First, everything happened as scheduled from pickup, crating, shipment to delivery. Secondly, their sales department (especially a gal by the name of Sandy) was a sheer pleasure to communicate with. My concerns over the shipment of a 100 year old antique were quickly removed when I started to uncrate the shipment and saw the delicate packing technique used in handling such an object. It took me two days to dismantle the crate ... but who cares. Great job Craters & Freighters, thank you.

I was driving on M-40 NB near Hamilton MI when one of your drivers sped up to 70 mph in a 55 in an attempt to pass me just as the passing lane was ended. The lane was ending so I had to get over, so your driver decided to tailgate me into town. I pulled into a left turn lane in an attempt to get vehicle information. You should not tolerate aggressive driving.

NTA Limited: We loaded a load these people on 8/11 delivered next morning in GA. We had an 4 hours unloading. I reported it on 8/12 last reply from this company was 8/12 @ 10:12 am and this person has not return a single email ever since this day. Today is 8/29. Do not haul these people if you have any hope of getting detention.

TE WA: So my experience here is actually good. I'm still here and looking to put another truck in. My relationship with UACL has been great. Communication is key. Being professional is key. They have shown me that they are capable of both. Jerry's my guy. He goes above and beyond to make sure I'm good. Very kind person. Debbie works payroll and works with drivers and is willing to help you understand if you have any confusion or doubt. She is really good at clarifying what you need to do in order to be paid on time and right. Just dont blow your top. She's there to help. Brandon's straight to the point "What can I do for you?" Brandon I need A-Z. "Boom bam bodda bingo boom.... pow. All set." All business. Those are the main people I speak to on a regular. I forget names too but the whole squad is ready to assist. They really answer the phones everytime I call. That in itself is priceless. No slacking all action. If you come to work they got your back. If you mess up somewhere communicate. And dont break trust by lying. It doesn't do you or the company any good.

I've BOL that they double broke my freight and will attached.

It’s unbelievable on how damaged the door and fender were and both are completely useless.The fender was crinkled flat from things being stacked on top when it was posted as unstackable freight and the door had black dents and lines from the forklift as well as one of the corners bent.I opened a claim and 2 weeks later they responded by saying their insurance can only pay $9 dollars for the destroyed and useless door and fender. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS !!! This company is a joke and don’t care about their customers or freight. If you want your products delivered in the same condition it was shipped and don’t want to lose hundreds of dollars worth of damage, then use a different company.

Such as consolidating and more effectively distributing certain access authorities into the hands of the people who are making the decisions rather than individuals hundres of miles away who don't have eyes, or hands, on a specific situation.But aside from that; as just a driver -- You'll never find a local trucking job that's gonna give you the pay, the flexibility, the hours, the PTO, or the commradery. My encounter was with a young girl who was sweet and a young man, who was just the same.Having said that, I wouldn’t have passport photos taken there. Because their camera/photo quality is pretty awful, with pale white light in the room which makes your photos just dreadful.In addition to that, when I called before going in the store, they said PP photos were $15, when I actually paid, they were close to $20. It’s hard to justify $20 for two little but horrible photos lolIt’s not the workers fault. But you end up feeling dissatisfied.I went to Walgreens, had my photos taken, they were outstanding. And for slightly less than what I paid at UPS.

Tamara Lake: Wish I could put no stars. Employee at Warren location wasn’t trying to help me at all. Needed help finding my package that was marked as delivered, girl with black hair and browner skin (not black) didn’t want to be helpful at all. Explained my situation ,package was sent from Amazon but delivered through UPS. Girl immediately said call Amazon it’s not through them I have to call Amazon. She didn’t even try even though one of her employees told her that she could search it. He ended up having her search it anyways and her response was it says it was delivered. Even though I told her the reason I was here was because that it said it was delivered and it wasn’t. She also told me that sometimes they mark it as delivered and it will come later. Which is something I’ve never had to deal with, so I’m kinda on the fence about that. Moral of the story is if she needed a mental health day (like all of us) she could’ve did that instead of coming to work and being impatient with customers and not trying to be helpful. Won’t see me back here again.

Jacob Novak: Don't do it professional drivers. Everything seemed fine until orientation. If you crash and your body flies out of your window, they will show that video to new hires in orientation. They don't respect drivers. The parking lot for drivers is in the exterior of the gated area next to the road. It's detroit near 8 mile. So basically their equipment is gated but our personal vehicles are not. Good luck with that. Trucks look decent outside, but inside, they were filthy, with dog hairs in the bed area. They didn't bother cleaning it or putting a bed in the truck, and the bottom bunk diner cushions were gone. The drawers were hanging out broken because duck tape didn't hold them together. And our personal cars were not allowed where trucks are. So have fun unloading your things into your truck. Also, you will have to download 3 apps on your phone so they can keep track and message you. The tablet on the truck is removable, and you are responsible for it. Apparently, the tablet is $300. Take it home with you or let it get stolen. They take $1000 escrow. Heavy accents for dispatchers. They claim to have newer trucks, and they sure dont (if they have one, its not for you). I'm sorry that this negatively affects your company, but I just don't want my fellow drivers to be treated poorly. Keep trucking!

Dispatch forgot to send me my load information, then turned around and tried to blame it on me. If that wasn't enough, they literally shorted me half my paycheck. They will tell you in orientation that if you get pulled into a weigh station, you're getting a "LEVEL II" Inspection, due to the fact that their CSA score is so high. If you plan on making a career out of the Transportation Industry, DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!! You'll literally lose your license in one Inspection!
