Relentless Rye: Don’t ever go to this cvs they have terrible customer service CVS has locks on all of the printer ink some of them don’t even work but of course the one I need is locked I’ve waited over a hour for a employee to unlock it and no one came this is unacceptable CVS.

Margaret Topous: Hours listed for pharmacy are not accurate. CVS needs to update them. Open usually by 10am.Always helpful. May be difficult to get to right now because if the local roadwork on 12 Mile, but clean and well stocked. Staff is helpful and kind. (Get to it via Ryan Rd. or from eastbound 12 Mile from Dequindre area.👩‍⚕️Pharmacist Christine isknowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for her alone. Crystal Toma: There’s an African American girl that works the register (not wearing a name tag of course). She doesn’t acknowledge customers and I stood in front of her for 5 minutes while she played on her phone. When she finally made eye contact, she still didn’t say anything. I asked about an item and her response was “no” and proceeded to play on her phone. She has zero customer service skills and honestly shouldn’t be working with the public.The manager found what I needed in the back, unfortunately I had to encounter her again when checking out. She was eating handfuls of chips while cashing me out

I hate CVS. Go to Walgreens a block or so north, or even Target (a few blocks West) or Meijer (a few blocks East) and still get in and out faster with more $ in your pocket.

Hanaa Yousif: I waited at the pharmacy for an hour for my medication, and a pharmacist assistant said, "I didn't notice you waiting and it'll be ready in minutes". So I waited another half an hour, and i told them that my time is precious too and they told me they'll get it for me soon, which they never did. So when I left, they sarcastically said. "Have a good day!" With people laughing in the background.

Oftentimes they forget and they have to be called by the other pharmacy again, which that pharmacy then again has to wait for another 45 minutes.Update - now at over an hour, still on hold.

Allison Fouch: I have literally never had such bad experiences trying to get my prescriptions. I usually refill my three prescriptions via phone, but EVERY single time I pull into the drive-thru at this specific CVS they tell me that my prescription has not been refilled. Then, after explaining that I have called and refilled it (sometimes even days before), they proceed to tell me that it will be ready in an hour. I just made the trip out here after calling for them to tell me that it hasn't been refilled? Insane. On top of that, they are SO rude about it. Today, I refilled my prescription online and made sure that all of my prescriptions were ready to be picked up before driving all the way out there. One of them is even set to auto-refill. I pull up to the drive-thru and have the exact same issue. None of my prescriptions have been refilled and the lady helping me was SO rude, again. After I pick up these prescriptions, whenever that may be, I will not be sending them back to this location. Just awful service and horrible efficiency. At times, this has forced me to miss days of taking my prescription because they take their time and act like they really don't care.If you want an easy, quick, problem free prescription pick-up, DO NOT USE THIS CVS.

Lauren Haight: I had to get COVID tested to return to work. It's been over 3 days and no results. I specifically chose this location bc the store staff told me they've been getting 24 hr turn-around times. I call the store and then send me to a different number for minute clinic, which isn't an option on the store system. When I told the store clerk I couldn't find a number, she got really sassy and said it was on the bag for my nasal swab test. I told her I threw it away because it was a plastic see-through bag. She continued to get sassy. Finally she gives me a number. I call this number and have been on a loop for 40 min. 2 operators put me back in the loop. This is getting really frustrating as I am now not able to work my second job until I get results. There really needs to be a faster process. Finally get transferred to someone, Autumn, who does an amazing job tracking someone down. However, that person now tells me to call back in tomorrow and that the website is wrong, it always takes 4 days, not 2-3 like it says online or 24 hrs like store clerks said on the phone. CVS, some of your pages says 2-3, some say 2-5, some say 24 hours. All of your pages need to match.

Having Faith: I went to buy cereal in the morning. The correct ad wasn't out. I finally got the right ad., went to the back to grab cereal there was no sale labels that reflected the ad. Which they could of gave me the sale price to their negligence and put up labels. She said I'm not giving you anything in a nasty tone. Sheena Boscas: Thank you to the lady who assisted me at the pharmacy today 12/30. Didn’t catch her name but she was very helpful and informative.
Carole Hessell: I wish I could give 0 stars! This is the most disgusting store I’ve ever seen! The entrance doors are so filthy bar you can’t see through them. The floors look like they haven’t been cleaned or swept in months. I realize help is sparse but this was totally unacceptable. We walked in and immediately walked out!
Mieko Smith: Says they open at 8AM and there opening staff didn’t walk in until 8 store still not open at 8:15. The staff are rude and not friendly. Always have to look for an employee to ring my items up or assist at the front counter. This cvs close to home but I hate it!
B Dizzle My Schnizzle: Mainly reviewing the pharmacy as I switched to this one after a few years of other, non CVS stores. Very good pharmacy. Pretty quick to fill and the pharmacists and staff are very knowledgeable when I have questions. I would say the only issue I had was with one prescription; it needed a pre-authorization but they never sent word back to my doctor so my doctor didn't know. That is being straightened out now but that notifying the doctor there is a problem with the prescription should be an automatic; I would have given 5 stars if not for that.As far as the rest of the store goes, staff seem OK. I mean, it's a typical CVS otherwise.

Haunted Forever: Some short, young, shoulder length blonde haired woman who works at this CVS snuck up on me and my husband, and said to us "You're not allowed to shop here and use your own bag!" We were shocked and didn't know how to respond because this a-hle snuck up on us and she insisted she go get us a cart and we felt like she was accusing us of shop lifting!? Something we've never done. By the time she brought that cart by us I was so mad because of how awful she treated us. Whenever dealing with a Narcissist it's a normal reaction for you to respond in anger towards the Narcissist and tell her "Here!! You can have it all!!"...as I threw the *Excessively overpriced CVS products* ......into that cart, but I missed.. (she was determined to prove we were shoplifters. As I said we never did what she's accusing us of)... and told her some unpleasant words which wasn't the B word, or C word. It doesn't matter what I said. It's how she treated us that matters...We were potential paying customers who help her to earn a paycheck ..but none of that mattered to her, and neither did having respect towards us/her customers. We didn't deserve to be treated like that! Since then we always avoid this CVS on Hoover. You should too. The way they run their pharmacy is just awful too. It takes an hour for Rx's to be filled?! This is for any customer who provides a means to a paycheck for them, your time is insignificant.

andrea Golden: If I could give negative stars I would. The Pharmacy has no idea what is going on. Sadly they don't understand billing, insurance coverages, or how to navigate the insurance protocols. Also, they have violated HIPPA as the gave me another customer's medication accidentally. Please be cautious and very patient is you decide to use this CVS location as your pharmacy. They are slow, don't answer their phone, and are often unwilling to answer questions regarding medication or billing. Very disappointing.

Karen Davis: I have been using this CVS for many, many years. Occasionally, I try the nearly Rite Aid or Walgreens, but the CVS staff are MUCH more friendly & helpful--both clerks and pharmacy. Once in a great while they are out of something I am looking for, but only rarely. I do wish they did Western Union & sold wine, but realize why they do not. It is clean & neat & I have never had a problem there, never an incorrect prescription, never a wrong price charged. I am glad they are here!

Nova Phonix: The Middle Eastern Pharmacist is disrespectful, unprofessional, rude; yet he's still there. He has lost my prescription and apparently I am not the only one. He doesn't answer the phone and makes me sometimes wait days or weeks to get my medicine. The only reprieve is the pharmacist that works on Wednesday ( a AA women,) who always make sure I receive my medicine, she always seemed to be working with one tech, but the unprofessional ME pharmacist has two to three. I like to say the tech Nicole is always kind and professional.

Maronda Anderson: Save yourself the hassle. This pharmacy has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. When my doctor sent them my prescription they didn't enter the info in the system. I called them to see if it was filled after being hung up on twice someone told me that they couldn't fill it b/c their refrigerator had went out, and that I can call another CVS and have them pull my prescription and get it filled that way. So I'm like bam bet, I call around to two other CVS's neither of them could find my prescription. After calling this location back 3 times I finally get through to someone who has the nastiest attitude and she says that the other locations can easily pull my script they just didn't want to. So after this y'all I'm exhausted (it had been 3 hours) I decide to just deal with it in the morning. So the next day I call the original CVS I us to use by my old house on 11 mile/John R and same thing they don't see a prescription for me which means this location did not put it in the system or they have my information wrong. So here it is m being on hold for 15 mins now with this location and Im writing this review.

Me Myself: I've lost 3 jobs due to this location alone and yes I've spoken to the store manager and the pharmacy manager yet as a first responder I can't get my medication so I can provide care for my consumer's and still have to go to this length to get my point across. This location is in the medical district. Not to mention my PCP is located at 4201 st antoine has been my same doctor for at least 7years. Same perception method she's always used send me medication and refills directly to the pharmacist and guess whose facing eviction me and the pharmacist mgt dosen't care nor does the store manager. And C.V.S is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies.........not in my experience and I have been a loyal customer since I was 18. Lord willing I will be 39 next month and facing eviction, dte energy about to be cut off. My phone is off it only works on wifi. I'm just one person I'm sure amongst many customer's I'm sure are facing the delima. Still to this day no one nor the corporation has done anything about the initial problem however the service employees have gotten worse
Aaron Gerard: This is by far the worst pharmacy you could go to: for months out of convenience I committed myself to this pharmacy. The staff is subpar underprepared and the pharmacist are either rude or liars. It’s a mix of come back tomorrow or in an hour or the next day. Time gas and patients are too fickle in this day and age to constantly be given the short end of the stick. Not only have I switched to Walgreens I’m considering also pulling my Aetna health insurance which is in affiliation with CVS/ care mark. They know that they are busy and serve a very busy area yet instead of working to enrich the quality and quality of their staff they make the customer suffer the blunt of it all. Safe to say in Detroit CVS will never see me or my money. I would be lying if I said I wish them the best so I’ll say that I don’t wish them any harm or bad in their future endeavors. As for cvs as fortune 15 company I wish you all do better to ensure your clients are taken care of, I even attempted to call and complain and was given further run around. I wish this company would live up to its reputation. Minus one star for the lethargic staff, minus one star for the in proper text pick up messaging service, minus one star for being late from lunch/break and making me wait an hour, minus one star for simply being unprofessional.

Michael Williams: A pretty big CVS with everything you need for a one stop shop. Photo so, pharmacy, alcohol, food, pop, meds, toys and Halloween decor/costumes. And the staff there are super friendly. It's a joy walking in there.

What a joke. You would think a pharmacist would be more helpful in patients receiving meds. I’ll never recommend or go to this CVS. Even for non Pharmacy items this CVS is a 3 star. The customer service lacks, probably why they put the self service station in.
Matt Beeman: Several times this month, 2 separate doctors sent prescriptions in to this location. Staff says there is no prescription. Yesterday, Urgent Care sent a prescription in for an antibiotic, it was later in the day, so when they said it wasn’t ready yet, I went to get it today. “We never received it”. Called doctor they sent it again, verified address of CVS with me, then they called CVS to verify the address and that they received it. CVS said “YES”. I waited about an hour and a half so there would be time to fill it. Went in. “We didn’t receive it”. Went through several staff and the pharmacist and it seems to have vanished. If I hadn’t heard the phone call from the doctor the pharmacy myself I might still think they could be the problem. But I heard the pharmacy confirm they received it myself. I don’t know what’s going on here, but that’s it. I’m transferring all my prescriptions to Walgreens.

After a third call with the same feedback, I told them approval was sent days ago - they somehow found it at that very moment... 🙄🙃 At this point it had been a week of this nonsense and confusion, and three days without my meds for a chronic illness, so I finally gave up on CVS. My doctor sent a new script to another pharmacy and I had it within an hour. Unbelievable.

Leo O: sent my girlfriend up to get my emergency prescription my dr sent over while i was at work they needed my insurance information to be verified (completely understandable) when she told the pharmacist she was calling me the pharmacist proceeded to tell my girlfriend that she shouldn’t be on the phone when speaking with her like a child, the pharmacy tech around stuck up for my girlfriend so that was appreciated, my insurance was verified by me to the pharmacists with all of my information on file around 10am, 5-6pm rolls around im there to pick up my prescription for them to tell me they can’t accept my insurance when they’ve given me no calls, no texts, not even a email to tell me this when i could’ve went somewhere else. They told me to send it to a different pharmacy and have them contact them soon as i can, i drove straight to another pharmacy (rite aid) and the pharmacist and i sat there for 30 min trying to get a hold of them the pharmacist told me he’ll give me a call when they pick up and get it transferred over he was on the phone for THREE hours with no answer and when they did choose to answer they picked up and hung up. the pure negligence, ignorance, attitude of this pharmacy is disgusting don’t go into the medical field if you’re gonna be an grade A a*sshole about it

You can come try to pick up your meds a whole day later than you suppose to and they are still not ready and they will have no answer for you. As I stated to the lady, this prescription was supposed to be ready yesterday, she just shrugged her shoulders. So I had to take extra time out of my already busy schedule to wait for my med. Sad, their work ethic is pathetic.Update: 10/10/22 originally gave them two stars now it’s one. They’re just completely incompetent at what they do. They’re literally never on time with anything. Melissa Leonard: Everytime I get a script called in it's never ready takes a day or two to fill if it's multiples only ones ready the other ones aren't ready the staff doesn't know why one got filled the other thing get filled there's never no answers it's just overall terrible. Had I known that face masks were not required, I would not have risked my health by entering this store!

Literally 2 minutes. Hall road and Schoenherr- busy store. I sent my husband to the store, and he decides to stop in and check to be sure they don’t have it at this store. Low and behold, they have the product I wanted. Thank God my husband checked. Saved him a 1.5 drive.

B Langston: The pharmacist Aida is the worst. I guess the staff is overwhelmed because of Covid but that no reason to be nasty. My prescription was sent Saturday and when I went to get it Monday I was told it still wasn’t ready because “there were people before me”. I asked to talk to the pharmacist but she never came to help so I had to get out the car with my crutches to go inside to talk to the pharmacist. Soon as I started talking she started talking over me, wouldn’t let me talk or anything so I interrupted her and she asked me out loud what my prescription was for, and I told her if I wanted everybody to know my business I would have told them. She refused to look for my prescription, called the manager Dave and he was disrespectful as well go tell me to shut up. Then called the security officer too, meanwhile I still didn’t have the prescription in my possession yet. Aida even went this far as to ask me to close my mouth. Thank God for Rite Aid because I will be transferring.
