Jesse Mercado: The receptionist was so rude and foul, that I switched my PCP immediately. I even asked for a supervisor so she put me on hold for 15mins. then came back to phone amd said no supervisor. This was on May 2, 2022 around noon. The bad thing is I had scheduled that appointment 3 weeks in advanced. Nothing is worth your dignity.

Rob Maxwell: Incompetent office staff and Dr s that don't listen and usually diagnose incorrectly .I dont know why they call it Gammons he s never there or sees patients .And its a revolving door of Doctors.Even the last Dr I saw there told me I should find a good family Dr and recommended one and said this isn't a good place to go for family care .Its basically just a Drug rehab clinic where they perscribe pain killers .Plus office staff is loud and you can hear them talking about other patients. Which is a Hippa violation.They can never even get uour prescriptions called in correctlyDon't go to any of Gammons offices they are all the same sub standard ..You never see the same Dr twice because they either quit or get fired actually most are only physicians assistants .
Christopher Scanlon: I've been with gammons medical for 7 or 8 yrs they are a decent place if you're in need of maintenance for opiates.but they don't put up with bs.test clean for what you're supposed to and there aren't issues
Sally Hasiak: The staff is very helpful,knowledgeable and kind. They don't judge you and they make you feel very comfortable. Being honest is very important. Although they are very busy, your usually in and out. I'm very grateful to them.

As time went on I was in need of certain medications that I was on once on before and needed to go back on them but I was told "NO I'M NOT NOT GIVING THEM TO YOU". It's funny how they think what's best for you.... THEY DONT!!!!... I found a new doctor that does. And a doctor that cares for his patients.For all new patients that are thinking about going to gammons facility. IT'S A CHOP SHOP!!!!!.. Be wise and find another doctor......Just to let everyone know there are others doctors out there that willmeet your needs and you just got to look for them. I found mine

John Suchodolski: I wrote a review of my last horrific experience but forgot to mention after I paid account balance at the office their billing company hounded me and threatened to send my account to collections even though I already paid the office. You would hope if both are billing they would use the sane system or at a minimum send an email to whomever took payment. I would of never caught it normally and I’m sure many people have been double billed. I’m sure they will say that this has never happened before. Yeah, Right!!!

The fact those women even have jobs is a joke. Zero empathy for people with serious medical issues. The front desk alone is a reason for finding another family doctor.

The older lady at the front desk that’s new is the rudest person I’ve ever came into contact with I drove an hour to get there in the snow and they told me they couldn’t see me and that I can wait a whole week didn’t even offer to reschedule me for tomorrow she acted as if she was in a bad mood and decided to take it all out on me which isn’t right or fair. Do NOT come to this place. You’ll regret it
Ashley Brasfield: Dr. Callie Berman has serious issues, her professionalism is pitifully lacking. She began literally screaming at me . She has no control over her emotions, thinks she is God because she has extensive schooling. I'm in RN school!- She is judgemental and looks down on you. "Do no harm"- an oath she betrayed. I left there after an hour- she made me wait to punish me. SICKENING.I am a person not just a patient or a medical record. I also have been to nursing school and will be returning. I say this because calli feels the begs to constantly throw her titles in the air. Means nothing. Anyone can be book smart. Too bad she lacks any other positive qualities. in fact why is this person even a nurse Please get counseling for your deep seated rage. I will be reporting you to the medical board as well.also the office is disgusting dirty and full of cliches all over like a preschoolpts do not sanitize their one nasty restroom in between use 😩😦😵
emerald ashes: There is a serious issue going on at this office. In regard to the lab they use to process their urine screens. Quest labs are not properly handling the drug screens. They are being contaminated and resulting in positive screens for drugs that were never or have never been ingested while drugs that were ingested ie. Marijuana are not present at all. This is a serious issue and when it was brought up the staff treated their patient like a criminal and a liar.

Scott Robinson: I use Gammons for my primary care and for my addiction treatment. Very friendly and professional staff that treat you with dignity and respect. Pretty quick scheduling too. I have never had an issue with anything here. They also accept all forms of Michigan Medicaid as well as just about any other insurance you could have. Even seeing them without insurance is not too expensive at all. They also will let you make payments on any balance you have. I highly recommend this place for anyone needing an addiction treatment doctor and or a primary care physician. I owe my sobriety to Gammons.

Priscilla Pickett: If you want your concerns ignored and disregarded then come here. This doctor doesn't listen to anything you tell him that is wrong with you and will send you back out the door the way you came with a simple follow-up in 30 days. Absolutely ridiculous! He'll refuse to give you a referral to get a second opinion. These types of doctors give real physicians a bad name. Change your PCP as soon as possible.
Heather Gatlin: If I could give Dr Askar and his office 0 stars, I would. I will say that the ladies up front and the MA's are wonderful. But Dr askar doesn't care about anything but his bank account! Neither does his less than pleasant (to say the very least) office manager (Shirley). I felt belittled beyond belief when I was told that receiving a referral to see a specialist that I had seen for years was nothing but a headache. And in Dr Askars own words "I do not like headaches". I truly wish that I could attach a copy of the childish scribble that the office manager, Shirley, did present to my specialist, calling it a referral. To say the very least I wouldn't recommend taking my pet rat to see this doctor. However I guess I should be grateful. I now have a fabulous doctor who cares about me as a person.

Wait time is 2 hours plus, the office looks unorganized and dirty, papers everywhere. Staff looked very unorganized and unprofessional. Waited 2 hours to get called back only to be told to go back and wait in the car and then never heard from the office again. No call or text to come in, no update on the wait, no nothing. Don't waste you're time with this doctor's office! You'll be met with disappointment. I've worked at doctors offices and I understand wait time and being busy with other patients but this is on a whole nother level of waiting and unprofessionalism. Not worth your money and time.

This is my First time assigned a PCP and the worst experience. Dr and his staff were beyond rude. I work as RN and became COVID positive from work. Was off work since early April. My symptoms post Covid is sereve headaches,body aches no sense of smell or taste. I had multiple virtual interviews. Dr respose was Covid is over now and you go back to work despite the fact not feeling the same as before.I went to work twice and end up at the ER and couldnt function and complete my job.Everytime I asked him for a note to be off work, he acted like he is doing me a huge favor.My employer request to have my FMLA papers signed by the dr. I sent the papers to PCP clinic to be filled out and signed. Then the next day, I been contacted by his staff telling me that the Dr said find another PCP !!! So please read these reviews prior going to him. None of the ethical principals this dr curries: there is no Benifecence, no varsity, no advocacy and very arrogant personality he has.....etc. Sorry to say this "NOT EVERYONE WHO GRADUATED FROM A MEDICAL SCHOOL IS A REAL DOCTOR"THANKS

SCOTTISH KNIGHT: My appointment was at 9am one day, I sat in that tiny packed waitng room for 3 hours, and in that time I watched 3 seperate arabic groups of one man, then a man and woman, and then a man and two women, all at seperate times, came in, signed in, and within 5 minutes were called in to see askar, and watched as they came and went, while we all sat in that packed waiting room I asked the rcereception how much longer for me and she said about 45 minutes, so I just told her to forget it, I'm gone, I walked out and never came back, so watch out people, askar favors some over others, favoritism and racism good riddance.
Ashlee Hooks: I can't help but feel like I'm just another number or another insurance check to Dr. Askar his nonchalant dismissive attitude towards my health concerns are frustrating and disheartening. I've had extreme pain for over 6 months and he ordered scans, the scans came back normal so he essentially washed his hands of my pain and prescribed me more Motrin. He even laughed and said "what you want to be sick?? Everything is normal" tf are you kidding me? I had to damn near beg for a referral and it took everything out of me to keep my composure. Needless to say I will NOT be returning to the check collector. I prefer my doctors with more compassion, concern, and care for my overall health. This man is a joke.

There are improvements that need to be made within the office and staff- time to clean house- I hope they don’t ever give me a reason to change my doctor.

Diana Hanna: I just recently became a new patient with Dr. Askar and he was so nice and smart. He knows what he is talking about and always follows up with his patients.
Cramy: The problem with Askar Maan Is his attitude he shouldn’t be speaking with his patients like that. His aggressiveness was really bad. I was speaking with him so politely, and he was just constantly just rude with me. But that’s the thing he doesn’t care at all unfortunately

My parents have been coming to Dr askar for many years and always had good things to say about him. Finally I switched our primary care physician to Dr askar and was mad I didn't do so sooner. He was so thorough. I'm so happy we found someone who we can trust.
chris bishop: Called twice, left VM both times. Never heard back. Finally got an answer on my 3rd call. I was immediately placed on hold for 15 minutes. Scheduled my appointment for 2pm for a specific prescription (that I made clear about on the phone call with the receptionist). I showed up at 1:45 and signed in. I wasn't even acknowledged or given the new patient form to fill out until 2:20. When I handed it back to the front desk I asked how much longer it would be. The lady said, "I'm sure you'll be called as soon as I hand them your form". At 3pm I still hadn't been called. I asked to reschedule because I needed to get back to work. They asked what I was rescheduling for, I told them my prescription, and they told me they didn't think the doctor prescribed that. After waiting another 15 minutes just so they could ask the doctor about something they should have already known before scheduling me initially, they were finally able to let me know that they had wasted my time. Horrible practice. Horrible staff. I never write these reviews but this was just a pathetic excuse for an office. This should be a 0 star review but Google forces you to choose at least one star.

The lack of empathy and deflection for mistreatment of official state records is ridiculous.Our family has been waiting TWO weeks for the returned signed copy of the death certificate for my father. The lack of forthcoming information on the phone was evidence enough that something was being improperly handled. After lack of response from this establishment, repeated calls and office closings, we decided to go in-person to speak with them. Excuse after excuse of why it wasn't turned over during the loss of a loved own is inexcusable.Here is a list of excuses received from the staff about why it was not relinquished after the document was signed:1. Funeral home did not attach a cover sheet to the fax so they did not know where to send it.2. The funeral home did not answer when they called.3. They didn't have contact information for the family (us).4. They don't have caller ID on their office telephones.5. "That's not my job to handle this."Fun Facts for these "excuses":1. The funeral home information was listed at the top of the certificate.2. The funeral home called immediately AFTER sending the certificate, but they didn't write the number down nor ask for a return number.3. They have my father's medical records and even recited our home number as to where they could have called us to obtain that information.4. SURPRISE... the doctor is out of the office.5. SURPRISE...... the office manager was "unavailable" to speak - the one who's job it is to send these documents back.What you're telling me, is a patient of yours is now deceased and you don't have enough compassion or care to take initiative and get the information to the proper persons. This is not just an issue with the family but the county and for not returning official state records.Plain and simple, this office is incompetent, blames others for their shortcomings and negligible in patient/family matters.
Ali Ahmed: Every time I try to make an appointment they pick up the phone right away saying “can you hold”? Then they go missing and never come back to the phone. This happened to me 3 times and the previous reviews tell it all so I’ll be looking somewhere else this is def not a good start...poor customer service l!
If Then: Honestly, this Dr. is only after your money and though he is friendly and likable, he is not a good doctor by any means. He is working beyond his knowledge, several times over-reacting at a test or report and I go to a specialist and they don't understand why I'm there, as it was nothing extreme. My result where just a little high. The specialist said my doctor could of/ should of treated me.The staff, way too many and they aren't friendly at all. HORRIBLE waiting room. The receptionist barley acknowledge you and slams the window shut. I went to ask a question and they seamed like I was trash, didn't even respond just pointed to a sign and slammed window shut. People in waiting room laughed and said get use to it. GET USE TO IT! BS....

Jasmin Besic: This place treats patients like a business, I was 10 minutes late to my appointment during terrible road conditions and was refused, when the clerk asked the doctor he said no. Meanwhile when I visit the office I would wait 20-30 to see the doctor. Along with that I also got some generic email stating if this happens again that they can refuse practice to me. Moving forward I will be looking for a physician who looks after my health and not treat me as a business.
Renee: Ok doctor. Administration is horrible: will not return important phone calls, seems aloof when asked direct questions, cancels appointments with no notification.A receptionist (someone with Little medical training) actually told me I wasn’t sick over the phone: I wasn’t asking her if I was sick, trying to make an appointment.They are also very depressed: could maybe use an office pizza party or something.You will die of sepsis before they return your call though, so you’ve got to consider that.
Erica Strayer: The doctors are… decent at best, but the reception staff is the reason I will never return. I have never been treated with such disregard. They cancelled my appointment without speaking with me first and then blamed me. I was told I would be able to be seen “in a little bit” and after waiting for more than an hour I asked to be seen or to be rescheduled by the end of the week. The ATTITUDE I received from the secretary was beyond unprofessional. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere.

Sam Tomlinson: I’ve never gone to any other doctor in years and I’m 21 and I’ve recently had to call up there the last couple days to either give information to my doctor or to receive information or to get some help and I have just basically gotten no help. The receptionist specifically Kim is very rude she just seems like she’s always in a rush trying to get me off the phone as quick as possible I sent them paperwork from an urgent care claiming I had a broken bone and I wanted to double check with him and it was just coming off like they didn’t care I missed a call from the doctor and I couldn’t get another callback from her I had gotten a callback from the receptionist who really didn’t know the information I was told “ yea I guess that means it’s broken” not even 100% sure when I wanted to speak with the doctor . I understand they’re busy and it can be stressful but I am also a patient and I’m also stressed out with a broken bone possibly ”. They didn’t even give me a referral to where to go to to get it fixed, and then on top of that I had to call back and ask for a referral they give me a number that’s not even to the right place, that doesn’t even deal with broken bones . It’s just really the receptionist customer service it’s terrible recently and I’m not sure if it’s just that one receptionist or everybody up there but it’s really making me not want to come back and deal with them because I have to call up there and speak with these receptionist that are coming off rude and just sound like they’re in a rush to get me off the phone. If the workplace is that stressful when you guys are that busy I suggest hiring more help because even the help they are giving is not help at all.
