Randall Residence of Sterling Heights: what do users think?
Pamela Meyer: You are fantastic with my mom. Thank you
Drew Kergan: Had such a great time tonight at the Trunk or Treat! The entire staff and everyone that turned out did such a great job! Randall Residence has given us back quality, fun time with mom after a very difficult year for our family. If you find yourself having to make tough decisions on moving a loved one, I urge you to take a closer look at RR. We couldn’t be happier with all of the care she is receiving.
Gary Fifield: I highly recommend Randall Residence Sterling Heights. My mother lived there for more than six years and eventually passed away there. From her first day and onward, she received loving and appropriate care. I couldn’t have asked for a better situation.
akilah mccrackins: I’ve worked at this company for 7 years and I love my job, being able to care for my residents is an amazing feeling and I love that I get the opportunity to learn and grow.
Kanara Clark: I been working for the company for over 4 years. I like been with the company and caring for the residents. It’s a company that you grow at. I appreciate them for giving me the opportunity to care for the residents.
Rachel Hayden: Stay far, far away from this place.Monday night my grandfather climbed OUT HIS WINDOW and crossed Schoenherr in the middle of the night. He was picked up by a police cruiser and taken to the hospital. We received a call from the hospital before Randall realized he was missing. You would think that a memory care facility would have the foresight to put alarms or proper locks on their windows. They informed us that an alarm was installed on his window (and we hoped and assumed they would place alarms on every residents window after this).Well here I am, FOUR DAYS LATER. We got a call that he had gone into a neighboring room and climbed out their window. Luckily someone found him outside. The lack of safety in this facility astounds me. It makes you wonder if the people who run this place have dementia themselves. We live in Michigan, the temps are below freezing, and every resident that lives in this facility is at risk. We have had to move my grandfather three times in the past year and a half and here we are, faced with the idea of having to uproot him again because people can't put two brain cells together and keep him safe. Our family hasn't heard a word from management about either incident. And they are still not placing alarms on every window.
Adrian Carlos: great no one died
Muriel Blackwood: My dad got covid in there and died

Pine Ridge of Hayes Retirement Community: what do users think?
Jeni Barg: Finding a trustworthy senior community offering some assisted living for my 80 year old Mom has been a daunting task to say the least. Finding a place that will care for my mom with love and compassion has been difficult. I was beginning to lose hope. From the moment my Mom and I stepped into Pine Ridge of Hayes for our tour with Skyler, we were impressed. The best way I can describe it is that it just feels like “home”. We moved her in recently and have not doubted the decision whatsoever. The ENTIRE staff is beyond friendly and you can just tell that they all do their jobs from the heart. I can rest easy knowing my Mom is in good hands and that feeling is EVERYTHING!
Sue Peters: Been working here for almost 10 years and I love it! Our community is more like a family. We all work together to make PRH more amazing than the day before. Wouldn't want to work anywhere else. Love my residents bunches. ❤️.
amber rodgers: My grandpa lives at Pine Ridge of Hayes and I'm so thankful he lives at such a warm and inviting community!
Brigitte Kaliszewski: The team at Pine Ridge is second to none.
Kathy D: My mom is a resident at Pine Valley. We had to find living arrangements for her with little notice due to a health issue. She chose Pine Ridge because of location & the screened in patio was very attractive to her. She wasn’t thrilled not to be able to return to her home but she agreed to give it a try for a year with the agreement that if she didn’t like it, I would start looking for a home that we could both live in & have her out in a year. She loves living at Pine Ridge. Every Friday she sends me a pic of the wine that’s offered at dinner. Funny thing is she was never a drinker. Now she likes her Friday glass of wine. She’s never complained once about anything. She wasn’t feeling well one day, they called 911, called me to let me know & when she didn’t return the next day they called me to see how she was doing & asked if I needed anything. There have been a few times she needed help with bathing, medication & things like that. They have staff on site that are available to help her if I can’t. Most important is that she loves it. I appreciate the service they provide. They care about their residents. If an issue arises it handled & I’m notified. My mom is happy living there & that makes me happy.
Caitlin Kelly: I started working at Pine rige 4years ago I started out as 1 of their dishwashers, but as time went on I got to learn how to be A server with help from the other server staff teaching me,then I got to learn some of the other job & I have to say that the workes here for simply amazing & deadacade to there jobs I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for A job to join are team
Ron Broquet: All of the staff make the residents feel like they are family in a warm, caring environment.
Grace Boyd: My mil has been there since May of 2016 and we are so pleased. It is a truly loving community. Never a dull moment there. Lots of activities to participate in. Best of all is the compassionate staff. A+
Nancy Forton: Having my mother living at Pine Ridge has been a big relief for me as I live in another state. I know she has transportation when needed for medical needs. Staff checks up on her if she misses a meal or if she if feeling bad.I have had so much less stress in my life from worrying about her living on her own. This is the best decision we made when we picked Pine Ridge.Thank you and all the staff for outstanding serviceNancy F.
Jacqueline Campo: My mom is doing very well at Pine Ridge. She came in there almost a year ago and could barely walk, she had therapy at pine ridge and eats very great gourmet food every day, she is now walking miles every day-doing fantastic! The people there are very caring, they treat the residents like family. I am very very pleased with Pine Ridge❤️!
Sir ohnonothimagain: Great place for your elder's care. Clean facilities with compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Plenty of activities and good food. A must check for anyone looking for care of their loved ones.
Kathy Fairchild: This is the best place to be for anyone who likes wholesome family experience everyday! With tons of great activities from outings to indoor activities such as bingo 3 times a week to contests and crafts! We are able to invite our families to many of our in-house activities! I just LOVE it HERE!
Dave C: Great staff, everyone is very nice and they take care to see that our loved one is cared for. The food served here is a bonus.
Skyler Hayes: I absolutely love working here! Everybody is excited to be at work every day, and its warm and inviting. The residents here are such a joy to serve.
laura: If I could give this place a zero I would if you are a woman and want to work here in the guardian department do not! one of the managers/man who owns the building Ron has no respect and will tell you straight to your face to shut up and literally try to step to you I did not feel safe being around him also if you wish to not feel like your back in highschool I also wouldn’t recommend working here
William Wolfgang: My parents moved here 3 1/2 years ago. They were here for 3 months and then my father passed. But he was happy here. This place really helped him while he was here. The staff is fantastic. After my father passed my mother did not want to leave. She moved to a 1 bedroom apartment and is happy here, living like a queen because she doesn’t have to cook, clean , or do laundry! If you move here I’m sure she’ll track you down and make you feel like you belong!
Fred Jackson: Great facility and the staff is fantastic!
Store 206: Very clean, beautiful place and very friendly people!
Marie Johnson: My mother has been a resident at Pine Ridge of Hayes since July 2021. I feel at ease knowing she is taken good care of. The staff is wonderful. Everyone is friendly & helpful.
Stephanie Masseth: My family member has been there for a few years. Not only did they go above and beyond with getting her apt set up to her liking they have been consistently a great support to her overall wellbeing. Pine Ridge keeps us informed of programs, works with us for special requests, and has always been there to support our family and taking care of our family member. Thanks Pine Ridge!
Valerie Verduin: Love..., love this community, great atmosphere, gives you independence and extra services to meet your needs. Staff and residents are family 💕

Joey Costanza: Nicen place a wee bit on the small side but...all in all nice.
indir fazlagic: I would give this place a negative star if it allowed me to. Don't move here. The association does absolutely nothing for you when you have an issue. Save your money and look elsewhere. This place is a dump

Arden Courts of Sterling Heights: what do users think?
BB8 Eight: I had looked into this place for a loved one who had Dementia and needed more care than the family could provide on a regular basis during Covid lockdowns. I wish we had gone with this place. This was at a time when I feel the elderly were more at risk for poor care or neglectful care so I felt if security cameras were not allowed it was not the place to have such a vulnerable person live. If a person has a private room it should not be a problem at all. I did not ask if they let families install cameras but had a feeling this was a good and safe place that vetted a caring staff. Sometimes if you hear there is a high turnover in staff it is because they let people go who they don't feel are up to their standards so it's not necessarily a bad thing. Having a skilled and compassionate caregiver is the most important thing. Because of distance we decided on another place called Hampton Manor which seemed wonderful and then was just awful. They just would not connect the family with our person on phone and usually cancelled video chats. We did a surprise Holiday window visit even they tried to cancel it and they brought our loved one to the window shivering in short sleeves and with dried food dumped down the front of the shirt. Fingernails very long and had dirt underneath. Later we were told the caregivers ate all of the holiday snack gifts we brought. They ripped out our security cameras we have always used to chat to our family member though there was nothing in the paperwork that disallowed it. When we tried to get tough as a punishment to us they shipped our loved one out to the hospital for no reason. This was at a pre-vaccine time when it was very dangerous for seniors to go there. Do not use Hampton Manor in Shelby!
Patricia Rizzo: On the positive side, this is a beautiful facility. The staff is very caring and compassionate. The residents are well taken care of and its a very safe environment. The meals are well rounded and adjusted to meet the residents needs. The rooms are very bright and homey. The staff talks to each resident, addressing them by first name. Also, a very clean facility. On the negative side, it is EXTREMELY pricey. If a family has limited funds, it will quickly be depleted. Also, as a small sidebar, they won’t trim hand or foot nails, so having a doctor come in to do this is an added cost, along with medications. We have had the unfortunate issue twice, of the nurses “jumping the gun” and calling for an ambulance only to be told by hospital staffing, that they “had no idea” why she was at the hospital. Since my friend has no insurance, these were more costly expenses owed by her.All in all, a beautiful, friendly community. Lots of friendly staff and a very safe facility. Just be prepared to have costs above and beyond the quoted prices of residency.
lisa new: We are in the process of hiring an attorney and calling the state board on this facility. My mother was physically fine when she moved in and only had dementia. In her less than 3 month stay she lost 7% of her body weight, had bruised wrists, swollen knee and was limping, they drugged her up on anti-agitation medicine so she was stoned and she fell and fractured her pelvis. The emergency physician at the hospital said she should never of been on that medication. She is now in a wheel chair, diapers and has to be spoon fed.....this place has altered my mothers quality of life and should be held accountable for the additional care she will require the rest of her life due to their negligence!
Lori S.: I have a family member there and am consistently reminded of how short staffed they are with each visit, several times a week. The layout and concept of the place is great so potential clients are impressed as were we. But now experiencing the care that is actually there has left us disappointed and concerned about our family member's well-being. It seems that under-staffing has affected the staff too as their seems to be a lot of stress and little incentive for quality people to stay. There those that do care of course and we are indebted to them but they are overworked and can only do so much.I think that elder care in general is not considered to be a priority for our government and it is reflected in the services that are available. Elder care at this time relies on quality, compassionate, intelligent and healthy workers and that resource seems to be limited.Do your homework and read all reviews from people that have actually experienced a place, not just visited.
Alexandra Budnik: Great compassionate care!
jim connor: My mother in law has been in many homes. Now she has memory issues so we brought her to arden court sterling heights, it was one of the best experience my family has been a part of. The staff is very professional and caring treat mom like family, very clean and and kept up. We could not imagine having her anywhere else. We could not have had better team helping us.
mj48310 mj48310: I have visited on various occasions and found the atmosphere to be a caring environment for our loved ones and friends that need that special type of attention. From the moment you enter the front door you are treated as a valued guest and greeted with a smile. The compassion given by the staff  to the residents I have come in contact has been good to see regardless of their position. The court yard is a safe secure place to explore a bit of freedom. The community rooms offer various activities to stimulate the memory process.
Ed Topp: Great staff
