Newaz Rahman: I brought a full set of my own tires to have them installed at Discount tire - a service which they offer to do. Mind you these are my old tires, albeit not new; they are 1 year old and still had 10/32 tread left, so 90%+ life still in them. Got there at 3pm. They tell me it will be 45 mins until my car is looked at and another 30 mins to have the tires installed. So I decided to patiently wait. They get to my car at 3:45pm and immediately refuse to install the tires because there was a very small surface cut on the block of the tread, which did not penetrate, but they did not want to install it for their own liability reason, which is understandable. So I said okay fine, can you install 2 tires on 1 axle? They refused to do that because my car is AWD. I politely packed all my stuff in the car, got in the car and drove to a local tire shop up the road to have it installed for cheaper.
Daniel Rits: I’ve been going to this discount for the last 10 years, today will be the final time my family or anyone I know goes back to this place, they seem to have a bogus excuse to why they can’t patch a tire, this is the 4th time within a year I’ve brought one of my cars here to be patched and was not taken care of all 4 times so I went a mile down to pep boys who had no problem patching it and got it done in 30 min. Donald Gibson, Jr.: Only 2 people in line to have tire pressure checked and possibly filled. 40 MINUTE WAIT AND ENDED UP LEAVING AFTER LITERALLY CALLING THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BEING TOLD WE'D HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST ANOTHER 20 MINUTES. DESPITE WE SAT THERE AND COUNTED 8 EMPLOYEES WORKING AND 2 CARS IN THE 4 CAR BAY AREA.

Heather: I made an appointment to get my tire patched because I had a flat thanks to a screw. It took less than the estimated time to get it done and when completed I was so surprised when I was told there's no charge!! I was so caught off guard when he handed me my receipt I didnt know what to say. I asked and got quickly told it was for safety. I was so pleasantly surprised it made the rest of my day just a little better.
W Zur (wzur): Been going to Discount Tire for 20+ years. Good place for tires but boring waiting room with no tv, coffee or anything entertaining to keep kids busy if you’re bringing children. When you’re told it’s a 2.5 hour wait, plan ahead to have a ride or pay extra for a Uber as this place has the most boring waiting room!!Since tire are competitive and don’t differ in price from other suppliers, I’ll be looking for another place that caters to the customer on waiting room benefits or next door to restaurant.Edit update: found My New Pl., Belle, tire on van Dyck. The waiting room is 100% better

They weren't interested with fixing my tire that was purchased at discount tire, just selling tires. No first come first serve here. I will not be back. As for the manager not interested either.
Ms. Keke: Terrible experience. Another lady and I waited in the air check lane for 20 minutes or more and still wasn’t recognized/acknowledged. The both of us tried calling and they didn’t answer the phone. It took for me to drive to the front door and go in. Two guys came out of the office talking and giggling like they actually had the time to do that! I explained to them how long we’ve been waiting and no one has given us a ETA, a wave or anything. Of course they blamed it on staffing but couldn’t explain why they had the time to have a chit chat and giggle session in the office. One even being the manager! So after time wasted, that we can’t obviously get back, we finally got the air service, just 30 minutes later.

I went to get my tire inspected {due to previously being told the day before my tire had a slow leak by Discount TIRE ASSOCIATE} my anti lock break, abs light & traction light was all on. I immediately asked for a manager where he rudely stated" How do I know the lights were not already on" he dismissed me immediately leaving me confused and in absolute shock. I immediately received my onstar notification stating there is an issue with my anti lock brakes. My EQUINOX WAS FINE Prior. I will be taking my vehicle to my mechanic and will also be contacting a LAWYER for any REPAIRS that have resulted in DISCOUNT TIRE IN STERLING Heights incompetence and RUDE TECHNICIANS.
Rich Fowler: Good price for tires. Incredibly fast service and the staff was very friendly and professional. Notified me that my rim was bent and would need replacing. Great experience, usually auto shops have the grumpiest dudes but not this place. Would recommend to anyone needing new tires.

Well it all started getting recommended for this place that was a big mistake, come to find out I could have gotten the same tires and free rotation at discount and had better customer service than this place. This place however overcharged me on the tires and charged me extra for rotating the tires on a program. Which I could never get in to set an appointment because they were never available or had no time to do it when I requested it or kept telling me it'll be a month out then a call back a month later and still they couldn't do it so basically yeah I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Will stick with discount tire. Not this place.

Holly Wright: Our alternator started to break down and we just hardly made it to the Bonus Tire/Michelin shop in Sterling Heights on Van Dyke road. The people working there were rude and said they were too busy to even take a look or tell us what was wrong so we could start problem solving. They wouldn’t even give us the time of day to test our battery. We were 9 hours from home with a newborn in a heat advisory and They just basically said tough luck we will try to take a look on Monday because they were done at 2:00, no further help offered. Luckily My husband found an auto zone a 1/2 mile away and walked there and returned with a worker who drove his own vehicle to give us a jump and get us to the auto zone parking lot. Josh was so kind and helpful! Installed a new alternator and battery for free (we gave him a very nice tip and review for all his help). To the people at Bonus Tire I hope you never find yourself broken down with a baby in 95 degrees in-front of people capable of helping you but too rude and unwilling to do so.
Dave Tank: I had a flat tire (spare on vehicle, flat tire in trunk) that I brought to them, with no appointment... They took it right in, found the leak, plugged it, re-mounted the tire, put away the spare and jack neatly, and even put the wheel lock back in the glovebox without asking, all at a very reasonable price. Was in and out in 45 minutes.

I brought my car there that I just bought it had vibrations the previous owner said there's 2 different size tires i told them to check out see maybe the tires have to switched maybe they have the tires balanced i don't what it is thats what I told him find out for me. he switched the tires I said it might be they didn't need to be changed out in first place and they charged for it and plus they couldn't even figure out thats its a rack and pinion there not that good of mechanics they charged me $80 for 15 minutes of work and no answers or fixes. They mark up their parts high and their labor is high too.

When I Picked up my truck the steering was still off and pulling to the right side, took it to different shop they said it needed ball joints and sway bar link was broke, was told from the other shop they don’t see how anyone could of done alignment on it.

william vee: I enquired about new rims and tires for my wife's suburban and rio really took care of me. I am in North Carolina and he video chatted with me and asked me a bunch of questions to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. Gave me the price ( which was $500 cheaper then the other 4 places I looked) wasn't pushy or pressure me into a quick sale. Just said, " look around some more if you want and let me know if I can help you out." I was a little nervous buying from a different state but everything worked out perfectly. I got the rims and tires in four days delivered to my houseMounted, balanced with new tps sensors. The new black rims looked awesome and packaged extremely well, not a scratch on any of them. I put them on myself and took them for a drive. Got up to 85 mph and not a hint of vibration! A quick 10 minute stop at my local tire shop to program the new tps sensors and I was in my way. If you or anyone else is looking for wheels and tires definitely let Rio help you out! You won't be disappointed!!!

Just Maybe: Customer service at Sterling Hts location is very poor. Waited 10-15 minutes to be acknowledged first of all. Then was charged 2x for tire installation by Pep Boys & Amazon. Was told by Pep Boys 3 weeks ago I was credited, I still haven't seen it.Still waiting over a month, doesn't seem to matter to you. Hopefully others will learn from this.

P. H. S.: Could have been 5 stars, except.... The new tires were covered in a white grease. Most shops not only clean the tires before delivering the car, they will spray the tires with a conditioner. These tires looked worse than my 2-year old tires. And, it took nearly an hour after I was told they were working on the last tire. Other than that, the service rep, Jennifer, was great. She was friendly and professional. She could have used more help. The service desk was busy with a line of customers and she was the only one there. However, just 10 feet away, there were four clerks at the parts desk, doing nothing, looking at their phones, etc. Sort of like when you drive by a construction site, there's one guy digging, and four others just watching.

When I asked what the delay was, I was met with rude associates at the Sterling Heights location. It took over 4 hours to have tires installed, with an appointment. Every person in the store was rude, and unprofessional.

They swore up and down there was nothing wrong, So i made them take the tires off in front of me and the new drum they installed was purple and warped. 3 more times of dropping it off them keeping it overnight twice, Rear driver side wasn't even touching!Passenger rear was doing all the braking & that was after the manager Andy supposed worked on it n guaranteed it was good to go. IT WAS Not! These mechanics are incompetent and a danger. Still waiting on a reply from corporate but not holding my breathe. Place is a ripoff.

Brian: They do great work, but they’re too expensive now for changing out tires after they changed their prices. It’s easy to find cheaper elsewhere. And sometimes they’re too busy to even be able to get in.

Newaz Rahman: Used them a few times due to being local. But it’s been Hit/Miss kind of service. Their install prices have gone up significantly compared to every other tire shop in the greater metro Detroit area. Most places will charge under 100 bucks to mount and balance 4 customer supplied tires. This place quoted me 150 bucks for that. I understand due to inflation cost for everything has gone up, but to rip off customers for a tire change? No thanks! I’ll take my business elsewhere.

So I went back in and asked Steven, he said yes, but since the sale was closed out he couldn’t just credit me. Right away he offered other services where he could oblige me what I didn’t receive on the sale, $105.00.With that I decided I could bring my company's RAM 3500 pickup work truck back for an oil change as a credit would work against its bill. And just like that, it was $147.00 minus the $105.00 “credit” only costing me $42.00 TOTAL!!!Thanks Steven and Dave the manager!
Jerry Jones: Been a discount tire customer for the last 6 years. Horrible customer you need to get your tires aired up or aircheck you're waiting in line 30 40 minutes at a good. You go to Belle tire you are immediately met they don't charge you anyting to air up your tires and check all the air pressures. Very professional very courteous looking to get my next set of tires here.
Wayne Parks: Scheduled an appt for an alignment.All I needed was a front end alignment. I spent my money somewhere else to replace the whole front end with a mechanic that I trust. I only needed the front end of my car aligned and the tech refused to do it. Stating that the rear had damage and he wouldn't do it. So they wasted the only day I had to get it done. No other place around has techs on Sat or Sunday. I needed this front end aligned before Monday for my wife to get to work. So now I have to miss a day of work to do it on Monday with a place that will actually do the work asked of me. I will never bring a car to Bell Tire and make sure that no one I know ever shops at any of there locations again. This is unacceptable that they wasted my time and now my money that I'm losing taking time off work.After seeing other reviews about alignments being done here. This is typical. They show you more work that needs to be done so they can get more money out of you. This is such a scam.

Every time someone one’s here they find a reason to not do your alignment and if you call them out they tell you it is not thier problem. Well then whose problem is it? The manager here shouldn’t work in customer service if he doesn’t know how to talk and treat people.

David Heizer: I have been going to Belle Tire for 20+ years and the Sterling Heights location has been in the top 2 of the best stores. The attitude of the people is positive and each person has a true desire to do the job right. They also work to understand the needs of the customer.For my daughter's sake, they do know how to drive a stick shift and will treat your car with special care.

I wanted to say thank you to this Belle Tire location and their hard-workers for all the helpful service provided to my car. I called around 9:30 asking to come in for a potential tire repair/replacement; talked to Charlie whom was extremely helpful and informative. I went in around 10:00 and was assisted by David, he was happy to help. While waiting, they just had a TV installed and put the Captain America movie on, my favorite!! By 10:30 they had notified me where the slow leak was and that they'd patched it up. Maybe i caught them on a good day, but I never expected such fast service on my car! 10/10 reccomend this location, seems that everyone working here is enjoying their time and helping out others. The only down side is i kinda wished i could've watched more of Captain america lol

However, very disappointed that the tires I bought here 2 years and 1 month ago hit 25k miles and have completely worn out to the point mesh is exposed. They are listed online as a 60k mile tire! No honored manufacturer or belle tire warranty and the message given to me felt very much like, "Welp, not our problem. You are welcome to buy all new tires with us instead if you'd like."....

J K: Got my winter tires here. They took forever putting the tires on, left my car early in the morning, came back in the evening to find it not done still. I was told they were just having a hard time with my car.Once winter was over, I got them changed back to the regular tires. Again, I came back to pick it up only to find it not finished yet. I was given the same excuse about how they were having such a hard time with my car.Was charged over $100 just to get them changed each time for the labor.Fast forward, my tires keep going flat. I have to pump them every 2 days. I took them to Discount Tires and they told me that whoever put my tires on ** MOUNTED MY TIRES ON BACKWARDS **. They fixed it all for me for only $40. They also finished in less than an hour. Don't know why you guys had such a hard time, Sterling Tire, that it took you guys 8+ hours plus did the job wrong... Don't know why you also charge more than double....If you're wondering if you should go here, just go to Discount Tires instead. Cheaper and much more competent.I was told by two people not to come here but I never listen because this place was more convenient to come to during work. Never again.Service:Tires

Brian Petree: Wouldn't do my tire rotation and balance because my car is too small apparently. Funny because another location does it no problem. I used to work at this location and lifted cars smaller than my Chevy Trax everyday. Workers there just want a paycheck and no desire to work for it. When I call them out about not being to do it they told me they didn't have any blocks to lift it up or the other lift couldn't reach the lift points that was a lie. If I was you I would stay away from this location don't let them touch your car.

Brian MrDURP: Unknowledgeable staff. Owner was rude and had no idea what he was talking about.This shop actually caused further damage to my vehicle. Alignment came back with the steering wheel off center. (Whole purpose of the alignment) Went to a different shop for a second opinion, found out they "balanced" my tires more than 2 ounces off balance. Thankfully a different company was able to rectify this amateur shops costly mistakes and get me back on the road quickly.Won't be back. Do not recommend for any form of service. Wouldn't even trust them to top off the air in my tires properly
Cam Cuttler: I have been there many times for advice and quotes and I have never had an issue. It seems to me that if you show respect you get respect. Based on the one review its obvious that individual has no respect for himself or others. I called him an individual not a gentleman because he apparently is not a gentleman. Us gentleman show respect to others. I would recommend this store to anyone. As a matter of fact I am looking at buying wheels/tires for my jeep and will definitely be shopping here.

(Less than an hour later!!) These guys are seriously incredible.Customer service was great, and the prices even better. Speed and quality too? Offered to re-rotate the tires and having been a good distance away I did not feel it was worth it to drive all the way back. Either way, will not be back.
