Joy Meadows: Both of my kids have been going to School of Rock for over a year and absolutely love it! There has never been a day when they don't want to go. The instructors do a great job making it fun yet educational and my kids love being able to choose the songs they want to learn. I've recommended School of Rock to close friends (that have also loved it) and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a great music school.

Thomas Lopez (Tommy): Only stopped in for a drink but the place is beautiful and this paloma was amazing. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Hope to go back and try dinner soon!

Hung-Bin Tsai (Sliver Linings LOHAS): 芝加哥大學音樂戲劇與舞蹈學院位在風光明媚的北校區，在這裡舉目望去有美麗的池塘，還有野鴨成群划水而過，讓音樂家創作的謬思得以啟發。在夏季八月份來此一遊，看著清澈的水面將建築倒影成為一體，會有戶外桃源的感受。進入學院內的音樂學圖書館，我個人很喜歡館裡整面的書架陳列，從一樓向二樓拍照起來五彩繽紛也非常壯觀。

Joanna Danielsen: Marla Moore is the most wonderful voice teacher I could ask for! She is incredibly encouraging, and she gives me great feedback. I always look forward to our lessons and getting to learn from her. My singing has improved so much since I started coming to her. She is so skilled at what she does--I couldn't imagine a more talented vocal coach! You will certainly not be disappointed if you take lessons with her or just attend her school. She is so talented at teaching and is so passionate about what she does!
Aaron Zahn: My daughter has been working with Marla for years as her voice coach. She has come a long way from where she was years ago with her. Marla has helped her work through her fears of singing in front of a crowd, her confidence, and her voice changes as she became a teenager. Marla's contagious personality has gone a long way with my daughter's development.
Audrey Hargett: Been taking lessons with Marla Moore through the Ann Arbor Music Academy for 4 years, and I’ve loved every minute of it! She provides a safe yet professional place for her students and I highly recommend!
Renata Schmult: I took voice lessons with Marla Moore (one of the instructors) for 4 years and she helped me so much! From vocal technique, to life advice, to getting me connections for jobs, and helping me prepare for college applications she has been there encouraging me and supporting me. Simo: We couldn’t recommend the Ann Arbor Saline Music Center more. This is a wonderful place to experience music. You can feel Karen's and Alex's passion for music and teaching in this amazing music school. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and it is always a pleasure to talk to all those nice people who work there.We started going to this school this summer because our 6-year old son asked to learn how to play the drums. We are impressed by what he learned in these few months. This is especially thanks to his wonderful teacher. Garrison made our son feel comfortable right from the start and inspires him every week. He is very patient and makes every lesson a great learning experience. It is very nice to see and feel how a teacher’s passion influences their students and how accuracy combined with fun supports a student’s development in their skills.What else can you ask for than knowing that you found the perfect place and people for your kid (or yourself) to learn an instrument?
Eric: These are the same people who really screwed us over in Ann Arbor. We started with them in May. Then 4 months later we show up for a lesson and the teacher says the whole school is moving to Saline at the end of next month and today is my last day. We knew that they were opening a school in Saline, but they never told us anything about moving the entire school. We enrolled two kids at this school! If we had known they were planning on moving, then we never would have started with them in the first place - but of course, they wanted our money …
Lawrence Siden: This place is special. My son and I learned how to play here, he at the age of 11 and I at the age of 49! They have the best teachers in the world. This is also a really nurturing place for kids. They get them into rock groups ASAP and organise gigs at local coffee shops. The kids learn fast and play really well because they're highly motivated by their peers and by the great music. My son got so much out of this when he was starting out. It really gave him a lot of confidence as he developed his musical chops. He has his own students in Detroit now. I started in the Adult Blues program, then my interest shifted to jazz. At this time the Adult Jazz Class has disbanded, so I play in several outside jazz ensemble classes but still take private lessons at the Center with Carl who who I continue to learn so much from. They also have a guitar building shop in the basement, camps for kids in the summer, and I can leave my guitar here overnight when it needs a setup. Worth every penny.
Nancy Kupina: We have been a part of the AAMC family for going on 14 years! Their partnership in our children's musical education has been an extraordinary experience. We feel incredibly lucky to have such kind, caring and highly qualified professionals in our children's lives. AAMC brings out the best in everyone and is an absolute gem to Ann Arbor. Thank you Alex and Karen for dedicating yourselves to sharing the gift of music with so many adults and young people.
Lisa Yee-Litzenberg: My daughter takes both voice and guitar lessons at the Ann Arbor Music Center. The staff and instructors are great. The owners are very friendly too and make you feel a part of their musical family.

Melissa M: This place is great. I've been taking lessons for about a year and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn a new instrument. I would never have the discipline to practice on my own without some guidance, and it's a lot of fun to learn songs and make progress. My co-worker's daughter also had voice lessons here and recently won a competition!I'm an adult, and there's all ages here, but it's obviously really great for kids as well - they have camps throughout the summer, you can play in a band, and everyone is really friendly. I'm always able to find free street parking nearby but there's a pay lot across the street, too.
Stacey Hansen: The people here love music and love their students. Karen (one of the owners) is incredibly generous, and helped me out to ensure my daughter always had a drum kit available when I had trouble having one at home. Garrison was fantastic with my daughter - knew the music but was good at making a teenager feel comfortable. I would recommend Ann Arbor Music Center to everyone!

Ulysses Balis: I've been a student here for many years. This place is a gem. The level of talent and professionalism of AAMC's teachers is on par with any "big city" venue, such as Berklee or Juilliard. However, the degree of personal instruction is in a class all its own. For anyone wanting to improve their skills with playing an instrument and specifically, with performance, look no further than AAMC. This place rocks, both figuratively and, quite literally.
Alexandra DePorre: I cannot more highly compliment the Ann Arbor music center. Garrison was an excellent teacher, very patient and organized in his approach. I can't believe how much I have learned in less than a year. If you are trying to decide if you should take the plunge and start a new hobby, absolutely do it! It's fun- you will not regret it!
Brian Shensky: Housed in what once was the stalwart Al Nalli music shop HQ, you see the various pictures on the walls of countless recording artists that have crossed paths with Alex, Karen, and all the musicians who have taught here before moving on to greener pastures (usually in NYC or LA), and you'd swear you can hear the ghosts of past and current musicians that had been associated with the school before breaking big. A2MC is the real deal, the authentic taco that will point you (or your sons and daughters) in the direction of becoming genuine musicians. When the backing track crew that shares the stage with countless of YOUR favorite stars are done with last night's concert, they're here the next morning tuning guitars, practicing paradiddles, and drilling in how Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge.
