Mahzad Tafvizi: Worst experience with bofa, someone named "Joshua" supposed to assist me and apparently he just wanted to get rid of the customer!
Alex Johnson: I can't think of a worse experience. I moved CASH from one account to another ACCOUNT and BOFA system had the transaction as "pending." In these instances, the branch manager has the authority to make the funds available. A teller refused and said it was impossible. I had a closing and needed the funds. LUCKILY FOR ME....I called the BOA on Woodward and Mack and the branch manager stepped in, called and got them to write the check.I was a frequent visitor to that BOFA and there's just 0 reason for them to have treated me so rudely. Getting access to YOUR money doesn't need to be this difficult. (They waived the $15 fee without me asking, but at this point, the damage was done).

Scott Gifford: Do not use Bank of America! There telephone call center is horrible. Person could not answer my questions but failed to get someone who could. Then went to a Bank of America branch in Grosse Point for assistance. Staff person was very helpful but he had to use the same call in center for the bank. Again no help and the answers to my questions did not make sense. No offer to look further into the issue with my credit card account. I am in the process of changing my bank. This is what happens when banks get to big to fail.
Dz Nutz: THESE SOCKCUCKERS CHARGED ME $8 TO CASH A $40 CHECK!!!! This branch judges people by how they look and how they dress. The teller never charged me before and said it was a new policy to urge people to start an account with them. When I said no, the guy got mean and nasty and I had to tell him to kiss something.
Charlie B: While the building is nice the teller couldn't have been more rude. I asked if he could make change. He said no because I didn't have an account. I said I understand and it was worth asking. I asked if he knew a place I could go like a credit union as I'm from out of town and not familiar with the area. He said "that's not my problem, you can google it and get out of here." Wow... His attitude gives them 1 star, not the fact that he wouldn't make change. Rules are rules and I get that.
Dr. Q: This branch is in a world-famous art-decor iconic building. Bankers are nice except for the one who asks many intrusive questions to people in line ---- make every client being questioned and even unquestioned bystanders feel uncomfortable.
Gul Virk: I’ve come here every day this week at different times of the day for the notary and not once has she been there. I even called to see if she was there, but by the time I got there (about 15 minutes) she was gone. What a waste. Maybe they need to hire a notary who is actually going to do their job.
Tiffany Lauren Byrd: Bank of America is by far the worst and inconsiderate financial institution. It does not take customer finances into consideration. If at all possible never bank with this institution. If you have accounts with Bank of America it would best to close all business and go elsewhere. This institution does not even deserve one star.

Asked for clarification, maybe open the account online. Then told just 5 more minutes. In that time I’ve applied online and am still waiting. It shouldn’t take an hour to open a checking account. I’m going to leave now 🙁So… as I was leaving I was called back and the woman who helped me was an absolute PLEASURE. As I was leaving I asked her name, she said it was in my envelope but there wasn’t a business card in the envelope so I can’t call her out by name. The branch takes appointments, which I now know. Really wonderful service, nice staff 💜

I see Seniors in this line for over 30 mins to get sent away because they left their id or debit card only to have to stand in this long line all over again.... S B: Visited this branch a few times. It is the best downtown, in branch, experience. Very pleasant branch manager and team. Even the security guard is pleasant. You feel welcomed upon entry. It’s a high traffic branch, so expect a bit of a wait, but the line moved quickly. They give each customer proper attention and have good attitudes. Parking is a bit of a challenge however there’s a large lot, right next door, at Whole Foods.
J Worthington: 2 bankers with no customers yet no one can take 3min to close my bank account. Took the money out at the teller but was told to call customer service to close account. This is why I'm closing my account!!! Horrible customer service!!!

Always long lines at ATM's and one is always broken. They close a few minutes early, open a few minutes late. Zero balance credit card gets cancelled, five books of checks burned and Changing banks next week!

Cj Whitfield: This place is ABSOLUTELY ATTROCIOUS! Came in sat over 10 min without even being acknowledged. 4 workers inside they had one customer attending to. I've been here before and its terrible each time. This is the straw that broke the camels back. This location doesn't exist anymore as far as im concerned. Im taking 25k Opening a chase account and leaving it there for when I have to do banking that requires just the absolute minimum level of customer service.

The Dispute claim services are a joke and I've been trying to get them to solve a duplicate payment from my auto insurance company which was an error.Now the dispute department has informed me that they weren't able to resolve or go through with the claim. A huge disappointment when needing my money back from a second charge that shouldn't be there when the first payment has went through.I will be switching banking companies as soon as my future deposits come through.

Came here to cash a check and the person who wrote the check to me misspelled "one thousand" by missing the o. They wouldn't cash the check eventhough the number $1,000 was clear. Another time I had a bigger check and person wrote my name in cursive, their writing made the o in my name look like a cursive "a" and they wouldn't cash check, eventhough I have 3 accounts with BOA. This is the worst bank I've ever been to. Took both checks to a different branch and no problems.

Dr L Jackson: This location had air fresheners located in the lobby and at each station in the bank...this should be a health hazard! A lot of people with respiratory problems and asthma would have breathing issues with inhaling these poisonous artificial chemicals called fragrance. Especially putting these in a commercial establishment, I have never seen that before. There's pure essential oils that could be an alternative to freshening the air as well as kill bacteria in the process. I will not visit that location again.
