Huron Valley Ambulance: what do users think?
Elaine Baublitz: HVA is such a great company, They have been assisting me with my son for the past 9 years. All the employees are so caring just love this company
Susana Sarasa: Huron Valley Insurance conducted and billed an EKG $611 on my healthy 18 year old son who is a UM student with a RASH.Insurance paid for treatment, buy won't pay for EKG. Manager Jessica is refusing to give me the contact information of the president and CEO of the company - Ron.Bill has been sent to collections. What a scam.
Natasha Richardson: Last night was the 2nd time I've had to call 911 for my daughter with Epilepsy within the last 5 months. Both times, Huron Valley Ambulance has transported us to a hospital due to her not coming out of her seizures. Both times, the EMT's that were dispatched to assist us in such a terrifying situation, were absolute Angel's and made the ordeal alot more easier to deal with. I wish I knew all 3 of their names, (1 gentleman was there for both times)but you know who you all are, and I cannot thank you enough for your professionalism, kindness, and understanding that you showed. You are all extremely appreciated by my family.
Peggy Reimers: Ryan and Kyle exceeded expectations during an unexpected situation. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and patience.
Lisa Raine: Micheal and JordanThank you both so much for what you do. Thank you for getting my mother to the hospital last night. Thank you both for taking the time to tell us what was going on so that we could understand. Also for Micheal for making a copy of her EKG for me to keep and writing down her vitals on index card so I could tell family members what was going on.Thank you both for doing what you do!!God Bless You BothThe Rousseau Family.
Gonzalo Ledesma: Horrible luguar el personal es pésimo son unos rasiciatas no me quisieron Aser mi prueba que por qué no estaba en el sistema aún estando lo y dos veces me sacaron sin querés aserme mi test
Donna Miller: I have used this company over a dozen times to transport me medically fragile sons from Traverse City to Ann Arbor and back. They have done a great job doing care and have some very smart staff. They did get lost a few of the times, so your GPS needs to be better. But the large majority of the trips have been very well done.
J W: I was in a near fatal car accident and I couldn’t walk for 9 months and needed to be transported everywhere on a stretcher. I’m terrified on being in any vehicle. The last of my 6 surgeries was recently in Jan. I had to again use ems transportation in order to attend my post op. This company 😘 I have had only positive and professional experiences. The first responders are compassionate and professional. They are strong! They are comforting! I have dealt with at least 10 of the first responders from this company, and would recommend this service for children and seniors as well as young adults! They follow protocol! They do the job safely and they are a very diverse and loving group of people.
Faith Hopp: I was not conscious when the 6 paramedics/EMTs were at our apartment, so I didn't get the chance to say THANK YOU for your excellent care and transport!
Tom Dejhoo: Had 3 negative experiences with the company. Once on the way to the hospital I was asked if I wanted the oxygen. I said no. I fell asleep and when we got to the hospital they put me on oxygen anyway! Then billed me $40 for something that I had refused. The other 2 times were dealing with a diabetic. One was the reaction to the questions. The person was out of it and slow to respond. The EMT "knew" that the person was on drugs and demanded to know what they were. Turns out that there were NO drugs in the system. Was a reaction to other issues. Would be nice if he had not made a determination that he was not qualified to make AND knew nothing about!!The 3rd was a cut and the EMT decided the diabetic person didn't need to go to the hospital. Then he got mad when it was decided that the person was going to go. He was rude all the way to the hospital. Maybe we cut into his lunch break.
Connie Galarneau: I would like to thank the 2 paramedics that responded to my call last night. I had a vein pop in my leg and was loosing alot of blood. One of the paramedics held pressure on my leg for over 30 min. I know his hand was tired but he didn't give up. I ended up going to the ER where i had to have 5 stitches to stop the bleeding. Thank you so much guys. You were great and really helped me to keep calm. God bless you all.
sylvia carter: My son was in a car accident on apr. 26 on grove rd. Before i could open my mouth to say hellow to my son and let him know i was there, i was yelled at by the paramedic that nobody is riding in here. It was so rude and unnecessary. I hadn't even fixed my mouth to ask. Also very embarrassed. Compassionate? I dont think so...
David Cook: I crashed my mountain bike on the DTE mountain bike trail. I ended up breaking my collarbone, 4 ribs, and fracturing my scapula. A paramedic named Zack and his partner (sorry forgot your name) along with 2 men from Chelsea FD (didn't get your names) carried me out of the woods on a board. The 1/2 mile walk was through very difficult terrain. It was very painful on me, but they were doing their best to get me to the hospital. Many thanks. Please pass this to all medics and firemen that helped me. They rocked it.
Dan: Was in a car accident (passenger), I declined getting in. The medic assured me the driver's insurance would coveer me, I still declined because I did not have health insurance. The medic proceeded to tell me I had to get in by law. Long story short they lied, my car insurance is supposed to cover it and it is not the law for me to get in. It cost me a lot of money.
Carmen Irizarry: I am grateful and very happy about my recent experience with Huron Valley Ambulance. Their experienced technicians came in right away and took care of me. I was quite impressed by the technicians that took care of me on Sun evening of 1/17/16. They were so friendly, caring, professional and knew exactly what to do and say during my transport to the hospital. Kudos to the two for doing such an awesome job. I am very glad to have been assisted by you!
Joshua Kaplan: Huron Valley Ambulance helped ensure a safe environment at my fraternity concert featuring 3lau. The EMT was extremely easy to work with and while there were no injuries at the event, his presence kept attendees feeling safer. Big thanks to Huron Valley Ambulance.

Katherine Dale: Shawn was very informative, and one of the best BLS classes I’ve taken. I would definitely take her class again. You could tell she actually cared about us learning what we needed to know to pass, but also what we needed to know if we actually had to perform the tasks in real life.
Amanda Crawford: Class was very informative and useful in real life situations. Instructor was very pleasant and laid back.
Emily Knapp: Great training with an awesome instructor.
Amanda Levine: This class was great!! Whether you are taking it out of necessity, or just to gain important skills for everyday adult, child and infant care, this is the class for you! Our AHA instructor, Shawn, taught the class thoroughly, ensuring every topic was covered, and answered any and all questions. It never felt rushed and I received so much useful knowledge. Thank you Shawn!! I definitely recommend Ann Arbor Heart CPR Training!
Alyson Payne: Easy to find the location. Luckily for me I was the only one signed up so I got one on one time which was needed for me and I was able to ask questions. My instructor Shawn was so sweet offered snacks and beverages and explained where the restroom was. This is only my second BLS class I have ever taken. She explained everything so easily and even gave just basic tips for me since I’m so small on how to make sure I’m doing everything properly. She even talked about specific situations that I may run into on the daily or even just at my job at an Urgent Care. Felt at home with Shawn. Thank you Shawn for your patience today!
Smarpita Singh: Instructor was amazing! The class was straight-forward and informative.

Rite Aid: what do users think?
Rochelle: The pharmacists have been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Especially during these past two challenging years, they have filled prescriptions, brought medications curbside, given countless vaccines. I am very grateful to the kind pharmacists.at Rite Aid.
Sean Kesterson: Great staff in the pharmacy today when I went to pick up a new Rx. Then, at the front, a man who spoke no English at all was struggling to communicate and the manager Jordan was superb. My wife said he has been a great help to her many times too. Thank you all for your work through all these tough times. You are making a difference.
Theodor Forde-Stiegler: Jordan was a delight‼️
Jordan Courter: If I could give a 0 I would...they refused to process my prescription even when my doctor and insurance company called several times to confirm my order. POS service
Gary Ernsting: Just a warning that the "Store Hours" are DIFFERENT from the hours that the Pharmacy is open. For example, on Sundays, the Pharmacy is open only from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm!
Gerry Higgins: I am a doctor and they refused to fill a legitimate prescription from my physician from Michigan Medicine for Tramadol. The Pharm.D.'s name is Vineet Joy, and I have filed a claim against him with the Michigan Board of Pharmacy. I addition, I have met with the requisite group at Michigan Medicine, where I work as a doctor and a scientist, and I expect that this specific franchise of RiteAid may be excluded from local pharmacies that can be used by this large health system, based on multiple instances of documented inappropriate behavior. Do not patronize this shoddy pharmacy.
Matthew Eiermann (BLUE): Really take care of all my needs
Zach Wilkinson: Quick service and good price on prescriptions.
Pucks Corner: It’s a rite aid... if you need snacks they have them.
Kimberly Harless: Always been very helpful and when it comes to my family prescriptions they have helped us get the best prices
pinetree forest: I stood in a long line, only to be told that their Western Union phone wasn't working properly. They should have a sign up some where, so you don't have to waste your time.
Kimber Hurth: The location is great but they always have new employees that never seem very happy. I come in often… Wish it had a little better atmosphere
Steve Daugherty: Nice
Wyatt Kuhlman: The head pharmacist, Dr. Tzena Smith, is the best pharmacist I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. She consistently listens and works with you to meet your needs and, in my opinion, is the primary reason this Rite Aid stands above from the rest in terms of pharmaceutical care.
Miles Putnam: Took 30 min to get a flu shot. No reason, just disorganized staff.
Michal samuel: They have done many mistakes with my medication. An intern could not answer a physician when he called about my medication history, although it was in the computer. They are technologically challenged - could never figure out how to send me a text when my prescription is ready. And it is never on time - usually, few hours later than what they say. This review applies only to this particular branch of Rite Aid. Have not tried others, and probably will not.

Rite Aid: what do users think?
Joshua Polaczyk: It’s kinda a run down rite aid. Always kinda dark and kinda a mess sometimes. I always find it hard to find stuff in there too. Fine if you’re in a pinch and need something quick.
Eddie Smith: Biggest complaint is that sometimes there is a long wait at the checkout, with no attempt to call a second cashier to help with checkout, and almost no attempt by the single cashier to hustle and check customers out any quicker. Besides that, the store is clean, well organized and stocked, offers a wife variety of products, and also offers restrooms to customers (something most pharmacies don't offer). Prices are certainly high for many everyday consumer products, but that's the standard pricing strategy for retail pharmacies. Overall, a decent pharmacy that could use a second staff member that can float between checkout and other retail activities.
Ann Tull: The rite aid at this location is awesome and they are super friendly and caring.. Definitely recommend ..
Shane Daniel: Great people and nice manager and staff, shot staffed in pharmacy but still pleasant
m J: Athena the manager of this store is a horrible human being and its written all over her face. She must live a very low life to be such a terrible person, but what can you expect from trash managing Rite Aid of all places.
maryam kaiser: Unprofessional and rude staff. The pharmacy staffs are terrible. I either get messages that my prescription is ready, but when I go there, it is not prepared, Or they would not bother to make it ready until I ask them to. After giving them several days' notice, when I made the travel to pick up my prescription, they would not give me all the prescribed medicines. I had to stop by several times. When I called the pharmacy to let them know what has been going on, the lady was so unbelievably rude. She said, “ It’s not my fault, we are short of staff. Would you like a job?!” when I asked her to give me her name, she just put me on hold!
Kay Bobbobcat: Every vaccine I received here was professional, welcoming and friendly. The store is clean but the shelves seemLightly stocked.
Laron L Bean: nice foods🎩✨💃🐬🌙⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
keelan Ferraiuolo: Customer service is the worst here. I wish this place would close so new owners or management could come in.
Pablo Salazar: Pharmacist is really rude i couldnt here what she was saying and she gave me a bad attitude and turned around and walked away.
Shannon Shaw: Lights on no one home they close at 10pm went there at 940pm doors locked light on, tried calling got hung up on tried calling again and just rang. Change your hours if you aren't going to be open when you say your open until. Not supporting this rite aid anymore. Don't waste your time going here plus freezers are always broken. Call before you go since they are most likely going to be closed when they say they will be open. Go to another rite aid.
Omar Bicy: Nice place.
Nurse: Great customer service! Nice clean store.
Malcolm Cohen: I shopped at the Rite Aid at Packard In Ann Arbor and had an excellent experience
Meghan Garrett: I called the pharmacy at 9 am, when they open, to make sure my prescription had been filled, it hadn't, they weren't able to find the needed number on my insurance card they needed so I brought the card in around 9:40 am and said I would be back in an hour to get it. When I arrived at 11am it still hadn't been filled and he said it would take another hour, I told the pharmacist I needed it sooner for an emergency procedure and he told me I just had to wait, I started to cry (emotional about the procedure and stress) and he rudely said "this is nothing to cry about". Both the phone interaction and in person interactions were short and rude. Will be switching pharmacies.
Trent Herrera: Just went there for a corona shot and stood for 10 minutes waiting for a pharmacist to provide service. (No one came) Now I have to schedule a new appointment (obviously elsewhere) and try to make my schools vaccine mandate in time.
Brian Poploskie: The staff is very pleasant, but not once, not even before covid, has my prescription been ready when they say it will. And I come in hours after they say. Still not ready
Aaron C. Wade (Lion's Paw Films): The selection in this store looks really shopped over. There's huge empty patches in all the aisle sets. A section of freezers are out of commission. There's also newly shipped product stacked in the aisles with nobody working it.
Olivia Hahn: The pharmacists here are always helpful and nice :)
Jeff Warneck: Stopped to something quick, and after waiting in line was told I could go to the pharmacy to buy tissues
Lauren Rose 'Nik' Nikolai: Not always the cheapest, but convenient and the cashiers and pharmacists are kind and helpful.

Rite Aid: what do users think?
James Reiter: This is extremely clean store it is well maintained and this staff is very friendly. The pharmacy is quick and efficient.
Shermane Woods: This rite had another black woman working there named talonda. She was a great cashier and was asking if she could move up. Trust me we needed the help! Nancy told her no bc her attendance wasnt good. They harassed her until she quit. Talonda still comes to shop and the supervisors refuse to ring her up bc they still hold aggression against her. The next black woman that got hired right after certain supermade remarks saying “shes another talonda”.
Mahdi C: HIPAA VIOLATION ALERT: I went to pick up my prescription, they don't check your ID at all, and didn't even ask my name, I just gave them the first 3 letters and they just grabbed the bag and asked for month/date of my birth. Checking ID for prescription in Michigan isn't a requirement but this level of lousiness with patient data will really get them in big trouble sooner or later. When I brought up this issue, the pharmacists was very rude and eventually told me that they know everyone by their looks, and I had never seen that person in my life before! I asked for her manager's number and after lots of resistance, she eventually gave me a number that turned out to be her own work phone!! Avoid this pharmacy if you care about your information and also wanted to be treated professionally.
Sue bzeih: They have new staff that are absolutely in their wrong spots!!!!!!
Larissa Sano: I would not recommend shopping at Rite Aid. They are not able to return anything unless you have the receipt, which can be incredibly inconvenient especially since many other competitors - CVS and Target - can look up your purchase based on your credit card. CVS even has the option to have your receipt emailed to you. In addition, their inventory tends to be low and their prices tend to be very high, especially compared to nearby stores (such as Kroger and CVS).
Chess Nooby: 22 yr coming to the same pharmacy. Have filled prescriptions many time. No change in any details..but they needed my information that they have twice in an hr to fill a prescription. Very disappointing
Camille Ward: If I could give zero starts I would. Horrible pharmacy experience. When I consulted with the pharmacist about how to take a very serious medication, she told me I could take it with food and drinks. I explained it's the opposite of what I had read. She assured me I didn't need to take it on an empty stomach. However, when I got home and later opened the prescription and read the insert, the instructions were the exact opposite of what the pharmacist told me.I called and spoke with the pharmacy manager who told me that it wasn't there fault, it was my doctor's responsibility. She also shamed me and talked louder over me as I tried to explain what had happened. I can't imagine what would have happened if I followed the pharmacist's directions in terms of taking the medication.I reported her to the Rite Aid corporate office and they said they would follow up in 3-5 days with a phone call. It never happened. Rite Aid is worse than a 3rd world pharmacy. Stay away. The pharmacy manager should be fired.
Kathryn Sims: Pharmacy especially helpful w Covid shots plus other vaccines. Store was clean and well stocked.
Lauren Heinonen: I transferred my prescriptions here from a nearby Walgreens after seeing that there was a huge difference in price using GoodRx coupons at RiteAid vs anywhere else. I was so pleasantly pleased with the service -- the transfer was seamless, the woman I worked with at the pharmacy was very nice, fast, and caring, and there were no lines. They even applied the GoodRx coupons without me asking as they looked up the pricing with my insurance vs GoodRx ahead of time and made a note of the big difference. I'm so glad I switched. I'll be coming here for all pharmacy needs for as long as I live in Ann Arbor.
Tristin Lloyd (Tristin): Called pharmacy about a medication and the woman that tried to help me was very short answered and snarky with her responses. Got to the point where “she couldn’t help me and I should find another pharmacy” was her response. Horrible customer service!
Nancy Rinke Ozturk: I truly appreciate all of the professional and kind service I receive from this pharmacy! I feel that they go above and beyond in their care of my entire family.
Ralphie: Only visited cashier station. What I saw was clean. Staff was friendly. Business is tucked in small shopping plaza, poor signage
Alyson Farmer: I have never been Treated So Rudely by a Pharmacist 🤬 Linda is a Very Unprofessional Pharmacist She refilled a prescription a month early with the wrong Pills then was upset when I told her I was allergic to the bi products in the pill she substituted for my Original Prescription Tirosint (Thyroid Medication) and Rolled her eyes saying that they have the same active ingredients 🧐 My insurance would have never approved my medication 1 Month early as I have always been given a 3 Month Supply Linda and Yumi even knew what they had done and blamed me for not catching their MISTAKE Sooner. They couldn’t find the Prescribed Medication so they decided they had a PHD instead of doing their job and ordering the Correct Medication. Linda Please get another job that you can handle. You can kill someone filling wrong Medication Shame On You !! I Will Never Do Business with Rite Aid Pharmacy Ever Again !! CVS had Medication ordered and delivered Same Day 😁
Kiara Phelps: I love Joanie the pharmacist!
Caitlyn Hartley: I’ve been going to this Rite Aid since I was a child. They completely remodeled it years ago and it looks much better. Rates aren’t bad but the thing that keeps me coming there for prescriptions are two pharmacists: Ayumi and Linda. They are both amazing, informative, kind, personable and I feel secure whenever I have questions. They also give flu shots and it’s been less painful than when I’ve gotten them at the drs don’t know if that’s a fluke or not but having a reliable pharmacist that you trust is very important and no matter where I live in the city, that’s where I’ll continue to get prescriptions filled.
GUOLEI HAN: They sell expired drugs and refuse to give full refund. Didn't even hear a "sorry" from any of the employees. No wonder CVS is the best.
孙晋文(Csuen94): Nope they don’t, and don’t even attempt to ask. Basically they are trying to say GTFO.
julia marenghi: Easy to find what I need! Staff could be better, but still very helpful.
david z: The pharmacist's lack of common sense is worse than an antique computer UI, though she outperformed the latter in terms of rudeness. We needed a vaccine and brought our insurance card on my phone, because the paper id hadn't been mailed to us. When she saw that, she gave me pencil and paper to handcopy it, emphasizing that she needed EVERY information on the card. After I wrote down all those numbers and handed the paper to her, she came back and looked at my phone anyways. At the end she told us we have to pay $70. We went to the Kroger pharmacy next door for a second opinion, and they gave us the shot without any problem. All was covered. If the RiteAid pharmacist was just incompetent instead of dishonest, I recommend her to take 1) interpersonal communication and 2) basic computer usage classes at the community college.
Ross Chaudhry: The pharmacist that helped me was friendly and knowledgeable.
Camilla Roper: Always polite, efficient, professional, accurate, quick and caring.

Ann Arbor Fire Department: what do users think?
Matthew Minnie: I'm volunteer firefighter in ann arbor michigan
G Knott: I was injured in a car accident on I-94 in Ann Arbor February 19, 2019. They called Ann Arbor fire and rescue. The responder acted as if I was somehow faking my injury, and treated me like dirt. Acting cynical, and borderline hostile towards me.They later found I had 2 herniated disks in my back because of the injury.I feel absolutely sick about the way I was treated by these bumbling, non-proffesionals
Michael Gatien (MichaelG33): great job, god bless and thank you for your services to the city. We can trust that you'll be there on the double(if traffic is good). great that we live in a country with a spectacular 9-1-1 system.
Ashley: Absolutely all amazing people. My car caught on fire and they were there in just a few minutes. They let me sit in their truck because it was cold while I waited on a tow.
D W: They have fire trucks. What's not to like?
David Russell: These guys had to come because my neighbors called. They were friendly and professional, thank you guys for your service!!
