Douglas Cole: Went to the MJR in Madison Heights on mother's day with family members. Spent over $70 dollars for tickets online, but when we got to the theater we were able to walk right in. NOT 1 PERSON ASKED TO SEE OUR TICKETS. Why did I bother spend the money for tickets, I could have just walked right in without even buying tickets. The snack counter was good, but the area where you go your drinks was A MESS. pop spilled all over the counter and trash all over. We did enjoy the theater and movie but then as we left and stopped to use the restrooms, it was awful. Family members in my group said the women's bathroom was DISGUSTING. Toilets were clogged and water was flowing over the tops and onto the floor, just a complete MESS. overall the lack of staff taking care of the place was a complete disappointment.
JJ JJ: Great theater. They really did an excellent upgrade. I used to go here in the 90s when it was Movies 16. The seats are so comfortable. Very clean and organized place. Bathrooms are very clean too. Highly recommended 👍

Latifah Abdullah: No stairs. Set up for handicap. Clean. Need more benches in lobbies for handicaps.
Kenyatta Laurence: Great reclining seats, great movie sound, refreshments are a bit high but it was nice to get out.
Sprite Masters: The floors flat so no stairs to climb. Sorta have to look up at the screen. Pretty retro. Interesting theater. I like it.
Mandy M: This is our regular theater as it is the closest to our home. The last few times that I've went it's been disgusting though. The concession/soda machine area is sticky and has spilled drinks everywhere. The women's restrooms are straight up vile. Toilet paper all over the floor, used feminine products, overfilled toilets. For as much of a luxury as movies are these days, the least of expectations is a clean environment.

J D: Just completely frustrating - my last several experiences have been bad. I keep hoping for a return to glory when MJR was the premiere movie-going experience in metro Detroit - but, it's pretty clear that's not going to happen.My last movie had more cell phones lighting up the theater than the actual movie.Went to the concession counter - it was a mess and just had one employee stare at me and not say a word... I finally tracked down a manager who was sitting at the bar playing on his phone.The men's room floor had puddles of water. At least, let's hope it was water.Pre-Covid I was at the movies about once a week. Unfortunately, MJR has pretty much ruined the movie experience for me. I understand it might be difficult to hire people - but, there's really no excuse for the horrible experience -- when I can go to other theaters, a bit further away and have a darn-near perfect theater experience.
carin onstott: We love coming here. MJR is our movie place. The hotdogs are the bomb!!! Who knew? The workers are always pleasant and we have become friendly with the concession guy. He is usually working on Friday am.
Michael Barrett: This is my theater of choice. Its always clean there, including the bathrooms. The staff are usually helpful when you have an issue. The seating is awesome because of the inclined seating. Will always go back to MJR.
Owen Cauley: The theatre was good, but the advertisement before the movie was absolutely revolting. If I had been with a child, I would have blown a gasket. I'm not easily offended, but this was ridiculous, my friend felt the same way. This is a truly sad reflection of our current society. Shame on you MJR.

Nichelle Haith: The first face I seen was at the ticket counter and he was an older gentleman possibly the manager. When I reached the counter he had his head down reading something, he raised his head looked me in my eyes and put his head back down about 30 seconds passed and he looks at me again and didn’t say a word. He displayed no customer service skills whatsoever. When I got to the theater door popcorn was everywhere I couldn’t even step over it. Inside the theater was worst. Nachos in seats soda spilled candy litter in every single row. I did not have a good experience on March 31. I did go to the ten o’clock showing but there we’re only 8 people in there so no excuse why to place wasn’t cleaned. Anyway no more late shows up there for me.

Ruth Chencharick: We saw Mario Brothers on Saturday. The movie was really good but it was EXTREMELY LOUD. My grandsons had to plug their ears through a lot of the movie. I'm starting to lose some of my hearing and it was WAY too loud for me. Somebody needs to turn it down a little. We paid $115 for 5 of us. Not worth the cost when you really can't relax at all
Kahuna Howard “Kahuna” Howard: Daddy Son day to see JOHN WICK 4 !!!! Great seating and great service. The seats were comfy and SIZE friendly for us TALL and LARGE men and Women....lol...lol. Sound of the movie was great, not to loud just perfect ! POPCORN ! ! ! ! Could be a tad warmer but good.
