Josh Schaeffer: Went in and looked around. Pretty good size Best Buy! Our first time we came they were unfortunately closed for a remodel but I am glad to have gone back and checked it out! Good selection of everything including cameras! Most Best Buy’s lack in the camera section and, while this wasn’t the biggest display, it was certainly better than most.
Mac Wolf: very limited selection on basic items. if you want a tv or appliances that’s fine here but don’t come looking for much else. this store looks really nice inside but that’s about it

Nancy Eardley: I want to highly recommend Comprenew. I had a bad fan on a relatively new Dell laptop (diagnosed by Best Buy & an error message). I first took it to uBreakiFix who had gotten good reviews for computer repair- who first said a fan repair would run $100-$200, & then after listening, said the noise the fan was making indicated a damaged housing & couldn’t be repaired so I would just need to buy a new PC. Decided to get a second opinion at Comprenew. I left the laptop. Got a call later that afternoon that it was definitely fixable & they would order the part. Got another call two business days later that the laptop was fixed! And there was no damage to the housing at all - so totally misdiagnosed by UBreakIFix. Total cost for the reply? $30. Thanks to Joel at Comprenew!!!

Hung Le: I don't shop here often anymore. A few years ago, they had a nice rotating selecting of interesting old electronics and affordable used laptops. In the recent years, prices have been so marked up it's better to buy new equipment. They charge double or more for used vs what you can buy new. For a nonprofit org, it sure doesn't seem that way - I think management can do much better. They would charge people for "recycling" old tube tv's, but then instead of recycling, the tv would be put on the sales floor for $200plus - double dipping. Don't charge people a recycling fee if you just end up selling it. The only good thing is the people working there on the sales floor are nice and helpful, but shopping-wise it's better to look elsewhere unless they make some major changes.
Daniel Crawford: Don’t come here expecting to save money.Found a set of desktop speakers priced at $41. Looked them up on Amazon. They’re selling brand new for $29.99. When I brought it to the counter they said they’d match the online price but go no lower. They claimed it was new. If that’s what I wanted to pay I wouldn’t have even come, i’d just order it online.
Sidney Newton: One of the good digital recycling and second hand electronics storefronts in the area. It is pretty good for the casual computer enthusiast and has a lot of hardware that can be bought for cheap. Sadly their current selection of used data center equipment (server racks, switches, rackmount data center equipment, etc.) is pretty lackluster to non-existent compared to years ago. So HomeLab builders will be a bit sad to not find some good treasure there (which has been my case with my recent visit). Still a good store to go to for second hand electronics nonetheless.

Babette Burleigh: We purchased a suite of appliances from Bekins for our newly built home. There were some manufacturing delays, but the Bekins staff kept us informed, and ironically the construction delays were such that all of our appliances came in before they could be installed. The installation team was outstanding: respectful, informative, and clearly skilled.Mike Smith was great in helping to chose our appliances and worked closely with our kitchen designer. Sienna Morris and others at Bekins kept us well informed of shipping times and delivery/installation options.Bekins is a class act.
Heidi Hackbarth: I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience with Bekins. The salesperson, Bill, and his partner, Johanna, never made us feel rushed while picking out a dishwasher. They truly took the time to explain the process and help us find one that fit our needs. Their in-house installation team was also excellent; they were quick, clean and friendly. I would be more than happy to give Bekins my business for all future appliance purchases.

She was VERY impressive to work with. Additionally, the delivery and installation team from Bekins was unmatched!! The BEST we’ve ever had.Thank you to the entire Bekins team. Craig Welton: Erika our Sales Rep was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She explained the laundry machine I was interested in. She assured us that the Installers were excellent. We bought the machine and were so happy with our Installers, Jeremy, Curt and Cody, on Feb 14 2023. They arrived at the scheduled time. Introduced themselves, and explained what they were to do. They took the old machine away with no noise or scratches to walls. They called us into Laundry Room shortly thereafter. They explained options on the machine, told us they fixed the water hose so it wouldn't leak or let loose. We would recommend Bekins Inc to all of our family and friends.

Richard Hill: We had never heard of Bekins. But we were shopping for a Bosch dishwasher and found them listed on the Bosch website. The showroom was amazing, and Erika was very helpful. We had planned on getting the least expensive 100 series but after she explained the differences, we chose a 300 series dishwasher. They installed it a couple days later and their guys did a great job. And the Bosch dishwasher is amazing. Since we are just two people, we don’t run a dishwasher every day. With our old dishwasher we had to rinse dishes before loading or the food would dry on and not come clean. We were told not the rinse the dishes with this Bosch yet they come out perfectly clean even on the second or third day.

Kelli Bond: I can’t say enough good things about Bekins-they know their appliances. All of their appliances work in the store, all of their installers, and technicians work for Bekins, and they have a one hour window in which your appliance will be delivered!! Crazy right? You get comparable prices from other vendors (because they check them nightly). Let’s not forget the thank you card and flower you get the day of delivery. Oh and one more important thing to consider-we had our dishwasher in a week, a week!! Box stores anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks-and they didn’t know anything about their appliances that we couldn’t look up.

The crew (Curtis and Jason) who installed our dishwasher were happy to help answer any questions we had and also helped us consider additional upgrades we could do for our other kitchen appliances down the line.Would recommend and purchase through Bekins again!

We were facing a long holiday weekend that we had planned to spend watching our favorite Christmas shows—especially since a once-in-a-generation blizzard was heading towards Michigan, and we knew we’d be hunkered in for the duration.To make a long story short, we called Bekins on Thursday, December 22. Avery started taking care of us immediately and did whatever she could to move the process along. Johanna and Corey worked together to find us the exact TV we needed. We trusted their judgement and didn’t even look at options. We were told to expect the TV early afternoon on the 23rd, weather permitting.Barely a half hour after we left the store, Avery called and said she could get the TV to us that afternoon. (Sometimes living in the same town as the warehouse has its advantages!) Mitch came out, set us up, and headed back out into the snow.They all scrambled to help, and we sincerely appreciate it—especially when we learned that Bekins was doing the absolutely right thing by closing its stores and service that very evening so employees could be safely home until Monday, December 26. At one point, my husband told Avery she saved our marriage!Literally for decades we have purchased every appliance, sound system, and TV from Bekins because their service is exemplary. We will continue to do so.

Micki Vankampen: After singing the praises of Comprenew for the last 2+ years, I just went from 5 stars to 1 star in a 5 minute visit.I stopped at the Plainfield location intending to have the annual system check done that is included in the extended warranty. An obnoxious tech informed me the extended warranty had expired. When I said I had never been contacted to renew, his astounding reply was that they don't have time to contact customers to renew extended warranties. He said someone would have to do it daily (even a cyber dummy like me knows how to schedule an email release!) and they are very busy (not another person in the place)I am more disappointed by the attitude than the fact the warranty expired. I guess I expected him to at least ask me what, if any, problems I was having and suggest an estimate or some alternative to having me just walk out in a very unhappy state.When I shop for a new computer, Comprenew will not be at the top of my list.About a month after my 1 star review, Comprenew manager Holger Kuester contacted me to try and resolve the issue. He graciously invited me to take my laptop in for a check up and if there were no problems there would be no charge.The service was done in one day with no issues found. The employees were very pleasant and knowledgeable.I am back to being a satisfied customer.

Braden Terpstra: I love this place!!! I was looking for a good laptop for video editing and I would drop by every once in a while to see what they had in stock. Every time I was helped by a friendly staff member and was well taken care of. Today, I finally found the laptop I was looking for. I was unable to buy it right away in the morning so I ended up having it placed on hold. I was helped by a very friendly employee named James and he helped me get all set up. Through two visits to Comprenew and multiple phone calls, I was able to purchase exactly what I was looking for. Since I purchased a Solid State Drive from Comprenew, James was kind enough to install it for me and also reload Windows 10 onto it. I will recommend this store to all my friends and hopefully my laptop will last me well into the future!

Walked in without a scheduled appointment and within 15 minutes Ken was able to find/print an old receipt/damage report, process an AppleCare claim for a phone case, and help me with the purchase of a new air tag and key chain. Most efficient trip I have ever had to the store. Hire more people like Ken 👌🏻

Dan Dannenberg: Super!!!! Stopped in with my friend so she could get her phone looked at and fixed and they were awesome!!! They were really friendly smart and nice and they knew what they were doing!!! It was a a little bit of a wait but they were VERY BUSY. While we waited we took a look around at the selection of phones and accessories that they had and it was outstanding!!! Lots and lots and the inventory that was available was amazing!!
RJ Langen: At first when I came in for them to fix my keyboard they broke it even more. But after setting up an appointment to fully be fix my keyboard for over $400 they were able to fix it for free. So while I'm happy that they in the end fixed my keyboard it was at the cost of emotional stress.

Mya Fassbender: Bought a phone 2 months ago. Here at the store as I type this and they say it's crashing doesn't work and I need a new phone. They refuse to fix this one even though I have insurance. The lady trying and failing to help me refuses to answer my questions and keeps pushing I purchase a new phone. These are junk. These people are solely salespeople. They're like used car salesman. It's sad. I would not recommend these junk products or getting help from these uneducated people who know nothing about technology and literally only want me to purchase a phone. Sales sales sales. No help. Worthless. I now have a $1200 paperweight.

Kevin Taylor: Went in looking for a recliner on a Saturday. We found one we liked and got rushed through the transaction. We were told we could pick it up the following week on Friday, which was fine.The day of comes, we borrowed a friends truck for the day only to be told that it wasn't on the shipment that came in. We had to tell our friend that we actually didn't need the truck anymore and returned it.The sales guy, Mike, said he could get us free delivery right to our house the following Monday. Not great, but I'll take free delivery. Mike tells us we will receive an email before 7AM on Monday telling us a four hour window in which it will be delivered.I took time off work today, the Monday they said it will be delivered. 7AM comes and goes with no contact from ABC about it. They let us know at 7:40 that the recliner is on back order. Got a call around 9:30 from the warehouse guy that it's not in stock and would be hearing from Mike around 10:30. Mike called and told us that the warehouse numbers were wrong and the chair was not in stock and we could wait for another or get a refund. I opted for the latter.- How did the warehouse miscount?- Why wasn't it confirmed when they missed that Friday?- Why was I promised free delivery when it didn't even show up?Absolutely horrible service.

Elizabeth Schasser: We found a gas range we wanted and got it paid for and such. They told us they would deliver, install/hook up, and haul away the old one. We waited several weeks for it but knew with Coronavirus shipping and such would be unreliable. The warehouse finally got the range and we set up a delivery time. Even though we were informed they would install/hook up when we bought it, the call to set up delivery changed and they would not install/hook up. Quite disappointed in that as it was a big reason we purchased in the first place. Probably why they didn't "charge" us for it when we agreed to purchase.

Leo: Spent 1950.00 on a washer n dryer, promised working on delivery, promised Friday delivery, Friday canceled and got them a week later.. delivery guys called 15 min out and won't wait, email stated 45 min call ahead of time.. finally delivered but did not hook them up as promised, garbage service, after we paid for 2 delivery fees for 1 delivery.. what a joke. If I would have known I wouldn't have paid the delivery and just grabbed them myself and did a self install.. or went with a different company all together, as prices was the same for the same machines at 3 other stores I checked.Also to top that off the original chosen set was a couple months out.. couldn't have mentioned that before we started looking at them. Yeah non returning here.
