NaShawn Williams: My sister ordered a tiramisu to-go, and it was a mess. First of all, it was turned over in the box. Second, it didn't look like a full slice. Third, when my niece went inside to return it, the employee asked, "The tirmasu?" My niece said yes, and they gave her another one. They knew that the first piece wasn't right. I understand that it's Mother's Day, but it was all bad.

Bobbi: There were only a few tables occupied when we arrived, but there was a 20-minute wait due to staffing issues. The host was not helpful, and neither the host nor manager were personable at all.I haven't been here in 20 years, and once we were seated, we really enjoyed the, all you can eat minestrone soup, salad, and bread sticks. The server Brandi made all the difference. I would go back just to have her wait on me, but I would hope to avoid that host and manager.

Jazzmin Finney: They literally gave me all the same sandwiches and charge me different prices for each, didn’t want to replace my sandwiches unless I sent them photos from my phone. That wasn’t the issue, the real issue is I had to keep the sandwiches on hand until I came back that way to get my order replaced because I was not coming back the same day. Who wants to ride around in the car with garlic sandwiches? Then, she also stated there are signs all around the lobby that says Check your order before you leave because they’re not responsible. How the hell am I supposed to check 5 sandwiches from the inside? How am I going to explain to my family and friends I was digging in there sandwiches because Kabob House are robbers. They do this solely for money, they don’t care about their customers.

Crystal Jankiewicz: The food here was always good… when it’s right. Sadly, I wont be patronizing this restaurant any longer. The last three times I was here what I recieved was not what i’d ordered. Once they replaced my sandwich with a different one because they were out of something without checking with or informing me at all. I live in Detroit and coming back right away isn’t always an option. They are rude over the phone (I’ve been hung up on when I’d call to try to fix a mistake) and not at all helpful with refunds or fixing their own errors. My advice, if you order carry out, please make sure you check that everything is correct and there before you leave.

Ashley B: Always ordered takeout finally got to dine in and the experience was so fun! We took our 4,6,and 7 year old and they even enjoyed themselves and the food. Our chef was awesome, service amazing. And people great. Would recommend it’s kind of a hidden gem if you’re not from the area. Again would recommend. I love everything and eat from here frequently. Didn’t get too many pics of food I was too busy eating this time! But they have a nice drink menu as well!

If Then: We called and made a reservation but when we showed a sad sorta handwritten sign stated no Chef. I asked how can you be a sushi place with now chef. They just said sorry. When called and website both state they do surve sushi until you arrive. Why be in business as a sushi restaurant if you don't have a chef?

Manager scolded us the happy, polite cheerful customers before we had even gotten our food. Yet there where very few other customers. Scott Carrick: I share this review with much difficulty. It is hard to give a 1 star review. The group decided to have dinner together for my going away party. The last time we would all be together. We decided we should have memorable experience. I will say this, we will all remember the AWFUL host. She could of been the manager. We called earlier in the day to ask if we needed a reservation. They do not take same day reservations. This is fine. We mentioned we could have 9 maybe a few more. We will just show up and see if there is enough room to seat us. She thought this idea would work. When we arrived at opening a few minutes early. They refused to open the door at 4:58. This is also fine, rules are rules after all. When we were seated a few more people showed. You see they wanted to say their farewells. One of them was scolded by this host or manager. He was not planning on eating. He just wanted to say bye. Eventually we had a party that totaled 11 people. Two of them sat at separate table. There was plenty of room being the restaurant was empty besides us and one other person that was not with us. Once everyone ordered. The manager or host what ever she is decided to SCOLD all of us for not calling ahead. Even though we did. It seems she was attempting to ruin our evening. She should NOT being working in the restaurant industry. Besides that. The food was amazing. Chef was fun! The waitress was fun and did everything she could do to recover from her managers embarrassing tactics and attitude. The people of the party will never return to that location.
Tamanna Jahan: This place sucked, went there with two friends yesterday wow I got the hibachi steak with fried rice , my friend got the same thing. We couldn’t even eat the food because how greasy and tasteless it was. the worst part of it was that caused my stomach to hurt so bad and cause diarrhea and same thing happened to my friend so it was definitely the food, it cost us 38$ For the tasteless food. I knew something was wrong when I was saw one of the worker touching plates after touching his hair with his glove! 🤢🤢🤢🤢

Kathy Szczepanski: In the past month, we’ve dined in once and carried out twice. The dine in experience was a very good one from food to the service. I was more impressed by carry out. We do take out a lot. Invariably, there’s something missing. Not at Red Olive. Spot on! And a small touch but they wrap dressings, soup, anything leakable in plastic wrap. Takes extra time but little things mean a lot. I’m gonna be a regular!

Jimma Lee: You literally have to ask them. When did they cook their food because they are good for serving and selling old food that was made for five days ago. and asked nicely because the young ladies at the front seem to be very irritated about being at work just because it’s a family business does not mean you have to treat people like your broke down Cousin. It’s always a hit or miss with them and they don’t seem to care, so that’s why I say just ask when did they actually cook the food to really enjoy it. But my oxtails were tasteless and my greens were dirty and had absolutely no flavor. They are two out of 10 attempts 2 being good. Mac was dry. But like I say on a fresh Made day, they’re pretty decent.

Ramzi Haddad: Really enjoyed the tenders, very juicy and flavorful. The uncle joe's sauce was very good and they were quick, granted I was there with only one other customer there. My complain is about the price because a starter combo that has 3 tenders shouldn't be this pricy in my opinion, but they could maybe provide an extra side with the meal to justify the price. My total was about 14$ because i got an extra sauce ( which was 1$, which is a lot in my opinion) but I feel I could've spent 14$ at another place and was more full. Never the less I did like it, will be coming back but not happy about the price.
K M: The Coleslaw is great, fries were amazing, Texas toast was good, but the chicken tenders were just subpar, which shocked me.It's hard to justify the price for the food, especially when the size of the coleslaw side they give you in the $17 combo is smaller than what you get at KFC.
