Larry Clouse: Once again a great couple of days. Weekend of 4/28/23 Got myself in trouble because of overindulging with food stuffs that raised my potassium level dangerously high. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nurses second to none. The best part is watching a staff that is willing to help each other out. My room partner was a very large pain in the butt. The staff on 6th floor never got upset or yelled they were kind always. Although human nature says let's just push him out the window. Each time he did something bad which was about every 20 minutes they came in sometimes 2 or 3 and got him settled in once again. And this went on for my entire stay of approx 40 hours It was fun to watch. If your sick this is where you want to be. So as long as I curb my desire for orange juice, oranges, bananas and cantaloupe I'll be fine. Remember to much of a good thing is probably correct.

Vanessa H: Worst hospital ever. The er nurse had my family wait in a family room to speak with a dr instead of coming back to see my family member. My family waited for almost two hours even tho supposedly we were told the patient was stable. We thought the family member was dead but really the nurse just didn't want to be inconvenienced so close to shift change.

Louis Kenyon: Back in 2020 I was seen in this hospital visibly sick...suffering from severe malnutrition,jaundice,elevated heartrate,source of infection,and severe upper abdominal pain...mind you I'm 5'11 and weighed 122lbs fully clothed...they brought me in took a CT scan gave me antibiotics and rushed me out in less then 5 hrs...almost a month later I was having emergency surgery to remove a gangrenous gallbladder that was putting me into liver failure...God bless BEAUMONT for finding what accension didn't even bother to take the time to look for...never go here ever

The fever went down a little bit and they sent her home I basically take her to the emergency room because of an ongoing infection strep throat since last month none of the antibiotics are working they didn't try to call aemt specialist to the hospital or nothing to try to figure out what's going on with her here's some more antibiotic even though his your fourth bottle take that and go home

Nyssa: Pulled up alone with my child. The fat lazy security guard did nothing to help anybody as I had to leave my truck parked in the emergency lane and run in to get him a wheel chair. They don't have anybody to help you do anything here. My child has been sitting bleeding for over 30 minutes and no one has even so much as looked at him. If you can avoid this hospital please do it. They were quick to make sure I gave them my money but don't give any service. All the nurses are rude and just sitting around doing nothing. Room is dirty and has old blood spots around the floors. Didn't even have sheets on the bed when we first were brought back.

The nurses on the 6th floor are really rude, u complain about one thing the manager on the 6th floor on March 27th at 630pm will yell at you and family then call security to kick u out. Nicole Bastianelli: I really don’t even want to give them one star. This hospital has notoriously been the WORST hospital in Macomb County. I am currently waiting in ER waiting room with my boyfriend who is throwing up and shaking. After we hit the two hour mark of waiting to be seen I went back up to the front desk to check on when we can be taken back. The hospital staff was very snotty and told me that we could be waiting up to six hours. They clearly do not seem concerned with the fact that they have a full waiting room. There is even a pregnant woman who came in shortly after us who is still waiting to be seen. Mean while, we can hear the hospital staff laughing and carrying on with not a care in the world. I’m flabbergasted on how bad this situation is. Like something out of a movie. The floor in here is even dirty. I’m honestly appalled.

Courtney Butts: My mom arrived here at 216pm via ambulance , it is currently 946pm. She has not medication, food, water or been allowed to go to the bathroom. This is almost as bad a Sinai Grace in Detroit. I listening to them offer other people food and drink and they keep passing by her room. And also the room has no light. The nurse had my mom hold her cell phone to get light for the IV. There is also no call button in the room.What a disgrace .

Zalfa Hussein: My experience with insight surgical hospital in Warren has been wonderful. The staff has been very accomadting to me and my family. They have been very thorough through the whole process. SPECIAL thanks to Dr. Belasher, the floor manager, Michael, Lara, Jennifer and the whole night shift nurses and i forget the rest of the names of everyone else. I felt that e everything was explained to me and my family in details and the kitchen made sure that my dietary needs were met. I wouldn't go anywhere for any surgical needs for myself and my family. I recommend insight Warren for anyone who is looking for genuine care and the staff loves what they do. Thank you insight for everything!

William Bell: Dr. Belashar was really good. He needs to go to Beaumont because this insight center is nasty, rude and very unprofessional. I will never go back here again. Bathrooms are nasty just like the staff is. Not understanding to peoples situations at all. I pray none of them are ever in an accident and has to deal with not having an income to really do what you need to do. Now the surgical center is good i had no problems at all but that pain clinic is ab absolute joke. They need to worry about cleaning that nasty building up!!

Marion Johnston: If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve never seen a more incompetent staff in my life. Initially they gave me an appointment over an hour away. Then when my appointment was finally made correctly I was refused to be seen. I was there 45 minutes early to do paperwork, the receptionist embarrassed me in front of everyone. I had valid identification (Michigan license) and current insurance cards. I tried to resolve this by asking for a manager, but had to explain everything 5 different times to 5 different people, including the main (Flint) location. I’m now having to try and get another referral from my doctor.

Rabia Toor: I'm a physician myself. I hate using that card but being on the other side of things has been an exhausting and frustrating experience. There have been multiple calls to the clinic, along with discussing this with the manager about a work note extension for my father for disability.He saw Dr Gemayl and needed imaging but that's not scheduled until after his work note expires.He apparently does not write work notes and we got bounced back to pain management who he hasn't seen in over 3 weeks.Spoke with a manager finally after more than 9 phone calls, high priority messages, more than 1.5 weeks of waiting to hear something who said she'd get back to me.Unfortunately she did not and still called three times today, on the phone for more than 2 hours, got hung up on after being on hold for 23 min, no call back.This has been extremely frustrating that we can't even get connected to a manager to discuss what's going on. It's so disappointing and extremely unprofessional. Would never go back here.

They real made me feel special . My nurse that I talked to on the phone the day before was amazing. I was upset about the senseless killing of the babies in Texas she was so amazing .She made me feel so at ease and special. I have never felt so at ease after speaking with her. Her name is Lauren. You have a fantastic group of people working there.

jerome rosbarsky: I felt so welcomed there. I was at the warren facility this pass weekend I had surgery in which Dr. Torcuator is the best surgeon I have ever had. He listens and really takes time with you to explain everything. He really seems to care. The surgical staff was excellent. I got taken care of by my nurse Ms. Tammy she was the best nurse ever and I have been in alot of hospitals by far she was the best. She was so kind so caring. She went above and beyond for me made me feel so secure that I was getting cared for. She even had to stay and work longer she did it with no complaints care was still above level everytime I went to bathroom she fixed my bedding fluffed pillows she was the best and deserved a raise. Carmen was also very nice and very good. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Please give Tammy a raise she deserves it. Joshua Lopez: I don't know if the people who are leaving "good" reviews are, maybe, actually employees of this place, or somehow associated professionally with the Behavioral Center? What I DO know is: this place is a joke. Absolute joke. Ever single interaction has been difficult, unfruitful, and mostly a waste of everyone's time. Calling in to get any information has been is impossible (yes, they are authorized to speak with me about my loved one being held in there). Still no visiting due to Corona. Seriously? State Prisons now allow visiting, yet this place doesn't? I dropped off some personal items (all were allowable) yet my loved didn't receive ANY of it, even though I wrote her name on the bag and books, she still never received any of it. To top it off, the woman who stated she would ensure my loved one received the items, identified herself as a "Supervisor", white coat, and all. (Broken leg, rolling around the place on her little wheeled cart that supported her leg, short blonde hair, white, with blue eyes).

Kaitlyn Reichard: Wish I could give zero starts. I'm five months pregnant, my husband was transferred there, and the contact I've had with the staff is awful. From the social worker Leon, to the doctors and nurses, I have never been more stressed in my life and you can be sure that if I have complications during birth, it is 100% their fault.

Kristina Delgado: I was a voluntary admission from the crisis center so my experience maybe is a little different. I didn't have a choice in which hospital I was sent to but I'm glad it was this one. I arrived at 4 in the morning and was greeted by the nicest technician and most of the staff was very kind. The doctor was friendly but very rushed. He over-medicated me at first to the point where I was almost falling over from dizziness, but when I brought it up he actually listened to me and decreased my dose. The 2nd floor has not been remodeled so it is pretty dated. I would have liked to be able to go outside and get some fresh air. The food was decent. They respected my religious beliefs (I am a practicing Muslim) and they let me keep my prayer rug and wear my hijab. They helped save my life in a time of crisis. Thank you!

love kings 680: I went here years ago. I had just come off of two antidepressants that I had been on for about 10 years about a month prior (not by my own doing.) I told the doctor I was not sure if I was clinically depressed and needed medication because anyone would be feeling depressed with the situations I was going through at that time and said I had been on the medications for so long that I wasn't sure if they were still working or if I even needed them for as long as I had. the psychiatrist literally just looked at me and said "so why are you here if you don't want medication??" I was like "uhh I said I wasn't sure and figured that you being a doctor and a professional could help me figure that out. " we talked for about three more minutes and he just started writing me scripts

M# B#: Would give no star rating, but you can't post without at least one. The one star is dedicated to the facility. The only 3 helpful and pleasant people were the receptionist, nurse Vinita, and nurse Gary(5 stars for them ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) on the 2nd floor. The social worker Nicole spoke with me once and never followed up again. I had to physically come up to the facility and speak with her over the phone, because a nurse stated my loved one would we dc'd on Monday and it was a Friday afternoon. Not one person from the facility called to discuss the dc plan. They scheduled bogus appointments in the dc plan, stating that a follow up with his treatment center was scheduled for the following Monday at 9 a.m. I later found out that no such appointments had been made. There was one Asian and one African nurse(this how my loved one described them to me) on day shift that were very rude, short, and quiet frankly lazy. When you asked for info it was "I don't know". Never let me find out or check for you. The follow through and team approach is scattered and unprofessional. There is very little transparency, and you would think it would be more, considering they will not let you visit your loved ones. My loved one did not slip through the cracks like so many vulnerable people do. They have family who are very concerned about their wellbeing and treatment when in a facility. I know most places aren't the best and its a shame, because people are supposed to be there to help. Needless to say I would not recommend this facility. They will stress you out more, with their inadequacy , on top of your loved one needing treatment.

Pastor D Weems: My daughter has been in that place for three days and I have not been able to speak with any person since she arrived . I get the operator and the call ends every time I call. I spoke to o my daughter I had her ask the nurse to take my call or call me. Her response was tell her to call the main number and be transferred. Had explain that’s what I had been doing and she kept repeatedly saying tell her to call the main number and be transferred. What is wrong with that place⁉️ Families need information about their loved ones. It is grievous enough with them being there and you can’t see them but not to be able to get information. That is unacceptable.or speak to anyone except the operator. I tried each department I left a message with social work but I don’t expect to get a call from them either‼️Anyone know how to connect with a person there⁉️

Ricardo Paredes Cañedo: They overdosed me here. I was given three shots of Aristada and they falsified documentation and said they gave me Abilify tablets. If you care about your loved ones I would recommend taking them out of this place.

Karter Graczyk: I was brought to this location against my own free will. If you genuinely care about someone and wish for their mental health to get better, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. The vast majority of employees in this facility are unprofessional and careless. When I was staying there, papers with everyone’s information were left around allowing anyone to invade other patients privacy, a fight broke out and was not handled well at all, social workers were also making remarks about the patients that were very inappropriate and unprofessional. The psychiatrist, Dr. Medina is the WORST woman I have ever spoken to. She will lie about your behavior and manipulate you into staying against your will. She tried to put me on HIGH doses of medication that are literally dangerous.If you do research, a past patient, Pauline Klug, stayed at this location and DIED of a drug overdose caused by Dr. Medina in 2020. I stayed in 2021 and she is STILL employed here. This facility is the worst place I have ever been to and I do not recommend it to anyone. Bring your loved one to a better facility such as Harbor Oaks Hospital. I had a wonderful experience there.

Alex D'Avanzo: Inexperienced and unprofessional staff. What kind of doctor recommends a long acting injection of a drug for a patient who has taken said drug two days, with no previous medical history of use. Incredibly irresponsible.

Robert K: This was a good place. The staff was very nice to me. The doctors were helpful and tried their best. 3 meals were served a day. I was never hungry. We were allowed to watch TV and read the newspaper . I enjoyed the group therapy sessions. Overall a very positive experience. Thanks for your help!

That being said the social workers are the worst, including Leon. He's the worst, the other patients there hated him.

Sharon senter: I just spent 13 days here because of Xanax withdrawaland anxiety... and it was the worst 13 days of my life. Most of the staff were kind and helpful...but there were a few that were not. So let me tell you about the psychiatrist - Dr. Medina. You speak to her on Zoom for about 5 minutes. She has never been there in person. And she doesn't know me yet thinks she knows what is best. No one could stand her. I even caught her lying to me to keep me there longer...with a social worker and nurse practitioner as witnesses. She also was trying to wean me off a long-time habit of Xanax within a two-week period. Anyone will tell you that's impossible. Thank God I'm out of there and I can't wait to see my regular doctor.

Bridget Gr: My bf was in there for almost 2 weeks and he seemed worse when he came out....noone talked to me about aftercare or what someone who is living with someone with mental disabilities should do or how to handle certain situations....the only thing my bf got out of it was phone numbers from other patients that are in there or were leaving...it doesnt seem like it was dr and patient sessions it seemed more group sessions. He needed help and now he seems worse so thanks for just shooting him up with medication and sending him on his way...

Charday Bonner: Better than the other 3 mental hospitals I stayed at in Michigan. Staff is friendly, show they care about patients, food is good . They make sure you're not bored and you get plenty of groups through the day. Dbt is very helpful and they teach that thoroughly. I was admitted to Kingswood at age 16. Never been in a hospital before. They made me feel safe. Since then I've been back a few times . Never a bad experience.

Danielle Brunson: Yeah, about this particular place I have a good friend currently up there and she has given permission for her social worker and or other staff to speak to me about her care well I left a message for her social worker yesterday at about 9:20 AM and my friend even told her to give me a call here we are 4:12 pm the next day and she hasn't even called me back to address the concerns that I have about what my friend has been being told. Plus and I'm not sureon other MoDs up there but on the one she is on. There is only one phone for patients to use and or their family's to call them on. And according to the staff member I spoke with there is a bunch of parents on that mod yeah so far I wouldn't put my worst enemy in that facility.

Debbie Kopich: My fiancé was petitioned to kingwood and had the worst experience of his life. He was deathly ill for his 10 day stay and received nothing but 4 blood tests and no medicine to help. This same illness put me in the emergency room and on steroids. On top of that, he had a virtual court date that no one allowed him to attend, and in court falsely claimed he elected not to participate. Would never recommend to send your loved ones to this hospital.

I had gone for self harm and suicidal ideation, I was 13 wanting to take my own life, I couldn’t be left alone. I was told I was fine and didn’t need any help. The staff didn’t seem to enjoy being there as well, find a different job if you can’t treat these patients kindly and with respect!

Zoë Harris: Currently on hold because an EXTREMELY rude woman named Sharon who refused to give her last name, badge number or any form of identifier who worked on August 12th around 9:30pm was being so disrespectful to both myself and my mother when I called as a former patient, who was suicidal, needing assistance getting my meds. She was EXTREMELY dismissive, inconsiderate, blunt, and rude for literally no reason. Now God forbid I took my life she would have to live with that. My concerned mother had to join the call to RESPECTFULLY get assistance and Sharon blatantly did not care and made it seem like we were bothering her. I understand that prescriptions are out of her very low level of expertise, but a GOOD WORKER and a concerned employee would at least provide info or point me in the direction of someone who could help. After we informed her that my mother is a health care compliance officer and demanded to speak with someone on a higher level who could be of better assistance, she put us on hold for about 5 minutes then hung up. We called back and she has refused to answer, keeping us on hold for an additional 20 minutes. Half way through the conversation once we became appalled by her poor customer service I began recording this conversation on my phone and would be happy to share it with your management or HR department. As someone who suffers from severe depression and anxiety I am disgusted that you guys would have such an inconsiderate person working in this type of facility.

Penguin Queen: I am a Registered Nurse. About 8 years ago I spent one month working at Kingswood. Mod C. My colleagues enjoyed belittling me. They yelled at the patients. They were so uncaring. It was a horrible experience. I was shocked by their behavior. Hostile. Rude. Warped. One nurse (My "preceptor.") yelled at me in the hallway because I spilled a few drops of water on the floor. She told me to wipe it up. On my hands and knees. As if I was her personal servant. It was one of the most humiliating experiences in my life. I worked in a Medical ICU for most of my career. We were a team. Professional. Caring. I have been an RN since 1988. Never did I experience anything like I did at Kingswood. These Mod C nurses were bizarre. Each one had oddities. How else to put it? Gaslighting. They never helped the patients. That was the worst month of my life. Do not work there. Absolutely do not allow a family member to be admitted to Kingswood. I never would have thought that nurses could behave this way.

Brittanie Miller: Worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m not talking about the situation I’m talking about the experience at this facility. The faculty was horrible very unprofessional and lack of empathy for the patient. The building was run down I had no hot water for 6 days in the middle of winter despite telling the staff. The temperature in the building was so cold I needed 5 blankets on my bed to stay warm. There were toilet paper balls all over the ceiling 56 in my room to be exact! ( I counted) I didn’t get my medication for 48 hours. So I was in withdrawals on top of a mental health crisis. The nurses acted as if the patients were wasting their time, they were very rude and acted annoyed . It felt very unsafe and not therapeutic at all. No counseling, groups consist of coloring books. It felt more like the county jail than a mental health facility. The food was inedible cold, hard, old just awful in every way possible. This place is the very worst ! Stay away from this place.

Cindy Grymko: This is not a hospital it’s a jail cell for alcoholic and drug rehabilitation not therapy sessions or one on one sessions no hot water for showers and to keep the temperature at 50 degrees when its 29 degrees outside were hospital workers who tell patients to stop crying like a baby when they anxiety is so bad their medicine is not working I would never had sent my daughter there i had known they weren’t there to help just because she has medicad insurance

qrem11: Terrible experience. The rules are inconsistent every day. The staff obviously does not get paid enough or they would care about their work and the patients more. Complete lack of communication between staff and parents.Do better for your city of Detroit, Kingswood.

Nate Braden: I guess this is a weird review I have been to this place when I was a kid in it was okay but I'm trying to figure out well I'm trying to get ahold of my girlfriend who it looks like was put there and her phone was tooken at South Shore Hospital in Trenton so she doesn't have any numbers so I'm trying to figure out what unit is the woman's adult unit so that I can call up there to try to speak to her and get ahold of her because I know she's scared and I know that I need to talk to her

Naz: Thank you for saving my life :) Doctor Husaine(? Cannot spell but he was very tall and from Lebanon. We thought he was scary at first but he’s actually super sweet and he wears those maroon scrubs) was amazing, as well as all of the social workers and therapists there. I met amazing people as well!! I was there a few years ago for treatment for PTSD, and they accommodated me super well. All these negative reviews genuinely upset me after the help I was given. I know no two peoples experience is ever the same, but it’s odd when everyone I know loved Kingswood as well :/

Klaus Shepherd: It was a pretty distant place it has great food and most of the staff are pretty great your allowed to sleep threw most groups but the only group you dont want to sleep threw is activity therapy its the only "fun" group
