Hobby Mom of 7: My entire order was incorrect, got to the window handed a donut did not order a donut. I ordered two preztels toasted with butter, one large vanilla latte with oat milk and one medium vanilla latte with whipped cream. I handed the donut back, he said you ordered a vanilla donut. Said no I ordered a medium vanilla latte. Then he hands me the two pretzels I did order and says I refunded "your" donut! Hands me the large vanilla latte with oat milk and asked what I was waiting on, I said the medium vanilla latte the order taker is in the back ground she did not order two pretzels she did not order a medium vanilla latte. At this point I just never mind, he gets an attitude and said you started with the attitude. Not once did I raise my voice or get angry just asked for what I had ordered. Will not go there again lesson learned. And the icing on top the Latte they did give was missing the vanilla yay 0-4!

MJC is the best. The quality you get rivals high end custom home builders but without custom home builder prices. Process always seems to go smoothly. Tim Woychowski: The people I worked with during and after the construction of my condo were all great. They were quick to respond and were always able to answer my questions. The quality of some material's and work done was not very good though. When paint was picked I did not realize they were going to spray everything including the ceiling. So may entire place is the light gray color I picked rather than a bright white ceiling. The painters were very sloppy too with many areas missed or just not done well. Lots of areas where paint was spotted on the floor. The drywall has many many issues. Kitchen cabinets have a lot of flaws and not set proper. The upgraded carpet still to this day has whiskers that pop out and nail strips that catch your feet. The garage looks like a dungeon with the one light it has. The electric water heater is terrible and will not fill a bath tub before running cold. Also with it being a condo I don't know why they don't spec a quieter garage door opener (there are many quiet ones on the market)Service:Home building

Mike Smith: Been stewing on this one for awhile. Sales person was great. Can’t say the same for the audit team that resolves build issues under warranty. Upon purchase we were asked to immediately report “big” issues for repair and keep an running list, using the provided notebook, of all the small things that need to be repaired…and at the 11 month mark, call the warranty repair contact person to come out and review/repair. I only had maybe 2-3 things but the one in question was a cracked chandelier. We saw it day 1 but considered it small since it was a minor chip. We were ok waiting the year and having them replace just the one bulb shroud. The guy looks at it and firmly says “we can’t replace that, you guys chipped this.”….I honestly didn’t even know where to start because I was 1. Baffled by the dismissal. 2. How do you begin unfolding that line of reasoning to someone who you know isn’t going to hear an ounce of rebuttal, especially given the response. 3. The immediate adrenaline spike due to anger….after we were given specific instructions to handle it this way. He talked around by saying he would have classified this as a big concern and reported right away. I just asked him to leave and didn’t even bother. I’ll never buy MJC again and I hope no one else ever does either.

Bella Gizmo: I lived in an apartment/condo built by MJC. I was the first occupant in this unit. Construction had just finished. In the 2 years that I lived there, it became painfully obvious that the used the cheapest materials they could. It felt like there was absolutely no insulation installed. I had water come through the ceiling from a roof leak, AC broke down, furnace broke down and neither of these appliances were sufficient to heat the residence at all. The fireplace heater looked nice but that stopped working as well. You could hear everything your neighbors were doing. I honestly could not believe this was new construction. I've since moved and am getting ready to possibly have a new home built. I will make sure it's not these guys.

Sue Irishgirl: I worked with Maria at MJC Monarch Estates and Richard was the construction lead. Both were excellent to work with to get the new home constructed during an extremely challenging time (covid and supply chain issues). MJC honored the pricing per the contract that was signed. I at times had sticker shock over some of my selections, but both Maria and Richard were patient with some of my not so timely decisions. I would say that their lighting supplier and their counter top company I didn't have the best experience with. Eventually the owner of the lighting company made things right with the timing of the order. The girl I worked with at the counter place, sold my preferred selection out from under me and told me a week before the deadline so I was scrambling. I had to go with my 2nd choice. The girl he tried to convince me that the 2nd choice was the slab I picked, even though I had photos of the first and second choice selections, she continued to argue with me over it. The countertop itself was fabricated well though, so no complaints with the end results. I already had one warranty item and MJC responded quickly and went above and beyond to fix the issue (thanks to Richard!). Overall it was a good experience. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the location of the air conditioning unit in the back of the house. MJC put it in a very awkward spot where the patio will go and I will probably have to pay someone to move the unit. I had to deduct one star over that. Otherwise it was a very positive process working with MJC.

I drive 20 minutes and bypass several other Tim's so I can visit this one on Fridays. The staff is beyond friendly. You walk in and every race and walk of life is in there. Doesn't matter, white, black, yellow, rich, poor, in between. You will be hated with a smiling face, the entire mixed staff works together like a fine tuned machine. I leave this place on Fridays with the though that there just may be hope for humanity yet. This place is such a perfect example of how everyone should treat each other. I know this review is a little deep, but I honestly love the feeling I have when I walk out of this place. Spent 28 years in food service so I know what I'm talking about. Whoever runs this place is simply doing a great job.

Litisha: I always forget, if you don't ask for light butter on your bagel, they literally slab on a whole container full of butter on your bagel.
