Thiago Kitazawa: The food is delicious and comes very quickly. Be mindful that the portions are large.Recommended dishes Meat Grape Leaves …More
Sunnee Thao: Being right next to the U of M, its a nice location to be. Parking is on the street so can be hard to find if it is a busy time. Went at 12 on a Wednesday and there was enough space for us. We dined in and got seated right away with our food being delivered very quickly after placing orders. I got the chicken shawarma with 2 sides, the salad and hummus and 2 falafel patties. The chicken shawarma was soooo good. It came with a yogurt almost tzatziki like sauce and was cool and refreshing to match the amazing seasoned chicken. It was served with some brown rice that was amazingly done (4/5). The salad was refreshing and had some toasted pita bread on it for a crunch and was perfect for the summer heat (4/5). The hummus was one of the best hummus I've ever had, perfect in its taste (5/5). Lastly, the falafel patties, they were a bit crunchy and done on the outside but it was still so good when you get to he flavor in the middle (3.5/5). Lastly, couldn't leave without the dessert, pistachio baklava. This was so delicious and flaky. The amount of sweetness matched with the pistachio saltyness, one if the best baklava I've had (4.5/5). The atmosphere matches the food perfectly and service was friendly, would def visit again!
Kelsey M: The food here is absolutely delicious, and the prices are reasonable. You order your food and pay at the register and they bring it out to you, so you're not dealing with a server. The rice pudding is wonderful here, along with everything else!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
C C: Staple of the community. The quality is consistent. It’s never too greasy and always delicious! You can eat pretty healthy for a decent price. I usually do the falafel, hummus and veggies and some fries to balance it out. ;)
Peggy Bennett: Great food. Wish we had a restaurant out by me in Summit Twp.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Nancy Litch: The food is fabulous, the portions are huge.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Reza Sahba: Good food, nice ambient, friendly staff
Jake Li: Kafka is the best bang for your buck. Don't get the grape leaves, that dish barely has any meat
Stephanie O'Callaghan: Used to go here in college when it was around the block in a tiny space and loved it. First time coming here in its newer space and really enjoyed it! You order at the front counter for take out or dine in and then they give you a number to place on your table. The food came out pretty fast and all the staff was very nice. Was lucky to have nice weather to enjoy the patio! Loved everything I got! Great falafel with hummus and baba ghanoush. Also really enjoyed the lentil soup.
K R: How on Earth is this place rated so high? Totally inauthentic Mediterranean food by far!!! The the fattoush salad and tabbouleh appetizer were exactly the same thing and who puts romaine lettuce in a chicken shawarma? Not to mention you order at the counter and then the rude girls working there expect a tip!!! They better be thankful we even gave them five bucks I wanted to leave 0!!!
Ella Pace: Made an online order, went in to pick it up and was told the order was never made. Showed the staff the charge on my card and the order receipt and was told it wasn’t their problem. They refused to give me the order and told me to place the same order again (and pay for it again) if I wanted the food. The staff was very rude and dismissive without provocation.
Max Monegan: Their system for seating and ordering is.... Interesting. However, the food was fantastic.Vegetarian options: Lots of good choices
Elif Saglik: Love Jerusalem Garden! If you’re looking for a new restaurant to try, this is the place! Their food is extremely delicious and clearly well-prepped with clean ingredients. Their service is also one of the best I’ve experienced. Their staff is extremely kind, caring, and helpful and after a couple of dinners there, they recognized us easily. 10/10 would recommend. Hasn’t failed me ever.
Grace Su Ming: Food was yummy, the con is the portions are a little small for the price. The fattoush salad was decent, hummus is yummy! I wish the hummus came with more bread, it came with maybe 2 pieces of bread. Staff very kind. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Love that it is Palestinian owned!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian optionDietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian and vegan options

Vikram Bala: It's a decent place. I like the food and I'd certainly say it's above average. The chicken shawarma is delicious and the rice goes hard. Interestingly enough, I find the catering options tastier than the dine-in options, but that might just be me. Definitely worth a visit.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Pita Bread, Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, Chicken Shawarma Meal, Pistachio Baklava, Chicken with Rice Meal …More

A D: Dined outside. 80 degrees. Refreshing tea with lemonade infused with rose water with exotic meal. Tahini blended with olive oil and spices served with pita, made a tasty beginning to the meal. Chicken Beryani (chicken with rice, onion, garlic and curry with raisins) smelled as amazing and as inviting as it tasted. It came with a side of fattoush. Delicious meal combinations of flavors and smells rose, lemons, curry and more …. Delicious

Baba Dari Mediterranean Grill: what do users think?
Fey Fishy: -Expensive-Tasty wraps-Abysmal, tiny portions-Disinterested, distracted employeesFood was good, but as you can see very little food for $91. Small baba ganoush costs $4 and literally was just a sauce cup worth. Rice was $5 and wasn't impressive size wise and wasn't even garnished. The largest portion of food was the fattoush salad.I ordered my food over 2 hours early for pickup at 4:15, I had to wait 17 minutes for it to be ready with only two other customers eating in the store. I'm all for employees to be comfortable at work(they had earbuds in), but they were talking with family/off the clock employee behind the counter. Didn't apologize for my wait, and if I hadn't checked through my order then they would have let me walk out without two $6 drinks. They were pretty uninterested and distracted. Upgraded my drinks for free($1 value) but didn't apologize for forgetting them in the first place. This place is best for takeout-lunch, look somewhere else if you want decent service, or fair food portions for money. Inside of the restaurant is pretty boring looking and undecorated, wouldn't suggest dining in.Parking: Few parking spaces in front of restaurant, in a very awkward spot.

Daryl Johnson: I ordered the chicken shawarma with extra garlic sauce and it was extremely delicious. I was very appreciative for God letting me have taste buds. Good job Baba Dari! 🙌
Viv N: I ordered a lg baba Ganoush. They basically dumped the small into the large, added a colorful spice, and charged me for the large. It is a little bit out of the way and absolutely not worth itFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Ruth Ann Buntin: I love their service and the atmosphere. However, I felt the food, in particular the chicken, wasn't as well seasoned as in times past.I was a little disappointed, but their service made the experience worth it.
Jason Makonehan: Hungry for iftar, 20 dollar bowl maybe gets you three strands of chicken and beef. Complete robbery. Not even good food either. do not wase your money here.
stephanie peck: The best lentil soup!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Tabouli, Chicken Shawarma Bowl, Shawarma, Baklava, Garlic, Greek Salad …More
Vic Bullard: The food tasted good but the portion was not worth the $14.81 I paid. I ordered a shawarma bowl and when I finished I was no where near full. Drinks were $3.75 which is really expensive.
Arjo Mukherjee: Amazing food! I have lived in the Middle East for a very long time and Baba Dari reminds of my childhood and has a unique taste to its food. It's a must try!
Fareha Mir: We stopped for a quick bite while driving through the town and got 3 beef shawarma wraps and 1 falafel wrap and 1 tabbouli salad. Jami A: This 1-star review is based purely on the taste of my chicken shawarma sandwich... it was abysmal. Even my toddler refused to eat it, and chicken shawarma is one of his favorite treats. This sandwich’s chicken tasted like dead animal. There was only a smidge of garlic to hide the taste. Absolutely nauseating. Two other quick observations: 1) I was told my order would take 10 minutes, but it took 30, and 2) only one sandwich was made; I’d ordered two.
Trupti Khade: Fresh food, great place! What is even amazing is the service. I got something in my order that I didnt ask for and I told the server about it. He politely replaced my order, no questions asked! Truly an amazing place.
Avram Liebowitz: I got sick from eating the food here twice, the only two times I went. I've heard similar dismal stories from others that have been here. Very unfortunate.Food: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

The food is good, they even have a kids menu that's not on the website.Kid-friendliness: For years we never went to this restaurant because we didn't think they had a kids Menu. I can't remember all the options but our kids are chicken strips, with rice and a blended lemonade and Mac and cheese with potato wedges and a Mango and strawberry smoothie.Parking: Lots of Parking available
Roberto Velázquez: Muy buen restaurante, con buenos alimentos típicos del mediterráneo, a precios accesibles

Our server was super friendly and accommodating. And the dining room was lovely.Delicious... And SUCH a save that it was open for Christmas night!
Chris Rosenau: An absolute gem. The food is absolutely fantastic, yet still affordable. Between the unique architecture, and elaborate decor, the atmosphere is also very pleasant. My hostess was Hoda, who was very attentive and prompt.

The food is unbelievably delicious! The Coconut Shrimp Appetizer..scrumptious! The Moroccan Soup has a spicy, hearty vegetable goodness! The Shish Combo Shareable is enough deliciousness for a family of four. Needless to say that bread is warm and habitually delicious! I’m hooked! See you soon Hoda!😋Went back repeatedly for takeout and good packaging, hot and fresh when you get it home.Last night 5-24 got Hoda again for Dine In. E J: The palace itself, the food and most notably our server Hoda, made this one of the most memorable and enjoyable meals of my life. The flavors of Lebanon brought me back to my childhood, the grape leaves were perfect. The chicken shawarma phenomenal. Ask to be seated in Hoda’s section. You’ll feel like you’re at your aunt’s house getting stuffed as plate after plate of delicious food is brought to you. Amazing 10/10
Tony Spica: Food was excellent and the service was top notch. Our server was Hoda and she was very helpful for my friend who had a food allergy. Highly recommended.
Adreanna Doud: The food was very good and our server, Hoda was amazing. She was very friendly and funny. She accommodated us very well
Jacob Willett: Best middle eastern food ever. I've been flying back from LA to eat here. Hot fresh bread, garlic sauce, delicious lamb, and Hoda was a perfect server. We had a gluten free guy in our group and shared the feast. She split out his dinner and ensured he didn't get any gluten. Ten stars!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Beef Kabob, Baba Ganoush, Chops, Shish Tawook, Pita Bread …More
Michael Taillard: It's definitely a Lebanese restaurant, which means heavy, carnivorous dishes loaded with with fats and proteins. What I didn't expect was that each bite would be juicy, tender, and flavorful - not at all the gut stretching experience of choking-down dry beef and chicken that is typical of the style within SE Michigan.Side Note - I was skeptical of the Gaelic sauce and its reviews, too. Now I put it on everything they offer - meats, veggies, breads, everything. It's an amazing addition to the flavors (a bit overwhelming by the spoonful - don't try that).

Mohammad O. Zahran: Recommended dishes Chicken ShawarmaMore
Malcolm Davis: Excellent service and food
Kimberly Popovich: I moved away and was not present for my best friend's birthday. Because I could not bake the cake myself I was nervous about ordering one, as cakes are often too sweet and dredged in icing. I called Exotic Syrian because they have a specialty order Pistachio Cake. The woman on the phone was kind and patient with my questions. And the cake... "Perhaps one of the best I've ever had," he reported. Soft and fluffy, pistachio forward, with notes of orange blossom and rose water, and just enough icing to complement the medley of flavors, that took him to childhood memories of home. Thank you for the care that was put into this birthday surprise.
Jane Huggins: Wonderful food, but not currently open for dine-in
Sara Mangus: I have loved this place for years and years. Delicious food every time. The rice pudding is like little clouds of heaven. I only wish I could go there more often and that the rice pudding was in stock more often!!
Vikalp Aggarwal: We tried this place for a bday cake - Fruit Chaunte. They were very accommodating to make it on a small timeline ~30 hours. This place is run by only 1 person so feel free to email them on weekends to place the order.Needless to say, the cake was amazing and the cream was out of the world fresh.
Hank Greenspan: I love this place. Great people. And the best tabouli in the universe. No question.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rachel Lin: The falafel sandwich is really good!
CC: yum!!!¡!!!!!!!!
B K: Rice in mujadara was mealy; lentils were mushy. The dish was like a dry, stale, bean and rice porridge. Tasted like butter(?) had been added to the dish. No crispy onion. Loubieh (green beans in tomato sauce) tasted like commercial refrigerator burn, despite the woman’s assurance it had been made that morning (odd). Paid almost $20 for the two dishes. Had to throw both away they were so bad. Worst food I’ve had in years. Woman also warmed food in cheap clear plastic containers in the microwave without asking. Would have preferred to eat both cold. There’s much better to be had in AA for $20.
3cats Gaming: omg omg omg syrian burrito makmoor malmud amazing
Anna B: I've enjoyed this place for more then 15 years but haven't been in while. When they came to my mind I was excited about going to the counter and ordering all my favorites but to my disappointment they weren't open to the public due to lack of help. As a family business, I wondered if this is true or just the standard excuse that many use to push off your disappointment. Yet I was willing to conform to their system of ordering outside and waited for my over $35 order. They did come quickly with my order as I was the only one waiting outside. Even with this little bleep in the experience, I was still excited to get home and enjoy my favorites but to my major disappointment most of the items were not so good; the Kefta was dry and the Cucumber Yogurt tasted like the plastic container. The Spinach Devine was still able to hold its own. Usually I enjoy more then one meal with my ala carte ordering style but I had to throw it all in the trash. I'm only willing to go back if the deli/bakeries counter is open again to the public and I can see my options. I'm not really to give up yet on one of my A2 favorites so please Exotic take this feedback to heart!
Omar K: Chicken Shawarma was extremely dry and burnt. It was as dry as jerky. By far the worst I ever had.
Mary Schlitt: Used to work on the North side of Ann Arbor and was a frequent lunch customer. Now I dream about their food and try to create reasons to visit again. All the dishes in the case are fresh, flavorful and feel innately healthy. There are so many favorites but my go-tos are green beans with garlic, eggplant baba, spinach divine, cabbage type salad with pomegranate dressing, and mjaddra. Chicken fattoush salad is also plentiful with great dressing. Sooo, good. I've had catered meals from here as well and even catered my own birthday party once. Perfect little hidden gem, good place to take your vegan friends.
Ian Mashal: Wonderful food. True home cooked middle eastern food!
Kay Fedewa: Best meat pies in Michigan, hands down.
Zain Hameed: I have lived near Dearborn all my life and the spicy chicken shawarma is how I imagine the food in Jannah (Heaven) will taste like. Thank you for this paradise in Ann Arbor.
Sherry Bodel: Food is ok but very poor customer service. The driver missed my item and they just shrugged off.
Ehsan Olian: Super tasty foods and very nice people. Their mjeddarrah rice is very good, it has lentils and spices. I also tried aleppo which has eggplant and other vegetables. One of my favorite sandwiches is syrian burrito.
Meg Maxwell: This is one of my favorite places to eat in Ann Arbor. I adore the family who owns and runs this little gem. I have taken my children here for lunch for years. All the food is delicious and their cakes are amazing. ❤❤
Jake Arthur: This is my absolute favorite place in Ann Arbor (probably all of Michigan). I've had just about every item on the menu at this point and would order every single item every time if I could. It's even the best coffee in town if you ask me!The owner is amazing and is happy to make recommendations and changes to orders based on dietary restrictions. One of my parents is vegetarian and the other is gluten free but there was PLENTY of food for them to eat here and Tamara was awesome with helping them pick everything out.THEY ALSO DO AMAZING CUSTOM CAKES! This has become my go-to for all the cake in my life.Do yourself a favor and start eating here today.

Bak Lava: !!Attention Please!!This place has the BEST Baklava I’ve had!and plus the employees are super friendly.
VOID: This place is cool but they cannot compare to others for the price. Pita pita is way better. Off of Washtenaw in Ypsilanti. That's my personal opinion. Also you'll get out of there for less money. At pita pita 8 bucks can get you a 10/10 sandwich. 10 bucks here at pita king gets you a 6/10 at best.
Danielle Gilbert: Went for lunch, it was delicious!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Xochi Sanchez: I came to this city to get a degree, but commuted for most of it because I couldn’t afford the rent. I finally was able to move to Ann Arbor a few months ago and realized most of the food (not all) in this city is very expensive for the lack of flavor. I got the degree but am still going to be here for at least a few more years if not longer and I don’t always have the ability to cook. Given the situation, I was a little sad about it but figured I could just eat bland food once in a while when I had to get takeout. But THEN! I went into Pita King. I have to tell you, their food was my savior. Literally finally something worth eating out for, everything is great. The Kareemo is my favorite, it’s worth the expense, it is literally the only “sandwich” in the area I will pay money for. And everybody is so chill! Once I went in and there was a lil guy, clearly somebody’s kid ringing us up and that brought me BACK. Kids in my family all the time used to help out at the restaurant or just come to work with their parents. It let me know this is the kind of business I wanna support. (Also seemingly queer/trans femme friendly, as I am one, I’ve never had a problem 3)
Rachel Allman: Amazing food and very nice staff!Recommended dishes Gyro Sandwich, Fries …More
Christopher Demetriou: Delicious. Thank you.
Naresh Luthria: Great food with great attitude !!Eaten at many places and this is def in the top 5 …. The food is fresh and has plenty of flavour.Tried the chicken shawarma sandwich and the falafel sandwich.
Samantha Riga: Food is fresh, very tasty, and responsibility priced!
Hunter Mellinger: Spicy chicken is amazing.
N G: UPDATE: the store reached back out to me and made things right. They reimbursed my order and offered apologies for my experience today and the misunderstanding. Now THAT is the Pita King i know. Thank you Pita King!My coworker and I placed online orders for Pita King. I called them after I realized I somehow placed an order for 2 chicken Shawarmas, and asked if they could cancel the second order. They said sure that’s no problem, and I then told them as an aside, that my co worker was picking up the food for me. I get a call from them after her pickup that they accidentally gave her a wrong order and need us to come back. No offer for a discount or free sandwich for their blunder, but okay. At this point we won’t be able to have our work meeting at the office because of these delays. When she finally got that sorted and got back to the office, she gave me two chicken shawarmas. I called the Restaurant and asked, they claimed they thought I was telling them I was gifting the second sandwich to my co worker. What the heck, I understand work can be busy but that is just incompetent. Charged for both, for what’s now a cold meal.now sure I understand it was my fault for placing the double order, but then don’t tell me it’s taken care of when I call about it.
Rayan Kaakati, MD: It was good. I got the Ameero sandwich. A little pricey— I think it should come with the fries/drink (would be more reasonable). It was prepared fast for pick up.Takeout: Yes Delivery: Yes Curbside pickup: Yes …More
nguyentv05: These positive reviews are either a joke or fake reviews. This is the worst chicken shawarma. This shouldn’t even be allowed to be called chicken shawarma. But hey i used to live in dearborn so i dont know what i was expecting. Came because of the reviews after shopping at trader joes, but never again. Also, the WORST customer service ever. Chicken shawarma isn’t worth the hype. Overpriced and gross tasting 🤢Free gross sandwich? No thanks. I’ll drive the 45m to dearborn for real shawarma
Shane W: Ordered first time using Door Dash, food was tasty and of likewise quality. I will be back.
ok ready: Always quality food and great service. Reasonable priced

Pita Kabob Grill: what do users think?
Theo: Best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at
Noah Walker: The reason why I give this place high props is because what used to be called the Rhyz b harr and is now the Eggplant B-Harr is an excellent combination of garlicky, spicy, and cinnamony in the best way possible! Just note that this place is small with limited seating.
Rudraj Koppikar: Best Lamb Shawarma and Pistachio Baklava in A2Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Cajun Fries …More
Laura: I had a little indigestion with the beef… otherwise it is fine
DeMarque Spence: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma Pita, FriesMore
Deleted Xan: As a Lebanese person, this food is absolutely amazing and makes me feel like I’m home. Everything is authentic and made correctly. Tastes like my mothers food. Even the fries in the shawarma! Amazing.
Tyler B: Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma PitaMore
Brooke Halak: The food here is amazing and there is a lot of variety!! My favorite is the lamb kabob pita and it never misses especially with the garlic sauce. I’m always craving this and it’s always ready quickly for pickup. My go-to for sure!
Ehsan Zarshenas: I am surprised this food got a lot of good reviews! I ordered a meat platter online. Both chicken and beef were super dried out. I think the food was sitting on the counter for the whole day before they shipped it to me at the end of the day!!
Ibrahim El Halabi: Ordered dinner including yogurt drink (ayran). It came expired since October.Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma Sandwich …More
Deborah “Destinykids” Abodunrin: Wasn’t open when multiple days when it was stated to be open but overall good food but overpriced tho
Amaya Hall: The best Middle Eastern food in Ann Arbor!! It’s reasonably priced, and so so good. I get the eggplant b-harr pita every time and it’s always wonderful. One of the best things I’ve had in my life!
Jeffrey Micale: Eat here for lunch once a week. Consistently good, love the flavors and the staff are friendly.
Joe Xu: Nothing to write home about, there are much better options around town.
Antriksh Mutha: Got the Falafel Sandwich and Mujaddara. Sandwich was huge, taste was good but was a little dry. Would recommend adding some sauce in the sandwich. Mujaddara was mediocre and had no fried onions. Felt like I was having Indian Khichri. The restaurant doesn’t have a standard dine in. They have chairs and table outside to sit and enjoy the food.4 stars just because it’s open late at night.
Fischer: they forgot the pickles in both of my shawarmas… how do you do that?!?!?
Grace Su Ming: Many vegan and vegetarian options and always delicious and well seasoned. So many options and good size portions. Staff are awesome!
Martin P: Germ of middle eastern food
Noel French: Long ago, as a vegetarian undergraduate, I ate here at least once a week. It's been over a decade since I've been in, but I'm spending a lot of time in Ann Arbor recently while my wife receives care at Mott, and what can I say? It still hits the spot just like it did way back when. I'm no longer a vegetarian, but Meghan's falafel pita still satisfies as an omnivore. Just delicious. I definitely won't wait another decade to go back.
KARUTURI: It was recommended by a friendIt was okay not that greatOkay for evening snack
