N K: The saleswoman was very nice and attentive. The reason I'm giving a less than perfect review is because she can't count, short changed me. The error was corrected but could have been avoided.Maybe I'll blame it on our cashless system she might not be use to handling money just card transactions. Either way when you handle cash, don't you count what you are giving the customer and compare it with the change the register tells you is owed. Maybe she just made a mistake shorting me ten whole dollars.I am so glad I checked my change in her face right when it was handed to me. Needless to say count your change and check your receipts.

Mr. Wonka style: The people were all completely useless, we had to wait ten minutes to find the shoes my wife had picked out correct box Idk why they couldn't use one of the countless empty boxes we came across. Then on top of that my wife realized the shoe she had which was the only size supposedly considering how lost they all seemed there could have been some in the back. However they said they would do 10% or we could go to Oakland mall 15 miles away and "try" there I guess blind? I had picked out a pair of shoes and I had started stating the fact I felt we were being treated badly and the manager seemed to give me the feeling that she didn't care and that I could leave so I did when I asked the name she told me with attitude as if to say go ahead give us a bad review. We were going to spend 120 or so which isn't a lot but they missed out by not even trying to make our experience better. The stuff is cheap for a reason I suppose truly a terrible and uncomfortable experience.

Hikman USA: I bought the Irish Setter work boots with the BOA lock laces from this branch few weeks ago and I put them to the real test already.I can say I’m very satisfied with the results, so far no water leaks, no holes or tears and they aren’t slippery. My work conditions are extreme because I’m stepping on oil, grease, lubricants, mud ,rocks, Ice and standing in water swamps up to 10 hours a day.I also love the Boa laces mechanism, it was the best decision!i will pass by again soon to see if i can order more comfortable soles because after 6 or 7 hours of walking/standing my foot is start hurting little bit because i do have very flat foot.It can get little cold on the inside when standing for many hours in the snow but not if wearing good thick socks.At the store I was assisted by Robert. He is very friendly, experienced and humble. I recommend you ask for him if you plan on going there! He is patient even when the store is busy and he will help you try many boots before you decide which one works best for you. Thanks Red Wing & keep up the good work guys!

eric krajniak: My brother was starting a job and had a $100 voucher to put towards a pair of steel toed boots. We told the store employee his situation (that the $100 was all that he had) and he went and grabbed a pair of boots that were around $150. He thought about it for a second then went to the back and got a different pair that he said we're actually, in his opinion and mine to after looking at them, better than the first pair he showed us. It was nice because these were $20 cheaper too. So after everything I only had to borrow my brother $30. The salesman could've sold us something more expensive and we'd have never known that he could've saved us some money, but he didn't care about selling us higher priced shoes/boots, he took care of us like a friend would've. If I'm ever in the market for a pair of Red Wing Shoes I'll be going back here.

Craig Boyd: If I could give negative stars I would. I took 2 pairs of boots in for a repair the one pair I took home that day the 2nd pair were less than a year and a half old and looked like they’d been put through a wood chipper and needed stitch repair and a tough toe put on them. The kid behind the counter wouldn’t even stand up from his chair to see the toe of my boot that was shredded so I had to take it off to show him. A week and a half later I called to see if my boots were in and ready to be picked up and they were. So I picked up my boots after never receiving a call letting me know they were ready to be picked up. A day later i put them on only to notice something in the toe of my boot on my drive to work. I get to work remove my boot, and had a hard time getting out what was in my boot so I reach inside and pull out a razor blade. Luckily I didn’t cut my foot, but When I called the manager, Robert, he wasn’t really interested in what happened, and he wasn’t sure what he could do other than apologize. He was very argumentative when I asked how he was going to make this right. He asked for my number and I asked for his bosses number after I gave him mine. Long story short, he refused to give me his bosses number and when I asked if he wasn’t giving me his bosses number in fear of losing his job, he hung up on me. I will never go to this location again

Canton store helped me find boot for a xmas gift at Sterling Heights store. I ordered the boot by phone pd an additional cost for shipping. Was told boot would be here Saturday at latest Monday. Wednesday came still not here. As you can imagine, I was livid!There was a in-store situation after I placed my order that I was not aware of. Even though I do not agree with how that was handled, the manager, Robert, made it right! He went above and beyond by hand delivering to my front door at 7:00pm., Sterling Heights is an hour away from me, who does that???? Certainly not the Garden City store, which is 15min from me.Thank you, Robert!!!!!!!

I live 770 miles away, near Atlanta, Ga.This was a phone purchase because their store was one of only 4 in the country that had the boot I was after, and in my size.Rita took my order over the phone on Monday, and shipped my boots the next morning. I received them on Thursday.Store staff, Rita, the assistant manager, and the gentleman I spoke with on the phone just now are incredibly helpful.I have been given knowledge that no one has ever given regarding wearing new boots and breaking them in.As a company, Red Wing Shoes has ALWAYS delivered quality and good service. I don't think the company has ever disappointed me.I am grateful, and want everyone to know how awesome these fine folks are.

Whether your looking for the ulimate stylish summer shoes, statement boots, or head turning heels for special occasions or a night out, this store has a large inventory of shoes at very reasonable prices. They sell gorgeous purses that look better than most the high end designer purses I own. I have a few for special nights out that make me feel extra feminine, like a princess! They offer discounts with your purchases. They may not always have the size you're looking for (because their shoes are highly sought after) but keep peeking on their inventory. There's always a great selection. Honestly, I used to buy a lot of my shoes at Macy's, but the shoes here buy FAR surpass in looks, quality, and price. I get excited walking through the mall and the store window and shoe display comes in sight. Every single pair of shoes I've purchased here has gotten attention and compliments every time they are worn. Check them out! You'll want to buy almost one of everything!

Beverly Jacobs: I will NEVER shop at Manic Shoes again. I told the sales person I wanted knee-high boots for my granddaughter. She showed me a pair that I thought looked too high. My granddaughter is only 5'4". When I told her that she said this is what the young people are wearing. Well, they WERE too high. Not what my granddaughter wanted or what I asked for. When I went back with my ORIGINAL receipt I was denied a refund and was offered a store credit. Never was i told about this policy. She said it's on the receipt. Too late. Since the store didn't have what I wanted I resent being forced to buy something else.

I had to go bare footed the rest of the night at a formal Christmas party. Nicole H: Poor return policy. One week to make returns at the holidays!? I rushed to make a return before leaving on vacation. Didn't find anything I liked. Employee hand wrote a extension on my receipt. I wasn't too confident but she assured me it want any issue. Went back and (surprise) another girl questioned my receipt and called her manager. Short story, I walked out without anything to show for it. Wouldn't go back regardless of this experience.

Serena LaRose: I was VERY upset with the service at this store. I have a service dog that provides me with medical alerts due to heart conditions. While shopping at this store one of the costumers HIGHLY overreacted to seeing my service dog and in doing this the manager approached me and kicked us out of the store and told us to leave because "he didn't want to lose costumers". It is FEDERAL law that my MEDICAL alert dog be granted access anywhere I go, i would have willingly stayed away from the woman who was scared of the dog and just bought what i came for, but no i was still forced out. By breaking this law this man could go to jail for 90 days and be fined $500 and in some situations both. I was very disappointed with the rudeness i received and was quite offended. I suggest that if you want Manic shoes to go else where or to the one at Oakland mall where we were openly welcomed, service dog and all.
