DJ’s Bakery: what do users think?
Keshia Bush: DJ's is my go to bakery for doughnuts, muffins, pretzels, vietnamese iced coffee, pastries, etc. Yummy yummy yummy! And the staff is absolutely kind and fast! Hands down you must go in and give em a try if your in A2 and haven't been!!!
Jesters Jinx (меss¡ан): My wife and I go here weekly on the weekends, family owned and very sweet.
Valerie Eaglin: Scrumptious!!!
Joshua Polaczyk: DJ’s is the spot!! Amazing donuts. Get an Apple fritter for sure. Also pro tip: get some ham and cheese pretzel rolls for lunch. You won’t regret it. Don’t miss these awesome treats.
Carol Corrao: Three words…OH MY GOD!!! Best bakery I’ve ever been to!
David Stone: Excellent bakery on the east side of Ann Arbor. Great doughnuts of both the yeast and cake variety. The bakery offers a wide variety of treats and makes pretzels and other baked goods. A convenient location to stop in as you enter or leave Ann Arbor. The filled doughnuts are generously filled and the doughnuts are light and fluffy in texture. Great cinnamon rolls and fritters as well.
Angela Myers: The dounuts are fresh, and delicious. Great place to get dounuts and coffee. My kids even beg to go here. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Sami Daher: Fresh donuts and very kind owner I won't get donuts from anywhere but here it’s like home made .very good people and family.Has been my go to place for a years, and will always be thanks again.
RJ Stephens: Donuts are huge. Customer service is a no. Rushed out the door. Hurry up and buy!! Great selection just don't take too long other Customer more important than black lady! "Hello white man oh! take ya time, your money is greener than this lady's "
Eddie Smith: This is a really great bakery! We have purchased pastries here more than 50 times. There is always an excellent selection of sweet, and even some savory, pastries with competitive pricing. In fact, the combination of DJ's products and prices are probably impossible to beat in terms of value. Additionally, the service is always friendly and helpful. The only criticisms are that (1) the atmosphere is pretty bland, (2) the location isn't that great, (3) the small parking lot is usually too crowded during breakfast hours and there's no room to park, and (4) the ingredients are probably not the healthiest even in terms of making pastries (e.g., no organic ingredients, lots of trans fats, etc.). On this last point, I am making an assumption based on the complete lack of advertising regarding ingredients, but I could be wrong and DJ's might use some of the best and healthiest ingredients for making pastry. Nonetheless, the wide selection of excellent tasting pastries, the consistently friendly service, and the competitive prices still earn DJ's Bakery a full five stars! A must try if you live in the A2-Ypsi area and love pastries!
Nicole Valentine: Always a go to for fresh and delicious donuts for myself and my friends.
Ezzeldin Elkhouli: Super top notch donuts. Worth the 20+ mile drive!
Cosima Boswell: Absolutely amazing donuts and just the best customer service. We couldn't recommend this place more. Best Apple fritter EVER and my kids LOVE DJ'd!
Matt: Don’t skip out on this place while you visit the Ann Arbor area! $2 for most donuts and they’re absolutely delicious. Come early— they tend to sell out of most flavors before 12!
Patrick Kane: Nice family run donut shop. Prices are good, service is quick. Serves all the classic donuts. My only complaint is with the cinnamon rolls. They lack any hint of cinnamon. Basically a glazed donut wrapped in a circle.
Andrww Gutowski: Best donuts in the area!
Ahlam Yousef: Best donuts I ever had, always fresh
Nathan Parker: Some of the best donuts I've had in the AA area. Not quite Winchell's (out West) or Shipley's (Texas), but currently my new favorite.
Norma Martinez: As always, delicious donuts and pretzels. The service is great, staff is always kind and patient.
Travis: Out of my glazed old fashioned that I love but their glazed cake donut was amazing girl that served me was very nice
Peter Hofesmann: My favorite bakery. The friendliest person serving the best product. My favorite: cheese danish, filled pretzel bun and the nut cake. Just awesome. I'm glad I live to far away to go there daily.

Peace, Love and Little Donuts of Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Basil Khaja: Seriously some of the best donuts I've ever had! We went in assuming the donuts were the kind that just look fancy and are great for taking pictures of, but surprisingly they tasted amazing! We tried 1 dozen assorted ones and not a single one was bad. The girl working and making the donuts was also very polite and friendly. 1000% will be back amd bring friends next time!
Notyour Business: Long wait. More staff seems necessary. Tasty, not worth it.
Vivian Esquivel: YummmmmmmmmmmMmmmm
Krista Ridley: These little donuts were fresh and delicious. This is the perfect bite size treat. I usually prefer yeast donuts, but these were soft and moist with the most fun toppings and such a huge variety!! The service was super friendly and professional. I love that every customer was greeted upon arrival. What a great place to bring the kids or even for a sweet treat after a date. I'll definitely be back.
Ted Milonski: Love the selection, love the service. So glad to have one of these in our area.
Tharider J: These are the best doughnuts I've had in a long time...and trust me, I've tried a lot of different doughnuts. Nice young lady gave me a sample during visit and they were so tasty I had to go back the next day for more. They are much smaller than typical which I prefer as it reduces guilt of enjoying a good doughnut. Service is great and prices reasonable for a fresh, high quality, custom made to order doughnut.
Linda Roob: The workers were so cute and sweet and the donuts look amazing!
Rachel Perry: Love this place! They make beautiful little treats and have a very kind staff. As a local business owner myself, It’s evident to me from just one visit that the details matter here. They go above and beyond in customer service.
Zahraa Rawdhan: Love their donuts, perfect size and amazing flavors.
Jennifer Peggs: Great donuts 🍩
Emily Howell: Over the top customer service and BOMB donuts. I picked up a large order for a birthday celebration this morning and was greeted by the kindest staff. Donuts got rave reviews too! Sugar donut & banana split were personal favs. I seriously will never get my donuts from anywhere else.
Sophia Beebe: the best donuts ever!! Somehow when they’re smaller they taste better? and they are always warm!
Neda Berenjian: Perfect place to get donuts! They are the perfect size and have so many options! Got these donuts for my staff at work and they were all eaten by the end of the day. They have so many different flavors I look forward to trying them all!
Dan Gunter: Very cool place that we just sort of randomly stumbled across. There is a huge supply of various iterations of basically donut holes. You can very toppings feelings to your heart's content. Great place that we were very thrilled to find, made for a nice snack midway through the day. We will be back when we're in the area.
Emilia Fichter: It's a cute spot for tiny bites. These are really well decorated and sugar can easily surpass the flavor of the dough. However if you go with a family or with a serious craving for volume (carbs) this is not your place. Prices are on the high side. Staff is nice but you get the feeling you can't sit and eat because the place is nested at another business.
Kaye Damoth: Absolutely delicious food and the employees are always so good to us! The doggos love their doggy donuts too!
Priscilla Esquivel: My favorite new donut shop, great service, lovely atmosphere.
Becky: Great vibe and even better donuts! So many flavors, this is my love language 😆 😋😍
Michael Zietlow: Little donuts with a lot of flavor. The donut's cake is perfectly soft on the inside with a crispy exterior. The donuts are made to order and worth the short wait. The pumpkin cake donuts are amazing. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely come again.
Nicholas “Quazzy” Herd: I had an original donut and one speciality. Great service (made right in front of me) and the donut lady even took the photo for me
DeShawn Hayes: Great service and good energy! Each donut is handmade/designed in front of you. I ordered a dozen and had the young ladies working make their own variations. I also ordered a chicken shawarma bowl from the Mediterranean spot “Ahmo’s” in the same building.

Ryan Thummel: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Christina Foran: Great atmosphere and drinks!
Shannon Gibbons: 5 STARS! Best staff, ample seating, insane breakfast burritos, the ability to switch from coffee to beer by happy hour, online ordering when needed, and GREAT COFFEE. They recently hosted a BINGO night with affogatos, a cocktail/mocktail menu, and a great moderator- such a fun date night!
Ashlee Goovaerts: Come here quite often to work or hang out with friends. The vibe is perfect! The service is fabulous and the coffee is incredible 🤤 They even hosted a Bingo night last night and it was such fun - with delicious affogatos included! Honestly, this spot has become my favorite hangout in Ann Arbor!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pour Over, Pour over Coffee Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More

Ross Zoet: Enjoyed an affogato during bingo night!Great atmosphere. Inclusive vibes. Lots of laughs…Definitely a must visit in A2 :)Parking: Easy free parking. Lots of space.

Mike Reviews: Great coffee, but they need to work on the wait time. You can expect 15+ minutes for a burritoFood: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
msbionikaa: So, this is the best european standards breakfast I’ve had in A2. Normal sized portions, high quality healthy ingredients, reasonable prices, modern vibes. But more importantly, the taste! The food is outrageously good. And the pour over coffee is an actual specialty kind, not just the “wana-seem-specialty-but-still-your-regular-cheap-kind” that they offer in pretty much any expensive trendy coffee shop in town.
Angela H. Chih: Great coffee and atmosphere!Recommended dishes Pour over Coffee, Corned Beef Hash Sandwich, Queen Bee Latte …More
Cindy M: The best thing about this place is the atmosphere!! It's tucked away off of Jackson Rd and was very busy for the location, but not overwhelming at all. The outdoor area is so welcoming and even dog friendly!! What a great place to go to and catch up with a friend, on a beautiful day!! I had a refreshing blackberry iced tea that was really good! I would definitely recommend because of their set up. They also had indoor sitting areas, as well. Very cool place!!
ruby somers: This is my favorite coffee shop in all of michigan! It has a lovely atmosphere with even more lovely staff. The drinks are all amazing and the food is top tier. I forgot his name but it was something with an m and he made the best loaded tots ive ever had. Definitely a shop worth visiting
Avram Liebowitz: Very cool and fascinating establishment! Great place to grab a coffee or a beer! Unique style and location, very clean all the way around.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Leela Aiyagari: I’ve been going to Dozer for over a year now and I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff, the vibe, the coffee, the pastries, everything is wonderful. The environment is great for studying in, and the drinks are delicious. The whole staff is incredible but a special shout out to Davied and Emily whom I’ve come to know as truly wonderful human beings. Whether you’re a townie or just visiting this place is a must
Maggie Stansley: The coffee, food and location are spectacular but it’s the staff that really make Dozer a wonderful place!!Kid-friendliness: My husband and I LOVE bringing our children here for coffee and breakfast on the weekends. The staff there are absolutely amazing and always so sweet to our kids! Ann Arbor is lucky to have a spot like this!! #dozercoffeeforever
Ziggy Gottlieb: Dozer is always amazing! I am there probably too much for my wallet, but it's worth it. The coffee is always great, the food is delicious, and they are always making new and fun things. Also the staff go above and beyond to be kind and get to know their customers. Never had a bad experience.
Megan Lane: Dozer is a great place for working on the weekdays and hanging out on the weekends. We love their specialty lattes, drip coffee (we like Point Nothing), and a variety of baked goods and special order items.
Marnie B: I've been coming here since they first opened and it's one of my favorite coffee shops in Ann Arbor. The staff is very friendly and kind. There is ample parking, ample seating (inside and outside), a great ambience, and the coffee is high quality. My fave drinks to get here are a pourover and their ganache mocha.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pour over Coffee Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Derek Collard: The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. This shop has a really great atmosphere and the staff are a huge part of that! Such a good vibe and amazing drinks! ❤️❤️❤️Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Donuts Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Rian Hill: Absolutely lovely place! The atmosphere is quiet, but a light and airy kind that just makes you feel good. The coffee was good, but I am noticing a trend throughout the small shops I visit of there being a slightly burnt taste, is very dark roast just a preference here in MI? The BART tots were also delicious if a bit greasy, save those tomatoes for a palate cleanser 😆! Or have some water on your person 😄. The carrot muffin was divine and totally worth every cent! My only regret is that I couldn't try all the baked items at once, but that is what future visits are for. A bit more on the spendy side, but it is a more upscale place and I think they do fairly well matching size to price, even if it is the high end of the price scale 😉. 9/10 would recommend.Dietary restrictions: A little bit limited on the alternative kinds of milk, but oat is a good cover-all for most coffees. I do prefer almond for mochas, as its consistency is closer to dairy, but I got a latte and so oat was perfectly fine

K Bro: Obscene price for the coconut drink. I was visiting from New York and paid 8 dollars for an iced drink. It wasn’t tasty at all so I asked for a regular iced latte. They took the drink back and made me pay for a new drink. The iced latte tasted really bitter and watered down. My husbands regular hot latte was okay. Not going there again.
BillionaireFaith: Best blueberry Latta I have ever had. 😋
Pannaphat Scott: Great place to have some nice coffee and relaxed vibe in the morning. I come here several times for my favorite breakfast its a Turkey Panini I got to say this got me hook! 🍞🥐☕️ I will keep come back to check out other menu as well 😸 but overall this place is great and chill~Ps. My drink in the pictures is “Earth day matcha Latte” 🌎🍃 I’m not sure if this will be seasonal drink or all time but you should try if you like matcha
Eddie Smith: Delicious coffee, good service, clean restrooms, and a great facility... except for parking :/Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available.

The ginger flavored cone was unique and delicious....never had before. However did not give full points on the service ...because the barista went away chatting with another person while I stood there waiting for my order. Everyone else was served. Since nothing was mentioned on why mine took so long . .I have to call it out.

Kevin Bohannon: $3.75 for a 12 oz black coffee from a carafe?I'm not sold. It's easily the most expensive non-pour-over brewed coffee I've had in Washtenaw County. You should be way more upfront about why what you're serving is special. Like, $2 of that better have gone to a farmer in Ethiopia. It tastes fine, but not $0.33 an ounce fine.Edit: First, I said your coffee tasted fine. The negatives in my review were about price and your business's story telling. Maybe if you, oh, I dunno, had prices on your menu I wouldn't have been so put off. I'm giving you a customer perspective. That said, I literally have a spreadsheet of coffee prices in Ann Arbor. I'd share it with you, but I'm not running your coffee business for you. Here's one piece of data: the next highest price I've paid for a cup of drip coffee is $3.50 for a 20oz at Ann Arbor Roasting Company. Are you telling me that every high quality coffee shop in A2 isn't making money selling coffee? I'll even give the benefit of the doubt that black coffee is a loss leader. But then you are leading with the lowest loss I've seen around.Your business is failing at telling the story of your coffee... even on your website. That story is part of being "third wave" lol. If you aren't making money on coffee maybe you should move your business somewhere with lower rent or chose a different business model. As it stands, I'd say you're a just profiteer of the New Ann Arbor™
Wayne Nesmith: Awesome Coffee Cave ! Fabulous finished basement feel ! Unique Coffee, friendly staff. If I could, I would compliment the ownerFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joshua Jones: I had not been there for years, but a barista at Cafe Liv recommended their beans. I was very impressed with where they had come. Initially their lattes tasted like they were brewed in bus muffler, like Biggby. But, upon trying them now, so much difference. I put it on par with mighty good and roos. They are roasting their own beans now. I enjoyed their Burundi, Holidays Blend. and Victor's blend (Espresso). However, their Cafe Liv blend (exclusive to that cafe) is worth the trip to ypsilanti. Their staff are pleasant, but my first return trip on a Sunday afternoon, they seemed not in good spirits. But early Saturday morning, they were friendly and chipper. The atmosphere has the diesel character. Baked goods are nice too. Plenty of Gelato. Tea selection good, but their tea lattes are not great. Parking and Location are tricky if not a walker. Seating is good. Also close enough for a stroll around that part of A2. No notes on the bathroom yet.Vegetarian options: most everything but the meat sandwiches is vegetarian or has options.Kid-friendliness: plenty of kid friendly foods. Also hot chocolate, steamers, and tea.Parking: Limited spots due to location.
Caroline Miller: The coffee is great 😊 However, my partner and I were looking for a bite to eat after a long day of travel. We both ordered paninis. They were tasty but very small in portion and way way overpriced for their value. I would not recommend getting food from them.

RoosRoast Coffee: what do users think?
Alicia Schmidt: I work in one of the businesses nearby, so I've been going to this RoosRoast location for a couple of years. I had to make a review just to emphasize how much of a grown jewel this coffee shop is on Ann Arbor's crown. The coffee is superb, the employees are such a delight, and the aesthetic is awesome! I love that so many different people get together here: families, college students, and everything in-between. A lovely place indeed.
Dottie: I love coming to the Rosewood location versus Liberty as it is quieter, easier to park, and you have more room outside to sit and enjoy the weather (no matter even if it is raining) & your coffee. There are 3 sizes to the cappucino now for everyone’s needs - the small, the next size up from the traditional, is like a latte but with a stronger coffee flavor. They use Calder’s dairy and Oatly for oat milk - the best brands for dairy and a milk alternative in my opinion. You can taste the difference! The baked goods are consistently delicious - a little on the pricey side which is why I would give 4 stars but 5 stars for taste! I like that they rotate bakeries as well. The staff are kind & friendly - I’ve never had a bad experience. I like that I can ask them how they are and that they do the same - even if it’s a busier day. Those little moments of connection are precious and have helped me through some challenging times & this place was a source of comfort where I could escape. It’s quirky, eco-friendly, and yummy. If you come to AA, you have to make a stop here!
Eric Stuard: My favorite coffee on the face of this planet 🌎 (go visit!!). Always friendly, inclusive, and delicious.
