Jimmy I: I would NOT recommend. I booked this hotel through Priceline. The Manager GQ is very very nice. The hotel was the worst hotel you can possibly stay at. Look at the pictures I post. It speaks for its self. Shower did not work. No electricity. The have a no pets sign on the door but they 100% allowed dogs. The smell of marijuana through the rooms.

I was in immediate contact with the employees following their discovery. I caught one And put it in a cup so i was able to show staff. They seemed indifferent after I caught one. I took it to the front desk to show the manager. The staff said no managers were working. Then refused to look at the BED BUG I HAD CAUGHT AND PUT in a cup. I filled out A form that was going to lead to a resolution, but it has been ignoredI have to sterilize everything that was brought with me and attempt to keep it out of my home. Jo Singleton: We got a handicap assessable room it was disgusting. The room has mold, water damage, and the floors were so dirty!!!!! Our room key constantly doesn’t work. What’s scarier is that when you go to the desk to get a new key they don’t ask for ID or a name for who’s in the room, they just give you a new key. This is our third and LAST time staying at a Days Inn. We’ve stayed at 2 separate locations in the Detroit area while visiting in-laws. Both were terrible. We thought if we went further out they would be better. Wyndham should be ashamed having this location under their brand.

Jonas Marshall: I booked at this hotel because I was from out of town. I was allowed to book with my temporary papers with my face on it as well. I had an amazing stay. So I rebooked the hotel for a later date. They claim they can't take it and turned me away. I was stuck with nowhere to go and have to wait since I booked through a third party to get my money back.The room was renovated and I can say I had no problems with the room.
Stacey Collins: If I could rate it zero I would. Customer service has gone way down. Very rude and unprofessional. Management allows it. I will never recommend this place to anyone. They have roaches and bed bugs. Management won’t check into any complaint. The rooms are super dusty and dirty. The toilets are broken. The pop machine is always empty. It took my money and the person at the front desk walked away in the middle of the complaint. This place is trashed and if it had an inspection it would be shut down.

I’ve never been to an establishment in my life I’ve been to 1000 hotels for work if you call and ask for something, I don’t care who you are the management employee whoever is supposed to come to your service not tell you to come to the front desk. Mark Thompson: This hotel should be torn down and rebuilt. The place says smoke free however hallways smell like a 90s dive bar. The floors are uneven and move under your feet. The floors in the room are the same. The room was 80% clean and the bed was the best feature of the whole room and stay. It was not worth $70 for the night I stayed there. I would never take my kids here.

Thadine Kazmer: We stayed here with our cat while our floors were being refinished. The suite with a door between the bedroom and living room was great . The hotel is a little older and shows some wear but all in all was very nice and all the staff we met were very pleasant. It was a bit over the top noisy with parties on Friday nights but by 1 AM things settled down. I guess that has to be expected. I would stay again, that they allow up to 2 pets is a real plus.

Molly Percet: NEVER will I stay with this brand of a hotel ever again—the worst hotel experience of my life. I felt so UNSAFE. If you are a woman traveling alone, DO NOT stay here.I booked this room through hotwire because of the lower rate. There was a mix-up with the name on my reservation which complicated check-in. This was not the hotel's fault. However, the way the hotel handled it was horrible.I don't know if the manager was new, but she was pretty useless. I don't know if the hotel has a general policy of lousy customer service or just bias towards specific customers.Hotwire corrected the reservation issue fairly quickly, and I finally got to my room. A strange person walks straight into my room twice within 5 minutes using the keycard. I called the front desk to discuss my safety and the lackluster customer service. Next, I spoke to the manager, Heather Sancrowicz, and again she was useless.The manager told me the only people with master keys to the room were hotel staff, but her staff wouldn't enter my room unannounced. So, if it wasn't hotel staff who entered my room twice?After my complaint, the front desk started calling my room every 15 minutes, allowing the phone to ring only once before hanging up. At this point, I unplugged the phone, put the extra locks on my door, and pushed the recliner seat against the door till I checked out. I was scared and disappointed with the hotel's lack of accountability.The employee's goals were to make me feel unsafe, unwanted, and harassed. They succeed. I was too nervous to sleep. The most frustrating part is that I paid for this horrendous treatment. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Please take my warning and stay elsewhere.
Drew Montgomery: Room 243 is completely infested with ants and flying ants. Im disappointed of the fact out of all rooms, they put me in this particular room that's infested. I feel like I've been setup. I couldn't even sleep at night with them flying around. And I used my loyalty points to only stay for 2 nights and this is the kind of service I get for being an elite member customer. I should get a refund but I know they're too stingy to do that. I won't be coming back here again.

Marissa Bolden: Hotel was very disgusting it was trash under my refrigerator and my air conditioner. I asked the front desk receptionist to have housekeeping come clean it, he said yes but no housekeepers ever came to clean it. I booked a king suite and the next morning when I tried to go get breakfast they said it wasn’t apart of my stay so I had to pay to eat breakfast, which is very unusual because I thought free breakfast came with your stay just like every other hotel does, so that was very weird. Their pool also closes at 9 so me and my spouse couldn’t even go for a late night swim even though we paid damn near $200 to stay in a king suite for one night. Last but not LEAST, the receptionists were so rude and didn’t care to accommodate me and my spouse requests. I usually love coming to hotels but because of my experience here I won’t be staying at another hotel for a while. So no swimming, no breakfast and my room was horrible. I truly regret staying here and if I could give this place negative stars I would. I literally would rather stay in a Red Roof Inn than stay at this horrible hotel. Please PICK ANOTHER HOTEL I BEG OF YOU.

Kris Amber: Came for a night away. The hotel is nice, needs some updates. I came during a city power outage so the hotel was booked up. My hallway smelled the whole night. Bathroom is very small. You have to make a $100 deposit which deposit are understandable but I’ve gone to nicer places and paid less in a deposit. Question would I come again, probably if I wasn’t paying or the price dropped.

A: Alright so I am actually quite surprised this hotel has just over 4 stars as a rating. I’m going to cut to the point of the positives and the negative I’ve experienced while staying here. First off, I had to switch the key card to my room a total of 5 times while staying here for 2 nights. They just randomly stop working and was forced to go to the front desk and get new ones each time. Next, the ice bin in the room was filled with used tissues from the previous people staying in the room. The bathroom has no ventilation so it gets super foggy while showering or even no exhaust when using the toilet. The bathroom also had a broken lock and and broken faucet in the bathtub. Not to mention the sink being outside of the bathroom and the one I had specifically had a faulty drain so it took a while for the water to go down. Woke up the first morning of my stay early since the lady at the front desk told us there was complimentary breakfast. Wrong. You have to pay for it. Not sure why I was told “complimentary”. The hallways seemed a little dirty on our floor as garbage would rarely be picked up off the ground. My room was not serviced once during my visit with no house keeping at all. No fresh sheets or fresh towels. Although I ran into issues, I will say the staff is polite and provide good customer service which is why I give 2 starts instead of 1.

Krystal Andrzejewski: Stayed with my daughter and a few friends for her birthday. Worst experience. We checked in late. The guy at the front desk Said he would keep the pool open a little longer for us to enjoy. That wasn’t the case. We were also told complimentary breakfast between 6-9am. NOPE! I had to call the front desk several times because the room next to us had a bunch of children screaming. I didn’t know if they were hurt or if there was a responsible adult. They were shaking our walls at 2-3 o’clock in the morning. The best they could do was knock of $20 for our experience. We couldn’t even get a roll away bed when we were told we would have one in our room. When we asked about it they acted like they didn’t know what a Cot was. This place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. Worst experience ever!!!! Don’t come here.

Essence Pearson: I would love to give this hotel less than 1 star, my family and I were supposed to stay at this hotel but we have Covid. This hotel still charged us for one night. I called to speak to the manger (Kylee) who told me I should’ve left work to take a test earlier. Kylee needs to be trained on customer service if she’s going work in the hospitality industry, their was NOTHING hospitable about this rude, uneducated manager.

Jermaine White: Don't like the customer service, myself and a guest was staying there for a night my guest went to check in while I park it was around 9:50 ish pm and the doors lock at 10 which is stated on the door but it wasn't 10pm yet doors was locked and the lady didn't want to let me in she said I should have the key but I never made it in to get the key my guest was just calling me as im at the door going back and forward to tell me that I should hurry cause the doors lock at 10 I told her im at the door now and can't get in without the key. So moral of the story do better with customer service if you post a time on the door honor it!

Teeya Wells: The rooms were semi clean and the manager is super racist. She treat people of color and minorities bold. I had my 13 & 14 year old daughter with me. I left them at the room and ran to Walmart they ask housekeeping for towels because they got out the pool she told them to grab some of the cart & they was accused of harassing housekeeping and stealing things off the cart & the manager called the police on them because she called the room and assumed I was not there when my daughter answered the phone. We were evicted out of the hotel for no reason 30 mins later as well as they charged my debit card and credit card both $160 for incidentals as well as two different $30 payments they can’t explain. I will never go there again and wouldn’t recommend it if you have kids it isn’t kid friendly nor minority friendly.
Sarah Lynn: Update 3/8/23 stayed Feb 23-25 and booked and paid through Orbitz. They charged my card again for the room but gave me a receipt stating I owe $0. Still having a hard time getting my money back. NEVER again will I deal with this hotel!! Check in took a long time! Lobby is nice. Walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the rooms next to you! Every phone conversation, every tv show watched. Bad crowd here now. Lots of yelling and fighting.Wouldn’t come back.

Heather Durham: The rooms were clean, BUT MANAGEMENT on afternoon shift was a joke, let employee talk to customer anyway and even over spoke customer. Then when you address Assistant Manager LEAH she had NO EMPATHY and said we dont have to service you.... LIKE REALLY we have no power and your response for your employees conduct was we dont have to service you!!! Leah you should not have the title you have, you should never work in customer service ever! If this is what MARRIOT has for customer service I WILL NEVER COME BACK! SHE AND THE OTHER SUPERVISOR IS A JOKE! Oh dont make me go into the racial remark you said also!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED AND SADDENED. I called corp, and hopefully district manager will be calling! Lazetta Elliott: At the location I made a reservation on line for a few family members coming in town the weekend of February 4th , for my mother’s 80th birthday celebration I got a rate $98.00 using my Government Discount, well when my family got there to check in they was told I needed to bring my Id in which I know that I called and the attendant said as long as I bring it by the time they check out it would be okay so on Sunday morning around 8:00 am I go and presented my ID (I am currently an Government employee and have be for 27 years) to the front desk to the Manager on duty and I was told very ruldly that it was not going to be honored because I was not an active member of the arm forces, This my first time ever experiencing this at a Marriott and I always had my Government discount honored, I explained to her that I had never heard of this she said oh well very rude that is is the policy at that location now that ment it was a $70.00 difference for each room from what I told my family 😂 so this meant that I felt obligated to pay the $70.00 difference per room I was quoted a rate of $ 98.00 per room online quote so I had to pay $140.00 because I had two rooms, I asked her to help me with any other discount because I didn’t know that policy changes from Hotle to Hotle she said very rude there was no other discount or waverer , and she was not gonna honor the online rate the was the front desk manager on duty on February 5th, I will not be going back to that location or will I recommended any one else her customer service was unbelievable, rude nasty and just unconcerned 😂 She needs to be fired !!!

Camisha Brown: This Holiday Inn Express was simple great!I gave it a five starts for everything truly. The staff was very nice and professional. The breakfast was really good and honestly the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel stay. Location was right off the highway numerous food places around in walking distance was a huge bonus.Doors lock after a certain time so not anyone can just enter the hotel at night. (room key card needed to gain access back) was pretty nice feature for safety.Hotel was clean, room was spacious and clean, walls were a bit thin and could hear other families in their rooms but nothing too drastic. The cleaning ladies were amazing.The meeting rooms were spacious as it held 3 teams in there comfortably.Billy was phenomenal!!Rooms: Spacious rooms.Thin walls.Super clean.Microwave + Mini Fridge + Coffee Maker w/Cups + Ice Bucket.Safety: Safety Feature - Locked front doors after a certain time. Tal: Clean hotel. Check-in was made super easy and fast by Billy. And check-out was just as fast (I didn’t catch the young womans name sorry!). Only thing was our room wasn’t clean each morning. I was there for 3 nights. My last day the cleaning lady knocked on my door, but I was about to head out so she said she’d come back in an hour as I requested. I was out all day and when I arrived back at my hotel my room was like cleaned or fresh sheets or towels were not provided. However the gentlemen at the front desk that night was very quick and nice to give me new sheets and towels when I asked. Overall, no issues. Area has plenty of food joints, gas station and close to the highway.

Ashley Hill: I decided to stay here due to a state wide power outage. I booked through a third party and when I arrived I checked in with the General Manager Marcus. He was very professional and polite and made the check in process easy. Billy who is the Front Office Manager was also very professional and helpful with the check out process... The hotel is located right off the express way which is convenient and accessible to locate businesses in the area. Ashley Jackson: I was in the area for work. The shower and sink had not been cleaned in my room. There was hair everywhere. The alarm clock in the room went off at 4:45am every morning even when I shut it off. I had stayed 4 days and the night before I checked out someone broke into my car. They didn’t get anything valuable but when I let the hotel know about it they said there were no cameras outside the building and security was only around on the weekends. Very disappointed in the service I received when I reported to the hotel manager. This place is not safe!

Rahmaan Thomas: We stay at Marriott whenever we travel as we are Marriott owners. However, this particular hotel does not follow the complimentary upgrade that is possible with our ownership level. As we do not have the top level. Only the Platinum and Titanium get an upgrade. Which is wrong on so many levels but I digress. On top of that they charge a $100 security deposit that will be increasing soon. Which should be on their website just like some charge for parking and someone can make the best decision possible with the available information. Probably won't return to this hotel due to this things. I understand that some are franchises and that fine but we will probably not be back. Also vent was broke in bathroom and you could barely breathe with shower on. I have attempted to contact the manager several times over the last couple of days. I keep being told the manager is not there but comes in at 9am. Called several times throughout the day and manager was not in. I also have not received any call back either. Also breakfast was not very good either. That should definitely get worked on. We stayed on a Saturday and checked out Sunday. It is now Wednesday and no call and have not been able to get ahold of the manager that supposedly comes in at 9am. Employees acted like you were bothering them. I asked for 2 additional towels as my family has 4 people. I was given the third degree just asking for towels. I had to repeat myself several times that there were only 2 towels in room and I had 2 children as well. The person at the front desk wanted the used towels first before giving anymore. Finally after about 5 minutes she went and got one towel. I had to again request another towels. She then went and got another.
Kendo That Video Ninja: Location advertisers as family-friendly. One hour after check-in we were told if we cannot contain our two-year-old son we would have to leave. Also advertisers as a smoke-free property. Every time we came in and out of the main entrance there was at least two people smoking. Due to an ice storm we were without power at our house for several days. Hotels stays we're our only option so we figure rent a hotel that is family friendly. At one point we checked in with the front desk to make sure we were being as quiet as possible and the front desk receptionist said maybe you should just keep him in the crib for your stay which only ended up being two days. Several times we mentioned to the front desk that people were smoking at the doors and we were ignored. The floors in our rooms look like they were very lightly ran over with a vacuum still hairs and crumbs all over the place and leftover confetti from what looks to be Valentine's Day which was a week prior. Everything below waist level witch is all in child's reach looked like it had not been wiped down and weeks. I travele 4 months out of the year for work and when I'm out alone I rent pretty cheap hotels when we are out as a family we always rent nicer rooms and for the price of this room it does not meet up to standards. I would strongly not recommend this hotel if you are looking for anything over 3 stars and or family-friendly. This is only a two star mid-level hotel at best. I hope my review is found useful to everyone.
Mistee Merritt: My experience at the TownPlace Suites by Marriott overall was pleasant.I was recently injured and needed a place to rest during this difficult time. I called ahead to reserve a room for myself. I SPOKE WITH Alyssa, who was the front desk receptionist. She was very polite and helpful over the phone so I booked one night. Upon arriving I was greeted immediately by a smiling receptionist who turned out to be Alyssa.I was in a lot of pain because of my injuries. Alyssa was very understanding and quickly moved through the process of checking in.The room came with a small kitchenette. Which was great! I was able to store food for my stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I felt so comfortable there that I booked two more nights. I was able to get the rest I needed and left refreshed. Breakfast was set out on time every morning and there was a good variety of items to choose from.The overall look of the hotel and amenities were good. I can't speak of the surroundings or nearby shopping as I didn't leave my room much. Although the hotel seems to be going through renovation, which Alyssa confirmed was happening it did not affect my stay ( I did not have a renovated room). I booked this hotel to rest and reset. I was able to do just that. I can't wait to see the new renovation.A huge thanks to manager Heather who was able to correct an error made. I was overcharged but Heather apologized and quickly rectified that problem. Overall my stay was pleasant and I would consider booking again in the future. As a person who works in customer service, I give them 5 stars for great customer service!

The room was nice in size, clean, and cozy. There was a full kitchen complete with dishware and utensils. There were a few mold spots in the tub. The breakfast was not what I expected though, I thought everything has been returned from Covid days. I didn't care for the egg souffle, the bagel was okay, and the tea options were limited. Most of the options were black tea. I did not visit the pool or the fitness area. The outside grounds were kept very well too. I would recommend this to my clients! As a licensed travel advisor, I enjoy visiting without letting them know I am checking it out to sale!

Free gym and pool is great, even if they are not very big, usefull enough for the basics. Building is kind of old. If you like modern style hotels this is not your place.
