I became disappointed with all the corporate pharmaceutical business, Sam and abe have it right, they have taken care of my community, please continue doing what we need!! When my father was alive they delivered always made him feel better, eather with a hand shake or a very nice greeting and made his purchase a pleasure. Glen Jansheski: On February 4th 2022 My wife and I both went to Abe'sTo get a covid test for upcoming honeymoon On February 7th. I went in the morning and my wife went several hours later. We were both told We should have the results within 24 hours or even sooner But we also realized that it may take up to 2 days. My wife got hers the very next morning. I waited All day Saturday And did not get any results. I also waited until about 4 on Sunday February 6th. finally went to Abe's to inquire about my results. The pharmacy was closed And the lady who was working told me not to worry and I should have them shortly because the lab doesn't do the tests in the order they were taken. After waiting as long as I could I had to go by a nearby urgent care and get a rapid test for clearance to get into Aruba we were leaving at 530 am on 2/7. That test cost $150. So here I am on 2/8/22 and still no results.Abe's is always friendly and helpful when I go there but this is something that should be addressed for future customers. I normally don't complain but this caused me great stress and almost cost me my honeymoon trip. Hopefully this doesn't happen to others.Update as of 2/13/22 - still no test results from Abes after 8 days.....
Mary Jane: I called to ask about getting a rapid test after my doctor said his office ran out and could only do a PCR test. So I called Abe’s pharmacy to find out if I could get a same day rapid test and they said PCR tests are free but rapid tests are $100. The explanation given was that rapid tests aren’t covered by insurance but when I relayed the info to my doctor’s office, they said that didn’t sound right bc they are covered. I’m sure there could be a logical explanation but considering they’re newer to this area and I don’t see many other places advertising that they’re charging $100 for rapid tests, it feels like a slap in the face to the community that helped launch their success. It feels a little predatory in my opinion and would love to hear an explanation bc I do really like the ppl there and I don’t want to believe that they’d gouge the community in a crisis. It just seems illogical that a PCR test would cost less than a rapid test since PCRs have to be sent out to a lab to be processed and rapids don’t.
athena foster: My husband came in for c-19 testing. In and out service, results within 24 hours.Zero complaints from us!! I would say this will be our go to if we have any future reasons to be tested.If they were a bit closer I would most likely use this pharmacy for all my prescriptions etc.

Leigh Benigni: Abe's at 12 and Schoenherr offers walk-in Covid testing. The PCR test is free with results in 24-48 hours. The rapid test is $100 (only reason for one star). We were there maybe 30 minutes from sign-in to leaving. So thankful to have this as an option. Staff was very friendly and patient.

The pharmacist there also is extremely rude, I asked him to bring me my felodipine and dexedrine and he gave me a very rude stare, and threw my prescription on the counter very aggressively, I also counted it at home and he gave the incorrect pill amount! Avoid this place please for your own sake.

Shayan: This place is great. Matin always helps out as much as he can! He only charges his cost of the medicine if your insurance does not cover it. Also, he does deliveries for free for people who are sick or are unable to get their medications.

Ak S: Head manager matin has quite the attitude and I would give this pharmacy 0 start but that isn’t possible. Worst service, they say 15-30 mins to wait but it ends up being 1-2 hours. The other staff are great but the head manager is hard to deal with. Choose another local pharmacy, trust me.

ChiMakwa Prettyboy: I requested my prescription on Monday, haven’t heard from them and I called Saturday at 10:00am no answer until 10:10am. Top it off the young guy who answered the phone I asked if they received my RX, he says yes and proceeds to tell me it is on back order. I asked why didn’t I get a call and he said it’s on back order. I flat out told him I’m taking my business elsewhere. This has been going on since he started there. If he’s running the pharmacy he’s going to run the place into the ground.

Ericka Gouin: This is the absolute worst pharmacy in the world. They constantly tell my husband on the phone that his script is in stock, just to show up and they do not have it after promising it to him. Last month we went through the drive thru and after taking his name, date of birth, and payment, the tech handed him a script for someone else. It was not even his and was a controlled substance. This is beyond illegal and the pharmacist Mohammed just brushed it off like it was not a big deal, just a mistake. We will be reporting this and he should lose his license. They are incredibly incompetent, slow, and have no clue what they are doing! Stay far away!

Dana De Groot: No one EVER picks up the phone when you call. I called twice for the pharmacy after receiving a message to call. The first phone was 17 minute before I was hung up on. The second time I was on hold for 32 minutes - constantly being put in hold. I called back and asked for a manager. I was told ‘I don’t know where one is’. After being placed on hold again, I called backed again. I waited some more. Then I finally just hung up. Since they care so little for my business, I guess I’ll go elsewhere. While I know my leaving won’t get their attention, I certainly hope no one has to go through what I went through. This place is lucky to get one star. This pharmacy is grossly understaffed.

Debbie Thanks for video-very informative: We needed an antiviral med (for Covid) for our 89 yr old father so script was called in here because they are one of the few places nearby that carries it! I tried for OVER 2 hours to call there & no one ever picked up the phone in the pharmacy! Finally I drove up there only to find that they didn’t carry the lower dose which was the one ordered! Nobody had the decency to call anyone about this, let alone pick up a ringing phone! The next morning the nurse practitioner tried to call there after we told her what had happened & surprise - no one answered the phone! My brother told her not to waste any more of her time so she called new script into a place by his house in Imlay City! My brother then drove the med down to Warren & delivered it to our dad (who lives just a half of a block from the Walgreens on 13 mile rd in Warren)! Talk about a waste of someone’s time! I would NEVER recommend this pharmacy to anyone after this terrible experience!! They showed absolutely NO concern at all for their customers!!

Sheila D: We have been going to this pharmacy for quite some time now, and truly appreciate the personal care that we get from the owner and the staff. We had never before gone to a privately owned pharmacy, but what a difference. Our employer requires us to use a chain or mail order pharmacy for many things but I still come here for anything I can including vaccines, COVID tests, etc.. We could even get the vaccine and the test kits here when the chain pharmacies either did not have any or were so booked it would take a while to get one. Highly recommend!

Complimentary juice and a piece of candy while they watched a kid show in the lobby afterward was the icing on the cake. laura lcrrgb: Changed insurance so had to change pharmacy..wish I switched from cvs to this rite aid long ago as the level of service is top notch compared to them. Always fast friendly professional and informative service ..Which still continues to this day:)
Jesi: Pharmacist is rude, disagreeable and purposely unhelpful. Would not recommend taking your business here if you are able to go anywhere else.
Rachel Mealer: This is the best Rite Aid i've been to out of all the ones I've visited in other states too. The male pharmacist (Paul) is an awesome guy. He is so nice, funny and always tries to help to get you the best price on everything and adds discounts if possible. All the employees"greet you when you walk in the door and when you're leaving. 10 stars in my opinion.

Sarah Varner: Don’t use this pharmacy if you have medicaid. They refused to give me my 90 birth control script saying my insurance will only let them fill one box at a time. Now every time it’s time to get a refill they give me the run around. First it’s they don’t have it in stock, then it’s too soon to fill. Listen, I’m not getting pregnant cuz they won’t fill my prescription. I’ll go somewhere else. The pharmacy is literally the only reason I come to this store and the pharmacists attitudes suck. I’m gonna be late on my birth control thanks to their “policy”
