Kathy Szczepanski: In the past month, we’ve dined in once and carried out twice. The dine in experience was a very good one from food to the service. I was more impressed by carry out. We do take out a lot. Invariably, there’s something missing. Not at Red Olive. Spot on! And a small touch but they wrap dressings, soup, anything leakable in plastic wrap. Takes extra time but little things mean a lot. I’m gonna be a regular!

The daft waitress served me a tossed salad with croutons when I had already said I can't eat anything with gluten in it. She forgot? I said, "It ruins the salad." Maddy Contesti: Wow! I thought I knew where the best chicken shawarma was in Detroit but I was wrong; it’s without a doubt Boff’s! I was suggested this place by a friend in Bay City that will specifically drive to come eat here. Not only we’re my mother and I offered a sample but the pricing, kindness and quality is outstanding. Don’t be fooled by the outside, it looks like a meat market but there is seating, a clean bathroom and it’s pretty open!

Todays Present: My new favorite Mediterranean restaurant! The guys working at the restaurant and the store had great customer service. They have the Northern Michigan seasonings and pasties that have been hard to find around here. The market has a nice selection of turkey chops, crab, lobster and even rabbit. The restaurant has funky selections of drinks. The tawook chicken was our favorite. The chicken cream chops and lamb chops are pretty good. The chicken and lamb shawarmas were so tender. I highly recommend this restaurant and market!

Crystal Jankiewicz: The food here was always good… when it’s right. Sadly, I wont be patronizing this restaurant any longer. The last three times I was here what I recieved was not what i’d ordered. Once they replaced my sandwich with a different one because they were out of something without checking with or informing me at all. I live in Detroit and coming back right away isn’t always an option. They are rude over the phone (I’ve been hung up on when I’d call to try to fix a mistake) and not at all helpful with refunds or fixing their own errors. My advice, if you order carry out, please make sure you check that everything is correct and there before you leave.

Felicia Nguyen: I love this place. A whole family can eat for under $40. They always give you fresh bread! The portions are generous and everything taste so fresh. I have started coming here every other week. Try their deboned chicken- chargrilled chicken with rice, salad, and bread. You will definitely have leftovers.

My pre req requirements are bread and toum need to be included with my meal. It comes off as cheap if the restaurant charges separately for toum/bread with the meal. Second, the bread needs to be freshly cooked, if it’s plain cold pita bread. That’s insanely cheap on the restaurants part.Non of that was the case, my hummus with chicken entree was cooked perfectly. The bread was nice and warm, the toum was perfect and was also included with the meal. I will definitely be back to oasis and will continue to support this restaurant.
