Craig M. Hogancamp: Nice place, friendly people, nice views of nature in the city. Management cares enough to beautify with plants in the spring 🌼🌱😁👍🙏🐣🐇🐰🐥🆗❤️💛💚💖Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Mr. Craig M. Hogancamp: Stay here. The people are the best. I know a lot of people that have visited here, truly a nice place to stay. It is an economical place, very competitive rates. Very clean rooms. Excellent maid service. Get to know the people, they are very friendly. They have lots of rooms available! Kid friendly, excellent location near I-75. In-room coffee. Also available at the office: Breakfast bags are available, 7-11am, as are snack vending and laundry facilities. Very well maintained property inside and out. Jeff and Sam keep the place looking beautiful. Very accommodating place.
Toni Etter: They have roaches, carpet is filthy, and they have bad customer service...family from out of town shockedRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5 …More
Clare Scott: Clean, friendly, and a good, quiet place to sleep .
Jackilynn “Jacki Raye” Dickey: I have been coming here since the pandemic first started and have been treated with the utmost courtesy and graciousness. All 3 rooms that I've stayed in have been very large and I have stayed each time over a month, and have felt very comfortable and at home. The staff here are absolutely wonderful! Kind and helpful and I really appreciate them!
James Walker: This is one of those motels that used to be a nice place to stay. But over the years, things have really taken a decline. The continental breakfast used to include cereals, bagels, donuts, milk, juice and coffee. Now it's just a brown bag of garbage food. They have it posted that there are no pets allowed, yet I have seen at least 3 dogs on the property. Currently, they do not have a working ice machine. The rooms have not been updated in well over a decade. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, the furniture is falling apart and the towel racks and bedside lamps are falling out of the walls. This is also a motel that makes the majority of it's money from people who are living there week to week. There are kids constantly running around, yelling and screaming, and this goes on all day and well beyond midnight. And the parents are no better. Most of this centers around one particular room that is housing 7 people (4 kids and 3 adults), while the room is only coded for up to 4 guests. And numerous other guests who have kids and live at this motel are always congregating outside of the 7 person room, taking over the parking lot and making excessive noise late into the night. The staff is friendly enough and the housekeepers work hard. But this is a losing battle. No money is being spent to make improvements, rules are posted but not enforced and there is no peace to be had with they type of people they are renting rooms to.

Opal Productions: Guys beware this is my 2nd time writing this review someone is taking it down!Me and my family stayed here for months in between places to live.At 1st, everything was great! Good location, customer service and rate. However, once I brought my mother and sister problems started to arise. We all order Doordash frequently, but the owners assumed we were being suspicious and kicked us out with no reasoning. We have Doordash on contact free delivery, which means they place food down and take a picture. The owner kicked us out with no chance to explain. All the money we spent there, all the tips provided to staff and good reviews left means NOTHING!BEWARE! This could happen to anyone!! Plus bring bug spray if u plan on staying long-term.PS. Don't trust the reviews for all hotel/motels they've removed my review several times on many sites!GOOD LUCK!!

basic cam24: Party hotel! People running up and down halls. Drinking in pool area. It’s a kick it hotel. Not a place for rest.
Sam Miller: The breakfast was good and had plenty to choose from. The rooms were very nice and spacious. Apparently the hotel is renovating but I did not hear a thing and slept peacefully. I will be back.Yes, the hotel have plenty of amenities including beer, and wine.
Charlotte Wells: I will start off positive, the rooms were clean and nicely set up. This hotel is very kid friendly, if you are going for peace and quiet, this is not the hotel. Children were running around all night without adult supervision. Adults were loud talking in the hallways. The fire alarms were set off 3 times in the middle of the morning 3 am, 4 am, and 8 am. We did not get any rest from the fire alarms.Safety: Fire alarms went off 3 times in the middle of the morning, 3 am, 4 am, and 8 am. We did not know if children set the alarms off or if there was a real fire.
Linda Cobbs-Banks: The place was clean and service was excellent. Thank you Tonya at front desk for an your help and kindness. The breakfast was individually packaged great quiche by the way. Thanks for a good adventure while passing through.Food & drinks: Love the set up for breakfast with individual packaging
Monique Irvin: Only two issues that had in the room the heat would not stay on and the pool could have been cleaned out the water was dirty. The quality of the stay was excellent and very good hospitality.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Gezzus Krice: My previous experience at SpringHill suites was not a good one. I'm guessing due to the power outage, there were more people there than usual, and the people there were teenagers, and teenagers do with teenagers, and that's messing up. That's precisely what they did some leakage, or somebody was tampering with something that made the alarm go off at 4:45 in the morning, making everyone come downstairs in the lobby not to get a full refund for any inconvenience that the hotel caused. I'll give my experience out of 10 a musty four.
Wilf Norrlinger: Small rooms, dirty, out of date, horrible service. If there was no Marriott sign outside I'd swear it was a red roof inn.
Dee: The reservationist, Shanie was awesome. About 25 family members were traveling to Southfield for the funeral of another family member and needed 11 rooms. Shanie didn't hesitate to take the time to book each room under the applicable person's name. She also offered Marriott's bereavement rate which I never knew existed.Upon calling back with a request for a shower chair, A.J. actually ensured that the chair was in the right person's room. I know that is what it is supposed to happen but I am always very appreciative when special requests are handled without a glitch.Another family member commented on the great location of the hotel; it was close to the church as well as other family members in Southfield. The only negative comment is unsupervised children in the breakfast area; don't know where the parents were but they needed to be with these kids who could not have been no more than 10.Regardless, we would definitely stay at this hotel again!
Front Desk: ALL I WILL SAY SINCE I CAN'T UPLOAD MY VIDEO OR PICS...BRING CLEANER WITH YOU PREFERABLY CLOROX AND RECLEAN YOUR SURFACES IN YOUR ROOM!!! THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING AND SO IS MANGEMENT!! luke: WORST HOTEL IVE BEEN AT!!! We start when we arrive. We check in and the front desk gives us attitude. We just brush it off. Next we go down to the pool as we had a long 5hr car ride here. Everything is fine until one of the workers comes in and as we are playing A small safe game named “sharks and minnows” in the pool, she screams at us for being “loud” and disturbing others… nobody was by us. Later we leave after that horrible encounter and we change. The water was very cold in the shower even at maximum temperature, the tv wasn’t working in some of our rooms, we had 4 rooms. But everything else was ok in the room, bed was comfy, closets were nice, and the sofa was pretty large. We went downstairs yet again so we could workout for a little, the room is small and thankfully there were dumbbells, they said nothing about age limits to us so we went in. As I’m in the middle of a set dumbbell pressing 45’s for 5 reps. A worker comes in and tells me I need to “put the weights down” because there was a “age limit” even tho I met those requirements that we were never shown ANYWHERE she still told me to put it down. I was in complete disbelief. We went back into the pool at around 8pm, it closes at 10pm keep that in mind, we try to access it but the keycard wouldn’t work. So we went to the front desk to ask why it wouldn’t work. They told us “we felt like closing it early.” I ask why. They tell us we need an adult because it’s too “explicit” for us to know. Ok, I just brought my family member down and she told him “someone pooped in the pool.” I’m 16, is it too inappropriate for me to know that someone pooped in the pool💀🤣🤣. What an experience, way to make the guests feel welcome. Next day, before we leave we go down for breakfast. They had a fuse in the middle of me making my waffles and then they screamed at random people for acting “inappropriate” in the food area. Nobody did anything🤣. Never coming here again.
Polly Lives4This!: Dria made my experience exellent! She is so helpful and friendly. I felt really comfortable and she was accommodating to my needs. Marie Haynes: BeautifulRooms: Very cleanFood & drinks: Surrounded by restaurants
Chasity Strawder: Definitely a PARTY HOTEL! 👎🏾 Music playing all night, car alarms going off in the parking lot, and people running up & down the hallways. The staff didn’t care about our complaints and we wouldn’t stay here again. Plus, hotel is in a terrible location where people drive like maniacs.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5 …More
Shaune Tilley: HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give this hotel a zero. This is the worst marriott and hotel I have ever stayed in. It has a terrible smell of mildew in the hallways and rooms. The carpets are stained and old in the hallways and rooms. The sofa in the room has stains and needs cleaning. This hotel needs to be remodeled. The customer service is ok. I would never recommend his place to anyone. I stayed here because everything was booked in downtown Detroit due to the auto show.

Raynebeau Noir: MGM grand has a hotel, casino and great dining experiences as well as several bars. I go there often to eat or grab a drink and I don't need to gamble. Valet is available at a discount for card members and for anyone for a fee. Otherwise, self park is available as well.Walkability: Easily accessible floors and venues within the casino.Food & drinks: Multiple restaurants. Tap is great for small plates and to watch sports.

S L: It was a nice luxurious experience. There was a couple things that bothered me. I was celebrating my college graduation and bday, So my boyfriend got us a room at MGM. But there website wasn’t working for booking, we called them to book. They stated it was our cards that wasn’t working. We tried both my card and his card (2 different banks) and they still blamed us. So we had to pay more to book through Expedia. But once we were there the security was super rude each time. We have CA IDs and we’re both 23. The security insisted that our IDs were fake. They looked at it while giving us sketchy looks, scanned it (which worked) but they continued to check it after the scan with black light and magnifying glass. Then after all that they quizzed us about CA. This was a hassle that occurred 5 times. So I guess MGM loves the elderly more.
Corey Nolan: This places is really top-notch for casinos in Detroit. I'm not a big gambler but my buddies enjoy it. Got my players card and they gave me 5.00 of free play. Won a little on the slots, but gave it back pretty quickly. The food was pretty good, we ate at a new hot chicken place located inside. The valet was great! I forgot my phone at one of the machines and they held the truck out front til we were able to find the phone and get back out the door. So hats off to MGM for a great experience! The bad ...* drink stations could use a little work.* they could have a 15$ craps less table .*****Update *****Was there yesterday and enjoyed the 15$ tables I never thought I would see !

Lance Taylor: I am reposting this as the company attempted to delete my post. I was employed at Pontiac residence inn/Auburn Hills. I resigned from the position on 4-25-23 as management there is very racist and discriminated against blacks in general. From Desk supervisor Mary, got into an argument with a black family. She made an inappropriate comment to a young black boy,, which caused a negative reaction by the mother. Mary addressed this issue with me stating that , EVERYTIME SHE SEE A BLACK WOMAN SHE WANNA. She then stopped and proceeded to say, I’m not racist….I reported this to Human Resource Sandy, as well as Manager Stephanie. They declined to investigate. For that reason, I resigned from my position. The company runs a very poor and racist management… The embrace racism at the Marriott Pontiac
Mahdavian Anastasia: It saddens me to say Marriott simply DOES NOT care about their customers. Even the loyal elite members who only stay at Marriott hotels if given the choice and extensively and almost exclusively use the Marriott Bonvoy credit card. While we have had a bump or two here and there with a stay it was always overlooked as things happen. However, when Marriott refuses to refund a customer for a cancelled reservation that was not within the allotted time frame DUE TO A DEATH in the family that is where I draw the line. I am compelled to reach out to you Marriott and warn all other customers of our experience. My husbands father died on a Sunday evening. As he ran to get back to his brother and handle the death of his father actually had the wherewithal to cancel his business reservation on the app the night before his reservation. My husband had a business trip scheduled the next day to Pontiac Michigan and had reservations at the Auburn Hills Marriott. The Auburn Hills Marriott REFUSES TO ISSUE A REFUND. The manager had the audacity to say because the cancellation occurred after the deadline no refund. Unfortunately Marriott, death does not abide by your cancellation policy. Sorry that he died within 24 hours of the booking. Marriott will not step in and help because this hotel is privately owned. Marriott, you should not have your name associated with a cold hearted hotel who does not make concessions for death of a loved one. Keep in mind it was my husbands FATHER, not a distant relative. If your name is on a hotel I expect Marriott the company to be able to control a situation. After back and forth the manager offered a discount on a future stay. Who in their right mind would want to stay at a hotel that cares NOTHING for their customers. Remarkably, the manager said the books for the month were done and it would be hard to issue a refund?!? Seriously? It truly pains me to say I think perhaps it is time we part ways both by never staying at a marriott again and by cancelling our Bonvoy card and switching to IHG instead.
Kevin Hunter: My stay was paid for by UWM, and I thought about leaving or paying for a cheap hotel. Set AC to cool room and could not sleep due to the heat in the room. Ate at Woodwards both nights and Tim the waiter acted like he did not want to be there and never smiled, except the 2nd night when our UWM AE was at the table. The Manager for Woodwards had a phenomenal attitude and was the reason I came back on night two. I was up every hour due to the heat. The bathroom was disgusting and I cleaned the hair in the shower and sink. Sheets seemed used, luckily I didn't need them due to the heat. I will not be back to train with UWM if they put me in this Marriot. Stay anywhere else if you want a good night's sleep.Rooms: Disgusting and hot
Sugar Events & Entertainment: Venue managers are often seen as vital personnel in organizing events, but Madison from the Pontiac/Auburn Hills Marriott surpasses that perception. As an event manager, guest greeter, vendor concierge, and hospitality expert, Madison's versatility and expertise are unparalleled. Her ability to handle a plethora of responsibilities with utmost dedication and finesse is truly remarkable.Sugar Events has had the privilege of collaborating with Madison for several South-Asian events, with her managing the event in collaboration with our lead coordinator, Riddhi, or DJs, Sahil and Kru. It has been a delightful experience working with the venue as they extend excellent service to staff and vendors alike, a rarity in venues these days.If you seek to organize a well-structured and enjoyable South-Asian wedding with a considerable guest list of 250+, Madison should be your first choice. Her proficiency in managing large-scale events is commendable and brings a sense of relief to the process. We look forward to working with Madison and the entire team at the AHMP again and again!

Heather Kralik: Very nice hotel -- rooms were modern and very clean. They offer a nice restaurant/bar in the lobby. There was a mess up with my rooms initially, requested adjoining...and we're given rooms across the hall. When I went back down to the desk, they were able to resolve it. Somehow they also jad 3 rooms reserved, when I only booked 2. Again, they were gracious and fixed the reservation in their system.
Crystal West The Realtor-Lender: The staff was amazing. On-site restaurant was the place to be for good food, drink, and great conversation.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
We-need-the-Pooh: Marriott sucks generally in house keeping these days. I have been staying a few Marriot recently and their new house keeping system based on the request by customers are not working well. First, there are chances that the front desk agent writes down a room# wrongly which happened to me. And then I used the app not to have any room# error but still they didnt change the bed sheet and pillows, but just arranged the bed. I was able to find out some juice stain I dropped accidentally to the pillow and the bed sheet even after the full housekeeping. The shower room wasn't cleaned either. This is not the first time. My colleagues also had the same experience, his room was not even vacummed. Since Marriot changes its policy, its very inconvenient and not organized internally. Trash cans, cleaning request, or out of toilet paper, you have to deal with it by yourself. I am moving to Hilton from now on for my biz trip.

Not impressed at all .Rooms: Clean very clean ! Lots of space and classy.
William Noll: Went to their breakfast on a Sunday morning and couldn't even get to any of the food. There over a dozen kids who not letting anyone get to the food. The people who worked there talked to them and it was clear they knew the kids. It was clear that the paying customers were secondary to feeding the children of people who worked there. The kids were running around and were clearly unsupervised. It was clear that the feeding and daycare children of the people who worked there was more important than the experience for the guests.

Anthony Wiener: 2nd stay at this particular location .... Obviously we didn't learn the 1st time ... For this review we'll only focus on the last stay .... We stayed in room 114 ... This shower had exposed lighting (as long as you're not splashing the ceiling you're ok), the door to the shower leaks BAD, all it would take is a $2 seal to close the gap. Now onto breakfast, the worst breakfast offering at a Marriott hotel I've ever seen outside of COVID times & please don't ask the breakfast host for anything, you'd thought you had asked for her kidney.... Just so you know it's not all bad ..... The beds were super comfortable, good location & the bar at the Holiday Inn is super on point BOTH food and drinks ....

Jalisa Hudson: When I got there (2/24-2/26) check in was good. I got to my room I had a king suite studio and the heat was not working so they moved me down the hall to a double bed certainly not what I paid for the room was dirty the bed was very uncomfortable it was loud in the halls you could hear the water running from different rooms. The pool was a different story the pool was VERY disgusting the water looked like hot dog water it was very dirty the hot tub looked like swamp water one of the front desk clerk she was very nonchalant and just a rude individual. I would NEVER stay there again worst experienceThe only good thing was the location!

Steve Larson: Reserved and paid for weeks in advance. Came in late off the road to find they overbooked and our room was given to someone else. The front desk had nothing to say. On property?—— this was a big no no—— we had nowhere to store our critical things- breakfast was your standard fare but cold
Deb Allison: A very untidy hotel and that’s putting it mildly. The positives: the front desk person was friendly, even at 10 pm at night and the king bed was surprisingly comfortable. The negatives: stains on the carpet both in the room and hallway, food crumbs under the tv cabinet in our room and a older bathroom that showed signs of wear in the shower both in the actual tub and walls of the bathroom. Renovations were supposedly happening on the 3rd floor but honestly the whole place needs an overhaul! Will never stay here again and we’ve stayed at our fair share of Marriott hotels!!

Bree Bree: I booked a room earlier in advance. I requested a top level room and they refused to give me a top level room because housekeeping says they are busy and didn’t feel like doing extra work. The people above me has been running and stomping around all night/morning. I couldn’t get no sleep. This was my first time at this hotel and it will be my last. This hotel is too expensive to not get what i asked for when i’m paying my money.
Ava H: I normally like Drury, but after staying here I think I like this hotel even better!Clean lobby and rooms, nice environment.Jacuzzi suite is very spacious, and offers large mirror as well. Quality toiletries and nice pool and spa. The breakfast lobby accommodates dairy and nut allergies with choices of oat and almond milk which is really nice. Staff were professional and satisfactory. Will definitely consider choosing this marriott again in the near future.
D'mauri Alexander: Lightbulbs were missing, mold was in the room, the front desk was rude when we presented the issues to them
Harley Neufer: I stayed 5 days they wouldn’t send housekeeping to clean the room and m they closed the pool early
William Kemerer: This place supposedly started a remodel back in October '22 but you wouldn't know it from our hall and room. Looks like old outdated wall paper, the bottom of the door laminate was peeling, one of the sheer window curtains was ripped and tattered, the window wouldn't close all the way... Seriously, update needed badly... And if since October you don't have any fully remodelled rooms to put people in, maybe don't advertise that you started a remodel that long ago.
Neal Down Home Improvement Neal: Breakfast just wasn't long enough, most Breakfast ends at 11:30 or 12:00 noonRooms: No toothpaste, no shampoo, not enough face towels, no hand body lotion in the room... just the small travel size.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
