Grumpy Dragon: This is the only Walgreens I'll ever go to. Why? Because of Matthew! He is the kindest person ever and very knowledgeable. I appreciate that. Also, I might add that the cashier Larry was most helpful and very courteous. This place not only meets my expectations, it exceeds them wonderfully.
Feroze: My doctor sent a 90 days prescription for schedule II medication to the pharmacy.Without informing me at all, they just filled 30 days. When I called later and asked why this was only filled for 30 days they told me the insurance would only pay for 30 days and I can pick up the rest next month.When I come to pick up the rest I am now told partial filling voids the entire prescription for schedule II medications.The employees here are irresponsible and do not care about the patients it has been proven to me.Look at this situation think about it, they knowingly partially fill it and don't tell the customer. Then when I call later that day they tell me my insurance only covered 30 days and I can get rest next month. Then they tell me the prescription has been voided.This is pure carelessness and disregard for patients well being. I am deeply saddened by this pharmacy and the way they treat their patients without any care for their well being. The amount of stress anxiety and sadness they have caused me hurts me greatly.
Eris Beltran: This Walgreens needs to train it's employees to read IDs in multiple languages. Not all legal US IDs are exclusively in English. Why was a client requested a US passport for ID when they were carrying a US Real-ID license with them?

heather stevenson: I was extremely frustrated with this pharmacy. I was extremely weak and dizzy that day. I checked Google and it said it was open. I called before I left home to confirm that all three of my prescriptions were ready for pickup and no one answered even though I called twice. The third time I called, I spoke with one of the cashiers from the lower level and they immediately transferred me to pharmacy without even giving me the chance to say that I already selected that option and no one answered. There is no drive-thru which is common in Ann Arbor but I went to pick up my prescription and there was construction on the road in front of the pharmacy so all the parking was blocked off and unusable (not their fault) so I had to park a few blocks or so away and walk there. I get there and they have a sign on the pharmacy security gate saying that they are out for lunch and will be back 40 minutes later. That is completely unacceptable to me in the healthcare industry. I was exceedingly ill, had to park my car, walk there, find a sign saying they were gone, walk back to my car, sit there for twenty minutes and then walk there and back to my vehicle again. Additionally, I had a prescription for Tamiflu and they didn’t have it in stock and couldn’t get it until the next day which isn’t unreasonable but had someone been there and answered one of my calls they could have told me and I wouldn’t have wasted that trip. You have multiple people working in that department, yes it’s nice to all grab lunch together but when it boils down to peoples health and safety when their ill or in pain, you rotate your lunch shifts, not leave the counter and phone unattended in the afternoon.

The Walgreens location on State Street in Ann Arbor didn’t have my prescription, but Dylan called and happily located the neighboring Walgreens in Ypsilanti and had it filled and waiting for me so there wouldn’t be any lapse in-time of my 14-Day Freestyle Libre Sensor!!!! Katherine Liu: Called around 5:30pm near closing time to ask if they had 250mg cephalexin tablets. The employee who picked up told me they didn't have any but went above and beyond to look for nearby Walgreen locations that did. I really appreciate the extra time she took to help out.

So, so helpful and lovely of them - would recommend!

My Dad had some words for them and was finally told that they'd have to take the shot, in a small cooler, to their Dr. because they couldn't give it to anyone over 25.Very distressful for my mother. Never again.You don't even deserve the one star that I gave you.
SwagRight Show: Prices are sometimes twice what walgreens.com advertises and what they sell items for at other stores. Items listed in stock online are often not in stock in store. The store is almost always short staffed or only one person as a cashier. If your black be prepared to be followed if they are fully staffed

Paul Ellinger: FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!I am SO thankful for Julia in Pharmacy and the pharmacist (sorry I didn't catch her name) for all of their help today (11/22/19 just before noon). My cousin from the other side of the State was in the hospital and her wife was there supporting her and needed her medications to allow her to function at a level that she could support my cousin. The pharmacy worked with equal portions of diligence, efficiency, integrity and compassion. So thankful that this store is here to support in this way! --- Also, the store had a huge selection, was well laid out and exceptionally organized.

Ra Htr: A month ago, I switched to Ann Ann Arbor Pharmacy from one of the large chain pharmacies. My old pharmacy’s service had been on a downward spiral long before Covid hit. In the almost three years since lockdown, their behavior towards customers also declined. One day the proverbial straw landed. And I hit the internet for the numbers of other pharmacies near me. Ann Arbor Pharmacy was at the top of the list.I called and was literally stunned speechless, when a real person answered the phone. That phone call began the process of getting a new pharmacy. Unbeknownst to me, it took weeks for them to get everything from my old pharmacy.What I saw in those weeks, were my scripts being filled, and delivered to my door, before I thought to have them filled.It’s a nice change to have my pharmacist know my name. And it’s kind of wild to experience in today’s times, the personable services, my grandmother use to talk about getting in her day.

She handled all the customers who stopped her along the way as she tried to show me where the item was on the shelf. She is an outstanding employee. This is the best customer experience I've had in retail in years! Excellent service from Becca. I highly recommend shopping at this CVS.Also, this is my favorite place for perscriptions. Always ready and on-time. Once a medication was so expensive the pharmacist helped me find a cheaper place for it.I get all my regular perscriptions filled here. Excellent service.

Ali Fleih: A+ pharmacy. The CVS Pharmacy branch on S. State Street is an excellent place to fill your prescriptions. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and they make sure you get the best possible service. The store is always clean and organized, and the pharmacists are knowledgeable and efficient. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my prescriptions, and the prices are fair. The MinuteClinic on the second floor is also a great resource for quick and convenient medical care. Finally, the store is conveniently located near many other shops and restaurants, so you can easily make a day of it. I highly recommend this pharmacy for anyone in the area! They helped me out a lot and made my day, and one way to show my gratitude is by this review.

Emily Daum: Not the best customer service. Brought disposable cameras in to be developed and was told that I will be notified when they're ready in the next 2 weeks. One month later, no answer. I email them and get no response. Another month passes by with no response or update on the status so I call them. When I called them, I was told that "they don't notify when orders are in" when I was specifically told that they do. Then when he checked for my order, they said that the photos could not be located. This took 3 months after I brought the cameras in.

Joshua Polaczyk: It’s kinda a run down rite aid. Always kinda dark and kinda a mess sometimes. I always find it hard to find stuff in there too. Fine if you’re in a pinch and need something quick.
Eddie Smith: Biggest complaint is that sometimes there is a long wait at the checkout, with no attempt to call a second cashier to help with checkout, and almost no attempt by the single cashier to hustle and check customers out any quicker. Besides that, the store is clean, well organized and stocked, offers a wife variety of products, and also offers restrooms to customers (something most pharmacies don't offer). Prices are certainly high for many everyday consumer products, but that's the standard pricing strategy for retail pharmacies. Overall, a decent pharmacy that could use a second staff member that can float between checkout and other retail activities.

When I called the pharmacy to let them know what has been going on, the lady was so unbelievably rude. She said, “ It’s not my fault, we are short of staff. Would you like a job?!” when I asked her to give me her name, she just put me on hold!

When I arrived at 11am it still hadn't been filled and he said it would take another hour, I told the pharmacist I needed it sooner for an emergency procedure and he told me I just had to wait, I started to cry (emotional about the procedure and stress) and he rudely said "this is nothing to cry about". Both the phone interaction and in person interactions were short and rude. Will be switching pharmacies.

Bill Marr: There's a few good things about this location. It's convenient and, some of the staff are respectful but, the rest of them either need to learn how to respect ALL customers including regular customers.Either treat everyone the same way or not at all. This isn't the kind of business where you get to pick and, choose who you're nice to and, who you get to treat like trash or outright ignore when you say hi to them.Be careful when you shop there because you just might get no greeting when you walk in.

kris miller: I'm not sure who was running the pharmacy the day I stopped by but he didn't even look like he worked in the pharmacy after taking my info to get the meds he took 6 straight minutes of that time to run around and put boxes and other random things away, he refused to see if my hsa card could cover the purchase of one of my meds, tried to give me needles that were 2 inches bigger than what I doctor prescribed and was just flat out rude and had no idea what he was doing. There's no reason I had to sit there for 10 minutes or more when I'm literally the only person there. They simply don't care anymore. Avoid this cvs at all costs.

Micah Warschausky: Arrived at 9:25pm to find it is closed, despite hours saying open on website and Google. This is a pharmacy - people are relying on you. Update your Google and website hours to reflect the true hours of operation then reply to my review and I will be happy to change it. Also check expiration dates on supplements and medicines - many expired on shelves. I understand there is a worker shortage: pay your people more to attract and retain workers. Again, the community is relying on you.
M W: Parking lot and lights need to be fixed, too dark at night, which creates an unsafe vibe in the evening. Fix the pot holes in the parking. The Tom's deodorant is too expensive(over 9.00 with tax) compared to other retailers in the area. The pharmacy techs are always nice and helpful. Calling to speak to the pharmacy been on hold over an hour, call dropped, recalled the pharmacy still on hold. Why doesn't anybody answer the phone in the pharmacy today. Over an hour and 36 minutes, for my call to be answered. Pay your pharmacist more money, and get them more help at this store, to answer the phones for your paying customers 😠
Zach Basler: I've been waiting an hour (and counting) in the drive through to take my COVID test. But I've almost finished the last season of What We Do in the Shadows so it hasn't been a complete waste. Highly recommend the show. This CVS, not so much.
Aurora Vesper: Don’t go here on Thursday during the day if you’re not white. Lady running the drive through will not be safe or provide good care. Pushed my test swab up against a dirty window and then made me reach into the box full of COVID samples to reclean my test bag. I’m literally going to have to get another test to deal with the unnecessary exposure she subjected me to for the sake of her own ego. Please protect yourselves.

Pretty low stocked shelves but normally have the basics. They do passport photos if you can find a clerk. Just do self-check out, then you won’t wait long. Overall not a great establishment but there is worse out there.

They didn't try to reschedule or anything. Inconvenienced me, wasted my time & gas going there. Won't be back at that CVS or any CVS for that matter again.

Abood Ramadan: It is worth driving a couple extra miles to go to another CVS or even Walgreens and not to bother visiting this one, I live across the street from this one and I always drive to any other CVS after the worst experience I’ve ever had with a pharmacy. When you’re sick and need your prescription filled you don’t want those jerks to work on it for you because they keep on complaining that they are busy and don’t have the time to help you.
David Van Dijcke: Got a drive-thru COVID test in the afternoon. The pharmacist was very helpful and friendly and the results came back around midnight the next day.

Walgreens Pharmacy: what do users think?
Catherine: I never thought I’d get to a place in my life where I was sad to switch pharmacies. CVS Caremark is awful and is making me switch to CVS and I am legitimately disappointed that I can no longer go to Walgreens. The pharmacists are always super friendly and helpful and I’ve never had issues getting my prescriptions (that was Walgreens’ fault), and the location is amazing for students. I’ve used Walgreens for over 3 years now and highly recommend using them if your insurance allows. I think they’re the nicest pharmacists in the world, they truly make filling prescriptions, which can be a HUGE pain, more bearable.

The Pharm.D.'s name is Vineet Joy, and I have filed a claim against him with the Michigan Board of Pharmacy. I addition, I have met with the requisite group at Michigan Medicine, where I work as a doctor and a scientist, and I expect that this specific franchise of RiteAid may be excluded from local pharmacies that can be used by this large health system, based on multiple instances of documented inappropriate behavior. Do not patronize this shoddy pharmacy.

And it is never on time - usually, few hours later than what they say.This review applies only to this particular branch of Rite Aid. Have not tried others, and probably will not.

Possibly Frank but not really: The pharmacy is sometimes difficult to deal with. Really depends on who you get on the phone. Or what pharmacist is working. Somebody kept losing prescriptions, gave out misinformation regarding injectables, that will turn something easy into multiple phone calls and trips and wasted money. Might want to see if other pharmacies get better reviews. I am going to look around. I want to add this edit, there was one very helpful pharmacy technician working around 9am that assisted me, and has helped me before. I think the key might be to go there early in the morning during weekdays if possible to get the best service.

I would be willing to come get it again for the 40% off of the $89.99 price if management wants to work with me.
Padmini Inbasekaran: We recently shifted to Annarbor and moved to this Pharmacy. First they filled my 3 month supply but when I came home it was only for 2 months and I had to drive back to fix it. They were not bothered at all. They said it came in a box so they thought there might be 3 packs . I cannot accept this , if I saw it some days later what could I do? Again yesterday my son had an oral surgery and the technician called this pharmacy to fill a prescription by evening , they said they are so busy they can't fill it and asked the Nurse to call 24 hour pharmacy in Bellville which is like far from Annarbor. I really don't like this attitude. Pharmacy is a service industry and I don't see any service minded people in this CVS.

The pharmacist Will goes above and beyond, and will educate me regarding my prescriptions. Will is the most kindest person in the world. We are very lucky to have Will as our pharmacist and ANN ARBOR.

Now I am sick and I don't have my medication till Monday (and that's 50/50 at best).Will never use this place ever again.

AJ: I went online and arranged an appointment for both the Covid vaccine and a flu shot at this CVS. From the moment I arrived the pharmacist treated me terribly for no apparent reason. It took him over twenty minutes on the computer to find the records he needed. He clearly did not know to access the appropriate records.He wanted to charge me for the flu shot which I knew was covered by my insurance. It was only upon my insistence that he kept checking and finally and very nastily agreed that it was covered.At this point I was so put off by his terrible manners that I told him I was canceling the requested vaccines. Who wants to receive shots from a disgruntled nasty pharmacist? I told him I was going to Costco and he stated that he didn’t care where I went!Well as luck would have it, I was able to get an appointment at Costco later that afternoon (yesterday). When I arrived there the paperwork had already been printed and I was treated professionally and respectfully. Do not go to CVS for any of your pharmacy needs! Try Costco instead.

I had my Dr call in a rescue inhaler to this pharmacy, only to arrive and find that they close at 5 PM on the weekend. There are no hours posted to know otherwise. I'm not happy at all and up here for a wedding so don't have time to switch pharmacies as this was on the way to the reception.Annoyed and having difficulty breathing. Please update your hours.

M Tong: This is the best Cvs that ever existed! Lemme explain: just moved north from Georgia and I’d gotten sick as a dog. Cold from hell. Not covid. I got tested. Anyway, we were in the midst of moving all our doctors and medications from Atlanta to Ann Arbor. This is not something you want to try to do when you feel terrible. I wasn’t nice or patient with anybody, but the Pharmacy people here were so kind and patient and helped me out so much. When there was an issue with my insurance for one of my meds that I had run out of, they found a discount card that saved me over $100. Seriously. Best people. Thank you to the whole pharmacy team for being absolutely amazing people to me and my husband!

The pharmacy staff (with the exception of one male pharmacist and one female tech) is deliberately unhelpful and rude, every single time i visit, without fail. take your business somewhere else and save yourself being treated like trash by your pharmacist.
Heide: Slowest CVS pharmacy I’ve ever been to. 3 times I’ve had to wait 20+ minutes on a script ordered over 24 hours beforehand. I’ll order them somewhere else. The pharmacist told me it would be ready the night before and I told her I would come in the next day. Next day at noon it is not ready.
Josh Guberman: The pharmacy staff are great. Some of the retail staff don't wear masks, though. One employee, in particular, always seems to have their mask around their neck as they stock shelves and/or move around the store. It's incredibly disappointing
