Brian Carlton: I've leveraged their corporate electronics recycling program multiple times and will continue to do so. Great, reasonably-priced services.
Big Boss Crusher: They are requesting money to recycle electronics, I used to use Comprenew but never again.
Matt Murray: I've had hard drives disposed of and received the proper certifications of their disposal to meet HIPAA requirements. I've dropped off numerous computers and electronics and was only charged for something that had a cost associated with handling it. I have shopped all of their stores and found their inventories to be interesting and mostly fairly priced. I bought a refurbished computer for my mother in law that she used for like 5 or 6 years without complaint. My dad and I make trips out there regularly just to browse and see what they have. When I'm working on a project or looking for quality used stuff, I can usually find something just right. If I don't, I still have a pretty good time pouring through their shelves or browsing their ebay pages. It's definitely worth checking out if you need data destruction services, cables or adapters for older tech, or reliable used equipment. I've also seen audio and cinema equipment in there too. I can't speak to any of it but it might be worth a look if you are looking.
J C: Be forewarned and cautious! Very helpful in-store while spending money, Saving money IS NOT THE ANSWER TO BE STRESS-FREE! However, their refurbished products create painful UNEXPLAINABLE headaches. I am a grad student and tried using their computers and hard drives. I spent more time as did the IT at my university trying to get their hard drives to be compatible with Microsoft Word. I spent more time combating my computer than I have on homework. they have made my grad school experience a nightmare. The university IT has warned me about their products and get can not figure out why their material is as if it comes with viruses--which they blamed on me for going to particular websites.
Todd Schut: Google says that they're open from 10:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday it's 11:30 and there's not a soul here need to update your hours on the web come on people, I just drove a half hour to come here to get rid of my TV and now it is a wasted trip.

Bill Hess: This company, despite marketing itself as a Christian company, is as dirty as it gets. They have non-profit status, most of their help is volunteer with no or very little means to employment, and all of their products are donated. Here is the question: Where is all the money going? Answer: in the pockets of the owners. There are plenty of other companies that collect e-waste and actually do some good in the world. Comprenew is simply not one of them.
Chris Monroe: I have been here many times for many different parts and cords. They have saved me a lot of money. This is a great store when you need a part or two to finish a project. Such as, the other day I bought two printers without the power cord or connector... So I stopped in to buy two power cords and two printer cables. Only cost me a few bucks and saved me TONS from going to best buy. They have a great selection for parts though I tend to agree with the previous post person. I wish they offered partially finished computers, but at the same time it doesn't make sense to put a full computer together to test only the motherboard, then take it back apart to sell only the mother board and case. Seems like a lot of wasted time to me.I give this place 5 stars because there is no other place like it in GR (that I know of), they are very friendly and helpful, they have a lot of cheap random parts, and they have saved me lots of money. Anon Nymous: I was at first a customer, then awhile later an employee. But due to medical complications I became a customer again. This is the best place I have ever worked for excluding the military.They honestly do care about the customers and their own employee's. I have never been dissatisfied with the level of courtesy or service provided by User Easy. I can assure you that as a customer I have some pretty precise demands for my custom system and they have never failed to provide.I would just like to state that there are rare moments when despite the quality of service and diagnostic tech available, there are some hardware flaws that won't be detected. Because they do not occur often enough for the software to detect them during a standard test. This means the software has to know what to look for and rare flaws like that are routinely missed.It's the nature of the technology and as a result, some people are not going to be satisfied with the results. Always check your warranty status and consult the manufacturer first!

Greg Janes: Came in with laptop and replacement keyboard. Was told they could replace the keyboard for just the service cost ($95) and charged me prior to any service being done. When they opened the laptop they said they couldn't replace the keyboard because of its mounting and said it would cost me an additional ~$170 for them to order the entire assembly and complete the replacement. I am a college student and don't have that money laying around, so I thanked them but declined the new assembly.When I came to pick it up I was under the assumption that the $95 dollars previously paid was for the keyboard replacement and nicely asked if I could receive some form of refund or compensation for the lack of services. They got extremely verbally aggressive with me for even suggesting such a thing and when I brought up that no services were actually performed he quoted the laptop disassembly and reassembly as the $95 dollar cost, rather than the keyboard replacement which I payed for.I wasn't aware you could get paid to take apart a computer and then put it back together without performing a single repair. If that was the case I could be making millions. If you don't know that you can provide a service you shouldn't be charging people for it. I'm not paying for your science experiment, to open up and learn about a laptop. I paid for a keyboard to be replaced. If you didn't know how to replace the keyboard, you shouldn't have said you could and charged me in the first place.

Eric Sattler: My laptop would not start, so I called and they told me to bring it in. They opened it up, ran a couple of tests, and it worked, so they called me to pick it up. They charged me $95. It worked for the rest of that day, but the next day, it would not start. I called back, and then they told me to call HP and see if it's under warranty (which it is). Shame on me for not checking with HP first, but I wish they would have advised me to check the warranty before bringing it in and charging me for not fixing anything.

TheRoontoona9: You must be doing well. Our TV broke today and so I went to you to get a new one. Was looking at OLED but could not get any help and it was slow in there. I went up to the TV counter for help getting one, two employees walked up, both looked me in the eye then walked off. I guess I will support Amazon.
Mark B: What strikes me most about Best Buy is their open air floor plan. Well placed department signs lead you to where you need to be, meandering through the other areas on your way. Retail genius. I was after a 90 degree phone charger and although they did not have one in stock I now know most of what else they do have. It's a techno destination.

Good selection of everything including cameras! Most Best Buy’s lack in the camera section and, while this wasn’t the biggest display, it was certainly better than most.

I thought that the info could be retrieved without the screen, but ATT didn't tell me that until after I purchased a new phone. I had to get it repaired and a lovely person at the ATT store sent me to Affordable iStore to get the phone repaired. As I had already purchased a new phone, Affordable iStore offered the option to get the phone working so could get the backup made to save me some money which was really nice. In the end I ended up getting the screen repaired and a new battery installed as I can use it as another Apple device. I was very pleased with my service and would recommend if you are looking for a refurbished phone, mac or other Apple device or just need a device repaired.

John Zwarensteyn: I stopped off at the store on Lake Michigan Drive NW to check out the health of both my MacBook Pro and iPad and to dispose of some outdated equipment. I was able to dispose of the items and get both the laptop and iPad checked out on the spot. Battery life was OK on both, and we discussed expectations of future Apple updates and support. After discussing this and getting a quote, I decided to "bite the bullet" and change/add a new solid state hard drive on the Macbook Pro as "future proofing protection." Staff members were knowledgeable and friendly, and I found the recommendations to be very upfront and reasonable. I would recommend Affordable iStore for all questions, concerns and service related issues.
