The courses offered in Wu style T'ai Chi Ch'uan are challenging and exciting and well-worth the effort of focused training. T'ai Chi is a great workout both physically and mentally and just makes you feel good. MTCI trains the traditional martial applications of T'ai Chi, providing self-defense skills as well as promoting good health through energy-circulating exercises. Sifu Michael Ashmore is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in the many different forms as well as the history of Wu style T'ai Chi and is an enjoyable teacher to learn from. I definitely recommend MTCI for anyone interested in learning a martial art, or just looking for a healthy fitness activity. :o)

Shrey Bhatt: This is truly a great place for all ages! I am a third degree black belt at this dojang(school) and I have been doing Taekwondo here since I was in first grade, and I definitely recommend it for anyone. It is a great mixture of exercise, stretching, and a awesome martial arts school. Master Sweet is a fabulous teacher and teaches excellently. Along with Taekwondo, we also have many different styles of martial arts such as: Aikido, Tai Chi, Iaido, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and much more! Everyone is very kind and caring and always available to help. Overall, I believe everyone should try at least one of these martial arts and Master Sweet has taught me so much and I could have never asked for a better instructor.

Paul AbouSouan: This place is fantastic. Master sweet is great at what he does. He has great passion for the art. He takes this very serious, yet at the same time he still keeps it fun. He has a lot of patience for the beginners and is tentative to making sure they don’t feel out of place. He also makes sure that the beginner is learning the proper form. This is more than just learning how to kick and punch. This also teaches discipline, gives confidence, respect, do good in school, and how to behave outside. I strongly recommend. This is great for all ages.

wail alibrahimi: Avoid at all costs. I went in with my 7 yr old daughter to get more information on their classes. During my conversation with owner Master Doc I asked him if there were any external safety issues I should know about (area wise). He became extremely defensive, confused, and asking if I meant someone coming in to rob us or beat up a kid. He then insinuated that my question was suspicious and had the audacity to ask me in front of my daughter if I was going to be the one doing such a thing. Jaw dropping offensive remark to make to a parent with a general question about safety. We were going to sign up but after such a grotesque comment from Master Doc we decided to sign up with another school.
