Pranav Chandrasekaran: Rude Customer Service. The Teller guy doesn’t even know what the fees are for an account. He literally told me that there would be no transaction fee charged for a withdrawal. But turns out there will be charge for every transaction from my account. Please train your employees.

Abdulaziz Ozden: I had a terrible experience with K.K at CIBC Business Banking. I approached him to open a business account for a borrowing application and submitted all the necessary documents during our first meeting, over a month and a half ago. However, Kiran failed to handle the process effectively. He never asked for any additional documents, because I had submitted everything that was required.Despite his assurances that he would get back to me, Kiran never responded to my inquiries. I sent him multiple emails to seek updates on my account, but he always had excuses like being off or sick or needing to talk to the manager. This has been going on for almost two months now, and there has been no progress in my application process.Kiran's lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to follow up on promises have caused me significant delays and frustration. I would not recommend Kiran or CIBC Business Banking based on this disappointing experience.

He resolved our problems quickly and advised professionally. We give this 5 Stars for only Given Kumako's friendly and professional services he has provided at the branch to us. But when the line is at a consistent 7+ people long, shouldn't there be more than 3 bank tellers?

And they are saying that my next disbursement will be on 18 th March. This is insan so technically I should get GIC disbursement by 18 th of feb. But because of they mistake in putting issue date on form i am getting late payment and as a student I need money to survive. Scotia is way better than CIBC when it comes to GIC account.

Good Afternoon: Absolutely, unequivocally positively a bad bank with awful everything. Management is terrible, they are there to maximize the banks profits, not there for you or to help you. The tellers forget about it, they're rude ignorant and as usless "people". I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF THIS BANK IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY BECAUSE THEY WILL TRY AND GET IT EVERY SINGLE CHANCE THEY GET. And again, the employees are the meanest rudes most awful inttled POS's on this planet. HEY CIBC IT'S MY MONEY, MY MONEY NOT YOURS. I CAN'T WAIT TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT DOWN. The advisor in the bank said it was a mistake and for no reason she was giving unnecessary advises and did not listen to us.

Diana Myny: Would give zero stars if possible. As many have said, poorly managed regarding tellers available. This branch does MANY foreign cash transactions, which often seem to take at least 20 minutes, so there should ALWAYS be two tellers available, or at least other banking personnel who could step in and do deposits or bill payments. Today my 86 year old mother, who has health issues, had to wait more than one hour in line as there was only one teller working and two people who were doing foreign cash transactions were over 30 minutes. This has happened on several occasions (although "only" 30 to 40 minute wait then). Pretty sure my mom will be another customer to leave this bank (yes, bank, not just branch).

Bruce Kubinec: Went in yesterday, extremely slow service .1 person ahead of me and 2 tellers working . The person ahead of me took almost 10 minutes , the other teller still had the person there when i left … talking about their vacation they just got back , while customers just waited in line . No rush here … when i finally got to the teller she was easily able to tell i was annoyed and purposely took her time to make it longerrrr….. had to bring over the branch manager asking me why i wanted to withdraw $2100.00. His reaponse was thats alot of money , and thought i was pulling a scam . Unbelievable.Didn’t apologize or anything after . Need to switch banks in the future if transactions are going to take this long . I would hate to be there when the place is busy
Ibraheem Rana: I was up early in the morning and decided to finally renew my broken debit card at this CIBC. I walked in and was kindly greeted by an elder lady named Wendy.She was helpful with all of my demand's though quite timely, however, I realized she was more so thorough and did not move forward until every nook and cranny has been dealt with.I asked Wendy if she could possibly modify my name uniquely for my new debit card (which I’ve done before at the Devonshire CIBC). She claimed it wasn’t possible. “You cannot modify your debit card to any other name than your government name” said Wendy.It may be a recent rule, though I would’ve liked it.I definitely felt most comfortable at this CIBC than other ones.

Jerky B: The most pointless bank to ever be a part of. I’ve had nothing but problems with this institution since the day I opened an account with them. They have held western union money orders for 5 days (9 days in actuality) and yes these were normal business days. I’ve tried to use a bank statement to renew my health card as that is a form of document service Ontario accepts as proof of address but they don’t print out statements with an address on them. Which means a bank statement is pretty much pointless. I’m in the process of switching banks. I don’t advise anyone to use this bank as they take service charges from you but don’t really do anything in return that is beneficial to you as a customer. I don’t know if all cibc is like this but I don’t recommend doing business with them. Horrible bank!

At the direction of CIBC's customer service, we walked in to this location to do so -- but we definitely should have made an appointment. Nevertheless, Patti Jolliffe made time to take care of us despite being busy. She waived our account and wire fees, and offered to waive check fees when we order them. A couple weeks later, she spoke with us via phone about some cross-border financial planning. She was forthright about what she knew and didn't know, and offered to put us in touch with someone knowledgeable on the finer points. I feel like we picked a good bank and have had great customer service so far!

j Burrow: So went in to speak to an FSR about something that would take 10 minutes was met by the very friendly greeter who is always happy to ask what I need but is never able to really help, I used to work for CIBC so I know coming in unannounced the chances of someone being available was hit or miss i get it … when i asked how many fsrs they had available the very friendly (but useless) lady said “1”…. this is a south windsor branch …. one of the (if not the most) well off area in windsor and you’re telling me you have 1 FSR to handle the needs of the entire branch on any given day ? from my time there i could tell you a good FSR can take 5-6 appointments a day depending on the nature of the appointment … whoever is the district manager i’ll give ya some advice, maybe take an fsr from ottawa and moy or wyandotte in riverside or any branch that is in the 4th quartile and is a lost cause and send them over to help good lord 1 FSR is completely unacceptable for a south windsor branch or any branch for that matter send some reinforcements to help and do your job your leaving your branch out to dry here and eliminate the greeter position, “helping the line” should mean more then redirecting people to the ATM for a deposit many peoplehave change which makes the offer useless, there should be FSRs to help the line not a greeter that’s for wal mart not a bank. all banks care about is quarterly numbers and bonuses on the retail level nothing more don’t pretend otherwise

I definitely won't be going through with any account for any business.
