Kuk Sool Won of Madison Heights: what do users think?
Agnes Perkowski: Great school and place to learn not only martial arts but also respect, patience and leadership skills. Sir Mohr has great approach to working with kids at any age. We're proud to be part of KSW family.
Tetiana Cudaback: Love the classes !!
Stephen Clayton: Kuk Sool Won of Madison Heights is one of four certified schools in Michigan that teach Kuk Sool, which is a system comprised of all of the traditional Korean martial arts, founded by Grandmaster Suh In Hyuk (look him up). Classes are taught under the instruction of Gehrik Mohr, BSBN (third degree black belt). The closest school is located about an hour away in the Flint, MI area and run by Kenneth Wright, KJN (5th degree black belt & master), who trains regularly with BSBN Mohr. Each of them have decades of experience in martial arts and have trained students to improve overall health, longevity, defend themselves and attain confidence. The school offers classes to people of all ages. I encourage you to visit and try out a class.
Titan Records, Inc.: This school is amazing! The teachers are fun and more than happy to help you gain the strength and control we need to achieve or goals! Its great for the whole family!
C Love: My son started Kuk Sool Won to learn to learn to punch and kick like a lot of 7 year old boys want. There is SO much more to learn! He is learning body and special awareness, discipline, learning how to stick with things when they are super fun or when they are hard! He has achieved a blue belt at this point, but his constant learning is what we both love about his martial art. The school has a family friendly feel but with etiquette still being paramount.
Britte Sanchez: My son started at Kuk Sool Won of Madison Heights about a year ago and I can't say enough good things about it. He was going through a difficult transition with kindergarten at the time and his instructor, Gehrik Mohr, worked a lot with him in helping him recognize his emotions and how he can express it in a healthy way. His individual instruction style and incredible patience helped my son find the calm he needed. Since then, my son has improved immensely and I give a lot of the credit of his transformation to the structure, discipline, and sense of accomplishment that he's received through Kuk Sool Won.
Sandra Xicotencatl: The master is great.
Gabby Sharp: This is the real deal Authentic Korean Martial Arts. Excellent prices and even better instructor. All ages can expect an amazing individualized attention. Adding this discipline to your life style is a win win opportunity.

Champion Martial Arts: what do users think?
Josh Caps: Phenomenal martial arts studio, couldn't recommend a more supportive team
A.J. Petix: Unconventional martial arts but I like it
lee locke: Champion is a great start to a TKD school. Very personable and professional.
kurt marlin: Great place. Really brings the best out of his students.
Mary Goebel: Great local business.Master Ron is a very knowledgeable instructor.
Donte Stafford: My daughter is a 1st Degree Junior Blackbelt and we live it there
Gauri Kadam: I would definitely recommend this place, my son Vivaan was here for almost 2 years. Sr. Master Ron and Sr. Master Galang always makes sure to follow exact techniques. They participate in various tournaments which helps kids to grow to great extent. Thanks to staff in the class to create such a homely environment in the class.
candice stafford: My 8 year old has been training here for 2 yrs. And is now a brown belt . She also goes to tournaments. She love it
laura brennan: Instructor Ron was very disrespectful and inappropriate towards a student in a sparring situation. He could have really hurt this student (A 12 year-old boy) which did result in this student having to be taken to the hospital. Instructor Ron repeatedly kicked this student in the chest to the point he was crying. Many other moms and dads who were present witnessed this happening and were very upset that the instructor took it to that level. If he is going to treat this student this way for accidentally kicking someone in an sparring competition, who is at a higher level, he will treat your child this way. PLEASE think twice before taking your child here, you don't want them being disciplined in such a way this student was for no good reason. He should not be teaching children of any age if this is how he is going to treat them.Google will not let me post this without clicking a star, please be aware that i am giving this place NO STARS because of this incident. They are not a welcoming or friendly place that I would personally take my child back to or recommend to others.Instructor Ron: First off, I was not misinformed of anything that happened that day. You on the other hand are misinforming others. Trying to pretend that you did not hurt a child and stating that you have never hurt a child is a LIE You did HURT a child, a 12 year old boy who had to go to the hospital after you thought it was okay to kick him repeatedly in the chest. What kind of martial arts instructor does that? I have many relatives and friends who have attended different types of martial arts and none of them were ever trained to hurt anyone. They were trained that it is an art and if you have to protect yourself than do so, but then get out of the situation and do not harm anyone. You chose to hurt a child, to teach him what a hard kick felt like in front of many witnesses. Do you think other's didn't see what you did? You cannot try to talk your way out of that, you did what you did and it was disgusting. You are just a bully and the people that you have writing your so called good reviews are just bully's also, because they must think it is okay for a grown man to kick a 12 year old boy when the boy didn't do anything wrong . It is laughable to see those people commend you, because I am sure if the roles were reversed and it was their child that you kicked repeatedly in the chest, they may not be singing your praises. You should be a man and admit what you did and take ownership. That is what a true master would do. I sincerely hope that you don't ever hurt another child and I sincerely hope someone reads my posts and does not come to your studio, because you should not be training kids. You don't even realize what damage you caused, but someday I hope you do!
Katie Tourangau: Ignore the troll "lie Detective Speak", I attended classes with Senior Master Ronald Galang many years ago. Himself, family, and other champion members are extremely helpful, caring, and patient. I would not think twice before recommending or choosing champions for martial arts training. Kudos to a great company and school!
tims truck: When inexperienced people don't come to this school they do not understand how organized the teaching is. I have lived in 6 states and seen martial arts schools around the US and this is the best one yet. Everyone here is like family. I have 3 kids that go here and they love it so much they go everyday. From a man that travels around the US as a job I can a sure you that you will love it here. Champion will welcome you and your family as one of their own. Everyone here are not only friends but family as well.Disregard any rude and inappropriate reviews.
Andrew Arnett: We have been part of the Champion family since the doors opened. My daughter is the first student to make it through all of the belts to earn her black belt at this wonderful school. Master Ron and his staff have always been open and welcoming to everyone that has walked through the door. Couldn't be happier with this place!
David Tanner: Awesomeness!!!Best place ever!!!Viva la champion!!!This instructor really knows his stuff. Great teacher and very patient. Very diseplend and respectful! All the students are awesome as well. My Daughter loved it!!
ya fatimah: Champion is the best place my family has been to. I have 2 brothers and a sister that go here. Master Ron is an amazing instructor and loves all his students. He is an inspiration to all the kids and students. Master Ron is very experienced and knows very well how to teach, he is very respectful and helps students achieve their goals. We have seen other Martial Arts schools and this is the best one anywhere!!! My siblings love it there its like our second home. Everyone is so friendly. I recommend this place to kids and adults. If there is anything I learned from watching them train its "The path of martial arts begins and ends with courtesy. So be genuinely polite on every occasion." -masutatsu oyama. 3 We are Champion, champion means family, family means nobody gets left behind.
Tim Mirabitur: Training at champion is a wonderful experience. Having watched multiple families exercise, grow, and gain the knowledge of taekwondo has been one of the most enjoyable things I have been witness to of my time at Champion. Senior Master Ron takes the time and his experience of well over 27 years to make sure each student is pushed to their limit with the respect, discipline, confidence, and self control that they should show everyday. Come try out this awesome school you won't be disappointed!
Imran Haque: Worst place I ever sent my daughter. Wasted 3 months there and my money. Could not make it there on time one day, and the instructor behaved very rudely with me and told me I could not bring in my daughter today. They have zero sense of politeness. My daughter also did not learn anything. It looks like there business is doing well and this is why they have gotten rude.

Mike Pelkey: Best place to learn BJJ, Judo, kickboxing, great instructors with a welcoming family like environment, it has been life changing experience mentally and physically, this is truly my happy place(: !
Anthony Delegato: Chris and Brendan run an outstanding gym in Allegiance. they are amazing individuals, coaches, teammates and family. the level of intra-gym competition here is awesome, "steel sharpens steel", the saying goes. if you're looking to improve your skills, whether it be for competition or self defense, this is the place. bjj, judo, striking, mma, this place has it all and there's a pack of killers training here every day of the week. not only that but the storage here is welcoming and these nuts that train here i consider family. leave the ego at the door and train hard!
Chris Sensini: Only gym I would ever train at there’s a special bond you gain with your team when you train at this gym
anne bleser: I go there it is like a stress reliever
David Foster: Great place to learn. Coaches and other students are more than willing to share technique with you. I highly recommend this place

jeff baughman: I love allegiance gym!! This is honestly where I've showed my best results. The team is constantly motivating me. I'd like to say I found a home at allegiance and these awesome people are my family.
V McB: Great place to train. Clean new facility, and great instructors.
Ed Gawrelak: The best gym with probably the largest mat area in the state. The coaches are very knowledgeable with years of experience in Judo and Jiu jitsu.
Matheus Veloso: Great place to train and make friends! I've been doing bjj and judo for over 20 years and there is no place like this. Instruction is great from kids, beginner and adult classes. Very knowledgeable people, friendly staff and awesome family environment. Come in to this place and check it out, the owner will always answer the phone and be ready to give you all the information you need to get started!!!
Mo: I found Allegiance after training at a different shop for a few years. Initially, I was skeptical and did not think I was going to stay for long, but I'm still here. It was not the world class training that kept me here or the competitive pricing; it was the people that kept me here. I cannot compare this community to any other. The warmth and level of familiarity you feel with these people from week one is very different from other training facilities. I'm not asking you to sign up. I'm asking you to have an open mind and go in and talk to the people there. I promise you will want to come back for more.
Krystian Maslowski: Great place to start or continue your journey with Brazilian jiu jitsu. The team is very passionate about the sport, which makes learning new technique even easier. You will find out quickly that becoming a member of the family comes fast.
Stephen Colegio: Great place to train Jiu Juitsu, Gi or no-Gi. Plenty of room, new, clean mats and pleanty of parking. Quality instruction with plenty of people from high level to beginner to train and learn with. It is a great team atmosphere.
Raymond Stratos: I can’t explain how amazing this gym is!!! From the facility To the coaching to the amazing people that you deal with every day. The people in this gym are like family I drive an hour 6 days a week to come train at this gym and I wouldn’t want to train anywhere else.
lukewandyg: Best place for BJJ in Michigan! The facility is large and everything is new. But that’s nothing compared to the family feeling at this gym. Everyone gets along and there’s a lot of respect amongst members. Everyone wants you to succeed and do well. The instruction from the coaches here is top notch. Do yourself a favor and get up here!!!

Naama Karate: what do users think?
Kevin Hunter (The Business Forum Show): Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueI trained with NAAMA Karate years ago. Best experience I ever had in any martial arts school anywhere. My instructor was Mike Colangelo...probably retired now. All around class act!
Ryan Brewer: Being an instructor here, it is a great place to learn karate and other forms of martial arts.
April: I am very thankful & feel honored to have my son going there & being taught such an important life skill. My son loves going there every Saturday!! Sensei Ryan and Sean, are amazing at what they do!! My son & I both Thank you for your time. I know what a huge difference my son feels after leaving class. I hope we can continue going for years to come!! :)
Cameron Edmonds: We brought our kindergartner in there hoping we could start him up with a new experience. The youngest in there was probably about 8 years old. The gentleman at the front let us do a "sit-in" and watch (with a chance to participate if he wanted) without paying. Unfortunately my son was a little more intimidated since there wasn't anyone there his age. The class setting was conducive to people his age since everyone was much older.
AJ: It's right by my house and really teaches discipline honor and respect karate helps to defend your self so try it out
