Love Across America: I had a dental emergency and they were able to fit me in right away. Dr M was honest, gentle, and professional. He pulled the tooth with no problem. Staff was great also. I highly recommend this place.

Paige Wood: Find somewhere else if possible. They are booked months out, and I needed a referral to get my wisdom teeth out at u of m. U of m called me the night before my appointment saying they never got my X-rays from cherry st. Thought that was weird because I called cherry st the previous week and the lady at the desk said the X-rays would be sent over. I called cherry st back and they said I needed a ROI signed first. That would have been nice to know when I called the first time last week, and not the date of my appointment I’ve been waiting for 3 months now. Lack of communication. Also, was a fight to even get on the phone with them. I will be finding a different dentist.
Kristi Balcom: I am not one to be excited to see the dentist and suffer from anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Today I met Dr Boncher needing to have a tooth extracted and she was FANTASTIC! By far one of the sweetest and most encouraging dentists I’ve encountered. I purposely avoid the dentist because I haven’t found one I have been happy to go see and trust, but she is one I will happily return to and hopefully get all my dental health back on track!

Trish Gruswitz: 1.5 hours on hold to be told that there is not a single appointment available in the next four months, and they can’t schedule beyond that. I don’t know what they can do about the no appointments problem, though I’m sure they can do something, same for the hold time. But not permitting any scheduling at all even five months out is unreasonable. No cancellation list. And they had no recommendations on what to do now even though I kept asking questions. Just, can’t help you, bye.
Faith Andree: The Dr. are wonderful but the people that answer the phones are the rudest people. I called to see if they could send a referral to get my wisdom teeth out to U of M and they kept telling me they had already sent one. When I got a phone call from U of M saying they hadn’t received it I called back. And all I asked was do you guys use this website and the lady was like “we know what website to use” she wouldn’t even answer my question. Then I finally told her she doesn’t have to be rude and she said “I have already told you three time that we know what website to use I don’t think you are understanding”. I feel like it was logical of me to clarify that they went through the website since U of M made it very clear that I need to make sure. How am I suppose to know if every dental uses the same link. She didn’t need to make me feel stupid.

Kennedy Johnston: Horrible service, i would give 0 stars if possible. I scheduled my appointment in September, wasn’t able to be seen until mid November (no big deal) then comes the day before my appointment, I was sent the wrong address so obviously I was a couple minutes late. My appointment was scheduled at 8 I finally arrived to the CORRECT address at 8:08. After I filled out the required paperwork (no big deal, it’s required) it was then 8:30, well now I’m told it’s too late for me to be seen. If they cannot accommodate for sending patients wrong addresses, I don’t even want to know how the actual service is. Now I have to wait until January, another month and a half to be seen, who knows if I’ll come if this is how I’ll be treated.

Brendyn White: I went in for a emergency tooth extraction and there was no way it could have been considered a simple extraction and they sent me out without anything to help with the pain and didnt suture me up like my insurance was under the impression that was part of the extraction process. OinkkBuck BuGuck (Kash): I wouldn’t recommend anyone ever go to this place.The Dentist an assistant that seen me showed no professionalism or compassion at all.I was treated like I was less than human from start to finish.I was ridiculed in front of my son and every one else who were in the office.All my teeth are beyond help as far as far as them doing work on them.I had my insurance charged for any an everything they could charge it for with out questions.The assistant did not want to do the cleaning an it showed when she started poking an prodding as hard as she could.It hurt so bad an she kept digging as hard as she could. It was to the point where I had to make her stop. Then she called in the dentist an the Dentist proceeded to ridicule me an tell me how bad my teeth were all I can hear her yelling is decay decay decay and she is yelling this so loud that it’s causing a scene in the back.I never received a full cleaning of the top or bottom.Not because I didn’t go but because they could not show compassion .Do not go here ever.They will judge you before they do the work.They also tried to schedule me to have teeth cleaned that were beyond repair.I might have the worst mouth they ever dealt with I will not argue that but no matter what my mouth looked like I was coming here to start the process an I did not get any help from the dentist who seen me she actually set me back in the process because I had to hype myself up to go these only to be ridiculed.
Hey Sandra: If I can give no stars I would. Worst service I ever experienced. They are very unprofessional and that male Dentist is incompetent. For your health and safety. Please seek dental assistance elsewhere. Dentist never even supplied me antibiotics after pulling my teeth out. I ended up in the emergency room. And was given the necessary after care at spectrum health emergency. When I complained about their incompetence. The dentist make excuses to not treat me again, by lying saying that I had no insurance. Obviously that was a lie. I have Medicaid and Medicare. Been going there longer then he worked there. He even tried to reach at me to remove me as I was showing proof of my insurance. I had to tell him to not touch me. I canceled all future appointments. And sought future dental care with a more professional competent and experienced medical office.

Charlie Bleisch: Cherry Health is terrible. Their wait time for new patients is months. I waited for 3 months for my first appointment, just for them to cancel it a week before and reschedule for a couple months later. I found a new place to go. Similar things have happened to other people I know who go there. They cancelled my fiancee's prescription because they thought she had cancelled an appointment, but it was the clinic who cancelled the appointment. On another ocassion my fiancee was waiting to be seen and they actually forgot she was there... for over an hour. Their records are terrible, they're poorly staffed, and they don't care about their patients.I highly recommend you look elsewhere for a clinic that actually makes an effort to take care of its patients.

They were pretty busy (as I expected) I watched the entirety of Kung-fu Panda in the lobby waiting to be squeezed in 😅Overall they were very nice and did a great job of getting that nasty tooth out! I'm so grateful, and will definitely be back as a regular patient!

I just paid an exam 2 weeks ago at another office and just had a root canal last week Friday. I know what I need done. I'm not going to pay twice just for you to tell me what I already know. That's ridiculous! Go somewhere else!

I’ve Had questions about my bill and the office manager refuses to call me to discuss. They are rude and disparaging to clients within earshot of others. I hate dealing with the front office staff.
Bruce Steffke: Called right after they opened cause I cracked a tooth and they were able to get me in same day even as a new patient.When I called I made sure to let them know that I really wanted the tooth pulled the same day. I was insured that it would be. When I arrived they did the normal X-rays and all. Then I’m told I’d have to make an appointment to have it pulled. I told them I’m not leaving the chair till the tooth is pulled. They finally agreed to pull it. All the while they are putting this ridiculous plan for my mouth and ask for a deposit. Claiming I need this $500 toothbrush and all this other stuff. I never agreed to this and didn’t not sign to receive any of this. Next thing I know my Care credit card is maxed out and they are asking for more money.I then contacted BBB and filed a complaint. BBB did their part and Aspen finally issued a refund to the Care credit card. Once I let the BBB know they have made good on everything, Aspen Dental then sends me another bill for $120.STAY FAR AWAY FROM ASPEN DENTAL!!!

Geramie Malone: DO. NOT. GO. HERE.I had severe pain in a tooth that I originally mistook for TMJ because the pain was in my jaw, neck, head, and sinus cavity as well. I called Aspen dental during business hours because the pain was unbearable and I was not able to eat or drink anything for several hours. They were able to get me in the next morning which was amazing.The pain became worse in the evening and got to a point where I could barely talk or swallow. My husband called the emergency line and they said we would get a call right away from an on call Dr. We still have not received that call. By the morning I had not slept, eaten, drank anything in 24 hours. I called the answering service again to ask why I had not received a call and was told that happens a lot.I arrived for my appt 15 minutes prior and was not even greeted or spoken to at all until 15 minutes past my appt time. The tech was amazing with my X-rays as I sobbed in pain and I really appreciated her understanding. I cannot say the same for Dr Morgan. Dr Morgan said there was a clear problem with my tooth and referred me for a root canal. Aspens website says they do emergency services including root canals but they do not in fact do emergency root canals. They don’t even call you back if you call the emergency line, imagine your child has an emergency and they don’t call you back? Like why even offer an emergency line at all.I had never had a root canal or experienced dental pain like this so I was frustrated that I would have to wait longer for pain relief and I asked if they could do anything to help me with the pain in the meantime. He refused telling me to use ice and ibuprofen which I had already told him I was using to no avail. I told him I was physically feeling sick from the pain and how I had not been able to eat and was basically told that he was sorry to hear that and there was nothing he could do. Through the entire appt he did not take me seriously at all. He was cold and completely lacked any kind of bedside manner. He also refused to give me antibiotic as he did not see any swelling which meant to him that I had no infection.I was able to get to the referred place for a root canal within a few more agonizing hours. And it’s thankful I did because the Dr there discovered I had a raging abscessed infection as well as a root and or nerve that was mostly dead at this point which he said would have accounted for my unbelievable pain. He treated me with care and respect, something Dr Morgan severely lacked.When I called to make a formal complaint to Aspen Corporate I was told that my complaint would be taken seriously and I would hear back from the regional manager which… you guessed it, I did not. Which just goes to show how little this place cares for the people they treat or don’t treat at all as was my case.I have cancelled future appts and will be cancelling my children’s appts and will never ever set foot in this place again and I would advise you to do the same. Do not go here. They were absolutely negligible and they know they were but do not care at all.

amoney goodmoney: Went in for some tooth extractions, I was supposed to have some bottom wisdom teeth. Dr Angie started pushing it up and trying to extract it. Couldn’t pull it fully and recommended I see a surgeon but I can’t see him til the 29th a full month and had to pay more to schedule that out. Top teeth extractions went fine

I thought it was cool that there are TVs in the rooms, so I could watch a bit of HGTV during the apt. I also loved that Bri took the time to explain everything she was doing and showed me what everything meant. I didn't feel one ounce of judgement from anyone there, which is something that has made me hate going to the dentist in the past. I also wanted to say that I was impressed with the billing person, because they were super detailed about what my insurance was supposed to cover and made sure what I was being charged made sense. Abigail Mater: Just speaking from my initial appointment, I would recommend Great Lakes Dental! They had friendly reception. My hygienist Katie was very thorough to patiently explain every step she took and ask if I was comfortable along the way. More informative with X-rays and imaging than I remember my previous dentist being, which was great. She looked up my insurance and gave me a $ amount for fluoride treatment before offering it. I really appreciate the way I was treated during my visit and I trust their team to provide great care!

The people who work here are absoolutely fantastic at their jobs and even more, they are fantastic human beings who care about you! I dont exactly know why i chose to come to you guys, but God led me that way and He didnt disappoint. Thank you soo much for everything youve done for me, and i look forward to being a patient and having my son there as a patient for years to come! From the moment you enter the lobby the receptionist are always very welcoming, it’s not very often I leave google reviews but Great Lakes Dental provides extraordinarily great services and free filling replacements they are with extreme haste when it comes to scheduling also! Very time sensitive which is ideal. Overall I’d rate em 5 stars from my experiences also MASSIVE shot out to dental hygienist Rachel very professional advice and impeccable detail while taking care of her patients she gets an A+ in my books!!!
Hunter Humphreys: Good insurance to them means $$$. They'll try to ring you dry, fake cavities, expensive, unnecessary packages that they expect you to make payments on, ($10,000+) after just asking for a cleaning. Be weary if you decide to do business there, which I would not ever again.
Madie Hillen: This was an amazing dentist office! I recently decided to come here after a previous dentist told me I needed a crown and a lot of fillings(I've never needed major dental work). Going with my gut I came here at the recommendation of my boss. I can't recommend them enough! Not only do I NOT need a crown but the dentist was phenomenal! I tend to get incredibly anxious at the dentist, they now make me feel like I don't need to fear going to the dentist. Thank you guys for a great job!

Pop Top: These people are scammers, always trying to upsell you on something. They pretend to not know if the extras are covered by insurance and then when you check out there's an extra $50 for this and 120 for that and then they're less than honest about your deductible and copays. Deception runs through this place like a virus.

Emma Freybler: Absolutely love everyone here! They are very knowledgeable and caring! My daughter is shy around people and her hygienist Katie did an amazing job at getting her to open her mouth and clean her teeth and answered all my concerns! I HIGHLY recommend this dental office!
Sue Potter: So incredibly disappointed in this business, they did an implant for me several years ago. I left the practice when they begin charging an extra $20 per person per visit for protective gear during COVID. I recently had some work done at the Center for Oral Surgery and they informed me that the implant was not done correctly and was not fully seated. They recommended that I go back to the office that did it as these are usually warrantied. Great Lakes Dental refused to help because I was not a current patient and therefore their poor work was no longer their issue.

Sarah Martinez: My daughter had a traumatizing experience here. She came in to get a tooth pulled and they didn’t numb her up so she felt the whole entire extraction. And then all the doctors acted like it really didn’t matter that my daughter was still feeling pain then later I left to sit in the waiting room and wait for my other daughter to get finished in the dentist and I explain to a customer that Cherry Street has all bad reviews and the receptionist of course had something to say she always acts like she’s very irritated every single time we come in here as well as another review of her on this page has been said the same things please consider not coming to this place because They don’t care about my daughters pain I’m literally about to be going to a hospital to cure her pain that she shouldn’t be feeling 20 mins after an extraction. If the receptionist doesn’t like her job she needs to find a different job. Deff won’t be coming back
Nick Nowicki: They’ve literally canceled multiple appointments and would reschedule me for months later, cracked one of my teeth during a cleaning and haven’t to fix it, if I could leave zero stars I would. If a doctor decides to take a day off or go on vacation I shouldn’t have to wait an entire month to get in.

Receptionist is absolutely awful.I called to have my xrays sent to my new dentist. Gril was polite and nice. Took my info no problem. I go to my dentist appointment only to discover my xrays were NOT sent. I called to be told something completely different. I had to cancel my appointment that took forever to get. A day of work completely wasted. I now have to drive to GR from Middleville to sign a piece of paper. This all could have been delt with last week when I originally called. Or there is new technology these days I could have done this on the internet. Just so frustrated with the lack of empathy and knowledge when it comes to the employee's. Will be recommending the the VA and its sponsors no longer refer any new patients to them. I would hate for someone that has anxiety like myself have to deal with this office.
kristin Thomas: Emergency dental is a JOKE here. You have patients in severe pain and the 2 ladies sitting behind the counter could care less. Rudest employees I’ve dealt with in a long time. Morgan Talbott: I’d leave no stars if it would let me. Let’s start with the fact that I made this appointment months ago and they had to cancel and reschedule my appointment. That’s strike one, although it didn’t bother me at the time, after everything else happened it’s just one more thing.I have pay for health and dental through my work at PNC bank, I’m 27 and very proud to finally have a career and the ability to get things like doctors appointments and teeth cleanings. I have a lot of anxiety surrounding the dentist since I haven’t been in many years; this appointment was a big deal for me. The receptionist calls me a few days before my appointment and tells me to bring my ID and either my insurance card or proof of income. She also tells me to come a few minutes early to be able to fill out paperwork. I ask her if she can email me the paperwork and I can print it and fill it out before hand. She says she, “doesn’t know”. I give her my email in case it’s an option. Never received any paperwork which I found unprofessional in itself.Then, the day of my appointment I come a little early, park and walk inside. When I approach the receptionist she’s cold and unfriendly and asks for my name, she looks me up and asks if I brought my proof of income or insurance card. I hold up the printed out insurance information. I try to slide it through the glass and she rudely says, “yeah I can’t take that today” She then goes on to tell me I can self claim and get a discount... i ask why would I do that when I have insurance and the information here? She then realizes the paper is a printed insurance card. She takes it and then tells me she can’t take my insurance because there’s no phone number to verify. There is an 800 number directly on the front of the page. It is for “member service” so she says that won’t work. I offer, “can’t you look up the website for a phone number” no, no she can’t do that.My only option would be to self claim. I left after that absolutely an emotional wreck.Listen, the whole experience was botched and left a terrible taste in my mouth for your establishment. The front line people who are working with your customers are cold and mean and not very well informed on procedure it seems. Empathy is really important in customer service, especially in fields of health and medical. And that is lacking 100% from Furgeson Dental.I won’t be back. I work at a large bank, I know that one small voice saying you’ve lost their business really doesn’t make much of a difference. But I want whoever reads this to know, you took what could have been a good experience for me in my fear of getting my teeth cleaned and ruined my day. Thanks.
Chloe Heitzman: Never personally had an issue here but I do notice annoyance and irritability from of the receptionist. The younger one seems more pleased with her job but I've always got in the next week for a filling and a month out for a cleaning which is understandable due to Covid. I've came here for an emergency extraction and got out within an hour and a half :)
Quinn Hunter: Came here for an emergency tooth removal (as they said the accept walk-ins) the receptionists were EXTREMELY rude. Only fit for emergency care. If you can go elsewhere, do. They charged my fiancee 54 dollars and in the end, didn't even do anything.

Elizabeth Zimmerman: Overall my experience has been good, but today I called to reschedule my appointment for a cleaning because my nose is running and I keep sneezing and I found out you get a "no-show" if you cancel within 24 hrs no matter the reason. Then if you get 3 they won't take you anymore. So basically if you're trying to be responsible and not get people sick you're punished for it. Seems reasonable....
Randi Connell: This is my 2nd visit here. I came because of the sliding scale fee (student and part-time worker).The receptionists were not pleasant or friendly when I came the first time. The receptionists do not acknowledge you when you walk in. They stare at their computers until they make some eye contact meaning you’re next. I was not told you need 2 separate appointments for your initial exam and initial cleaning. I had to come back for a cleaning when I thought I was getting one the first time. They book up quick so it’s not easy finding times that work. Plus, you can’t book out more than 3 months so you have to remember to call to schedule your next cleaning 6 months later.At my 2nd visit, I had to reapply for the sliding scale fee. There was no discretion when asking if I needed the sliding scale fee paperwork. It was loudly asked from the counter with other guests in the waiting room. She was also quite curt the entire time I was doing my paperwork and trying to understand my paychecks. After I finished my paperwork, I could hear the receptionist that helped me go over all the issues I had with my paychecks talking to someone else about it-not in a “here is the situation” type of way either. If I could hear that, then I’m sure the others in the lobby also could.. quite embarrassing. I also wasn’t told I’d be needing an exam at this appointment either. Luckily, I got out of the exam this time..There also is minimal barriers between exam spaces and cleaning spaces. The door for the cleaning was left open both times, and the blinds pulled up where people constantly walk by (right in downtown). It’s a little uncomfortable.My hygienist, Kim, is amazing. And the dentist was also great, but the attitudes surrounding everything was awful.

Jasmine Underland: The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The couple different doctors I've seen for check ups and cleanings were decent. My issue is with the hygienist (and they insist you always see the same one). The most recent time I was seen was for a mouth guard fitting and they didn't have the "right size" mold for me. The pediatric one was "too small" and the one they had for adults was a little big so she says (exact words), "well we don't have the right size so this is just going to suck, hopefully I don't torture you too much". She then tried a metal mold and ripped it out of my mouth so hard that it clanged against my teeth. I was so taken aback by how unprofessional and unapologetic she was that I was speechless. Before this I was fine being a patient here and my biggest complaint was the fact that multiple radio's played different stations and it was very annoying...but after this experience I will never be going back again.
thomas webster: Dont listen to the bad reviews i have been to alot of very expensive high end dentists in the past but this is my favorite. Fast and painless extractions, root canals, fillings and cleanings.
