Theodore Hoag: Suburban VOLVO is the dealer at this address, and NOT all the other dealers shown in the photos or most of the other reviews. BE CARFUL when reading reviews, not all Suburban Collection dealers are the same. The Suburban Volvo dealer in the Troy motor mall is great. We have three Volvos vehicles, all purchase from Suburban Volvo in Troy. Some used and some new. We have also been using Suburban Volvo for over 12 years. We also have been using them for all our service. Been happy with both their service and sales staff. Over the years, staff have changed and we have worked with many different employees and we have always had good support at Suburban Volvo. Everyone will have issues with their Vehicles, regardless of brand or model. We have been able to find equable solutions when we have disagreed with Suburban Volvo.

I was looking for a used vehicle with a specific price range and mileage and not only was that met, but the car condition was outstanding. Definitely recommend this place! Very friendly staff too!

Imagine them taking your money, not getting what was agreed upon, then they don't return your money, dodge calles and messages until 2 months pass by and only return your money after the police start getting involved. Also don't be fooled by their fake/paid positive reviews or any other lies that they'll say.
Courtney McDonald: Went up here because I need to purchase a vehicle and they had a few that I really liked! Upon arriving you could tell that the lot was not taken care of very well. Walked around a lot for quite some time looking at the vehicles a lot of them sitting on flat tires, insides of the cars were filthy and you could just tell nothing was cared for around here! Still gave it a chance and after looking at the vehicles that I was interested in my husband and I decided to leave because nobody came out to greet us like most car lots do and by the looks of the vehicles we thought it would be best to go somewhere where the vehicles looked cared for and clean without the flat tires 🤷🏼‍♀️

Megan Neal: **Buyer Beware**We purchased a brand new Land Rover Discovery from Jaguar Land Rover of Annapolis in late December 2019 which is owned by Penske. The entire experience has been awful. The car was purchased and all the documents were prepared incorrectly, we had to send multiple emails to obtain our tags and registration, which were still not processed within the standard time allotted by the State, the delivery of the vehicle was delayed and we were told that it was due to Apple Car Play but now with less than 10k miles and less than 6 months of ownership the car has been continuously in the service center for almost 30 days with no clear resolution.The quality of the car has been compromised due to a significant leak caused by the dealerships installation of a roof rack prior to our purchase. The leak has generated issues with the HVAC system, Apple Car Play, Tailgate Lift, a second HVAC issue which has surfaced during time at the dealership and most impactful is the transmission/acceleration of the vehicle which caused the vehicle to lurch violently when pressing the gas - the vehicle had to be towed to the dealership.I have asked to speak to the General Manager of the dealership and I am consistently pushed back to Steve Miller, Director of Service, who encouraged me to file a complaint with Land Rover Corporate. They will not even provide the service records associated with my vehicle. The dealership has not offered a loaner car for the 25+ days that I have been without a vehicle and now after doing as encouraged they don’t want to provide any information either.

Finally arrives, dirty, dead battery etc. Lie after lie after lie. And after all that not a single thing they "spent the week fixing" was done. No idea how they stay in business. Absolute disgrace. Wont let me reply to owner......lie 1: I give you my word it will be ready when you arrive...i waited 5 hours and was told repeatedly it was on the way...clearly not true...lie 2: it will be turn key...alternator is dead....carb had every screw loose that could be..manifold had screws loose etc....you sent it to a mechanic...you should have checked their work...its on you. I could go on but it makes no difference. Just like over the phone and in person more lies here. The only plus side to anything is the staff was polite.....

Told me I had a "courtesy hold" on the vehicle while the owner was "considering the offer". I was told i would be called back on two separate occasions but they never did. I finally called them and was basically told they were using my offer as leverage for a better one. Found out the vehicle was "sold" when I went back on their website tonight. Or, maybe it wasn't. I got the feeling the vehicle didn't belong to an "elderly gentleman" like I was told at all. Wouldn't you call the offering party back to say your offer was rejected by the owner in hopes of getting a better one? Instead, you never communicate anything to the offering party? No, not buying it. This whole process was shady from start to finish. Beware.Your response is BS. I MADE an offer and it was not contingent on me coming within two weeks. It was contingent upon you telling me whether the offer was accepted or not. There was nothing said about two weeks. Why would I come out there to look at it if the offer wasn't accepted? You didn't tell me anything about a three day hold. You are fabricating things. Period. I don't care if you do not want to sell the car but tell the truth.

He first contacted them 2 weeks ago about purchasing a vehicle(74 javelin) and had no response for those 2 weeks. Then the car appeared on eBay for sale, for less than what CAB was asking and they accepted the offer. They contacted him and got his down payment to confirm the purchase, and they have not returned any phone calls or mesages. Buyers beware of this company and it’s sellers.

Amp J (Gurugongetit): I received an overall decent 1996 impala but the issue was that when I received it it had a little over 162000 miles on it instead of the 102000 miles shown on the Odometer. I asked if anything was wrong but he said no and I should only have to fix a few thing In the future but I had an engine coolant leak, an oil line leak, the window didn’t work, the air conditioner didn’t line had a leak, had to replace the brakes, and a few more things. The lying about the mileage was the biggest issue for me though. But the car was over all decent but it’s due to the da t I had money to replace things that should’ve been told to me before hand.
