Timothy Bowman: Food & drinks: We only came here to eat at the restaurant in which we have always enjoyed. They have high quality steaks,prime rib and seafood, all of which are always prepared with excellence. They have good seafood/pasta dishes and the desserts are fantastic. The service has always been excellent. It's pricey if you indulge in drinks, appetizers, dinner and desserts, but whatever you order you will enjoy it.

Tim Peck: I needed a decent place to stay overnight while at the children’s hospital. I chose her based on location/cost and desire for breakfast. The room was nice and I didn’t notice anything that appeared dirty. It was as seen in photos. The main reason I will be back is for the breakfast. For a $10 upgrade I had an omelette made for me and a plethora of other options. Added benefit was a noon check out time instead of earlier in the AM. The market place was nice added benefit as well. I also liked the idea that Wendy’s basically shares the same parking lot so it’s definitely in walking distance for most anyone.

Katie Elizabeth: Pet friendly hotel that has clean rooms. 2 stars because of my experience in the breakfast area. There is no sign or any person waiting near the breakfast area to inform guests that the buffet is $20. I had a plate of 4 pieces of bacon and I was yelled at across the hotel lobby in front of other guests and staff by the buffet staff member that her buffet was $20. I handed her the plate of bacon and said she could have it back and she aggressively took it from me and threw it in the trash. I told her that there should be a sign that says the buffet costs $20 for hotel guests, and she snapped back at me “yea, I’ve told them that a lot”. Typically a breakfast buffet is free for hotel guests, or there is clear indication that there is a separate breakfast restaurant in a hotel. This interaction with this buffet employee did not make me feel like a valued guest of this hotel and definitely made what would have been a 5 star review this 2 star review. And we discussed how much we were enjoying our experience here and would be repeat customers, but not after this experience.

I didnt have time to enjoy the lounge on my brief & busy stay, but it looked very inviting. Kayla Hurst: Beautiful hotel and REALLY incredible staff!! A little bit older hotel but still super nice - and made better than some of the newer hotels being built. The front desk went above and beyond to be sure our stay was A+. Also in a super great location, no parking charge and plenty of parking and brightly lit. The beds were also super comfy. Will definitely be back if we're in the area again!Rooms: Not super big, but big enough. Krystal: Karan or Kathy (I'm so sorry I don't remember which) at the bar was amazing. So nice, made great drinks and seemed to really like her job she even remembered usbthe next night. The only downside about the stay, we booked club level, the lounge was closed due to covid. Had I known, I would have saved some money and not booked that level. The walls were. Bit thin or our neighbor was just that loud. The hotel was clean with kind staff always working to keep it so.

So pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, WELL THOUGHT OUT COMFORT, serious minded helpful staff. THE POOL AND SURROUNDING AREAS SO CLEAN! towels were thick and soft. It made the nightmare of our situation easier to bare. T.y. Comfort Inn and Staff. Well worth the money.Rooms: Handicap accessible was well planned and comfortable for all! Nicely decorated. Beds and pillows were super comfy.Nearby activities: Very close to EVERYTHING we needed. So much greenery, walks were pleasurable.Walkability: I took several walks. I felt safe and engaged. I loved the comfortable outdoor seating they have. Just right to sit and chat or enjoy a moment to myself.Noteworthy details: I was struck by how diligent and contentious each employee carried out their duties. Just nice to see, some pride in ones work! It shows.

William Sowards: I don't believe I have ever met a router concierge the young lady at the desk was most unhelpful and very uncooperative I don't know if she was just having a bad day or did not enjoy her job the rooms were fairly clean though you didn't have to look really hard to find what all they messed the bathrooms needed attention as well as a good vacuuming throughout the living area. Max Merrell: not too impressed. There’s barely any staff present, the vending machines are broken, and the housekeepers botched my room. I didn’t receive any toiletries (i always have extra just in case), and my bed was dirty. The blinds wouldn’t close all the way, and the windows are super foggy. The hallway smelled like cheetos and weed.With so many issues its not even worth the price they charge for a single room. Im sorry but i will definitely not be checking in here again.

Stephanie Avellino: This is a horrible hotel. The fat lady who sits behind the desk in the morning is rude. My children got kicked out of the pool because I was not present. My children were clearly old enough to be their by themselves. Their breakfast was terrible. They had bagels and cereal. Then they proceeded to kick us out for burning candles and incense. My family is spiritual and this is what we do. They could of asked us to put it out. But they kicked a mother and her two small children out. I will never be booking with this hotel or any like it ever.

Brian Degroat: The place was OK for a older builder there doing all right I would definitely cut down on the price the Restaurant was definitely the best Experience. The negatives of this place are Not enough overhead lighting. AAC unit use a little bit of work since some of them rattle while running. Definitely would take some time and start updating few things even though the building is older doesn't mean that you still can't update the ac Systems. And the Exhaust fans in the bathroom we're nasty full dust that need to be Cleaned ASAP.Nearby activities: There's a pretty good Buffalo Wild wings that's right down the road we're definitely recommended.Food & drinks: If your coming here would recommend trying out there Breakfast coffee's pretty good you do how ever have to pay for the Breakfast for the price you pay for the room you. Think there should be a continental breakfast.

Dina Reedy: Have been here twice in the last 6 weeks due to work. The 1st time my toilet was broken so that I had to play with the tank every time I flushed, the fridge froze every thing I put in it and the elevator was broken 2 out of 3 days (I was on the 3rd floor). The 2nd time I didn't have any of these issues. It's a large place so expect to walk some distance to your room

I came across some issues at the hotel that were completely out of their control, yet they took care of it and were empathetic to the situation. The hotel was great for us and in a nice location. Jan Baer: We were here for 3 nights, attending our nephew's graduation from University of Michigan. We felt the rooms were overpriced $420 per night for a basic hotel room. The included breakfast was very average and the elevator was out for a day. None of the fitness equipment worked in the gym, every piece of equipment was broken except for one which was the 50 lb dumbbell 🙄 The only good thing for the bar where we were able to order a pizza which was delicious!The kids staying at the hotel seem to be enjoying the pool.We are loyal Hilton members so next time we'll stay with them.

Amy Ko: I came for a week long visit to the University of Michigan. The room had a bed and was quiet, and the Wi-Fi was solid, but those were the only upsides. There were many downsides:- The bus line that stops nearby only comes every 30-60 minutes. There were no side walks to get to the bus, no shelter during rain. The Spin scooters don’t make it this far out.- The shower wouldn’t drain and the staff wouldn’t fix it- Housekeeping sometimes wouldn’t come, or wouldn’t restock basic things like toilet paper- When checking out, they’re computers didn’t work. It took 10 minutes while I was trying to leave for the airport.- People are rarely at the front desk, so you have to shout to some back room to get their attention.- My key card stopped working twice during the week.- The room was moldy, aggravating my allergies- The lights were dim- There was no makeup mirrorI wouldn’t recommend it unless you need a very cheap stay and have a car.

Carl Idler: We were there for an event and we're so busy taking care of things. The night we came back into our hotel room. We found mold exposed wires paint coming off the ceiling and when we went to the desk they said well you can leave or get a new room and the Hotel was booked so we couldn't get another room so they basically told us we had to leave. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in we were there from April 17th to 19th Our event was ruined by this hotel and it's staff You would think working for Hotel chain they would have more respect And not treat you like trash my Recommendation for anybody that stays there not to stay They don't Care about their guests nor care about their health
randy weldon: From the time we checked in until we checked out, this place was a disappointment. They said they were overbooked and had to put us in the tower rooms. This resulted in a $40 per night upcharge. I was able to talk with management and get the upcharge removed. The air in the room didn't work. We had a dinner with a group. The ribs were so tough you couldn't eat them. The pool closes at 10pm. They come in a 9pm and turn off the heater for the whirlpool. Several locations had bugs and we found bugs swimming in the apple juice at breakfast. The breakfast eggs and sausage were cold. Although we saw maids, our room was not serviced, but it was obvious that eating breakfast was more important to the maid staff as 10am every morning you could find them at the breakfast area.I will nor stay here again and recommend the same to anyone considering this establishment.Rooms: Rooms were being remodeled and they were still putting people in these rooms. Plaster was falling off ceilings, no hot water in several rooms, and outdated look everywhere.Food & drinks: Ribs were so tough, you couldn't eat them. We were supposed to have tea, water, and coffee which none were offered. Had to use the cash bar instead. Breakfast buffet was poor. Hot food cold and bugs in food and apple juice.

Matthew Rian: Had to stay here for family health issues. They gave me a shuttle to and from the U of M university Hospital. Drivers are excellent front desk ladies were great and breakfast woman made sure you started your day off great and housekeeping made sure the room was clean! KRISTEN L: Stayed one night during mediation visit. The room was clean and looked recently redecorated. The pool and hot tub area looked nice and clean, though we did not use. The work out room had 2 treadmills, a bike and an elliptical: all of which were... useable but entry level/old. The work out room was HOT and small, mentioned the temp to the front desk, so hopefully that will be adjusted. Breakfast was free with a variety of selection. Had to ask for decaf coffee, the attendant was friendly and immediately offered to make some, but she never brought it out. Plenty of parking during our midweek stay. Would definitely stay here again.

She had offered my daughter chocolate-covered strawberries stating a guest they were for had canceled then once she had realized she had made a mistake quickly took them back very unhygienic. Our reservations we made earlier in the day and we watched several other guests get the card to their room while we had to wait in the lobby for over an hr and a half. Just based on Caroline alone I would never recommend anyone staying at this location.
Christina Daniels: I stayed here for three days during an ice storm. The hotel was sold out. Every employee was kind and helpful. I would especially like to thank the breakfast attendants. While the space is very small, they worked diligently to keep items stocked and were helpful and polite while doing so.Very impressed.
Stephanie Bundy: Michelle was a life saver when we were looking for a last minute room for our daughters appointment at the U of M Cancer Center when our previous hotel fell threw. The hotel was beautiful, staff incredibly helpful and friendly and the shuttle server is such an added bonus!!! As soon as we find out her surgery date, we will be back!!! Thank you for making taking some of the stress off of a stressful situation.

Jenny Zaruba: I generally like Hamptons but this facility was fairly run down. The good: pretty quiet, decent staff, nice breakfast area. The bad: this place really needs a reno. Everything is old, outdated, and dirty. Lots of creaks, weird stains, and holes in the hallway ceilings. Most notably, the shower did not have hot water which is what drove me to write this review. Overpriced for the value given. Find another place to stay.

Jeff Raymond: Showed up with confirmation number, and proof that I had paid for the room. They did not give me my room and forced me to do a bunch of digging around online. They also made me negotiate with the booking website. Unprofessional and a bunch of hassle. I do not recommend this hotel for business or any other type of travel.
