I have used 4 and have re-signed the one I used 10 years ago to see if they have improved.Wayne Brown's EcoTurf(he is based in Berkley) is the absolute worst! Bar none. Without exception. They completely destroyed the grass we had and blamed in on:1. Fescue2. Over watering3. Uneven ground4. Poor quality grass seedAll of which I bought into and it kept getting worse and worse. Yet, with all of this said, I let him convince me to get it right this year(2022), with an in depth plan to fix it all. So, when I left him a text message last Thursday about the plan and attack and not one to two days went by, but 5 without a response, I cancelled the service on his website.Avoid EcoTurf lawn care at all costs as I now believe they are actually a fraudulent type company. I called EcoTurf, talked to Wayne, and he explained what services are necessary and gave me a great deal on Aeration and Overseeing with high quality Kentucky grass overseed. They called me to follow up to see how they did, which I never received a follow up call from my previous company. John J Williams: We decided to invest in a company to help keep our yard healthy and weed free. We have fairly new sod that was installed back in 2019. We were enticed by the program that was offered and the pricing that was given. We paid in full and didn't hear anything for several weeks. We thought someone would come out and look at our yard but that never happened. Our pre spring weed control wasn't put down until almost May. We struggled all summer with weeds and our yard was never green. You never knew when there was an application because there was no set schedule. You would receive a call if you were lucky that they would be out. After every application you would receive a card with a summary of the visit. It usually was always trying to tell us we needed to purchase additional services to correct our yard issues. One was to rethatch our entire yard which is brand new. Just overall disappointed with this company and will not be trying them again in the future.
Melissa Inman: We have been using EcoTurf since the purchase of our home 3 years ago and our lawn always looks amazing. If we ever have any issues or concerns they come out to talk with us, they make sure to come out when we are home to ensure that they can address our concerns accordingly. They are way better priced than the competitors and they do not try to upsell you anything that you do not need. We had an issue with moles last year (as did most of the neighborhood), one call into Wayne, he told us exactly what we needed to do, even provided the product to eliminate them and we have not had any moles since. We get compliments all the time on how wonderful our lawn looks and always recommend them to call EcoTurf! Don’t mind paying a few dollars more, but don’t expect me to pay 3 times the price.I buy sprinkler parts on a regular basis from Home Depot and Lowe’s. I was hoping to find a place where they had everything I was looking to purchase in stock and at a decent price.Home Depot and Lowe’s have good prices, but their selection stinks. That’s why I tried to take my business here.Unfortunately I had to take my business elsewhere.

Leah Thomas: Pro-Mo installed a new patio for me this summer. They were friendly, fast and their work is excellent. They worked extremely hard and always had smiles on their faces. The owner does the consultation and quoting. He was also on sight daily. It was refreshing to work with a contractor who communicated well and finished early! We have been enjoying the patio since July. Next summer we'll update the landscaping around the patio and will absolutely go back to Pro-Mo.
Nicole Gipson: I used this company multiple times and they did amazing work every time. Fall clean up service is great. Also, I had a drainage issue with my sump pump and Pro-Mo was able to correct the problem by digging up the old piping, resolve the issue, and replace the piping. I will continue to use them and highly recommend this company!

Andy W: I don't know whether these guys are drunk or what, but one of their drivers in one of their labeled vehicles just about ran me off of Vista Road out of road rage. I turned onto Vista out of a parking lot and got in front of him, and obviously he wanted to be first. He swerved into the turning lane and used it as a passing lane and then jetted out in front of me in the middle of the intersection so that he could be first again. I can't for the life of me figure out why people would drive like this when they're in a company vehicle. It's dangerous to drive like this at all, much less while driving a bulletin board for your company. Bad decision. If you want an angry lawn man, this is your guy!

1 2: My lawn was over fertilized and burned terribly. I contacted the office and a tech was sent out and confirmed that my lawn was over fertilized and burned. After calling the office and being told that my account would be credited and I’d have nothing to worry about. So fast forward to last week I received a letter from a collection company for the service that ruined my lawn. I’ve gotta say this is a pretty lousy business practice. Oras Yousif: Called for an estimate for Sod in my backyard and apparently someone came by but I never saw him. I had to call 2 weeks later to hear from the receptionist that the person that came out said that my backyard wasn’t worth servicing. My home was newly built and just has a bunch of weeds in the backyard. I don’t understand how you can stay in business giving that kind of response to people. I’ve received plenty of estimates from other companies for other services and I’ve never had one not even knock on my door out of courtesy to at least talk to me about my job. I highly recommend you don’t even bother calling this company. It would just be a waste of time.
sdabish1: Bill was a great guy to deal with, really nice and very quick service had my sod installed with in a few hours . Also had the best price out of 3 or four other sod companies. At first I was worried because it was such a great price but after install I realized I was almost scammed by almost three times the price by the other three companies. Shame on them. Thankfully westlake sod aren’t greedy people and take care of their customers. I will recommend to every person I know and will be a life long customer. Thank you!!!

Raj: Have new sod installed today, sod quality is great and installation was super fast, however we aren’t happy with their response and overall service. We called their office and we tried to discuss concerns or report issues, unfortunately there is no one would like to hear customer request/concerns, person who reached out to me on phone mentioned that he is owner of the company, he given just two options in an impolite manner, whether let their people finish their job or pull them out of the work and charge me for amount of time they spent, but neither he ask nor listen what my concern is. When I ask for quality check on the work they are doing at customer place, their assumption is that their people do their job well and their won’t be any problem.

Tami Vlad: About 3weeks ago I requested an in person quote to have my front yard sod removed and replaced. A week later found a blank envelope with a quote in it. This was the 7th. Reviewed it and it was wrong; called the company, discussed the quote explaining that the they quoted part of my neighbors yard not to mention just dropped it off in the mail box and didn’t bother talking to us (I work from home). I then asked for the person to come back out and redo the quote, that me and my husband wanted to walk thru the yard with him, that we were still interested. (Basically give them a chance to make the correction). The woman on the phone ultimately refused to have him come out in person to requote. Instead she said he will just update the paperwork via email. I called the 9th asking if they were going to fix the paperwork, she abruptly said it’ll get done this week. This was a over week ago and still no corrected quote.Absolutely terrible customer service from within the office and field employees who write up the quotes. Complete disregard for the potential customer and quality control. I mean honestly if I didn’t catch the error on the quote and scheduled for them to come out, they would’ve tore up part of my neighbors yard. I do not recommend.
