Jesse Spencer: Not only do I go here & love the cut every time (pic below of my latest cut), Linda did my hair for my wedding as well & her curls *actually* held up through the service & dinner. Which is super rare for my hair, it's very fine, super duper straight to the point I can't do anything with it most of the time.I also have sooo many family members (almost all of them actually!), both men & women, who come here as well & love the quality cuts they get at great prices! I've referred friends who changed salons!Linda also gave my son his first haircut & did a *phenomenal* job! He loved it & did great, she was able to cut around his ears which she mentioned to us later she can rarely do that on a first haircut as kids get squirmy; that's how comfortable she made him! We had to take him once when she was out of town to Fantastic Sam's, it was pic retake day; only to end up paying significantly more for a terrible cut & they freaked my poor guy out so badly; it took Linda several haircuts with him to get him to be back where he when we first started going.

Candy McFarlin: I have been getting manicures and pedicures from Ashli for years! She is creative and talented...whether I have natural short nails or gel extensions, she does beautiful work. She is friendly and warm, very easy to talk to during the services! My natural nails are very short, and she takes the time to be extra careful and gentle. She is also very helpful! Patricia Burgen: Ann my stylist cuts a great cut. I have curly hair and she can cut, shape and fix my hair problems. She is super knowledgeable about hair styles, products and has solutions to fit my certain needs. My hair is sliver/grey, which sometimes has a bothersome yellowing. I hate that. I found it's from my hard water. Ann knew just what to use to get rid of that yellow. My hair feels and looks fantastic. She listens well to my thoughts on what I want and has mad skills!Service:Shampoo conditioning

Annamarie Conley: My stylist is the owner and she has been caring for my hair for over 30 years. This Salon is not pretentious it's not overpriced, the staff is friendly and outgoing and the stylists are very good at what they do. You can have your hair done your nails done your feet done your face done and feel like a new person when you leave.
Shon Lang: Best salon I've been to. Great customer service, they always work with you to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. I personally have had a hard time with previous salons knowing what to do and what not to do with my ethnic hair which is long, dark, thick, and naturally wavy.Many people don't know how to work with that combination and one wrong cut or product can really mess things up.I go to Holly and feel like I have finally found someone that takes time to listen as and knows that you can't texurize or razor hair like mine.As far as color goes, she is great at coming up with techniques to get me what I want with the least amount of damage. She is also very transparent as to what will work and what won't and she always finds a way to get the look I want. I like getting highlights of different colors and in the past I've been told no that would not look good or we can't do that. Well, I get a couple different shades of blonde and light brown put in my hair and Holly has no problem doing it.If you want a great all around experience go see Holly at van burens salon 😀

I showed her the Pinterest pictures on my phone of the style I was going for....now at this length and ongoing. I had already read her reviews on this site and was impressed. She was very attentive (THANK YOU). She did not disappoint in any area. The salon itself is clean, busy, friendly, easy to find with ample parking. HOLLY was everything her reviews said and more.She is a perfectionist in her cuts (THANK YOU). She took her time And I walked out one VERY HAPPY new customer. This place is a gem of a find and that certainly includes HOLLY. The prices are very reasonable especially for Ann Arbor. I have found my new 💇🏻. YAY 😀😃😁 .
