Bloom Wellness Spa & Hot Yoga: what do users think?
Lola Meyers: Pretentious owners. Yoga instructor is incredibly rude.
Hunter J: Went for a couples massage, it was amazing!! Very friendly, relaxing and comfortable. Ruth was the best! Thanks again!
Elena B: I had a great experience there! I tried sauna, chair massage and floating. It’s very clean and the ambience is relaxing and cozy. The staff is amazing! Thank you so much!
Carla Brown: The staff are so kind and welcoming. The facility is very clean, smells good, and it’s beautiful. I got the best sweat of my life in the yoga fusion class. I’m excited to take more classes!
Kelsey Jorgensen: After a different spa cancelled our massages at the last minute the receptionist at Bloom helped squeeze us in and have a truly relaxing experience. These massages were booked as a treat for my friend the day before her wedding and myself (as the maid of honor). We had two Swedish massages and our massage therapists were super communicative and did a great job working out any tense areas. The vibe and decorations in the spa are also really pretty, with lots of greenery and clean changing rooms. Would highly recommend!
Ashley Dowdy: Love this place! The spa is amazing, we did a package with massage and float. Massage therapist was wonderful, very relaxed atmosphere, clean, and friendly staff members. Float was a unique experience, first time and felt free and light. Recommend wearing the earplugs! Will definitely be back, and highly recommend!
Brittany Grashik: We did the couples package and it was such a nice treat! Massage, sauna, massage chairs, and float. Very clean and relaxing space. We would definitely go back!
Christina Middlebrook: This place was amazing! My spouse and I received the new couple’s massage package, Cassie and Rebecca provide the massage and were excellent. Then we headed into the infrared sauna and that too was amazing! I would recommend this place to any couple or individual looking for a very clean, professional, and relaxing setting! We will be coming back very soon! :)
Rebecca Garcia (Becky): The staff was very cordial and helpful. The rooms were clean and inviting. The massages by Ruth and Jerry were wonderful! We especially enjoyed our time in the adjustable shiatsu massage chair and float tubs -- would highly recommend!
Krista Foster: My daughter and I spent several hours at Bloom Wellness Spa this past Sunday! I was her birthday so I drove from Pittsburgh to spend time with her over the weekend. She is a 4th year Med student at UofM, as you can imagine she gets very little down time to relax. Bloom Wellness Spa provided the perfect venue and most wonderful experience for the two of us! I have ALL good things to say about our day start to finish!!! I would highly recommend making an appointment there and trying as many of their offerings as possible. We had 4 exceptional treatments. We will definitely go again!
Jeffrey Scott Basham: That was probably one of the best experiences of my life and I’m so happy my close friend gifted me with this experience. I’ve lived in Los Angeles the last 13 years and have had spa experiences that cost the amount of the “Spa Wellness Day” if one adds a zero. I feel so detoxified and relaxed. I would liken my experience at Bloom to a spiritual awakening where I was able to commune with my own life force. I cannot recommend them enough and I will refer my family, friends and anyone who can benefit from this gold standard in self care. I will take this experience with me everywhere I go. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Amy Owens: Bloom Wellness made my birthday spa day so special! The staff was so wonderful and accommodating. The services were incredible. I loved my birthday toast. Thank you for giving us all such a great day. From my 75 year old mom, to my 12 year old daughter, we all felt so special and pampered by the end of our session. Such a great hidden gem!! We will definitely be back soon!
Julia Meyer: One of the best spa experiences i’ve ever had 10/10 !!
Jessica Job: My husband booked me the Isolated Spa Day as a surprise after my 30th birthday was spoiled by me getting Covid. It was EXACTLY what I needed! I have two kids under two and spending almost two hours completely alone was a foreign, yet needed, concept. The music, lighting and ambiance was so relaxing and peaceful. I loved every second of it! The float tub was something I had never done and didn’t expect to love as much as I did! Highly recommend for anyone wanting some alone time!
Marquis Pease: My sister gave me a spa experience at bloom in June and I have been counting the days until I could return (I live in Florida). I love everything about this place. I am a member at a (different) spa and by far this is my favorite place. It is super clean, the massage is excellent, the weightless massage chair and the salt water float are out of this world. If I lived in town I would be here monthly!
Cynthia Hutchinson: Finally able to practice 26&2 again!!! So grateful for this space. I drive from Brighton to practice here. I’ve missed it so much!
Nicole Hendricks: This is a wonderful , the staff are all nice helpful and kind. The services are affordable and it’s very clean and smells good!
Cheri Donald: Had a great massage with a friend over Memorial Day weekend. The place was very clean and has a good atmosphere. I’d recommend if you’re looking for a massage in the Ann Arbor area. They also have a sauna and float pool.
Dylan Tucker: Really disappointing massage. Even if he had trimmed his nails and not scratched me a lot, it still would have been the worst massage I've ever bought
Ben Behjati: Before entering, you’ll see Bloom is its own free standing building (nothing wrong with plaza spa) and then once you walk in you are imidetly calmed by the ambience- I don’t want to spoil anything for you- I bought the ultimate package as a graduation gift and I think I’ll come back to get something for myself- after doing some searching online I’m so happy I came across this place- also very friendly staff and everything looked so nice and clean. Would highly recommend!
Angela walker: Jerry M. gave an amazing relaxation massage! The facility was very modern, clean, and relaxing.

NeuroFitness Wellness Center-Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Jonathan Jarman: Fantastic experience, beginning to end. From the welcoming and helpful staff to the services and environment.Introduced a friend to the float experience and we both had an amazing time. We are now talking about making it a monthly ritual.
Stephen Slattery: Definitely a great experience!
Sydney Joann: Erin is an Angel! She was so patient with all my questions, made sure I was more than comfortable before the float session, and guided me through my first time using cyro! I even got a membership for the rest of the month. It’s a lovely establishment and the location is a breeze to get to.
Rebecca MacPhee: Enjoyed at float here! Nice and clean facility with helpful staff.
kim mason: I had my first float this morning. Erin was very helpful explaining how everything works and what to expect. She suggested some stretching, which was great. It is the perfect environment to stretch. I thought I would be cold, but it was actually perfect. 60 minutes was the perfect amount of time. Took me a bit to completely relax. I didn’t like the head float, rather started with my hands behind my head. Within a few minutes I was able to gently let my hands float away from my head. I feel super relaxed!! Very nice experience!! I would suggest bring face cream. My face was pretty tight on my way home!!
Robert Palazzolo: Great service, you won't regret
Matt Abramowicz: Helpful and knowledgeable staff, very clean environment, and for my first float experience they had everything covered to make it worry free.
savannah bruton: I loved the experience! This was my first time floating, it is something I’ve wanted to try for a long time. Erin was very kind & knowledgeable. She showed us around the space and let us choose which room we were wanted to use based on the experience we were looking for. I floated in the pod and absolutely loved it. I floated with classmates before heading to school. What a great way to start the day! I will definitely be back.
S S: Everything about NeuroFitness meets and exceeds expectations. The staff are all wonderful kind people and the services they offered are very healing to the body.
Starr Johnson: Angela the manager is absolutely amazing. NeuroFitness is one of my favorite places to go for health and wellness.
Julie Maher: I was pleasantly surprised by how much I was able to relax! I enjoyed my float and felt great afterwards for days past the experience. The pool, room and shower were very clean and quiet.
Nordic Silver: Amazing, everything here is next level and does exactly what it says it will do.
Jason Buchanan: Great float as always! I just wish they still offered ear plugs.
Jennifer Stollman: Wonderful and serene place. Clean and with compassionate wellness facilitators. I highly recommend using NeuroFitness Wellness Center's services.
Heidi Miles: First time floater here, it was so relaxing. I will be back and try the pod room.
lordgeneral9: Friendly and professional. I will return another floating tank session.
Susan Hubbard: Angela was customer conscientious as soon as I walked through the door!!I called for a reservation since I didn’t get a response with Chat Bot on the website. No biggie. I recommend the salt bath for those that need the relaxation, and drying out the sinuses and lungs. Thank you!!
Deborah Bohn: First meeting Jack, he’s awesome & fun. Then we experienced the biofeedback machine and the salt room, coming back the next night for the float tanks….I’ve done float tanks (or sensory deprivation tanks) and this was the best. No lights showing under the doors or from the halls. Then we came back for the cryofreeze therapy! Since you get $20 off the first service, we put ours towards another visit. Btw: the article for Crazy Wisdom will come from the author, Marie Duquette, who tried this out with me.
Joan Bradley: Didn’t know what to expect. I have a difficult time relaxing so I will try one more time to see if my experience is different. Very friendly staff, location easily accessible, facility is small and could use a little updating.
Deborah Magee: I absolutely love this place. I particularly like the pod experience. I find it very beneficial for helping me to calm my mind and find peace, serenity & clarity within myself. I strongly recommend it for others. It’s relaxing and very therapeutic.
Noah Higa: Accidentally scheduled my appointment an hour ahead, gave them a call & Jack switched my appointment with no problem. Because of my current health complications, after i got out of the float tank they offered me a complementary run with the cryotherapy machine and WOW! All i have to say is i’m bringing my mom with me next time i go !

Liberty Athletic Club: what do users think?
Aaron Shady: Shelby was absolutely wonderful.. other young lady has a Very Nasty attitude and is Extremely condescending… really wanted to join this club but now very hesitant after dealing with such a poor attitude, especially when dealing with a future member. Completely unacceptable and is very unfortunate. She should not be behind the front desk representing this club.
Mike Juras: Great club. Nice courts. Looks like a lot of fun amenities.
Alison: Edited to Add:After being a member for over a year I still like Liberty but think they could upgrade some things. The chairs by the pool look worn out, mismatched and cheap, not representative of a higher end club. They don’t have shampoo and conditioner in the locker rooms. Other similar priced clubs in my experience have these. We have been a member of Liberty Athletic Club for several years, it can be a little on the pricier side but the facilities are nice, and if you come here often it's definitely worth it. The gym is nice, and the play area, pools and outdoor pools and slides for kids are wonderful.
Loyd Gitari: Spacious gym, six indoor tennis courts - plus outdoor; indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Nice place all around.
Matthew Stewart-Fulton: Excellent facilities, comprehensive services. It comes with a higher price than other facilities but you get your money's worth.
A “Nightmare” T: Critical:Communication,ProfessionalismSave your money, Planet Fitness has better equipment and is around the corner. Also theres real yoga across the street at Imagine Fitness.
Richard Belanger: Nice lap pool and outdoor pool complex for the summer. Good for tennis as well.
Luke Tracy: I’ve enjoyed being a member. The club is well run and well equipped.
Dennis Sylvester: Great facility and community. Highly recommend.
Anita Bengry: Great club, friendly staff
Julie Stetten: We've just returned after a 5 year break, we had to join as new members. But the great thing is that 4 personal training sessions were included, a family pass for friends, a spa coupon for a free massage, and many others.I love the energy of the place and that there are people of ALL ages, babies to very seasoned, and everyone in the middle. I've started in the "oldies classes" with Joan and she is beyond inspirational and teaches so well, I always can follow, and she constantly reminds us of form and proper position. Our Personal Trainer, Brian, is also SO knowledgeable and we are learning the basics of proper posture and alignment, and how to use the machines correctly. All of our staff interactions have been kind and professional. The club is totally worth the fee and monthly cost, and you get so many classes from which to choose. So much better than spending the same fee for just one yoga class somewhere else. If I can't make one timeslot , there is another one I can do, or use my personal exercise plan. The physical property is well maintained and clean. The outdoor pools for laps and the other pool for kids are safe with life guards. Our kids loved hanging out and playing basketball. It was just great for them to be in a safe environment with no access to TVs, just physical playing.WELL WORTH THE COST!!!
Oso Proper: Not the best gym to go to. Every time I went last year something's closed or they close for employee parties or something's shut down.on on.like the pool and jacuzzi, or half the entire place! One rude blonde lady at front desk..idkNot worth the cost imo, dirty showers, and they charge for tennis?seriously . I paid $20 to get in and didnt get to use the shutdown areas and they dont seem to care. I've been to nicer clubs
Stephanie C: I was visiting the area for a weekend. I wanted to go to 2 classes....apparently this gym doesn't have day passes. It is the FIRST fitness center in all my years of travel to all different states (and countries) that doesn't have a day pass program. I was completely turned off by this policy that smacks of snobbery.
Jake L: Nice facility, but the cost of it is not proportional when compared with other rec centers.
Andra bostian Ferguson: Best place in town ! Clean, friendly, great equipment, great variety of classes. No judgment zone.
Candice Roth: Very nice facilities! The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. We love the cafe and the pools too. The child care options are great too and add so much to the membership value. We really enjoy the club and it is perfect for families!
Audrey Newell: Facilities are very good but some staff are really nasty. For decades, at the end of every year, they sent all members a free guest pass for up to 4 people. They said it was a holiday "gift" to members. I loved these, and saved them for special occasions when I was bringing a family. It was fine if I brought a 2012 ticket in 2013. But today, all of a sudden the front desk staff said I could not use my 2013 "gift" in 2016. Imagine if someone gave you a birthday present and later snatched it back from you. Nice facilities, just be prepared for occasional meanness.
kusull kim: If only they had beds...I would so move in!!! 😬
Joe Superfruit: Best place for my kids and me
Robin Weber Pollak: Our whole family LOVES Liberty. The family pools, indoor and outdoor, are fantastic. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and on the ball. The equipment and facilities are well maintained and up-to-date. The day care staff and space are excellent. It is well worth the membership cost.
belgerian: They do have sign up fee plus the first 2 months fee upfront. The monthly family membership is more than most but you get more for you money. Life guarded pool times for kids, the child care, the play area kids over 8 do not have to be accompanied in the play area or if the pool is lifeguarded. In the summer time outdoor pool is life guarded. The facility is very clean staff is very courteous, and there have been times I have left my ipod on a machine even left my phone in locker room and it was returned to the desk. parking on site. I have tried the local YMCA which is less for a family membership but we went back to liberty they are more family friendly. I even checked into the local wellness center it is a nice facility but for a membership of 4 the monthly cost is not that much less and they are more restrictive on unaccompanied children.

LA Fitness: what do users think?
Kailea Neubig: This is the most amazing club, all staff is super friendly and club itself is always clean. Very uplifting and positive environment which is really helps motivate me to workout. I would recommend this gym to anyone who wants to be surrounded by genuine people with a common goal of bettering themselves.
Andre Calhoun: Literally most disgusting gym ive ever been to. Bathrooms literally go unclean for weeks.
Kristopher Lussenden: Nice amenities but place is in dire need of cleaning. Garbage is all over the floor in the locker and pool areas. Last few months seen a steady decline in cleanliness. Other LA fitness I have been much nicer and clean.
Brian Thomas: Extremely cold and not a good atmosphere.
GBarr-Ann Arbor: Terrific doing training sessions with Faith - she’s conscientious, listens & designed a good workout for all round fitness. She also explains, answers questions and is very personable.
Jaqueline Vaz Vanini: Really recommend doing personal training with Joe!
Avery: I have been to other locations all over the state and to hear people say this club is dirty is crazy! This location is by far the nicest club I've been to, the staff there is so hardworking and they don’t get enough credit for their work. Belle is a great addition as well, seems like she's really done a lot to improve the place. If you're looking for a good gym, this is definitely one you should look into.
Renata Hann: Joe is very helpful and informative. He explained the process of achieving my lean fitness goals that was understandable and clear. Very pleasant to work out with!
theukrainianguy (VM): One of the cleanest LA’s I’ve been to! and I drive a truck all over the country so I’ve been to quite a few of them so this says a lot!
Jeff Flynn: I appreciate my LA Fitness. It has maintained cleanliness which makes my workout time all the better. I am a swimmer and this pool is exceptional, The Yoga and Pilate classes have served me well. The best part of this LA Fitness is the camaraderie of fellow clients, I appreciate Joe, our personal trainer, for his smile and encouragement. You can't go wrong with this facility.
Ted Roby: IT'd be a cold day in HE.L.L before I'd say this...but just choose the purple gym. LA fitness is certainly not what it used to be.Upkeep has been terrible. Turn over is high. They clearly don't pay their employees enough, but have no problem charging premium prices for sub par services.Update: 3/28/24-Still no direct update from staff on status.Went to gym today and all 5 main soap dispensers were completely empty. when notifying front desk staff, they just shrugged it off. Turn over rate on cleaning staff has seeemed to be very high. sad they ask for high fees but pay their staff poorly.Update: 3/21/24-Made several points of contact about this to front desk, “messages” through the app and even one to corporate. Not one response. Will update once corrected!3/7/2023- MENS SAUNA IS BROKEN, CANT SEEM TO REPAIR!I have been a member since opening day. At the time it was a wonderful place. However, post covid, it has seem to really gone down hill.from general cleanliness, machine maintenance upkeep to broken amenities. The Sauna has been limping along for well over a year.approximately half of the heating elements are out.(cool to the touch)Infrared sauna is stated to be around 145 degrees, despite warning sign saying 185.Thermometer barely breaks 110 & is below 100 when people are in and out.Only the upper seating elements work. and only one unit is above 500degrees.There have been several "work orders" completed on it to which they say resolved, but this clearly is not accurate.I cannot get a clear answer as to any new work orders or willingness to repair it other than "it is very expensive."I suppose the rates are too cheap to justify repairs.
Noah Peterson: As the owner of a gym, it is important to maintain a high level of professionalism and quality in order to retain customers and build a positive reputation in the fitness industry. However, if the owner is not running a proper gym and lacks the necessary skills and knowledge to do so, it can lead to embarrassment and negative consequences. Here in lies LA FITNESS ANN ARBOR:Some of the ways in which a lack of proper gym management can lead to embarrassment include:Poor equipment maintenance: If gym equipment is not properly maintained, it can become rusty, broken, or dangerous to use. This can lead to injuries and lawsuits, and can also make the gym appear unprofessional and unappealing to potential customers. CASE IN POINT, Many of LA FITNESS machinery is clearly falling apart.Lack of cleanliness: A dirty gym with equipment covered in sweat and grime can be a major turnoff for customers. It can also lead to health and safety issues, and may result in negative reviews and loss of business.CASE IN POINT: LA FITNESS TO THE Forefront! good luck washing your hands with over 8 sinks, yet not soap in the dispensers. And fat chance looking at yourself in the mirror beyond all the dirt speckling. its as if they havent washed them in years.Inadequate staff training: If gym staff are not properly trained in customer service, safety procedures, and equipment usage, it can lead to confusion and frustration among customers. This can result in negative feedback and a loss of business.ONCE AGAIN, LA FITNESS FOR THE WIN!Try telling the staff of an issue. theyll look at your with a dumb look and just smirk it off.Overall, running a proper gym requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a willingness to invest in the necessary resources and training. If an owner is not able to provide these things, it can lead to embarrassment and a damaged reputation in the fitness industry.Talk about embarrassment-The purple gym has a much higher rating, cleaner facility, up to date equipment and a friendly staff.Keep at it LA, you may make a come back.... lol
Patrick Crane: one major issue with LA Fitness is the poor quality and maintenance of their gym equipment. Many clients that I know have reported encountering broken or worn-out machines and weights, which can be frustrating and even dangerous. This lack of maintenance can result in injuries, especially if gym-goers are not able to properly adjust equipment or use it safely.Furthermore, LA Fitness is slow to respond to equipment repair requests or that the repairs are not completed satisfactorily. This lack of attention to equipment maintenance and repair can create an uncomfortable environment and lead to sub-par workouts.Overall, the poor state of equipment and lack of proper maintenance at LA Fitness may make it a less than ideal choice for individuals looking for a high-quality gym experience. It's unfortunate to realize that LA Fitness seems to be overcharging for their services, providing subpar service, and possibly paying their employees below a fair wage. These factors can contribute to a negative gym experience for customers and a challenging work environment for employees.Overcharging for gym services can be frustrating for any and all customers who expect a certain level of quality and may feel like they are not getting their money's worth. Similarly, if employees are being paid below a fair wage, it can lead to high turnover rates, which can impact the quality of service provided by the gym.Furthermore, if LA Fitness is not investing in its employees or providing adequate training, it can lead to employees who are not properly equipped to handle customer needs or perform their jobs effectively. This can further contribute to a negative gym experience for customers.Overall, these factors can all contribute to a less than ideal gym experience for customers at LA Fitness. It's important that you carefully consider these factors when deciding whether or not to join a gym and to conduct thorough research before making any decisions. While I am the absolute last person to say the purple gym is any good, I’d much rather go there then here.
Chris Golen: Clean with polite workers, let me try it. I was thinking about adding (Signature). But to be honest they cost more and always have less amenities. This place was nice, and pretty quiet during the day.
David Luckas: I've been a member at LA fitness for 5+ years. I was unaware that they were charging me "LATE FEES" for no reason without telling me! Beth or Bell whatever she calls her self the "operations manager" was extremely rude and condescending to me over the phone.Make sure your LA fitness monthly charges line up with your membership cost every month because she will not give you your money back and they will not tell you about "LATE FEES". In fact she told me that I'm lucky that it's not more. It's nice to see another Ann Arbor business supporting Fee-FlaitionWhat a scam
Eileen Canfield: Locker rooms are always dirty. Lockers always have hair, dirt etc.
B: Ann Arbor was decent until things started falling. Machines/cushion pad’s broken and not fixed for weeks. Equipments down for maintenance for months. Club is randomly closed in the morning hours, unannounced because responsible team wont show up to open the club. This used to be a decent workout place, now its a downfall!
Peter Kober: The staff frequently doesn't show when it opens in the morning making it impossible to get a workout in before work. Go someplace else.
Finnbarr Conroy-Martin: It's got about everything I need
Gloria Galan: I'm glad felt different light weight from working out in Gym with everything and kicking jerk and Soda causing of The Doctors and Hositpal Billings
Justin: Mehhh

The Health & Fitness Center at Washtenaw Community College: what do users think?
Hannah Wise: Great massage therapist! Impressive!!!
Veronica Kerr: Very pleasant experiences here overall. Clean and respectful! Staff is always informative and courteous. Equipment is well maintained. I joined via the myfixRX program and am pleased with how well it is going.
Josephine Brown: I love coming here, but it’s frustrating that almost all the classes fill up super quick now. That was my whole reason for joining. If possible it would be great if they could add more classes.
Kathleen Hiraga: The best gym anywhere! Staff, personal trainers, Zach their massage therapist and classes are all top-notch.
Sage Belrose: Very lovely space. Felt more like a spa than a gym. Natasha helped me with signing up and gave me a tour. Vlad helped me with paperwork. Sara has been my personal trainer and has done a fantastic job of knowing my needs and creating unique routines that push my limits.
kat m: Zach is amazing 🤩 get a massage with him you won’t regret it Best massage ever !!! N great prices too
Jackie Whitus: A little pricier but the amenities and group fitness classes make it well worth the money.
Mone W: Vladimir was condescending towards me when I checked in today. He referred to me as a "valued customer" when he knows I'm not a customer and I'm part of another program associated with WCC.
Mark Schoenhals: It’s a decent lifting gym, not very busy and the track is nice. Also, the locker room is nice. However, the free weight area leaves a bit to be desired, and it’s a very small area compared to the rest of the gym. The lighting is quite dim, and there is very little “energy” in the gym, overall. Nice place but it just feels like the hospital that’s next door.
Jim Edwards: Nicest (but not the cheapest) gym in the area. Mostly back to the pre-pandemic norms, but you still are supposed to reserve your spot in any of the classes that are offered.
Laura Otto Phillips: The Massage Therapist Zach on site was very thorough & professional. I got an amazingly effective massage & some good, specific feedback.
Ruth Shamraj: I highly recommend the massage services of Zachary Storey. He is a courteous, professional, and skilled massage therapist with several years of experience. He listens to what the client says and always asks to see if the client is comfortable.
Bill Moran: Everything is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Whirlpool is a very nice place after a workout.
Michelle Keen: Love this place! They provide towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, qtips and water as well as self creating locks, women's/men's only hot tubs and wet and dry saunas- I believe they have a Co-ed hot tub as well in the pool area...and exercise classes, exercise machines and free weights as well as nutritional classes and incentives to work out!
Sherri Fountain: Zach Stoney, the massage therapist at WCCTHFC, is amazing and so good at what he does! In addition to being a great massage therapist, he has a mild manner and is an excellent “teacher.” He has taught me a lot about anatomy and how to relax and enhance my health! I highly recommend him! 🤗
Andre Kormendi: Great facility, all the free weights and machines you could want, plus sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, lap pool, heated saltwater pool, 1/8 mile indoor track. A ton of classes and trainers available as well, at both free and reasonable cost. Friendly folk, individual combination lockers. Nice showers, including handicap accessible ones, suit dryers. Free lotion, deodorant, hair spray, mouthwash. All wrapped in a clean and well maintained package. You really couldn't ask for more.
Holly Ganger: The actual facility is wonderful but the staff members have such a lack of communication between each other. If you call you’ll be on hold for a long time and you’ll just constantly be transferred from one person to another. Nobody seems to know what’s going on or are able to answer questions about classes.
Jamie MacLaren: I’m a huge fan of THFC at WCC! The membership cost seems a little high at first but when you realize what all it includes, it’s well worth the cost. Having locker and towel service included is a huge bonus, most classes included, and pool/hot tubs/sauna/steam room. As a runner, I really appreciate the indoor track for the winter days that are too cold or too icy to run outside. I’ve always had positive interactions with staff and have appreciated all the ways they’ve protected their patrons during COVID.
jeffrey willets: I LOVE this place.. the people who work there, the equipment, the steam room, the warm and cold lap pools and the whirlpools.. I also love the massages I've received (you sign up for them).. Zach has given me two great massages (deep tissue) and I feel like a million bucks! (but you don't need a million bucks to join or to get a massage:)...
Maartje van den Bogaard: Love this gym! The equipment is great, there are many options to vary in routines to keep up motivation. Staff is super helpful. The only thing I think should be improved is opening hours. Evening hours are limited.
Ryan Quick: This is known as the best gym in A2, hands down not only is it the best in the city it has even more perks than the “VIP” gym Equinox.

Ann Arbor Athletic Club: what do users think?
Justin Francis: Max and Kate with AAAC we’re amazing to work with. My son was a junior in high school looking to excel in football his senior year. He was able to meet with them and come up with a very specific program geared just for his goals. He was able to work hard and gain 30 lbs of muscle, increase is speed and power. He is now on track to break most of the football records at his school. We owe a lot of his success to max and the trainers at AAAC, without there dedication and knowledge to help him learn, understand and to create workouts geared towards goals and ability, he would not be where he is today. I can’t sing enough praise to the team that helped make my sons goals a reality. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to excel in sports or just simply excel in a healthy fit lifestyle. Well done!
Jeremy Balch: Kate is an awesome trainer with years of experience. Great location and beautiful space. Only cross training gym in downtown!
Danielle Falcon: Great trainers- flexible access, and innovative approach. Highly recommend!
Bill: Love AAAC!! They have all the different equipment you could ever want (strength, cardio, and more), as well as different testing and recovery devices to optimize your workout.Your workout plan can be as personalized as you want them, and the staff is great with coaching based on individual needs.
Erica Gordon: I have been working out with Kate for about 7 years. She is super knowledgable, upbeat and committed to helping you be the best You. I was, at first, a nervous about my ability but the programs are structured to let you modify any exercise as you need. I've improved my endurance, strength and mobility. Ann Arbor Athletic Club is an important part of my life and lifestyle.
Bobby Madamanchi: Kate provides the best combination of technology and fundamental training I’ve ever experienced. The body comp testing gives me objective data about my progress which I’ve found helps me stay motivated.
Nick Wang: Great place to workout! Kate is engaged and committed to helping you achieve your fitness goals. All programming is customized to each individuals schedules and abilities.
Britany Affolter-Caine: Kate and the AAAC team of coaches combine expertise and enthusiasm to provide detailed, personalized training to help clients achieve their fitness goals. I particularly appreciate how the coaches meet me where I am, consider all my injuries, hectic schedule and abilities to develop a program for success. Fellow clients are also pretty great, creating an atmosphere of support and fun in the gym.
Maureen Welch: Kate is an excellent coach who adapts your training to your changing needs. I'm a long-time Crossfit athlete who gave birth two years ago. Kate programmed me a post-partum work out progression that allowed me to regain my strength without compromising my recovery. I'm in better shape after this pregnancy than I was after my first pregnancy in my early 20s. AAAC is a great facility with excellent coaching and programming. I recommend highly.
Daniel Ostroff: Kate was very nice and has an impressive facility. I think if you are overall healthy and your goal is to simply to train, she is an excellent choice. I do not recommend her if your goal is injury rehabilitation. She does not include mobility, flexibility or range of motion work into her workouts. All of these are crucial in my opinion for injury rehabilitation, even more so than strength training.
Justin Barbat: Unreal trainers!!!! Always motivating us and strong wellness promoters!! Good vibes only!
Karyn Kummer: This is a place where you can come and get motivated, get happy, get strong, get healthy, and probably get anything you want....even sloppy dog kisses while you do your squats (if that's your thing). In all seriousness though - you will be happy you came. You will get one on one coaching with a focus on the best movement for you - how to avoid injury, how does your body work, why you need to eat the things to make you stronger, and how important your mental health is for your physical health. Ann Arbor Athletic Club is the whole package and whatever your particular goal is - big, small, or in-between - you will be supported here and driven to become your best self. The team will work with your particular needs to create a specialized training plan that supports your lifestyle, your location, your availability, your level, and basically YOU!
Bridget Baisch: Positive:QualityThey work with me to keep inflammation to a minimum while I increase my cardio fitness endurance and muscle strength. I love that they trust I know my body and never push me when I’m not feeling my best. The best news is I feel better than ever and everyday life isn’t physically taxing.
Vishobh Veetto: Great coaching
Nate Donovan: Absolutely love these guys. They’re so incredibly kind, patient, and willing to help people with any type of athletic back ground.Super super lucky to have found them and so so excited for the new space!!!

Spavia Day Spa - Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Jeanette Bogosian: Great way to relax and treat yourself!
Courtney Hendrickson: Always a relaxing experience with high quality services!
Lorena Wenger: Jackie is fantastic for massages. I always ask for her. You will be happy with your experience at spavia. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Thank you
M.A. Wyatt: This was my first visit to Spavia and it was wonderful! The staff were all lovely and the facility is calm and clean. I'd definitely recommend a visit!
Caroline Fitzgerald: I have never been to a spa like Spavia. The details are so unique and mindful: for example, what kind of music do you want, are you okay with talking during your treatment, the luxurious robes, the mints in the bathroom, the sandals, the lockers to store your things, the warm neck towels while you wait, even the advertising to moms- I’m in love with this place. Everyone is so kind, the whole vibe is kind, gentle, and welcoming. I feel like I’ve found my place and will not be going anywhere else!
Kelsey Jorgensen: I made an appointment for two massages the day before my friend’s wedding as a treat to her and myself as the maid of honor. Spavia called and cancelled less than 10 minutes before our appointment. They didn’t bother to try and offer a backup plan, and the receptionist insinuated that they hadn’t even bothered to book anyone for us. Don’t come here if you are seeking any sort of relaxation or stress relief, I recommend Bloom Wellness Spa close by as they accommodated us last minute and made my friend feel pampered the day before her wedding. This spa should be ashamed of themselves and completely revamp their customer service.
Cristina Bara: Julie was amazing and very educated about skin and recommendations. love!!
Jessica Hyde: Favorite place to relax and unwind! Staff is very professional. Highly recommend!
Cosette Girardot: This was easily the best massage I have ever had. The massage therapist was super attentive to parts of my body that had stress and was able to actively sooth any pain I have. Cannot recommend enough
keyheatia walker: The soft stone massage was delicate and relaxing. Perfect end to a stressful day!
Dorothy Bachman: Amazing experience! I always have a wonderful day at the spa here. Abe is my favorite.
Kimberly McLean: Eddie is absolutely fantastic! I just had a 60 min deep tissue massage that could not have been better. Highly recommend!!
iman simmons: I had a very disappointing massage today. 60 mins of unorganized pressure points and wasted time. I asked the massage therapist (I won’t specify their name - perhaps they were having a hard day?) - what massage style they were practicing. They said “firm, because you asked for firm”. And I was like “okay, but is this Swedish? As in long strokes and continuous kind of flowing movements?” And they were like “yeah”. And in my mind I was thinking “this is the most disappointing massage I’ve had in decades. It was disjointed, no muscles were rubbed, just random bad laying on of hands. I won’t seek services here again, sadly.
Courtney Kliss: Had a really nice time here, everyone was friendly and great at service. The retreat room was relaxing and well stocked with tea and heated neck pillows, it was nice to unwind a bit between my appointments and just use the space to sip tea and just be still. My massage and facial were both very nice and the perfect way to unwind after illness, work stress, and many gray Michigan winter days.
Dr. Rubina Tahir: The environment is peaceful and relaxing. I had a 60 min signature massage with Jackie. She is a talented massage therapist ! I highly recommend- she zoned in right on my shoulder issue and spent time to work out trigger points. I feel much better today.
Rohith Bhatt Alape: The ambience is amazing and the staff are polite. Very informative specialist who worked with me. Definitely recommend
Jennifer Ludwig: Amazing!!! Best experience at a day spa ever!! Will absolutely be returning!
Julie Rogers: Such a great experience! Ariana is very thorough and makes you feel well taken care of. Everyone is really nice and welcoming. A very calm place to be!
Christina York: Excellent service. Professional, very clean and a wonderfully relaxing environment.
Melanie Bale: Always an amazing and relaxing experience
Rita Maizy: Eddie is the absolute best! I have been a client here for many years and love my service every single time!
