It's been over a decade since I've been in, but I'm spending a lot of time in Ann Arbor recently while my wife receives care at Mott, and what can I say? It still hits the spot just like it did way back when. I'm no longer a vegetarian, but Meghan's falafel pita still satisfies as an omnivore. Just delicious. I definitely won't wait another decade to go back.

Sunnee Thao: Being right next to the U of M, its a nice location to be. Parking is on the street so can be hard to find if it is a busy time. Went at 12 on a Wednesday and there was enough space for us. We dined in and got seated right away with our food being delivered very quickly after placing orders. I got the chicken shawarma with 2 sides, the salad and hummus and 2 falafel patties. The chicken shawarma was soooo good. It came with a yogurt almost tzatziki like sauce and was cool and refreshing to match the amazing seasoned chicken. It was served with some brown rice that was amazingly done (4/5). The salad was refreshing and had some toasted pita bread on it for a crunch and was perfect for the summer heat (4/5). The hummus was one of the best hummus I've ever had, perfect in its taste (5/5). Lastly, the falafel patties, they were a bit crunchy and done on the outside but it was still so good when you get to he flavor in the middle (3.5/5). Lastly, couldn't leave without the dessert, pistachio baklava. This was so delicious and flaky. The amount of sweetness matched with the pistachio saltyness, one if the best baklava I've had (4.5/5). The atmosphere matches the food perfectly and service was friendly, would def visit again!

I finally was able to move to Ann Arbor a few months ago and realized most of the food (not all) in this city is very expensive for the lack of flavor. I have to tell you, their food was my savior. Literally finally something worth eating out for, everything is great. The Kareemo is my favorite, it’s worth the expense, it is literally the only “sandwich” in the area I will pay money for. And everybody is so chill! Once I went in and there was a lil guy, clearly somebody’s kid ringing us up and that brought me BACK. Kids in my family all the time used to help out at the restaurant or just come to work with their parents. It let me know this is the kind of business I wanna support. Riley Berens: This restaurant is very clean, our kids are into all of their decor and I never saw dust or stains. The food is good, they even have a kids menu that's not on the website.Kid-friendliness: For years we never went to this restaurant because we didn't think they had a kids Menu. I can't remember all the options but our kids are chicken strips, with rice and a blended lemonade and Mac and cheese with potato wedges and a Mango and strawberry smoothie.Parking: Lots of Parking available

Pamela Bennett: We went in to have dinner for our second time on Sunday 8-21. We got Hoda as our server again. Very cheerful and efficient with fulfilling all of our service needs. The food is unbelievably delicious! The Coconut Shrimp Appetizer..scrumptious! The Moroccan Soup has a spicy, hearty vegetable goodness! E J: The palace itself, the food and most notably our server Hoda, made this one of the most memorable and enjoyable meals of my life. The flavors of Lebanon brought me back to my childhood, the grape leaves were perfect. The chicken shawarma phenomenal. Ask to be seated in Hoda’s section. You’ll feel like you’re at your aunt’s house getting stuffed as plate after plate of delicious food is brought to you. Amazing 10/10
