Kenedi Autumn: As someone who normally needs the maximum amount of numbing agent to get through any sort of dental work and still feels pain, I’ve avoided going to remove my wisdom teeth for an embarrassing amount of time. With that being said, I can assure you it won’t be the same experience here. I’ve been through many offices, dental & regular medical, and this is the first completely pain-free experience I’ve ever had when it comes to procedures. It’s only been a few hours and even though I have most of my feeling back, my pain is super manageable, & I’m already up taking care of all 3 of my kids. Everyone on the staff is great as well. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 Stars

Can Hart: Would’ve given it 10 stars if I could! Went in to get all four wisdom teeth out. Best dental office I’ve ever been to! I was a little nervous because I’ve never had anything done on my mouth before, and I’ve heard people say it was painful and pretty much everything else under the sun. I’m writing this hours after my surgery and I can say no pain whatsoever. Swollen lip is the only thing I got from this whole procedure. Dr. Lesneski was super informative and super nice. Everyone I talked to was super nice and helpful. This is my new dental office if I need anything done!

LeeAnne Cartwright: I had 6 teeth extracted on 10/21/21. I was stressing a ridiculous amount about the procedure. Dr Goffas was extremely calming, kind, open and patient listening to my list of concerns. I would highly recommend him! I was in pain and crummy feeling for maybe 3 days. Everything I was afraid of happening didn't happen. If you have high anxiety or have been contemplating oral surgery out of fear I would strongly suggest you go see Dr Goffas. I can't thank him enough.

Martha Mader: For over 2 years my back left molar has been broken off down to the roots, I fought and fought to get them removed but no one would touch it due to my extremely high anxiety levels reguarding dental work. However once I was referred to Metropolitan Oral Mxlfcl Surgery I felt like I found the right fit for me! The friendly staff worked around the clock fighting with my insurance company just to get these teeth out after meridian messed up my records.. It took these wonderful people a month but they pulled through for me and I couldn't have been more relieved! I absolutely love this office and all the employees that work there. Truely the best expirence I've ever had. I got two teeth removed so effortlessly thanks to the dentist, knocked out and woke up with two less teeth, my anxiety was golden each time I went in to the office and that is a bonafided miracle in my book. I would highly, 10/10, 2000% recommend this place to anyone like myself!! Great job everyone!!!
Kelly Klingler: Dr Goffas and Doug are very nice to work with, however JANE is so rude. The morning of my wisdom extraction my husband and I were told the anesthesia would be covered so I decided to go with that, otherwise if it wasn’t covered I could of had it numbed and extracted because the tooth wasn’t impacted. Well I got a bill for $232.70 (and had already paid $176 the day of my appt) and called twice, first time Jane never bothered to call me back so I called again and she was SO rude and raising her voice at me. I asked to speak to her boss and she said I am the boss and I’ve been doing this for 20 years. And she eventually hung up on me. WOW this was by far the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. It’s a shame that Dr Goffas will lose patients due to Jane and her lack of communicating nicely.
T W: I had an appointment with Dr. Gilbert R. Kleiff for a wisdom teeth removal consultation. I had confirmed the appointment the day before at 4:30pm with the secretary and she repeatedly stated that "The Dr. has to travel 1 hour for this appointment so you cannot cancel".When I arrived the next morning for my 9am appointment, they said Dr. Kleiff had cancelled the appointment.The secretary said she left a message but we never received a message from her and I had to travel 1 hour for a cancelled appointment. It is extremely unprofessional for the secretary AND the dentist to cancel an appointment with a patient right before their office closes when it was made clear that I would not be able to cancel if need be.When I arrived to my cancelled appointment, the secretary was very rude and repeatedly insisted that she called and left a message.****This was a waste of my time and I will not be seeing or referring anyone to Dr. Kleiff in the future. Dr. Kleiff should be aware of the blatant unprofessionalism of his staff as it is causing him to lose patients.*****
Chadelle Richardson: I got all four wisdom teeth pulled last year in June and it was a great experience and I healed great and when we talked about what my insurance covered it was clear. The day of the ''surgery" they told me I did not owe anything and I received the letter that was proof that my insurance covered everything a month later. Yet, a year later I get a letter saying I owe them and when I called to see what it was about, a woman answered the phone and said that they had people that messed up and was not billing people right at the time. The lady was very rude over the phone when I tried to tell her I had not received any previous letters and was confused when I get a letter from a billing agency telling me I owed Metropolitan a year later from the service date, and payment would need to be made immediately or there would be consequences. When she said she mailed a letter every month, I told her I attend college out of town and did not receive any letters in advance from them and she said because she did not receive a response in time that it was out of her hands and I'd just have to pay since it has been over a year since the service date and nothing could be changed now. She got snappy when I asked her if they ever call people when billing statements get messed up and she said no and only letters get sent. I feel that when mistakes like this happens, there need to be a better way to communicate when they receive no response through letters and now because they had people that made a mistake and I was away at college where I was unable to receive any previous letters, I now am forced to deal with a billing agency instead of Metropolitan. I would have appreciated a phone call when they saw their workers made a mistake and a payment was now needed, and a apology would have been great because of the mix up instead of a attitude from the women that I spoke to. Due to this it makes my experience with them be tarnished.

Rićhard Khalil: Dr. Ronald Stewart generally has bad bedside manners. On the surface, it appears as though he’s a nice man. He’ll smile, ask you how you are, he may even crack a joke, and, though I’m not suggesting he’s not a nice human being, as you visit him over time, you’ll come to experience his condescending and dismissive nature. Don’t dare ask him too many questions or question his work on your body. He typically talks over me, and simply doesn’t have the patience to allow me to complete a thought. The first time I had wisdom teeth removed, the whole process was smooth and painless. Though, he’ll tell you to call him if you need anything, when I did, he was unpleasant over the phone. Very rude. Perhaps he didn’t like the fact that I actually called him.The second time around, the teeth were more challenging to remove, by his own words, and in the process knicked multiple places in my mouth; my tongue, inside my jaw below the gum line as well as in the back of my mouth near the suture site. He also, after suturing up the site at the top of my jaw, he seemed, based on my observation, to instead of cutting any extra suture, run what was left through my gum, wrapped it around a nearby tooth and tie it off.Sounds painful? Well, for the next 7 days it was. It’s as though there was the pain from the tooth removal, then the pain of having extra suture running through my gums. Perhaps it was aggravating nerves. So, the pain from the nicks in my mouth and the pain from his work, I was in pain that was not managed with the drug he prescribed to me.Of course, he didn’t let me explain this to him, and instead blamed me, asserting that all my problems were as a result of me using Orajel mouthwash on those nicks, which then caused some burning. Which, as I described above, was not the case.Would I recommend seeing Dr. Stewart? Objectively speaking, I would not. But, you may get lucky and have a more pleasant and respectful experience.
Sarah Fosnow: Wish I could give 0 stars! RUN do not walk, but RUN to any other dentist/maxillofacial specialist you can find. My son was in a terrible car wreck in Flint, MI in 12/2022. His jaw broke in 3 places on impact. He ended up in Hurley Medical Center and was unfortunately assigned this guy. It took 2 days for him to bother to show up to even look at his jaw. Staff @ Hurley said it just is "that way," that he shows up in the night like a vampire and you don't know when so we just wait and wait. He finally showed up and was extremely rude, but I overlooked it and just thought he had poor bedside manner. He wired his jaw shut right before Christmas. After hospital release, this "doctor" and his staff are NOT available to answer phone calls or return voicemails. We made the 4.5 hour trip from Indianapolis as my son was in severe pain 4 weeks or so in. We were in absolute shock when we saw his office. Wood boarded up, broken glass everywhere, cob webs, & the dirtiest waiting room I have ever seen. He should not be touching ANYONE'S mouth in that building. He was extremely rude to my son and refused to help him in any way and just said to come back in two weeks and he would take them out. Well last week one of the wires busted, multiple phone calls were made and multiple voicemails were left. NO return calls. He literally ghosted. We had to find a new dentist/maxillofacial specialist near where we live and they couldn't even get a hold of his xrays/images. The doctor was extremely rude to them & wrote on a fax cover sheet to have "The doctor get their own x-rays." Also told a provider to "practice the way they practice and he will practice how he practices." I have never in my entire life met someone that is supposed to be a professional be that rude. I hope you never find yourself in a situation to have this man anywhere near you or your mouth! Go literally anywhere else!

Cliff West Jr.: Had my Wisdom Teeth removed here. I bit out the way, but Dr. Stewart and his staff were nothing but helpful during my procedure. My only gripe, again, is the location. Other then that, Dr.Stewart was professional and friendly, and I had a good experience here throughout removal and recovery. Good 4/5.
Raven Lemcke: If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I don’t even know where to begin with this place. It’s disgusting, dirty, and the staff and doctor are racist. They were extremely rude as soon as we walked in. I made an appointment for my toddler by request of her regular dentist because she needs to be sedated for extractions due to her age… when I called, I told them her age, and what she needed to be seen for, and they said no problem and scheduled the appointment. We waited for a few weeks for the appointment and pulling in I thought we had the wrong address because the place is not kept up, at all. There are broken windows, and boarded doors, and graffiti all over it. The lawn is also over grown. We went inside and it was completely filthy and the receptionist had her shirt unbuttoned to her navel… and she snapped at us right away and was extremely rude. My husband had to walk outside. I wanted to meet the doctor and give it a chance because my daughter was in pain. We get to the room and my daughter is looking at a plastic model of teeth and here comes the receptionist snatching it away from her, literally and starts yelling at me saying “what’s wrong with you white girl?! This is thousands of dollars! And stomped out saying “white people” shaking her head…. My daughter was just looking at it…. So that was totally uncalled for… the doctor then walked in and was extremely rude and condescending. Refused to even look at her and told me to go somewhere else… so I wasted gas driving all the way to Flint for nothing..I guess we’re the wrong skin color to be seen there… I really wish I would have read reviews before I even went to this place… I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone…. Ever…. Way too unsanitary to be a medical facility… and extremely unprofessional.

Amanda Trent: My daughter had an extra tooth, facing the wrong way, and encapsulated in a cyst. He performed her surgery and removed the extra tooth, and the cyst, and my daughter was in minimal pain and healed very nicely! He was very nice to us for out consultation, surgery, and follow up visit. I also took my son to him for having an extra tooth as well, and my son has disabilities. Dr. Stewart was very kind and understanding of him and was helpful as well. I would recommend him for sure. His staff is very nice as well.
Finley York: If I could give this man negative stars I would. He's rude. He doesn't listen to what you're saying. Refused to give me xrays after I told him I've been in unbearable pain for over a week...he wouldn't even check my insurance to see if I had xrays available (I did) and wouldn't even let me pay out of pocket for them. He made a decision that he wasn't going to help me as soon as he saw the color of my skin. He didn't even look in my mouth he just told me a lie and when I called him out he walked out of the room. He's a horrible human and just would never let him near my mouth!
monee poole: I am currently 9 months pregnant and ended up somehow getting an abscess from previous work that another dentist did.Dr. Stewart was able to safely take care of me without hurting me or my unborn child by removing the tooth. I truly recommend Dr. Stewart to anyone who wants to be taken care of professionally and will get the job done correctly the first go around!

Jp Thomas: Unfortunately on a weekend emergency visit I was left with no doctor to choose from except Ronald Stewart. After three excruciating days with my jaw wired shut I went in to see him. First thing I was told that I shouldnt be in pain that I needed surgery again. O then explain how I haven't gone to work because im in so much pain. He then gets very angry telling me I'm not disabled there is no reason I can't work that I will get fired. He is a doctor not my therapist I did not come to him.for his opinions on situations I came for medical treatment. The next thing I was told was he wished he put a plate in my jaw and not done the surgery the way he had done it without at this point I told him I that I'm not worried about my job I make very good money and can take off whenever I want. He was not pleased with this response at all. He canceled surgerybthen went into my mouth and preceded to tighten all of my wiring which should have been done correct days prior to that so that I didnt not have pain. My paperwork also said to put a warm cloth on my face for pain which i told h and he just yelled at me saying that's why om on pain and stress. Not the fact that I just had surgery on my jaw 3 days prior and none of the working was tight. This doctor is so far caring from his patients o highly recommend that no one use this man for there doctor. All recent reviews of this doctor are horrible and unsatisfactory.

Velesa Cole: Best Dentist Ever! Best Staff too
V.S.: Dr. Lucas' newer younger front office staff is very unprofessional. I was seen almost a year ago, I NEVER received one single bill nor a simple phone call from them! Apparently, they went straight to a collection agency and that is how I found out there was any issue. Mind you, they have my address and phone number. I am in the dental field and never have I ever seen such a thing. As far as I was concerned it had been taken care of. I will NEVER go back. I thought so highly of Dr. Lucas. How sad that they cannot do their job. How many patients will he have to lose?
Sarah Mackey: Dr. Lucas has been an amazing dentist for me and my family since he started his practice. Unfortunately, his office refuses to implement a mandatory mask policy for staff and patients at a time of the worst surge of COVID with the most contagious variant yet. As a nurse, as well as a parent of an immunocompromised heart transplant patient, it is APPALLING that any healthcare organization would think that is OK to not implement every measure we have to keep their staff, patients, and community safe. After 20+ years, we now have to find a new dentist, which is honestly heartbreaking.

And, here's the best part, after the Novocain wore off I had absolutely no pain or discomfort. He had a trainee there that was a real delight too.Ron

Dorothy Adams: I love my dentist Dr Calloway she is so gentle and so nice to talk you. She pulled two teeth and I didn’t feel anything. She was done and I didn’t realize she had even pulled them. I have recommended two other people to her.

Valerie Endicott: Family Dental Group was recommended to me. I live with periodontal disease and have for years. I have an autoimmune disease, Sjogrens, and dental care is paramount. The one thing that immediately made me understand the professionalism of this office was before my appointment as a new patient I received a call to review my dental insurance to ensure I understood what was and was not covered. This is HUGE in a environment where quality health care is sliding. In fact, the technician who took my x-rays went to the front desk to ensure my insurance covered the particular x-rays needed! I found the staff professional and friendly. The exams as a new patient were thorough and comfortable. I felt the team had my best interest at heart when I talked to them about my health and caring for my teeth. At the end of the day when it comes to great dental care one must determine if they are in experienced and professional hands and I feel I am at Family Dental Group.

Barbara Gratsch: It used to be a great dental office. The staff now is extremely rude & the manager was also rude to my cardiologist’s office when I needed clearance for blood thinners. The dentist was in the room with me for about two minutes and all she did was try to sell me a high priced implant or a crown instead of pulling the tooth like I wanted. When I tried to get another appointment again to have it pulled because half of it had now broken off I was told she couldn’t get me in for almost 3 weeks. I ended up finding a new dental office &they got me in the next day & that dentist told me the tooth was too badly broken to even put a crown on and pulled it. I’ll never recommend anyone to go to Family Dental on Miller Rd.

Bethany Hazard: I have been going to family dental for years. Angie, the lady that cleans my teeth does a wonderful job. Recently I had to have two teeth pulled. I was shocked because I go to the dentist as I should. Angie took more x rays and found the two bad teeth. She told me the last x rays did not turn out, (upside down) so my bad teeth were not caught. I was referred to an oral surgeon. When my tooth starting hurting terribly over the weekend, I called on Monday to get something for pain and antibiotics. The lady on the phone said she would call me back. When she never called, I called back again and talked to someone different and they said they called the scripts into a rite aid in the township. I drove to the pharmacy of their choice, and the pharmacist said they never called anything in. I was in terrible pain, and by that time this dentist office was closed. After years of going to this place I am very disappointed in my treatment. Moreover, they change dentists often and no dentists stay there long, which may be part of the problem. The manager did call me back, which I appreciated. However, she is training a new girl and but her in change of calling the pharmacy. I was in horrible pain and felt I was not taken seriously. Moreover, them not catching that I had two bad teeth sooner was disappointing and costed me a lot of $$ since the oral surgeon had to take more x rays. I wonder why they did not send my rays over to the oral surgeon? As a long time patient, I feel they do not want me as a patient, or that my business was valued. I have always paid my bill have have been nice to everyone there. For them to turn on me like this makes me feel like they knew they made a mistake in the x rays. Would not it be better to be upfront and honest, than to loose a patient?

Frank Justice: I had a very good experience. Dr Orzech was my surgeon. I had two implants put in that would hold my lower denture in place. Dr O went over the options I had, and helped me to choose only what was necessary. She has a great personality, and makes you feel more comfortable before the surgery. The surgery went well with no issues, and she prescribed adequate meds for pain afterwards. I just had my 3 month follow up, and everything looked fine. Dr O emphasized if there were any future issues, to contact her first thing. I appreciated that.If you have a need for an oral surgeon, I definitely recommend Premier, and Dr Orzech!
jordan orvis: I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed a few days ago and it went pretty smoothly. I haven’t had any pain, just a little soreness and stiffness. Mine were mostly surfaced so I know it wasn’t the most complicated situation, but Dr Orzech handled it with skill to spare. She was extremely knowledgeable and settled my nerves with humor and friendly conversation. I never felt like I bothered anyone with my questions or concerns. If my recovery stays on this track I’ll be back to normal very soon.

Everyone from staff that answered to phones to girls who bring you back even the billing staff and of course the Dr.Orzech was beyond awesome! I had to be seen for an emergency right before thanksgiving and they had to do surgery and they all were awesome and took awesome care of me! I highly recommend all Dr.Orzech and the whole office!!!
Anita Tessman: I had an implant that failed due to extreme infection which resulted in having to have a lot of oral surgery, and then sinus surgery. Dr. Orzech was/is amazing at what she does. I gave her a run for her money and she helped me out tremendously! She is thorough, nice, and funny :) If you want a great oral surgeon she is the one.

K: I had surgery done here and the staff was so kind and patient despite my anxiety. Dr. Hukill took time to answer all my questions, never made me feel rushed, and I felt she very sincerely cared about my surgical plan, and me as a person. I never felt like I was just another procedure on the day’s schedule. Sedation was a breeze- if you can get it, it’s worth it. I remember nothing and woke up feeling great. But, sorry to the staff for my unhinged ramblings :) Though they were super nice about my complete lack of filter!We called with a question a few hours later and again, super nice and reassuring.

Even after having surgery 3 weeks ago the office got my son in the same day when we had a concern. I highly recommend Dr. Orzech.
