Cody Rowan: If I had the option to give 10 stars I gladly would! My fiancé and I had the best experience here! We both were interested in learning a few ballroom/waltz steps for our wedding and neither of us had any previous experience but Anna was amazing, she made us both feel so comfortable and confident on the dance floor. My fiancé and I have been attending weekly lessons for 6 months now and have already learned basic and advanced combos in several styles including swing, west coast swing, salsa, tango, merengue, bachata and foxtrot dancing. Caryn Ruzich: My 30 something daughter danced at TMSOD from the age of 3 until 17. Beings a part of something, 'teamwork', went a long time in teaching her so much more than just dance.Now, almost 30 years later, her girls are dancing & into competition. I couldn't be happier. I strongly believe in keeping your kids busy in an attempt to keep them out of trouble. And yes TMSOD is that ticket. that ticket just that ticket.

I have seen other recitals and even visited another school that a friend of mine taught at and it in no way compared. The staff is great the people are great and I can not say enough how much my girls have learned .
STACEY HEMELBERG: Small school but the kids seem to like it. Their competition team is "very competitive and always "the team to beat" per a mother whose daughter attends a different school.

Ashley T.: Wonderful first dance lesson here a couple weeks ago! My fiancé and I are learning a waltz for our first dance as husband and wife for our wedding in a couple of months. My fiancé was dragging his feet prior to our lesson due to a precious bad experience elsewhere. Curtis, the owner, blew us out of the water! He was extremely genuine, funny, and easy to talk to and learn from which my fiancé especially appreciated. We had so much fun that we can’t wait to come back for our additional lessons and my fiancé actually enjoys dancing now!!!
Alan Fiorillo: I took lessons from Allison, she is a top-shelf dancer. She took her time, she was very patient with me. I will return, very enjoyable, and good exercise. A top-shelf studio, for anybody to enjoy.

kathryn peters: If you are looking for a ballroom dance studio that teaches you more than just the steps and more how to truly dance, then this is the place to go! All of the staff and dancers are so very pleasant. They are very patient, informative, high energy and love to dance. Curtis is the owner as well as an instructor. He pushes you to be better than you were the class before and never compares you to others. They work with the skills, or lack there of, that you have to bring out the ballroom dancer in you. They are not just about selling lessons and making money, they are about the love of dance. Hope to see you there!

Renee Campbell: I give this studio 5 stars! The staff there goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Everyone there is very nice. Our instructor Erik, is very patient with my husband and me. We are new to dance lessons and Erik finds a way to keep it light and fun. We look forward to coming in each week for our new lesson. They have a lot of activities that involve dancing and socializing.

Megan Carson: I was introduced to Elegance in Motion through Oakland University's ballroom dance club. The atmosphere at the studio is always welcoming and fun. The group lessons during the week make the private lessons a great deal, and are also good for learning a new move or two. All of the instructors are super friendly and knowledgable!
