Matthew Asselin: Beautiful view, overlooks Grand Rapids and you can see the sun set pretty well!
Miguel Vega: Parking lot closed so hard to find a place to park
Kathy Sue: There not much look at and I also came from another city and it wasn't appealing.
Josiah Schrotenboer: One of the best views of Grand Rapids. I love the park improvements over the past few years.
Karla Cadotte: Beautiful 😍
Cort Nabozny: Small park but well maintained and great views of uptown GR and Belknap baseball fields. Large paved hills are great for incline workouts.Dog-friendliness: Dogs must be on leash, pet waste bags and disposal stationPicnic area: Nice grass with great views and waste receptacles, close to parking. Hillside is perfect for viewing events at Belknap Park.
john krueger: Great views of the city, Grand River and the sunset to the west. Parking is only on the street and can be hard to come by.Have heard that the park is not the safest later at night from those that live in town.
Isaac Sainz: Good view
Tabetha Gable: Loved the new swings! Spectacular view as usual
Mark Burns: Not a big fan of the city closing off the parking lot but I guess they didn't have much of a choice
Greg Wickstrom: Good view over looking part of downtown GR
Stevie Smith: Lookout Park is one of the best views in Grand Rapids! Can see most of the city skyline year-round.
Bill Cleveland: Lookout park has great views of Grand Rapids. Good to go at a low demand time due to scarce parking. Stairs on the south side going down to the bottom of the hill sufficiently decrepit that it is barricaded off. Short walks on top of hill with longer walks possible at the bottom of the hill. Nice ball fields and the hill leading down to them shows great potential for sledding.
Bryon Burnett: I love the views. Some say that it's not a good place to be after dark but I am not intimidated by some reviews and I have never had any problems here
Ryan Yates: Beautiful scenery
Ms. Kristy Katcha: Lookout park is small but cute, over looks the zoo and John Ball park. There is handicap parking, trails, Pavillion, and playground.
J. McCormick: This is a way understated Park in GR that is always gorgeous, but especially at sunset. Lots of folks bring blankets, picnics, pups - always a good experience lots of neighbors
Joshua McAlpine: Favorite view. Favorite sledding hill. Great hill for running up

Ken-O-Sha Park: what do users think?
Aleigha McKinley: I loved this trail. Very easy walk since most of it is paved. But there’s plenty of trails that branch of into dirt paths if that’s what you prefer. We did pass a few people walking their dogs or on their bikes, but for the most part it’s peaceful and quiet, and the scenery is amazing.
Grant DuBridge: Great walking path along Plaster Creek. Wildlife surrounding you.
Nick W: Plenty of parking, the school is there for overflow.Parking lot and most of the trails are decently maintained, but there are a good amount of unhoused people living off the trail and it appears county workers struggle to keep up.
Kate Bek: This place has been a quiet, beautiful gem since I was a kid. Trailhead parking is marked off Kalamazoo Ave. - the lot is at the elementary school. Dogs are permitted but must be leashed. There’s a port-a-potty at the trailhead. Not all trails are accessible by wheelchair, but you can park and go a good distance on the main, paved trail.
Jonathan Shelley: This is my favorite walking trail in Grand Rapids. Wide, paved path as well as countless trails through the trees. Interesting installations and signs.
Bill Cleveland: A gem of Grand Rapids. So wonderful that we have a park that we can visit and amble along the banks of a creek and enjoy the trees and wildlife. Visiting in the winter after a thaw and then subsequent hard freezes, the trails were a bit icy just like the sidewalks around my home.
Zach Harris: Peaceful
Steve Johnson: Nice little park with trails and a stream. One illegal camper/homeless shack really ruined it, otherwise would be 3 or 4 stars.
carl kridler: My daughter loves the swings. And playing with the other children.
John R: Be careful!
Jeremiah Cruz: Fresh air
CodyK: A decent little park with a couple of trails sprouting off the main trail. The creek running through it is peaceful.
Senada Delic: Walking trails are amazing!
clear as water: Really pretty 🌟🌟🌟
Aaron Lehrman: A little awkward to find and park, but great trail.
Darla Spoors: It was a beautiful and refreshing walk.
Jessica Fields: Well maintained walking path. Very pretty
Bhavani Ananthan: Love this park.. Bigger play area for kids, basketball 🏀 court, and a nice walking trails into the woods.. Fall season visit is best
Zach Morrison: Great gem in the middle of the city. Nice place to escape to nature.Playground: At school next to parkRestrooms: Outhouse styleDog-friendliness: Great place to walk dogs. Has doggie bags available.
Samuel Mayes: awesome park!
High Class Genetics: Large wooded park good for taking your dog. Lots of mushrooms. Creeks and little streams . Also an abundance of deer

Ball Perkins Park: what do users think?
Tierney Pierce: Restoration of our wetlands is vital to our community! This park shows us a sneak peek into what was a much more vast wetland that is now small and surrounded by homes and a apartment complex. It's a beautiful park and a really good trail. We definitely need to see more wetlands being restored like this.
Ann Hackney: Nice short quiet walk
Michael Noah: Good
Hannah M: Nice little trail though the woods. Very muddy in the spring!
Jo Wilcox: Beautiful
Shelby Denhof: Pros: good for birdwatching and there generally aren’t a lot of people here; it’s a pleasant walk in the woods with clearing defined trailsCons: it’s a very short walking trail and I’m sure visitors wish it was longer
Juliea Doulia: Great spot to go for a walk!!
Mark Boehler: Great trail beautiful place to spend my lunch birdwatching
Ron Houtman: A great place to take a walk and see where all the city deer hang out.
Amelia Adkins: I love this park. It's in a great place and I have seen some amazing things on this trail from deer, ducks, black squirrels, a fox, etc. I am always on this trail to run it. It's not a far course but it work. I love the pond It's a nice site everytime. Also the community garden is so cute and you will always find someone working hard in it.
Feryal Alayont: Nice park that has been "preserved as a natural area" according to the city description. There is a neat, mostly natural trail that cuts through the park from Ball to Perkins. Only a small bit is paved. In the east-west direction, it is 0.55 mile long. There's a 0.09 mile stretch that extends to the wetland overlook. There are three benches along the trail, and two at the overlook. At the Perkins end of the trail, there is also a community garden. There are quite a few parking spots but pretty much all are marked as "gardener parking only". I didn't see any marked spots for park visitors.
Dave Meekhof: This is a great walk for the family & dogs through a nice wooded area. There is a nice deck overlook of a pond. Also there's an awesome community garden.
Rick Rees: Used the hiking trails not the ball park. The trails were fantastic and dog friendly with a leash of course. A vere nice find. Almost all board walk. Will go back there again.
Dee Dee: A beautiful little trail in the city. There were a dozen Great Egrets in the little wetland and several deer along the trail.
Robert Fugate: Nice half mile walk down to the wetlands and saw a handful of deer
Ray Garnett: This small park is nice and the trails lead through a cozy wooded area. It also has a community garden out front. Parking is limited or it would have received 5:stars
Beverly Mapes: Nice easy trail. Quiet. Saw a deer that wasn't very fearful and a duck with several ducklings.
Cedric Tenorio: Nice place
Stacie Jones: Great trail through the woods.
Rebecca T.: Really beautiful park. It feels like you are in the middle of a forest even though you are actually right in the city. I went geocaching here and there were 5 stops to make.
Ken Katerberg: The park has a nice crushed stone trail and a restful area to look out over a pond on the property.

I’ve been a few times to craft shows, art workshops and of course, got to meet some very cute critters! They have HUGE nature trails. Not a huge parking lot so on busy days, parking can be tough.
Sandi White: A nice place to go. There are rescued animals that you can see very closely and lots of nature trails to roam. Most of the trails off the main one were flooded or muddy because we had rain a few days in a row.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $1–5 …More
Damir “Grof” Kesar: Went with my daughters 3rd grade class as a chaperone and I have to say it had been a decade or longer since I went there last time and the place is much improved and very educational for kids and adults. Their guides ended up getting sick the night before and I thought that would make the tour less fun (as the parents had to act as guides) but no it was still easy to navigate and full of both nature and history that remains relevant.
BrendA Kerwin: Had an enjoyable time walking the trails. So much to explore.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More

Huff Park: what do users think?
Sarah: Love this Park!
Alexis Bates: This is a very unique park in the city. It's actually in a wetland and there's a lot of boardwalk through it. It's also dog friendly, which is really fun for the pup. Downside to that is that there are a lot of people that don't clean up after their dog, even though there are bags provided.Watch your step!
Arryn Uhlenbrauck: Lovely trail over the wetlands. Went to my niece’s baseball at the diamonds and found a wonderful trail around the park. Who knew such a lovely trail was right near Creston. This park was a hidden gem, and while we saw lots of others. It wasn’t overly crowded. Also, we saw deer and bird watchers.
Joshua Allen: Huff park is a great family park with okay equipment. Plenty of hall fields for getting the family involved in sports. There are seasonal bathrooms and a seasonal concession stand. Despite all the business, you can escape on the walk way through the low lying wet land. Very beautiful and serene. Great way to escape in a busy city.

Mr Johnson: Love taking photos here while walking the doggos also me and a friend have put out suet cakes for birds and apples for the deer everyone loves seeing the wildlife here thrive and neander around the area we try to help keep things nice for nature and the dogs love the woodland path ate the beginning of the paths if you start away from the baseball diamonds and theres many other paths a small secret to discover .
Gary Kuyper: Nice spot to walk and great place for the grandkids to play!

Fun playgrounds and well maintained sports fields.Playground: Definitely fun for younger kids.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash.
