haired, teenager cashier, she was so rude it actually put a damper on the entire visit. This isn't the only time the employees have shown blatant, unsolicited rudeness. I typically order a smoothie from the deli when I visit and they are also rude. I can't quite understand what the issue is at this facility but I hope anyone who experiences this same issue will please try the location on Mack. The staff there are extremely pleasant and helpful.

lyutsin21: I have been experimenting with making bread from scratch, mainly so I can make it without salt. I wanted to try an ingredient called Vital Wheat Gluten. Meijer, the store I buy a lot of my stuff from, didn't have it. I checked the internet. I saw an advertisement for the ability for Instacart to buy it from a Better Health store. I first went to the Better Health location on 13 mile, just because it was on my way to my parents house. They didn't have it. I called this Better Health location. Unbelievably they said they had it. I came to the store. I bought a 20 ounce package of Bob's Red Mill Vital Wheat Gluten... this place lacks the organic produce I saw at the 13 mile location... I only bought the one ingredient. I saw a lot of expensive organic and gluten-free products, grain-like stuff like crackers and cereal, a big vitamin section, other stuff I would eat in theory if it was cheaper... but if the Vital wheat gluten works I will be back next time I need another package of it...

Dylan Brews: I felt racially targeted while shipping in this store. I love my experience with Better Health but this store I won’t return to. No one greeted me, they were condescending, and to add insult to injury while the young lady was “watching” me she never opened her mouth. The cashier Marie couldn’t have been bothered until I said I’ve gone to the one on Hall Rd. Ladies let’s not forget we live in a world of constant review so if you’re going to “follow me” and “racially profile me as someone who may commit theft we aren’t as woke as we should be.

Lin: They have a small selection versus other better health stores. Prices are high (even higher than Whole Foods) and I have received at least 3 moldy bags of vegan cheese shreds from them. Idk if it's this locations specific refrigerator or what but its a problem.

Lisa (The Sterling Critic): Walgreens pharmacy is horrible!!! I switch to Rite Aid. They would always send me messages saying it was an insurance problem when actually it was my dogs medicine that doesn’t even get covered under insurance. Half the time they don’t have a pharmacist so you can I get your medicine. This is not the pharmacist fault but more than likely Walgreens for not paying them enough.
Meghan Rokita: Very disappointed with this location's pharmacy.After surgery, the surgeon prescribed a muscle relaxer for me. As I was bedridden and my husband was sick, I requested the delivery service they offer through FedEx. I submitted and paid for same-day delivery. The app said "shipped", but it didn't arrive after two days, and I had no tracking number. I called the pharmacy and they said they had no way to track it. I called on the 3rd day and only then found out FedEx never picked it up - it was in the pharmacy the whole time! I had my husband pick it up, and he came back with an entirely different maintenance medication of mine. The employee tried to blame my husband for not knowing the name of the medication, after I had spoken with 2 pharmacy technicians to clarify this situation. Communication failed on several occasions, and I was without a post-surgical medication for 3 days. Couldn't even get it filled somewhere else since they billed my insurance. Multiple people dropped the ball.

Nan McClar: Very convenient pharmacy at 17 mile and Ryan. A big chain pharmacy I've used for years was out of my medication at all of their locations. They had it at The Medicine Shoppe. The pharmacist and her tech were awesome! They got my prescription transferred and filled it quickly. They were professional and so nice. It was a great experience.

Sandie Menke: I spoke to Kanu and asked if he accepted Medicare = yes, asked if he delivered to Sterling Hgts., = yes. Then I proceeded to transfer all of my mother-in-laws meds. I asked for her BP script to be filled and delivered the next day. He said he would. All was going great! The next day came, no delivery. When we called the day after, he stated her insurance would only allow the scripts to be filled at CVS or Walgreens. That's odd, my father-in-law goes to Kroger. And by the way, thanks for the call. She was OUT OF BP MEDS! It put me in a bad spot because I had to rush out and fill them and deliver them. Very disappointed in NOT getting a phone call.

I was filling a script here. my docs office sent it over. received a text from the pharmacy that it's ready for pickup. when I arrived one of the rude ladies said that it was never sent in. the second one said my script was sent in but wasn't ready. then they told me to come back in 10 min when I came back in no more than 9 min, I counted. they were closed for lunch, I read the sign and they went to lunch early . I don't care I want people to get their break but at least get my script you told me was ready to n 10 min. they have the worst customer service ever . they should be fired .

John Beshai: This is the worst Walgreens ever, the employees do not know what they are doing, three ladies today worded in my prescription, one told me we are out of your medication, the other one told me you need a refill, the third one after she said you need a refill, she said no you don’t need a refill, and when I told her I will complain about what happen tonight that you make me wait for half an hour and you don’t know how to pronounce my name right she said “whatever.” The service I got from those employees tonight was down right rude and disrespectful.
