Marios Fotiadis: I recently had the opportunity to visit Kouzina restaurant, and while I have generally had positive experiences there, my most recent visit left me disappointed. My family and I embarked on a two-hour drive to indulge in their delicious Greek-oriented cuisine, as we have done in the past. Being Greek American, finding authentic Greek food is always a delight, and Kouzina has consistently delivered in that aspect, particularly with their mouthwatering gyros.However, upon our arrival on a Tuesday evening, we were disheartened to find the restaurant closed. It was quite perplexing and frustrating, considering we had made the considerable effort to make the trip specifically for a meal at Kouzina. It would have been immensely helpful if their hours of operation were updated and clearly displayed on their website or social media platforms.Nonetheless, I want to emphasize that our previous experiences at Kouzina have been nothing short of delightful. The warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with the friendly and attentive staff, always made us feel welcome. The menu boasts a delectable selection of traditional Greek dishes, prepared with care and authentic flavors. Their gyros, in particular, have consistently impressed me with their taste and quality, reminiscent of the gyros I have enjoyed in Greece.Despite this recent hiccup, I am hopeful that Kouzina restaurant will take the feedback into consideration and update their hours of operation to ensure that future patrons do not encounter similar disappointments

Rachael Schweiger: We have used Kouzina for catering for large gatherings for work events and it has been seamless. Raquel was great in creating a menu and prompt in responding to calls and emails. The food serving sizes are plentiful and the food was great. The kabobs and gyros were both awesome and the pita is perfect. I would highly recommend using them for your next catering need.

camorrie koch: I have come to this restaurant twice when they were open and they ended up being closed. The second time they were inside cooking and the doors were locked. I wouldn't trust the hours posted on Google or their door. Not sure if their food is good but I'm not driving out of my way again to try.

L R: -10 stars. I ordered a greek salad from the cashier who was kind. However, the food preparer who was sitting in dining room (no big deal) got up to make my food. He did NOT wash his hands or put gloves on, and actually used HIS hands to put my ingredients in the container. I was beyond disgusted and immediately ask for a refund. Brenna Boyd: The last three orders that I have placed with this establishment has either gotten cancelled right before it was supposed to be delivered, or my card has gotten charged and the order never showed up. They apparently close over an hour early than their scheduled hours often or cannot deliver because they are slow and seemingly send someone home. How about don't offer delivery if you can't accommodate, and maybe update your hours instead of just closing at whatever time you prefer.

I split a Torte Santiago and Tiramisu and both exceeded expectation... the mousse was just ok. Note that the tiramisu and mousse were both served in cups which kind of takes away from the experience.

We will be eating there at least monthly. Moreover the parking is incredibly easy.2nd dinner this month. Quiet from the downtown storm.Chef Patrick Bush made an incredible Wagyu flat iron that presented like a piece of art and the whole dish was just wonderful. As before, great, not intrusive waitress and the bar tender surpassed himself. The manager Kostantine goes out of his way to reserve the best table for you and b.t.w. actually remembers who you are. Outoor seating as it has been for years is wonderful for a drink/lunch or dinner.Parking: easy breezy.

But the one thing I like about any Mediterranean is the garlic bread cooked in the pizza oven served warm with garlic butter, they didnt have that but they did have really great bread with a whipped dip but it was made of potatoes and 4 or 5 other ingredients but not compared to the garlic butter 😔, but it was very good and I shall also return... Then we were informed that if we canceled any time after the 72 hour mark, we would be charged $25 per person - we were a table of 10. Graduation day came, we turned up!Great ambiance. Nice host. Things were looking good. Then we get seated at the table. Our server comes to get the drinks and appies order. While taking the order we are curtly informed the kitchen would soon close and therefore we had better be ready with our dinner options. That came as a little surprise, especially as we were not able to get an earlier spot.The server comes back for the main order. They had run out of the lamb, pork, and chicken - we were all forced to settle for the risotto, and our vegetarian had the cauliflower gnocchi and the other one had fettucine alfredo.The appies come - very small portions. Delicious, but small portions. We asked for the bread - it was going to cost us an extra $3 per basket. We asked for 2. The bread was nice and hot, so we wanted more. No server available, so we asked another server (not ours - which we probably should not have done) to get us more bread. It came - eventually.The main meal was good. The food was delicious. Wish I got the lamb that I had really wanted. Or the pork.Then comes desert. We placed the order and requested 3 coffees. The coffees came without creamer or sugar. The server walked away. Waited - until one of us decided to go to the kitchen and request the creamer.Desert arrived. The tiramisu was frozen. NO melt in the mouth experience. Flavors were alright. but frozen. The chocolate mousse was alright.The food was good. The service was pretty bad. Not what I wanted for graduation night. Limited choices and a curt disinterested server, for a booking made a week in advance! Did not want to ruin the night for our 2 graduates, so did not kick up too big a fuss while there, but.....

Echo: We were here to celebrate our birthday. We made a reservation a month ahead, but we were never told that it would be graduation week and they wouldn't serve paella and other dinner dishes. The waitress made us wait for more than 15 minutes before we could even start ordering. We eventually decided to leave and probably won't come back. Kim Batchelor: I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mediterranean food because I grew up eating that type of food homemade so I'm always a little wary going into a new place but WOW 10/10 tastes just like my aunt made it. The bubba was nice and smokey and the wrap had a nice crunch and was well seasoned. Also a good deal amount of food for a reasonable price. If you dont go for the side then you can easily get out for under 10 dollars and still be full. As it is I now have leftovers (exciting!) I think this place just became my new comfort food place for whenever I'm missing the taste of home. Also, the gentleman at the register was very nice and the food came out very promptly! :)Vegetarian options: Got the eggplant wrap and it was so good. Amaya Hall: The best Middle Eastern food in Ann Arbor!! It’s reasonably priced, and so so good. I get the eggplant b-harr pita every time and it’s always wonderful. One of the best things I’ve had in my life!

Jeffrey Micale: Eat here for lunch once a week. Consistently good, love the flavors and the staff are friendly.

Antriksh Mutha: Got the Falafel Sandwich and Mujaddara. Sandwich was huge, taste was good but was a little dry. Would recommend adding some sauce in the sandwich. Mujaddara was mediocre and had no fried onions. Felt like I was having Indian Khichri. The restaurant doesn’t have a standard dine in. They have chairs and table outside to sit and enjoy the food.4 stars just because it’s open late at night.

Fischer: they forgot the pickles in both of my shawarmas… how do you do that?!?!?

Grace Su Ming: Many vegan and vegetarian options and always delicious and well seasoned. So many options and good size portions. Staff are awesome!

Noel French: Long ago, as a vegetarian undergraduate, I ate here at least once a week. It's been over a decade since I've been in, but I'm spending a lot of time in Ann Arbor recently while my wife receives care at Mott, and what can I say? It still hits the spot just like it did way back when. I'm no longer a vegetarian, but Meghan's falafel pita still satisfies as an omnivore. Just delicious. I definitely won't wait another decade to go back.

A D: Dined outside. 80 degrees. Refreshing tea with lemonade infused with rose water with exotic meal. Tahini blended with olive oil and spices served with pita, made a tasty beginning to the meal. Chicken Beryani (chicken with rice, onion, garlic and curry with raisins) smelled as amazing and as inviting as it tasted. It came with a side of fattoush. Delicious meal combinations of flavors and smells rose, lemons, curry and more …. Delicious

Paul Adam Mayer: Everything I ate was basically the best I'd ever had of that dish. I thoroughly enjoyed every single thing we got (and we ate about half the menu in our large party). The service was excellent, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend stopping here to eat.

Rana Siroosian: First time here.We came here for the Persian kabob and it did not disappoint.The lentil soup was delicious and well-seasoned. The rice was fresh and tasty. The Koobideh kabob was freshly made and seasoned well.We ordered saffron and cinnamon tea, both were good but the cinnamon one became my favorite.The place is nice and cozy and the staff is friendly.Overall it was a really good experience and will definitely come back.I highly recommend Zamaan Cafe.

Eli Yon: I had a Chicken Shawarma wrap, lentil soup, and a fattoush salad. Everything was fresh tasting and delicious! It did not take very long either. Had a great conversation with the owner and he made me feel like family! Will be back soon!

Sulaf Al-Tamimi: Zamaan cafe is a must try for authentic Persian/middle eastern food. The food is a 10/10 and the ambience is very relaxing and cozy. Perfect little lunch escape from a busy day at work. Customer service is also exceptional!

Kris R: Upon leaving Briarwood mall I googled “Mediterranean food near me.” This restaurant popped up, amongst others. I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did!! The staff were, beyond friendly, and the food was superb!! I ordered a salad and lentil soup; simply delicious. I plan on returning soon!
