Sherri Orrell: We highly recommend using Health Care Associates. My father needed 24/7 care and we had an amazing team of caregivers. We were truly blessed.

The therapist she found for us works great with my dad and is really helping in the areas where we could not get the help with in the first place. I highly recommend reaching out to them if you need advice or help with any matters.

I enjoy working with people and always strive to give the best care. The Nurses and scheduler are always on call if you ever have questions and are very nice and helpful. It’s a great company to work for!

Before joining this company I was in a completely different career and Healthcare Associates introduced me to the healthcare industry. I love that you don’t need to have a medical background in order to be able to work here and they will provide all the necessary training to be able to give the best care for the clients. I specifically work with quadriplegics and it’s the best company to be introduced if you’re new to healthcare. All the clients are so amazing and I haven’t had one bad experience with them!

Michelle Allison: We have only been using Care One for 2 weeks now and have had several thorough visits from a visiting nurse, 2 different people from the PT department, another initial visit from OT (who just happened to be the owner of this company!!!) Out in the field checking up on the clients!!! Another OT to come soon. We love the care our mom is getting already!!! Thank you Care One.

dovewatcher: My family has utilized home health service from Care One for over 5 yrs. The therapy team has worked with my mom through the chronic pain of multiple fractures, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and knee replacement. Rudy and therapists have been compassionate and successful. My mom has went from not being to stand more than 2-4 minutes to walking through a small store without even a cane now. Great job Rudy, Beverly, Carlos, and Melissa!!! Thank you for helping my mom remain independent 🤗

THANK YOU to kathy the nurse for her quick and thorough treatment to developing bed sores, Beverly p. t. for her weekly ambulatory intervention which has helped very much in our mother's care, and special thanks to Carol, occupational therapy for her skilled and detailed patient advocacy approach with the assisted living staff regarding toileting on a regular scheduled basis. Care one is the voice for a family that an assisted living staff will listen to, when needed, or when a family's voice or opinion might be otherwise dismissed. Thank you again! Daniel Hendrick: The most unreliable company I have ever dealt with! They provided "in home" healthcare for my mother. Two, two hour shifts were paid for through the Area Agency on Aging and the rest of the shifts were out of pocket. Their first date of service was October 13, 2014. Their final day was January 12, 2015. Between those dates they had 11 no-shows. There is no accountability in place and Interim doesn't know if their employees are at the site or not. One of the no-shows my mother, 77, quad bypass a year ago with Parkinson's called me at 1:00am from the floor [removed]. On several occasions I have asked to have Margaret Beck, owner, return my call and she did not. In fact the afternoon after my mother was on the floor I received a text message from Margaret's phone, it read: "Sir...please check your contact number for the agency or service that cares for your mother...this is a personal one...I hope she is ok...and that you straighten out the folks not doing their job... :)". I asked Margaret about the text message and she told me that she did not send it (yet it came from her phone number). If you care about a loved one and respect their wishes to stay at home instead of going into assisted living, Interim Healthcare of West Michigan is NOT the company for you. I would like to add that Interim canceled our services with the Area Agency on Aging with a two week notice, but never notified us that they were through with the out of pocket services . That would be five more two hour shifts per week. Which leaves us high and dry until we hire a reliable company. Never, ever use Interim!!***UPDATE***EIGHT years pass, and Interim responds to my review. It's nice to know that they are happy to discuss any issues, yes EIGHT years later. My mother has since died. Even their response legitimizes my review, think on that...

SydTheScienceKid: I’ve worked for interim for over 2 years now. I have to say it’s an amazing job to have for any busy, young person. Agency isn’t for everyone but amount of learning experience and growth it provides is a game changer for any nurse. The flexibility in making my own schedule was a life-saver through the journey of having our first baby. The staff are so good at communicating through both messaging and phone calls. Mallory is my scheduler and as been nothing but responsive, understanding, and kind.
Jennifer Gervais: I have worked for Interim Staffing since February of 2018. I love the flexibility it offers. I am currently in school and can pick up shifts around my school and family schedule which is a huge plus. The schedulers are very quick to respond to messages, I will likely continue working for them for a long time.
Mike Kent: This is a really bad company to work for I can't say this about all schedulers, but Kale likes like to yell at us on the phone and edit past conversations.

I’ve been to many different facilities and have done a bunch of different shifts with Homecare. Over the past few of years I’ve learned so many things I didn’t know before in previous years of healthcare, and have met some amazing people and created some wonderful friendships. Proud to be apart of this company, and any of my friends who are in the medical field I always recommend them to try working here. ♥️

Skilled facilities, assisted living, and home care...they can help match you up to what area you are able to work. Laure Smith: I have been with interim since just before the pandemic started. I could not have asked for a better opportunity. I love the flexibility and autonomy that working for them allows, and I have never in my time working with them had difficulty obtaining enough hours. Making the choice to work for interim has been good for me both personally and professionally. I have always been treated with utmost respect and professionalism by everyone at the office, if there has ever been an issue they have helped me work through it with understanding and compassion. Benefits and annual raises are fair and prompt.

I can't say enough of my time there , I was able to really make my own schedule , plenty of work hours and I could choose where and when I wanted to work . They were Always very understanding when I took time off to see my Family out -of - state . If I should return to Michigan again, I would definitely go back to Interim .
