I got, what I thought was an automated, text to schedule an appointment. Responded "Stop" to try to unsubscribe and got a horribly rude message back, posted below, saying, "Ok, don't call us then." This was totally unnecessary, and wildly unprofessional.I can only imagine what the in-person service is like. Grateful to have this experience before I potentially trusted this business with my face.

Kristen Mannion: Their cancellation policy is strict with absolutely no leeway, which is clearly stated, but it is still extremely disappointing. I ended up being charged to cancel an appointment I didn't want to cancel since I came into contact with someone who tested positive for Covid.I found out the night before my appointment that a friend I met over the weekend tested positive for Covid. I called The Brow Bar as soon as they opened and had to call three times to reach someone. Upon trying to reschedule, I was told a 50% cancellation fee was going to be charged; regardless of the fact that I may have Covid. I ended up cancelling (since rescheduling or cancelling less than 24 hours before an appointment results in the same charge) and accepting the charge since I didn't see much choice.

Abigail Cash: My brows look great after my tint and tweeze service yesterday. It was my first time at The Brow Bar and I’d recommend it to friends/family looking to get their brows done. She walked me through her process and idea for my brows and she executed everything flawlessly. Was quite costly though, more than I’ve ever paid for my brows - a little under $100 for tint/tweeze/tip; the treatment is expected to last for 6-8wk.

Devan Showerman: Extremely disappointed with my services. I spent $180 (tip included) and I look exactly the same as when I walked in. I went to get a lash lift and tint and brow tweeze and tint. The lash lift did not take at all. She even had to do it twice in hopes that it would be better. After the second time she said that they would lift over the next 24 hours. They did not at all! My lashes look exactly the same as when I walked in. STRAIGHT! And my brows, they’re not even symmetrical. I would advise you to not waste your time or money here. Very very disappointed.EDIT: SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! This was the response to my review from the owner:We are sorry that you were disappointed however before you left you said your eyebrows were perfect and exactly how you wanted them. We have a great photo of your brows and lashes. After you paid you returned to the back room to thank Ally again and tip her. Regarding your lashes Ally said you have extremely coarse and downward pointing lashes. They did lift but we did not want to over process you. Ally asked you to contact her after 24 hours if they did not lift further and she did not hear from you. She also said that you would need to wait at least two weeks before trying the lift again so the lashes would not over process and break off.This is just not true. I have many photos of my lashes and there is no lift whatsoever. After I paid, I did not return to the back to tip Ally. I tipped her $20 at the front desk immediately after I paid because she was very sweet and she did her best. Not her fault that my lashes didn’t take, however I should not have been charged full price. Ally did not tell me to contact her after 24 hours. She told me not to get them wet for 24 hours. Those were the only directions she gave me knowing it was my first time. She never mentioned anything about contacting her or how long I would have to wait to retry. Such a scam for peoples hard earned money and so unprofessional to respond to my review with lies. Absolutely ridiculous!Service:Eyelash enhancements

Kenzie Donaldson Yee: Extremely disappointed with my experience at The Brow Bar. I went in to get a lash lift, this was my first time getting one, which I shared with them. I paid $120 ($140 with tip) and my lashes stick straight out, they are not lifted at all. I honestly can't tell the difference between when I walked and when I left. I called after my appointment to share my concerns and was shocked with their complete lack of care or concern. I was told I could come back and pay for the service again and that I should 'ask for different rods' next time. They did not apologize nor offer to correct the lift (or lack there of). I ended the call by sharing that I was not comfortable going back and would be finding somewhere else to go, I was told 'that's fine'. They were very nice during my appointment, which is why I am giving them two stars instead of one. I would highly recommend staying away from this business.Service:Eyelash enhancements

L N: I've been to see Sarah on many occasions. She is absolutely the only one allowed to touch my brows: I'M not even allowed to touch my own brows. After an appointment with her and her eyebrow magic, I look years younger. Her expertise in making a full natural brow look beautiful is unmatched in this area. She also carries quality skin care products that are carefully chosen by her. My favorite at the moment is the Collagen Protect Moon Juice (it literally hydrated the dry, flaky skin under my eyes overnight). She takes safety during COVID very seriously and has precautions that make it comfortable for me to pick up from her store. Sarah is the best mix of professional and friendly, and has integrity. She will tell someone that they need to grow their brows out a bit more before service if needed, making her trustworthy.

Bee: I've had four appointments so far and if my stylist wasn't so darn good I would STOP going immediately(if things don't drastically improve I will take my business elsewhere).The last two appointments my credit card was charged without my permission or knowledge beyond the original fees and gratuity. I've had to contact the facility to find out what was going on because they don't, in anyway contact you first to acknowledge or correct their mistake.More importantly and MOST disturbingly my last two visits I've felt like I was intruding in on a girl's sleepover party.There are multiple staff members lingering in the lobby, sitting on the counters, legs draped over the chairs(like they're at home) watching Tik Tok on their phones, face timing with their friends, eating food that is spread all over the counters(obviously NOT working). Empty pop bottles on the tables in the lobby. The seats in the lobby were occupied by staff and NOT one staff member got up from a seat to offer a chair to me, A PAYING CUSTOMER!!Not only is it unprofessional, it's completely uncomfortable and not welcoming at all. It's disgusting, rude, thoughtless, bad business and completely takes away from the stylist and her exceptional work. I'm super disappointed and disturbed with what is going on.The first impression when a customer walks in the door is usually the longest lasting. Clean up your act ladies...behave like you're at work and not a sleepover. I pay good money and don't appreciate the lack of care and total disregard for your costumers. Take your break where you are supposed to... in the break room!! There is ALWAYS work to be done, instead of sitting around like you own the joint(wash windows, dust the shelves, sweep, go through inventory). You can do better than this!!If you don't have the good sense to take initiative while you're at work and ACTUALLY WORK....go home, stop waisting the owner's money and the customer's money, time and comfort!!THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED 😔🤢😫

I was excited for my appointment day to come because I am traveling out of the country and who doesn’t want pretty lashes for a trip! Well… once my service was done my lash technician asked me if my lashes usually take during a perm and then proceeded to brush my lashes and I immediately knew something was wrong. She explained to me that she didn’t understand why my lashes did not take because she followed every step for my perm. She continued to brush my lashes and then handed me a mirror and that’s when I seen my lashes had looked like nothing was done to them. She then left me on the bed and said she needed to go speak with her manager. When she came back she then attempted to convince me that my lashes were curled and I was all set to go even though she previously stated that my lashes did not take. I was upset and sad because I drove 45 minutes for my appointment but part of me understood that mistakes happen. When I went up to the desk the assistant manager immediately went outside and even looked at me on her way out! The receptionist wanted to check me out as normal as if my lash technician did not explain to them what had happened. As the assistant manager she should have spoke to me about my service and been apologetic for my service. But no! She left to go outside and stand in front of the building. Clearly the assistant manager does not understand her role and this business has a huge opportunity. When I questioned the receptionist about my service she immediately got up and ran outside to get the assistant manager. When the assistant manager came in she tried to convince me that my lashes took and they were going to charge me and offered no ways to accommodate me. When I told her that my lash technician even said my lashes did not take she then said they were going to accommodate me. Clearly she knew what was going on because she was so quick to accommodate me without speaking to the lash technician again. I see many opportunities for this business and I think additional training is needed in many areas.Service:Lash perms
