Adam Mickey: First, I was told they could certified service my Bissell. I took my vacuum there and they told me "we can't fix Bissell, but we can contact about warranty". It took them 2 weeks to tell me my vacuum was outside the 2-year Bissell warranty (I already knew that). They told me there was nothing they could do for me but come pick it up. Since then, I have visited this location 3 times; 3pm on a Tuesday, 2pm on a Wednesday, 4pm on a Thursday; all during normal operating hours. And the entire store was closed. Nothing on the door, didn't change the voicemail. The voicemail inbox has been full for a month. 90% of the time when I call they don't answer. I got them on the phone today, and asked 'will you be open tomorrow?' and I was told "not sure, I can't speak to that, I'm not on the schedule tomorrow'. When I asked for management contact info, I was told "Mike owns 4 stores but he's too high up, we don't have his contact info". I don't know when or if I'll ever get back my vacuum.
Piedad Mantinan: Went to the store because I couldn’t put the new bag on, was assisted immediately, great servic, found out I was using bangs from my previous vacuum, owner diagnosed the problem immediately, then turned vacuum on, but bag was not inflating,he took apart & found it was jammed with all kinds of stuff, cleaned it good & didn’t charge me a penny, great customer service, pleasant, and efficient, I give him a5 plus star!!

The gentleman that waited on us, Mike Brown, spend a lot of time with us explaining the different vacuums and service options. We are A long time customer but had stopped by because we had problems with our five year old vacuum. He explained some of the quality problems that they had at that time and remedied the situation by giving us a significant credit on the purchase of a new vacuum. Our new vacuum has service and warranty included so we’re confident that we won’t have the same problem as we did with the previous one. We were extremely happy with the entire experience and look forward to visiting the store again for additional purchases of supplies, etc. Great job!

Serena Robinson: The manager, Michael Brown, went above and beyond to accommodate me with the purchase of the vacuum cleaner I needed. I have a shack rug and a very thick carpet and padding. My traditional Vacuum cleaner, a Sebo, was very difficult to push. I decided to purchase a Miele canister to meet my need, he gave me a floor model, with a discount. This vacuum didn‘t meet my need, he returned it without a problem, didn‘t try to sell me another one instead. But I opted to try a Riccardo R 17 light weight, Michael Brown offered to exchange the brush of the vacuum with a softer brush, which he did. This vacuum work perfectly, gliding self propelled over my thick carpet and was easy to use on my shack rug. Vacuuming is no longer a physical chore but a delight. Michel Brown made this possible with his customer service.

We were looking for a cordless vacuum and really loved the Riccar cordless that was in the store. We were able to try in the store and it had great functionality and was, of course, very lightweight. We purchased that vacuum and am very pleased with the performance. Love it! So easy to use without having to deal with the cords....charge lasts for an hour. Also, very professional service..had some additional questions and they were handled very quickly and professionally. Would recommend this store and the cordless vacuum :)

When I picked up my items they gave me recommendations to keep them running well longer. They also do transfer of media from older formats to dvd or cd.

He told me what was wrong and gave me a reasonable price to fix my vacuum. I brought him another one I had that also needed repairs. He fixed that one and also found a second problem with it that he gave me a deal on. I will be going here from now on and hopefully talking with him again about his ducks that lay their eggs by his store every year. Two thumbs way up!
Chris: I brought my vacuum in because I couldn’t get it to work. They called me the next day and said that there was nothing wrong with it, that perhaps the button that controls connection to vacuum head had been pressed. This would cut off the connection. There was no charge. I completely appreciate their honesty and quick service. I am convinced that few vacuum cleaner stores would return my vacuum cleaner to me without charging me for the service. I will return to Gabriel’s for bags and filters, etc. Should I require a repair, I will definitely take my vacuum back to Gabriel’s.
Kathy Tucker: This place was exactly what I was looking for a man who could fix just about anything brought his way and that's exactly what he did my shark vacume had a cheap little clip that broke unfortunately the vacume wouldn't work without it. He searched both stores and couldn't find the piece so he put some screws in simple fix he got the job done that's all I wanted very nice guy nice place I'm handicap and on oxygen it was so easy getting in and out of his place only charge a minimal amount that was a nice surprise would recommend this place to anyone

Sandy Sylvester: I went into banks with a vacuum that hasn’t worked in a while. The man there told me I believe his name is Josh that he would take it and check it in the back, that he thinks he knew what was wrong with it by what I told him. He then went in the back and worked on it. I was watching from where I was at, and he was doing all kinds of stuff and he came out and said it works like new. I saw him vacuuming stuff up with it, and I asked him how much it was gonna cost me, and he said nothing just have a great day!I do not believe that there are still businesses out like that. The man was wonderful and the other guy Roy, I believe was their very kind. I highly recommend this place to anybody before you toss your old vacuum. I would recommend taking it in to see what’s going on. It made my whole day meeting these gentlemen.

I was buying a shark yearly from target or kohls and they would break almost always after about a year. I purchased a vacuum here and have been so impressed with the quality and the suction power. Stephanie Caimotto: Vacuum like new and great service! I took our Oreck vacuum in for a switch that had broken. I didn’t know if it could be fixed but thought I’d give it a try. Leslie naeve: I have been a Bank’s customer for 20 years and have always had great service. In 2003, upon their recommendation, we purchased out first vacuum from them. It was a bit more than we had intended to spend, but we trusted their expertise. Over the years, we have had to periodically take it in for service, but it is still going strong! They have won my trust. Yesterday, I needed to replace a stick vacuum, and I went to them for recommendations. Yet again, I was not disappointed. I happened to arrive at the same time as the owner and he kindly answered all of my questions, showed me the pros and cons of different models and I left with a purchase I am very pleased with.

I had been to Bank’s many times for sewing machine maintenance, but I really don’t like to vacuum and so I never wanted to make a solid investment in a good vacuum. I told the salesperson exactly what frustrates me about vacuuming, and exactly what I need. He asked insightful questions and set me up with the right machine for my household. My child and I received the red carpet treatment from the time we walked in until we walked out with the salesperson who loaded the purchase in the car. I can see why Bank’s has been so successful in this business for so long. I will definitely be telling my friends about our great experience.

Laurinda Ross: When my 82 year old mother went here to get her vacuum repaired she was convinced that her vacuum wasn't able to be repaired (most likely untrue). She was pressured into signing a finance agreement for an $800 vacuum. I found this out when she was unable to buy her grandchildren Christmas gifts because she now had a monthly payment for a vacuum.

Moving back to Michigan I googled Oreck found David's My Oreck Store in Rochester, my home town! The store is just as good. The stock is wonderful for large, small vacuums as well as Hepa Air Cleaners. Brandon is the clean home expert in the store. He is helpful, demonstrates how the equipment is used and cared for and always gives great deals as well as trade-ins. I highly recommend the store for all your cleaning needs!

Based on my experience at Dave’s vacuum, I would definitely say it’s 5 Star Service for me and I will highly recommend them to everyone looking to either buy a vacuum or get one repaired. They are very knowledgeable at everything vacuum and they both sell and service it. When I first got in and saw how they were helpful to the customer in front of me, I couldn’t wait to be seen. In addition to the vacuum I had that was on warranty I had brought my other 2 broken vacuums as well. In literally a few minutes, they had fixed ALL THREE!!! Safe to say that I’m extremely satisfied.

Take it home, sounds like machine guns. Took vac Back to Gabe. "I'll look at it be ready tomorrow". He says. Next day I go back. "Sorry, not fixed, I had to order a new part, be ready Friday. I'll call you". I Said "No, you won't call me". "Sure, sure, I'll call you. I have your #". I say "Well, you haven't called me yet, have you?" "No really" he says "I'll call you". Two days later was Friday. I call Him. Store is closed.WHAT? WHAT? How many people do you know who enjoy living in squalor?

Frank Fortuna: I took a cordless Shark Navigator there. It won't stay on. Sometimes not go on at all. At first they said might be the battery. They didn't try to take apart or do anything to it. Saying that they never worked on one of those before. I used multimeter to test the battery before bringing it. It's 14v fully charged. I brought it there because I thought that were professionals.
Scott Poniedzialek: Very slow working time. They have had our 2 carpet cleaners for 5 days and was told they would be fixed in 2. My wife owns a cleaning company and has had to cancel clients due to their lack of speed. Once we aquire the carpet cleaners we will definitely not be returning. I'll just watch a YouTube video and fix them like I did last time

Needed a new tank for my Kirby shampoo system and bought a great used one here that was even cheaper than the used ones on ebay. Nothing fancy about this place , just good honest service and repairs. There are shops closer to home but always worth the drive for service or used parts for Kirby or other high end vacuums.

Pamela Buschmohle: Brought two vacuum's in for repair estimates - one needed a new plug the other a small 6 inch belt. I was told he would look them over and call with an estimate. I had to call him to ask if he had looked at them and was told they were all finished and the cost would be $68.00 !!!! He made re[pairs that I did not even ask for or approve - threw the bag out which did not need replacing and also had something inside that I was going to retrieve when the bag needed replaced. Very disappointed in paying for repairs I did not authorize and him throwing away a bag I did not ask to be replaced.

Linda valice: Just took my vintage Bernina 117-K in to replace the missing belt. The owner figured out the correct size and installed the belt for me. He had to remove the handwheel to do so, and gave her a bit of a spa treatment - he said since he had the flywheel off, he might as well oil her up. What a gem. I'll be back for sure.
