Investor's Property Management: what do users think?
Molly Fallon: Positive:Professionalism,Responsiveness
Samii Stoloff: Wasn't happy with my conversation with Marina on the phone. She seemed to just brush off my concern for my apartment and then just left me hoping for the best.
Austin Alexandre: Had a great 2 years with IPM. Always responsive and courteous! Great communication. Apartment was maintained really well.
Alexa DeFord: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,ValueThey let squirrels live in our house the entire year. Don’t EVER rent from them. They will charge you if you look at them the wrong way.
Arthur Jenoudet: Terrible leasing company. They are very predatory: they do not make it seem like you are in charge of your utilities until you have signed the lease. They charge you for individual maintenance items that are included in most other leases. They charge prices that are not competitive with the rest of Ann Arbor, and their houses are rundown and poorly insulated. Would stay away at all costs !
Daniel Garcia-Archundia: Investor's Property Management (IPM) was always very responsive, quick to help, and showed concern for my needs as a tenant. 5/5 would definitely rent a property with them again.
tu do: This is the cheaterThey give me the contract to sign as late as they can, I sign and get in their trap. I have to paid for 12 months, while I just stay for 8 month. This is bad company.
Cory Russell: IPM has nice houses but they’re over priced for the area and rip you apart with fees and charges. They’re very intrusive when it comes to dealing with their tenants and lack a lot of accountability when it comes to returning security deposits. Make sure you take pictures of the house before move in if you rent from them, otherwise they will charge you. Overall I had a bad experience renting from IPM. Try to stay away.
Daniel Ackerman: My roommates and I have found IPM to be quite responsive and helpful with all matters. We have been living in an IPM house for over a year and a half without any complaints. I would definitely recommend them to others (especially in comparison to other Ann Arbor landlords). 5 stars.
Eric Gonzalez: Good local business, they treat their tenants with respect and care about their comfort
Jill Clark Homes: My daughter and her teammates rented from a nice owner then Investors Property Management took over. Kelli was rude. Would not communicate to the students until I had to get involved. Unbelievably, she was equally as rude to me. It was all we could do to keep up with her lies and terrible communication. Stay away from this company!
Allison Everitt: IPM is probably the best company I’ve ever rented from and I’ve been renting for the last 8 years (all over Michigan). Contrary to what other reviewers have said, I believe their security deposit and move in fees are fair and comparable to any other property management in Ann Arbor. They even let us move in a few days early when my lease out of town was ending. They do an amazing job of communicating (via email) and respond quickly to maintenance requests and all issues. Ive honestly had zero issues with this company and we’re entering our second lease next month.
jeff green: If i could leave negative stars, I would. This is the worst, most laughable management company I have ever encountered in my 30+ years of real estate experience. My son rented from these irresponsible lunatics who will constantly overcharge tenets and will never admit to making mistakes. Every billing statement will contain something that it should not. Unless you are extremely diligent, prepare to be robbed by IPM.
Tim Wells: Terrible management company. Absolutely disgraceful when it comes to communication and accepting responsibility for their mistakes. By the way, they will make many mistakes with respect to billing and doing work on your property so you must constantly watch over them and make sure they are not charging you for things they are not supposed to.
William Lane: Ridiculous fees and above market rate rent
Bill Rosemurgy: Poorly managed local business. Crazy policy related to paying rent / security deposit up front (before move-in). Confusing amount of pre-move-in paperwork. Typos and incorrect information in the first two leases that we were sent, we signed the third and even that incorrectly had our lease end a month early - they wouldn't change it. Equally crazy sub-lease procedure. Another round of typos and incorrect dates in our sub-lease paperwork. Upon move-out, they tried to deduct a portion of the security deposit, we claimed their deductions were "normal wear and tear" and they agreed with the rebuttal - seems a little shady, like they're knowingly deducting for things that they shouldn't and hoping tenants don't rebut. They walked in on the upstairs neighbor when showing our apartment because the agent got the two confused. Lots of disturbances / notices-of-entry. Hard to communicate with.I can understand one or two mistakes - they happen - but our experience was of a pattern of a poorly managed business. I would rent from any of the big / corporate landlords in town before renting from IPM.Note: Three of the nine five-star reviews here are from IPM employees or associates. Kelli and Hannah work in the office. The owner of IPM, John Wade, is a broker at Savarino Properties which shares a building with IPM - I assume Julie is a relative of some sort.
Patrick: Rented from IPM for 3 years (2013–16). Always responsive, helpful and respectful in our communications. Highly recommended to any students looking for housing around campus. Thanks again IPM!
Walter Napoleon: Responsive maintenance and office staff.
Jennifer Arnold: My two years with IPM were fantastic--especially in comparison to friend's experiences with other Ann Arbor rental companies. IPM was responsive, timely, communicative, and fair. Marina and the team helped me through my confusion of renting for the first time; they got us a new refrigerator within a day; they sent someone to check our leaking ceiling that day and then fixed it within the week; and they cleared the fallen tree in our backyard and left behind chopped wood for us to use in the fire pit. They even fixed some things that we didn't ask them to (a new dishwasher, the front porch railing...). We were quite responsible, neat renters and they responded in kind! However, that level of responsiveness came only once they knew that we were good tenants. When I first moved in, it took a lot longer to respond to requests (Marina/Kelly were usually the quickest. Anne just talked in circles.). The property also showed its age--few of the floors/walls/windows perfectly fit together and the backyard never grew grass.Overall, a dependable rental company! Highly recommended!
Joseph Murray: 3 years of wonderful, friendly property management. Highly recommended to anyone looking for rental housing in Ann Arbor!
Julie Savarino: I have worked with IPM for years and they do a fantastic job. Are responsive and pay attention to details. Thank you all! Great team!

Baker Street Properties -- Property Management for the 21st Century: what do users think?
Laurel Boelens: Our unit was very well designed with high quality amenities. When maintenance was needed, our requests were responded to promptly.
Matthew Boelens: Baker Street was extremely responsive and helpful as I made plans to set up a sublease for the summer. I can't imagine the process going any smoother! Plus their online tenant portal is very helpful.
Rashmita Gandhe: Baker Street was wonderful and so easy to work with over the past year! Highly recommend living at one of their properties.
Courtney Hering: Baker Street has been the most open to negotiating a deal that works best for us. I’m so thankful for their kindness and flexibility throughout the process and would recommend them as a property management service!
Carrie Cusack: After leaving my initial review Baker Street responded to our concerns. I worked with Emily who was very helpful in getting things done.Interior maintenance tickets are usually responded to very quickly and the team is generally quite responsive via email.
Lin: My experience with Baker Street for the past two years has been great! Everyone in the team is nice, knowledgeable, and experienced. Their professionalism and efficiency have been exceptional. I highly recommend them.
Spencer Hanson: Very nice property, and the management team is very helpful with great customer service
Chad Harju: Not only does Baker Street make the process of renting seamless, but they also have quality properties and are very responsive in their customer service. If you're looking to rent in the Ann Arbor area, you should most certainly check out what Baker Street has to offer.
Brad A: For several years I struggled managing a beautiful old home I had in Ann Arbor. I then found Baker Street. They took charge, kept the property in great shape and importantly, rented.I’ve had to sell the property, but If ever I buy another property in A2, Baker Street will be called as soon as I close.
Yujie Wang: I had a great experience with Baker Street Properties! I lived at two different apartments that are managed by Baker Street and I lived in their properties for three years, the experience has been wonderful! The online portal is very user-friendly! The maintenance team is always very responsive and responsible! April Benlein, the lead leasing manager and Emily Harju, the lead marketing manager have helped me a lot during my stay to make my stay as smooth as they can! I would Highly Recommend Baker Street to people who are looking for apartments in Ann Arbor!
Ashley Holcomb: The experience renting from Baker Street has been very easy. They are very fast to respond and act on any issues we may have.
Malinda Barberio: After a very poor experience with other Ann Arbor leasing companies in the past, Baker Street has proved to be an excellent choice. They are extremely responsive and often request feedback. Their maintenance crew is always on top of it. They fix problems properly and always enter your home with respect. If I was staying in Ann Arbor longer I would actively choose a property leased by them.
Stephen Hubert: Baker Street was very welcoming from the start and very communicative. Their portal to pay rent is very straightforward and hassle free.
Marissa Rafail: Our move in experience at Baker St was unlike any other. The owner is kind, helpful and quick to respond. Our apartment looked great!! I feel LUCKY to be renting from such a good rental company!
Benjamin Mirza: Baker Street did an amazing job modeling my new apartment- it looks amazing and I couldn't be happier. The Baker Street team is friendly, responsive, and accommodating. They also ensured that the property was ready for move-in on the date they stated and they worked hard to make that happen.
Sophia Gilson: I have had a lovely move-in experience with Baker Properties from the fast, efficient communication and very kind and accommodating staff members and building owner, Eric. I would recommend this rental company. We love our home!
Erik Rikkonen: Baker Street has been a great company to rent through, and was very fast to respond to maintenance requests upon move in.
Rick Krout: My experience with Baker Street has been fantastic, my roommate and I love our new place and we owe all our happiness to Emily.
Ashley Musleh: We’ve had a great experience with Bakers Street so far. Applying for and signing the lease was seamless. They’re quick to respond to emails: I also liked the gift box with dish soap and hand soap waiting for us when we moved in. Haven’t needed to put any maintenance requests in yet, but I don’t anticipate any issues with that. Thanks Bakers Street!
Samantha Ross: Took over my property in the middle of a lease. Poor communication. Very unresponsive and difficult to get ahold of. Usually no one answers at the office and emails can take 3 days to 1 week to get a response. Maintenance will show up with no notice even if you don’t have a work order in. They aren’t transparent and don’t give straightforward answers. Did not allow me to be present during the move out inspection even though it explicitly states in the lease that the tenant has a right to be present at said inspection. Failed to inform me that the move out inspection had been completed and that the inspection report is not available until it is sent with your security deposit; I had to reach out multiple times in order to clarify this information. Unable to tell me the status of my security deposit i.e, if it has been sent out, when to expect it to be sent and/or possible date of arrival, they only state that they have 30 days by law to send back the deposit. They did allow me to extend my lease twice while in the process of buying a home, however, this does not negate the other factors mentioned previously. It was difficult to navigate the situation as they wanted to list my unit one month after I had renewed for 6 months.I would definitely recommend checking out other property management companies and landlords in the Ann Arbor area, as well as ensuring that you are educated regarding Tenant Rights in Ann Arbor, especially in regards to lease renewal and occupied unit showings.
Lily Kelsey: Baker Street is great! They make the stressful moving experience so much easier and are very easy to communicate with! I would definitely recommend!

Level Up Property Management: what do users think?
Omeid: Great services and great owners. I moved out of a condo but didn’t want to sell it, so I hired Level Up Property Management to take care of the leasing and maintenance of the property. So far they have exceeded my expectations. Have been using them for 6 months and know it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I highly recommend Level Up to anyone in Ann Arbor or southeast Michigan.
Dylan Jarjis (Jarjis318): Level Up has been fantastic. I just recently had to do a city inspection and they assisted the whole time with contractors to contacts. They are easy to work with. They work around the clock to make sure you’re satisfied. They’re a great team to work with.
Mina Pirzadeh: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessWhen my water heater broke, the team at Level Up made my life SO easy! Not only did they come to fix the issue quickly, but they communicated with me all along the way! Honestly, it was a life saver !
Esmat Ishag-Osman: I love the level of service that Level Up Property Management provides. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of transparency they offer their clients in regards to the property that is being managed. I fully recommend their services to any property owner.
Sean Brown: Level Up Property Management has done a fantastic job managing our Michigan rental property. They stay on top of every detail and keep us well informed. They are proactive in dealing with maintenance and tenant issues, making sure that we have time to plan and make decisions about the care of our property. We have complete confidence in Level Up Property Management to take care of our property as if it was their own.

Cabrio Properties: what do users think?
Daisy Ramos-Herrera: Great experience! Mike got my screen door patched and ready in no time. I really appreciate the help and care!
Sue Wang: The worst rental company in Ann Arbor! They have the worst services. Worst landlord, especially for 908 Sybil Street. I called them to ask how to add a new resident to the apartment. They all told me different things and somebody said I need to email another email address but didn't tell me the address. It's a secret one, not the one on the website! It seems they play the rules themselves, and only the agents know the rules but they have zero patience to tell the residents any rules. The agents are not professional or nice at all!Secondly, the landlord is almost a robber! She entered my private bedroom without any permission and broke the wall between my bedroom and the bathroom! And threw and moved my stuff everywhere in the room but not putting them back! They even didn't respect the residents here! I am so angry and the company said they have nothing to do with it. How could they say that? They had bad communication with the landlord -- I called the company to fix the leaking ceiling 6 times in 2 years and how can the landlord never know?!!!! The first time she came, she blamed us for damaging the ceiling and thought we ourselves fixed the ceilings that ugly??? What a huge joke! Maybe she had a pig's brain and can imagine we can pull water to the ceiling, which is one meter over our head! LoL! Then she was not satisfied with the ceiling and came every day to check and break something. She didn't do any improvement in a week! To be honest, I really want to tell everyone not rent the apartment from this company. I have ever lived in the apartments from three companies in Ann Arbor and Carbrio property is no wonder the worst! Worst services, worst maintenance, worst and rudest landlord, but the highest rental fee. Don't waste your money and happy mood here. And they will not allow you to quit in the middle of a lease -- I feel I am not living in an apartment, but living under the bridge now. My private things can be damaged and moved by anyone who has the key. I feel no safe living here. For the rest 2 months, I would rather live somewhere else and pay extra money instead of living in such a horrible place!!!
Tianyu Zheng: I wish I could give Cabrio a zero-star rating, as I strongly advise everyone to avoid them at all costs! Before stating my specific experience, here are the things they have done to the tenants at Fritz Lofts:1. Charging each tenant fine due to inappropriate garbage disposal by residents they could not figure out.2. Charging a lockout fee if you request a maintenance service and leave with your door unlocked.3. They imposed charges such as $15 per month water fee that is hidden in the lease. This is on top of the exorbitant utility fee for electricity and gas due to their old and energy-inefficient furnace. The monthly utility fee in my tiny studio is over $100 during the winter even when I was travelling and kept the AC switched off. And they do not allow tenants to turn off the gas even when you are away to keep the temperature of the furnace.Cabrio is as unprofessional, unethical and unlawful a landlord can get. They inspected my fridge during a house showing tour and accused me of violating my lease due to putting an open milk jug that "expired on April" in my fridge while I was on a travel. They then arranged housing keeping inspections after three days, despite I clearly stated that I wouldn't return by then and that I would arrange for a friend to come to my house to remove any open food source. (At that time none of us knew the heck that what they mean by food source was a milk jug in my fridge). They entered my unit without permission nonetheless to do the inspection, and threatened me with violating the lease and eviction, which I find utterly ridiculous so I am putting it here.To compound matters, Cabrio took it upon themselves to change my lock during the housing tour without my presence and argued that it was necessary due to dirt in the lock. As if that wasn't enough, they proceeded to charge me an exorbitant $350 for this unauthorized action. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my lock, and I had no knowledge of any minor issue until they decided to change it without my consent. Perhaps realizing their charge is unjustified, they resorted to outright lies by claiming it was the second time they had to replace the lock for me. However, they conveniently ignored my email seeking clarification on when this alleged first replacement occurred. If you rent with Cabrio, prepare yourself for endless discussions with your lawyer! The behavior displayed by Cabrio is utterly outrageous. They seem to have no qualms about disregarding tenant rights, invading privacy, and engaging in dishonest practices. I felt compelled to share my experience here to shed light on their unscrupulous actions and to give prospective tenants a serious warning.UPDATES: Cabrio removed the charges and rescinded the lease violation notice.
Maddie Dollard: Thanks Tom!!!
Luke Bohr: Very reliable management company in Ann Arbor. I've been through 3 property managers and they've been the best. Very quick to respond to service orders.
Dale N: had a less than satisfactory experience renting from Cabrio Properties this past year. My roommate and I had to deal with centipedes and spiders multiple times throughout the year. We contacted the management and they sent an exterminator, but the pests kept returning. It was a constant source of discomfort and anxiety for us, and it really put a damper on our living experience. In addition to the pest problem, we also had a bad tub. The glazing kept peeling, which clogged the drain and caused it to flood often. We reported the issue to Cabrio, but they only sent someone to temporarily fix it. The issue kept recurring, and we had to deal with a perpetually clogged tub with flakes of peeling covering the floor of the tub. It was very frustrating and inconvenient. To make matters worse, we also had uneven floorboards that were not fixed until about a quarter of our lease was left. We had reported the issue to Cabrio within the first month of moving in, as it was causing us to trip and was a safety hazard. Despite repeated requests for them to address the issue, they only sent someone to fix it when there was very little time left on our lease.Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience renting from Cabrio Properties. The pest problem, the bad tub, and the uneven floorboards made it difficult to enjoy living in the apartment. I would not recommend renting from them if you are looking for a hassle-free living experience.
Nicole Zuckerman: Great service, very timely!
Joey Stetz: Eric pulled up punctually this morning, as I was in a hurry to have the kitchen sink fixed so that I could cook myself breakfast. Thank you for coming through and fixing the problem. Eric's a good man. Thanks again for your work! Although Eric was nice, Natalie proceeded with an eviction and i am also going thru a divorce rn so i feel thats so not understanding of her. i have a three year old who used to visit me here and now i am being forced to move against my will due to some light volume...💆‍♂️
Leyna Doerr: Tom and Mike are so incredibly helpful and kind! They worked very hard to help us out and make sure our plumbing got fixed
William Addison: They deal with customers like cattle and will not hesitate to screw you over on everything from price and rent to unclear addendums and false promises. Do NOT use their services
Gabrielle Brown: The maintenance team we have at the cottages are the absolute best. They come in and complete maintenance requests at such a timely matter. Every time I put in a maintenance request it gets completed the same day, no joke!! They are kind and make sure that you are happy with the fixes and they are the only reason I vouch for the cottages.
Hannah Guan: quick reply to the service request
Jacqueline Mae Stowell: Positive:Quality,Valuemy service request was responded to quickly. The staff was friendly and efficiently completed the requested service, as they have all previous service requests.
Michael Alexander: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessThey did what they said they would do GREAT PEOPLE GREAT JOB
Nicholas Dewhirst: The repair was timely and actually was done ahead of when we expected. They were in and out in 20 minutes. No issues with the repair.
Amy Hoholikbandy: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessExcellent maintenance service at Elevation Apartments. They respond very quickly, are nice and professional and they get the job completed immediately. Very impressive every single time!
A: Work orders were completed in a timely manner. Granted, I did not need any major repairs. However, I would appreciate it if the management staff was more courteous. It would go a long way in making the residents feel welcomed.
Kim Batchelor: They wont fix the rotting staircase(Edit. They fixed 1 of the 2 rotting staircases)
Wanda Batman: I was very pleased with my experience with the maintenance team. I entered my request online and they were able to fix the issue very quickly and they had great communication on the follow up.
Molly Macdonald: Very timely in addressing my service issue as well as took the time to explain the issue to me, which was greatly appreciated.
Genna Taulbee: My fire alarm sounds EVERY time I open my oven, even if it's just preheating and I haven't cooked anything yet. It's not smokey, I think it might be the temperature change? Unclear. But my pets lose their mind every time I cook and it goes off. I called to have this addressed twice. The second time I called they gave me a "shower cap" to place over my fire alarm every time a cook.I was instructed to place it over my fire alarm when I cook or anticipate there being smoke. I've explained that it's NOT smoke that sets it off. And so the solution is to now get up on a chair or ladder, and place this shower cap over my alarm each time I use my oven. I feel like that's ridiculous, didn't actually fix anything and how am I the only unit to have this issue? Is there something wrong with the ventilation over the oven maybe? They did change my door batteries.

Eladott Real Estate & Property Management: what do users think?
john levy: Very bad experience. The laundry room door barely worked the year I lived here, and they have never fixed it. It takes tremendous effort to try to open it with they key, and have even had people ask me what I'm doing as to onlookers it looks like i am breaking into the laundry room. For 1000$ rent I would expect to be able to peacefully get into the laundry room. On top of that they promised us a certain unit and after signing the initial documents they said they made a mistake and we would have to move into another unit. They also gave basically no warning during finals week that all our water would be shut off for four days, only the city told us the day before, and then they emailed us very last minute. We had to find somewhere else to cook shower and go to the bathroom. There was also often construction randomly on the apartment unit which would wake us up.
Francesca Tucci: I have had a very pleasant experience with this company. Alexandria is truly amazing at her job and extremely professional. Any maintenance issue is resolved within 30 minutes to an hour. You won’t find a better leasing company in Ann Arbor - they truly are the best.
Jess Sikand: Fabulous team from the start of my son's lease to the end. Small glitches that came up (from our end) were accommodated and communication is prompt and informative. Never once did I feel like a bother to them. Thanks Jen and Alex.
Zachary Goldston: Excellent, professional, friendly, and willing to work with individuals to try and find places. I had the pleasure in staying in one of Eladott's recently acquired properties from their merger with Wickfield Properties. By move-in, they had done work to the outside of the building, smaller yet necessary repairs, replaced the older washing units, and made sure that parking spots are only held by actual pass owners instead of random strangers in the night.Maintenance was responsive, even in the middle of the night when we had a lock issue. The leasing office communicated when there was going to be maintenance done and for re-signing when the time came, before they showed the place to other potential leasers. Eladott truly has made themselves stand out for renting as a college student in Ann Arbor, and I hope they continue their strong track record and professionalism in the future.
Spencer Chin: We had a great experience renting through Eladott. They took over our apartment complex mid-lease and I immediately noticed an improvement in customer service. I worked mainly with Alexandria- she was very easy to communicate with and always responded promptly. In addition, repairs were taken care of quickly and the property was well maintained in general. Highly recommended!
Anna Pomper: I've lived in an eladott building for all of a week and I have to write a review because of how impressed I am. From installing new wooden floors before move in, to installing my ac unit and plastering over a dent in a wall (my fault, heavy furniture in a narrow staircase), without complaint or fees, they've really gone above and beyond. I really appreciate it, and it makes a huge difference when it comes to making the unavoidable stress of a new place more than manageable.
Grayson: Eladott on Packard St. was professional, courteous and responsive to my requests. Their property was well-maintained and I experienced no issues whatsoever. They were also incredibly kind to me during my four years with them. Highly recommend !!
Matthew Wamser: Eladott bought the building I lived in while I was mid-lease, so I only had a few months of experience with them. In that time they made a very good impression and were much more professional than my previous landlords in Ann Arbor. Eladott's communication with tenants is superb. Jen was very professional when she inspected our unit. And they handled our move out and security deposit refund very promptly. They would definitely be my first choice of landlord if I ever move back to Ann Arbor.
Oliver Murphy: Extremely professional and easy to work with. Never had a single issue.
Marla McCormick: Eladott is an amazing property management company to work with. They respect the residents and always are prompt to help with any issue right away!
Teresa MacLachlan: If you're looking for a beautiful and well maintained complex, gorgeous floorplans, and absolutely amazing staff, this is the place for you! I just signed my second lease here, and I hope to stay for years to come. Allie is absolutely incredible and takes care of any issues in a timely matter. I've had appliances break, let them know, and not even 30 minutes later they were there to make sure everything was in working order! I absolutely love living here! I would highly recommend this complex to everyone I know!!
Jenna Reid: I absolutely loved my experience here. Reasonably priced for a spacious and well maintained one bedroom apartment! Management was always responsive and easy to work with, I communicated with Allie and she was always so sweet and helpful! She even helped me find subtenants when personal circumstances required me to move out before my lease was up. I can't recommend them enough!
Lian Krishnan: Critical:ProfessionalismI lived here and they accused me of throwing a rock down the fire escape and then proceeded to try to not allow us to renew or lease because of this. Without any proof. Pretty unprofessional and not worth the price at all
Olga Karlinskaya: We worked with Allie (Alexandria) Vann from Eladott - she was incredible! Our family needed to terminate our lease early due to the birth of a child (we just needed a bigger space, closer to family) - Allie helped us list the existing place, showed it, and was incredibly helpful and professional (not to mention stellar to work with due to her communication skills). I HIGHLY recommend working with Allie!
Jana Shemano: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessEladott is one of the most responsive management companies I have ever worked with. Someone always answers your emails, problems, and maintenance requests. You can always count on them.
Maite Iribarren Vazquez: Positive:QualityThese are the kindest and most responsive landlords I've found in Ann Arbor and the property was great. I wish I'd found them sooner and highly recommend.
Maggie McConnell: Beautiful, unique houses and very responsive maintenance/services.
Alexander Newland (Alex): Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
William Nichols: Eladott is great. We just finished out our second year renting from them and they were nothing short of amazing. They responded quickly to emails, maintenance requests, and they were very easy to work with.I would definitely recommend renting from one of their properties.
Kelly Brueger: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessEladott is an amazing company to live with! I highly recommend them. Jen, Allie, and the whole Eladott team are very friendly and attentive with residents. Maintenance responded promptly with any issue there was. Definitely check them out!
Linda Lee: Jen and her team were incredibly responsive and kind in their property management throughout our lease with Eladott. Their maintenance crew was also very reliable and kept up with any issues (usually small) that came up. Especially this year with the pandemic and other hardships that came by, they were always willing to listen and reasonably work with their tenants! Even months after our lease together was over and I had moved away, they remained just as quick in their communications, helping me with documents/references that I needed to move again from a tough living situation. High recommend for their professionalism and quality of their units.

Chen Investment Group LLC: what do users think?
Hussein: Do bad
Cooking Papa: Have been living in one of his properties for over a year now and can say with great confidence that he is a gigantic slumlord. James Chen will NOT tend to your calls, his properties are not well kept and if there's a maintenance problem, rest assured there WILL BE, he will not fix it. There was a gutter hanging in one of HIS neighboring properties that is right near where we live that had been a safety hazard for well over a month. After receiving numerous complaints that it could fall any minute, he refused to fix it or remove it, stating that because of the snow it couldn't be fixed. Any other contracting company in Ann Arbor stressed how dangerous the roofing of the house is and that immediate action was required. Today we heard a loud bang nearby and of course it was the ENTIRE gutter along that side of the house. It had come down completely. If it had hit someone or a car passing by (it runs through a driveway) it could have easily killed someone. If you have any complaints he won't get it fixed until it literally breaks completely. He responds at his own leisure and does not care about the tenants. He doesn't used ANY licensed maintenance workers yet they are the ones who typically complete his repairs. He just does whatever is cheapest. If you manage to get someone to take a look at an issue they'll comment on the problem and say it needs to be fixed and NEVER come back. One of the walls wasn't sealed well so a worker took a look at it and disappeared like magic. I hope someone reports him to the city and he gets these properties taken away from him. The only reason anyone puts up with this is because he rents to predominantly college kids who need housing short term. An absolutely awful landlord, the worst I've ever had by far. DO NOT RENT FROM HIM.
