Allegiance Jiu Jitsu: what do users think?
Tyler Guy: Just had my first class here and I absolutely loved it
Daniel Blake: Fantastic place to train with outstanding people. The atmosphere is positively contagious and everyone has a great attitude to help.
Braden Morton: Very nice 👌
James Mason: My son does kids Jiu Jitsu here, and he absolutely loves it. The instructors are great, very knowledgeable, and also very patient with the kids. I couldn't ask for a better setup for having my kids learn Jiu Jitsu.
Joe Wright: Learning so much.
Yuli Kaplunovsky: Doing kickboxing here for almost 2 years ... not bad...
Mike Pelkey: Best place to learn BJJ, Judo, kickboxing, great instructors with a welcoming family like environment, it has been life changing experience mentally and physically, this is truly my happy place(: !
Anthony Delegato: Chris and Brendan run an outstanding gym in Allegiance. they are amazing individuals, coaches, teammates and family. the level of intra-gym competition here is awesome, "steel sharpens steel", the saying goes. if you're looking to improve your skills, whether it be for competition or self defense, this is the place. bjj, judo, striking, mma, this place has it all and there's a pack of killers training here every day of the week. not only that but the storage here is welcoming and these nuts that train here i consider family. leave the ego at the door and train hard!
Chris Sensini: Only gym I would ever train at there’s a special bond you gain with your team when you train at this gym
anne bleser: I go there it is like a stress reliever
David Foster: Great place to learn. Coaches and other students are more than willing to share technique with you. I highly recommend this place
ben krockta: Great gym to train at and make some good friends. The coaching is amazing and the people there make it easy to unwind and be yourself. People train at your pace. Since joining I have competed in competition and look forward to the next one!
jeff baughman: I love allegiance gym!! This is honestly where I've showed my best results. The team is constantly motivating me. I'd like to say I found a home at allegiance and these awesome people are my family.
V McB: Great place to train. Clean new facility, and great instructors.
Ed Gawrelak: The best gym with probably the largest mat area in the state. The coaches are very knowledgeable with years of experience in Judo and Jiu jitsu.
Matheus Veloso: Great place to train and make friends! I've been doing bjj and judo for over 20 years and there is no place like this. Instruction is great from kids, beginner and adult classes. Very knowledgeable people, friendly staff and awesome family environment. Come in to this place and check it out, the owner will always answer the phone and be ready to give you all the information you need to get started!!!
Mo: I found Allegiance after training at a different shop for a few years. Initially, I was skeptical and did not think I was going to stay for long, but I'm still here. It was not the world class training that kept me here or the competitive pricing; it was the people that kept me here. I cannot compare this community to any other. The warmth and level of familiarity you feel with these people from week one is very different from other training facilities. I'm not asking you to sign up. I'm asking you to have an open mind and go in and talk to the people there. I promise you will want to come back for more.
Krystian Maslowski: Great place to start or continue your journey with Brazilian jiu jitsu. The team is very passionate about the sport, which makes learning new technique even easier. You will find out quickly that becoming a member of the family comes fast.
Stephen Colegio: Great place to train Jiu Juitsu, Gi or no-Gi. Plenty of room, new, clean mats and pleanty of parking. Quality instruction with plenty of people from high level to beginner to train and learn with. It is a great team atmosphere.
Raymond Stratos: I can’t explain how amazing this gym is!!! From the facility To the coaching to the amazing people that you deal with every day. The people in this gym are like family I drive an hour 6 days a week to come train at this gym and I wouldn’t want to train anywhere else.
lukewandyg: Best place for BJJ in Michigan! The facility is large and everything is new. But that’s nothing compared to the family feeling at this gym. Everyone gets along and there’s a lot of respect amongst members. Everyone wants you to succeed and do well. The instruction from the coaches here is top notch. Do yourself a favor and get up here!!!

Shojin Judo: what do users think?
Nick K: Great judo program. Friendly, fun and welcoming.
Steve Walmsley: Keeping the Judo tradition alive! Keep up the good work!
Chris Carter: Great experience coming in as a complete novice. Senseis Neil, Nabil, and Peter focus on proper technique and execution for safety and effectiveness. I intend to stay a member as long as possible.
Andrew S: I LOVE Judo. Sensei Neil is an amazing instructor, and the higher belts are very nice and helpful. Class is intense, but super fun. The atmosphere is very conducive to learning, and I feel like I am making a bunch of new friends.
Simon Anton: Shojin is a great dojo and I would recommend it to anyone! I have been practicing Judo here for the past three years and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Sensei Simon and Sensei Nabil have years of experience as Judo competitors, referees, and educators - and they are exceptional teachers. I have seen tremendous improvements in myself and in the other members of Shojin - people who are now like my family. We are a diverse group of people - the dojo is very safe, inclusive, and respectful - and all are welcome. Judo is a martial art, a sport, a way of being and is incredibly fun. It is also a great workout. If you are at all curious about Judo come by and give it a try.
Marquis Bradshaw: My friend, Nick, invited me to check out Shojin Judo, his home dojo, back in 2012. I must admit that I was skeptical at first. I was, however, impressed by the level of hands on teaching, team-work, and intense exercise. Had I not moved out of state, I would have likely called Shojin Judo my home dojo. It's a gem.

Victorious MMA: what do users think?
Almighty S0SE: This place is simply excellent for those individuals who come, with a humble attitude to learn multiple martial arts styles. Respect is number one here which really stood out to me during my first class and the camaraderie between everyone in the facility is absolutely amazing. Ultimately, if you’re looking to better yourself mentally and physically while making some potential life long bonds, this is the place for you.
Abdul Mahbub: Victorious is an amazing gym with a great coach and a great environment. Coach Vic is smiling everyday and teaching not only martial arts, but how we can apply these things everyday outside the gym. The others training here are all very welcoming and don’t mind giving advice to anyone. From the first day I stepped foot here, all the experienced people taught me and now I try to do the same with anyone new at Victorious as well.
ashraful islam: Victorious MMA is a great place to to train at. Coach Vic knows his stuff and will push you hard to meet your goals, amazing team atmosphere, and a super clean well maintained training area.
Alex Reeves: Great, clean and competitive gym. This is a place where safety comes first and hard work a close second. Coach Vic is experienced and wants to pull the best out of each individual student, not only in martial arts but in life. Might be intimidating at first to join, but after you get in the swing of things you’ll be happy you stayed. Students are friendly, helpful, and always ready to give you an extra roll to work on your weaknesses. Overall, this could be a life changing experience if you come into it with an open mind and the willingness to work hard consistently.
Oscar Mike: Absolutely amazing facility! Vic is extremely knowledgeable and pushes you to be great. By far the best gym around if you’re looking to challenge yourself and become a better athlete, and human. Nothing but good things to say about this place
Bradley Penn: Great gym. Love the jui-jitsu and muay thai classes.
Dean White: I’ve been going for 3 months now and I’m fully addicted to mma. Great people, friendly environment.
David Mitchell: Great atmosphere! Any and all experience levels are welcome. Been going still June 2021 and I've stronger, sparring and more confident than ever!!
mark hamilton: Great environment, atmosphere and coaching in metro Detroit.
Jackilyn Hearne: Victorious MMA is an amazing gym with passionate, experienced teachers. My 8 & 10 year have learned so much and are always excited to be a part of the class each week. Thank you Victor!!
Robert Holbrook: Great place to train, awesome instruction and training!!!
Spenzo E: Dave has been a big help communicating with me to figure out information about their Sambo class. Khannor was awesome in helping me with my wrestling technique. Great guys, a friendly and welcoming place. Very clean gym with high end equipment. I recommend to anyone.
Farmer117: I absolutely love this place. If you're looking to get out of your comfort zone, make some friends, and learn some martial arts this is the place to be. Whether you want to learn self defense, get into great shape, get your family involved, or compete seriously Victorious MMA is the best community around.
Chris Nesbitt: Great classes and welcoming people teaching real life usable skills. Highly recommend
marc bullock: I can’t say enough in this short review to explain how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to be trained by Vic at Victorious MMA. With our wrestling room being closed due to the snow storm, Vic didn’t hesitate to welcome my team into his gym and train them for 2 hours. For this man to open his doors and take time out of his day to train these young men with nothing in return speaks volumes to his character and heart as a teach/mentor. As a retired Marine, I understand quality training when I experience it. I also know quality instructors who genuinely cares for his students. Vic is the type of leader you want in your corner. You won’t find a better facility than Victorious MMA. Clean, organized, stocked with all of the best equipment money can by. If you are looking for a gym and instruction that will improve your skills and fitness, you need not look any further than Victorious MMA. You will not be disappointed by the positive impact it will have on your life.
Joe B: I’ve been training at Victorious for six months now and have loved every minute. Vic really cares about his students and wants us to learn. I especially appreciate the focus on real world self defense. Everyone helps each other learn and progress. We work hard and have fun doing it. There is a real team atmosphere. I’m grateful to have found a place like this with great instructors and teammates.
B N: This is an EXCELLENT facility no matter what your experience level is. I highly recommend Victorious. Victor is very genuine, knowledgeable and honest, he will push you to do your best because he actually cares about his students. The kids jiu jitsu instructor, Emelin, is awesome with the children and communicates in a way the kids can actually understand what they're being taught. My 6 yo son loves going to jiu jits everyday. I go to Strength and Conditioning twice a week and have seen so much improvement in my physical ability and wellness goals for only working out twice a week, seriously impressive!! Every class I've done is something different, but nonetheless a challenging full body work out where I leave feeling proud of myself 🙂Overall, this is a family place where you will feel welcomed and comfortable. There is 100% credibility to why it's the most highly rated MMA/fitness gym in the area!
Dialo Hurt: My favorite gym around and I've tried plenty. Great coaching and environment!
xiaoxue xin: Are you frustrated with being alone? Do you have willingness to be stronger? If yes, this is the exact right place for you. You will get detailed and patient instruction and get involved in an interactive and practical environment at the same time. You will find a patenter, so no worries about the practice. I learned a lot in each course. Last but not the least, the best thing is that everyone is welcome! Don't hesitate, just try it!
Carebear 2006: I started coming with my boyfriend about a month and a half ago! I never thought I could do any of the workouts being so out of shape! Vic and the instructors there take their time to show you and help you get stronger and push yourself and I leave there after every class feeling proud of myself! It is definitely worth the time and money! Everyone is so friendly and helpful also!
Alex Grand: Vic is an awesome instructor and very patient. The schedule is awesome and accommodating, especially considering I work nights. The atmosphere is great and the place is always clean.

Naama Karate: what do users think?
Kevin Hunter (The Business Forum Show): Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueI trained with NAAMA Karate years ago. Best experience I ever had in any martial arts school anywhere. My instructor was Mike Colangelo...probably retired now. All around class act!
Ryan Brewer: Being an instructor here, it is a great place to learn karate and other forms of martial arts.
April: I am very thankful & feel honored to have my son going there & being taught such an important life skill. My son loves going there every Saturday!! Sensei Ryan and Sean, are amazing at what they do!! My son & I both Thank you for your time. I know what a huge difference my son feels after leaving class. I hope we can continue going for years to come!! :)
Cameron Edmonds: We brought our kindergartner in there hoping we could start him up with a new experience. The youngest in there was probably about 8 years old. The gentleman at the front let us do a "sit-in" and watch (with a chance to participate if he wanted) without paying. Unfortunately my son was a little more intimidated since there wasn't anyone there his age. The class setting was conducive to people his age since everyone was much older.
AJ: It's right by my house and really teaches discipline honor and respect karate helps to defend your self so try it out
