Pamela Cooke: We had a great caregiver worker for my husband. Always on time, polite and considerate. But the office staff is disorganized. 3 times we have contacted the office and made requests for the caregiver not to come,..illness or appts.." yep we'll let them know" they say. 3 times our caregiver drove to our home and never got the communication. Ridiculous.They say need people but don't even communicate with the ones they have.
kevin hagler: The people at Elders Helpers have been there from me when I was in a pinch. Their compassion and undying commitment to the population they serve is outstanding. The staff is top notch, and I would entrust all those I care about to their dedicated hands. Thank you for all you do.

Mark Manion: Human waste left on toilet seats, food and clothing continuously disappearing and your loved one left in dirty diapers for days is what I have received for $ 8000 a month. Possibly your experience will be different , but I doubt it.

The management staff in helpful with someone always on call. They are there for your loved one 24/7. If you need in home aid, give them a call.

Anthony Wolfram: The employees are uneducated, part time, minimum wage workers. They are skilled at exploiting and taking advantage of the clients they are supposed to be helping. The "helper" does little more than prepare meals for themselves, use the client's vehicle, and take money and "gifts"- including major pieces of furniture!! The last experience I had with this place, the "helper" assisted an unemployed drug addict move in on the client and did absolutely nothing about the drugging and exploitation of the client. I don't understand why investigations and charges haven't been brought down on this place. It is horrible. Protect yourself and your loved ones. Steer clear of this "service".

Samantha N: PT canceled 1 hour before the scheduled time. Stating the drive is too far. She has known where I live for over 2 weeks. Scheduling with her was nearly impossible.This is time wasted when I could of been improving with services from another company.Editing to add. They repeatedly called to ask me to remove my review. The most recent call/text was 4 months after stopping using them.I received a MASSIVE bill 6 month after stopping going to them. After reaching out to my insurance, I found out they had not actually submitted it to the insurance company.
Keeper Of The Kee: Purpose of visit- Job interview LPN Home Health Visits Nurse.Greeted by two friendly members of the front office staff. I was made to feel welcome during my brief wait for Chief Operating Officer, Shipra.The interview was to be 1 out of 2 interviews. Shipra shared some company background with me. She gave details of the role that I was applying for and asked to learn more details regarding myself and my nursing journey.Shipra explained that at Pure Home Health Care their mission is to improve quality of life, and prevent hospitalization in the patients that are in their care. She stated that they are a family owned business with highly trained therapists and nurses. The company was looking to bring on a nurse or two that would reflect those core values and who is looking for growth and longevity in a strong, close knit team.Although I could not accept the position at the time, I feel that I would have been very happy and fulfilled working with this company.I am also certain that for those who are in need of a visiting nurse or who have loved ones requiring services, Pure Home Health would be an excellent choice!

Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting with the owners, who have a clear passion for the mission of their business, but the in home nurses are absolutely AMAZING!My grandfather has had a difficult year with serious knee and walking issues. He was initially not overly receptive to in home care/PT, but could not say enough good things about the staff. He’s almost 90, and can talk anyones ear off. The nurses were kind, patient, and genuinely cared about improving his situation.I cannot thank this team enough for what they have done and would recommend them to absolutely anyone in need of home care assistance.
dianna carter: My therapist (JM) is great to work with, I had full knee replacement with Dr.Hedlund on March 1 And have been working with Jay three days a week To get my right knee back to normal. Prior to him coming the day after I had surgery I was unable to get out of bed without serious pain. I did therapy with him on Tuesday, March 2 for the first time and after therapy he had left and I was so excited that I was able to get out of bed and walk around a little with my Walker freely and little pain it was like my muscle was strong enough for me to be able to do that. He pushes you instead of letting you Give up makes you want to reach your ultimate goal. I highly recommend him and I know I always will keep his name in my contacts after we’re done with therapy as if I’m in need for another therapist I want him first. Thanks, Dianna Carter

They made the transition of my grandma moving in with me so much easier!My favorite part has been, if you have more than 1 type of help (OT, PT, nurse, etc), they are excellent at communicating with each other so I don't have to repeat info at each appt. It was such a relief they coordinated & shared important info/ events amongst themselves. One less thing for me to worry about!THANK YOU to the entire care team for everything you do! Kristi Holm: My Family has used Pure Home Health Care for my father who has ALS. Pure has the most competent and compassionate nurses and therapists that you could ask for. ALS is a death sentence but with the nurses and therapists spending time with my parents it has given us hope that at least my dad‘s quality of life will be improved. If you want quality personal attention I would definitely choose Pure over any of the bigger agencies. The compassionate nature starts from the top down.

PHILANDES WILLIAMS: Terribly slow and failed to start physical therapy as fast as they could.Seemed more interested in billing insurance for unnecessary nursing visits rather than providing the occupational therapy services my Mother needed.

This is against compliance and Trinity Health should be held accountable for the horrible service. Our family has been pretty patient with past mistakes but this is unacceptable. Do you guys even have ethics or integrity? Why would you suggest just using supplies that was not the right prescription (and you KNEW you ordered the wrong stuff)?Called to file a complaint and left a voicemail this morning. Daniel Hendrick: The most unreliable company I have ever dealt with! They provided "in home" healthcare for my mother. Two, two hour shifts were paid for through the Area Agency on Aging and the rest of the shifts were out of pocket. Their first date of service was October 13, 2014. Their final day was January 12, 2015. Between those dates they had 11 no-shows. There is no accountability in place and Interim doesn't know if their employees are at the site or not. One of the no-shows my mother, 77, quad bypass a year ago with Parkinson's called me at 1:00am from the floor [removed]. On several occasions I have asked to have Margaret Beck, owner, return my call and she did not. In fact the afternoon after my mother was on the floor I received a text message from Margaret's phone, it read: "Sir...please check your contact number for the agency or service that cares for your mother...this is a personal one...I hope she is ok...and that you straighten out the folks not doing their job... :)". I asked Margaret about the text message and she told me that she did not send it (yet it came from her phone number). If you care about a loved one and respect their wishes to stay at home instead of going into assisted living, Interim Healthcare of West Michigan is NOT the company for you. I would like to add that Interim canceled our services with the Area Agency on Aging with a two week notice, but never notified us that they were through with the out of pocket services . That would be five more two hour shifts per week. Which leaves us high and dry until we hire a reliable company. Never, ever use Interim!!***UPDATE***EIGHT years pass, and Interim responds to my review. It's nice to know that they are happy to discuss any issues, yes EIGHT years later. My mother has since died. Even their response legitimizes my review, think on that...

SydTheScienceKid: I’ve worked for interim for over 2 years now. I have to say it’s an amazing job to have for any busy, young person. Agency isn’t for everyone but amount of learning experience and growth it provides is a game changer for any nurse. The flexibility in making my own schedule was a life-saver through the journey of having our first baby. The staff are so good at communicating through both messaging and phone calls. Mallory is my scheduler and as been nothing but responsive, understanding, and kind.
Jennifer Gervais: I have worked for Interim Staffing since February of 2018. I love the flexibility it offers. I am currently in school and can pick up shifts around my school and family schedule which is a huge plus. The schedulers are very quick to respond to messages, I will likely continue working for them for a long time.

Michelle Allison: We have only been using Care One for 2 weeks now and have had several thorough visits from a visiting nurse, 2 different people from the PT department, another initial visit from OT (who just happened to be the owner of this company!!!) Out in the field checking up on the clients!!! Another OT to come soon. We love the care our mom is getting already!!! Thank you Care One.

The therapy team has worked with my mom through the chronic pain of multiple fractures, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and knee replacement. Rudy and therapists have been compassionate and successful. Diane Anderson: I can not say enough great things about Wayne Dantuma and his staff. I needed to find a facility for my mother who became a 2 person assist and also needing memory care. Appointments were set up with tours within days. Her move happen in less than a week. The care that my mother receives is outstanding. I can't thank him enough.
Rj Ergang: Our friend Mike Warmbier introduced us to Wayne. We were facing a HUGE job in convincing mom she needed to make a move. Wayne worked around our schedule, met us in our home, set up a lunch 'date' with a facility and met us there for the tour.Wayne took the time to even dust off his Spanish and speak to mom in her native tongue. Nice surprise.Bottom line....mom was very pleased and quite positive about the facility. So pleased in fact, that she agreed to move forward and we now await a double room for mom! What a load of pressure relieved. Wayne was patient, kind, thorough and the consummate professional.I would HIGHLY recommend Wayne and his company for the business of helping those who cannot care for their elderly parents to find a place for their parents to age gracefully and safely.We have prayed long and hard for a solution to this situation. Mark Ann Nelson: I was introduced to Wayne Dantuma by a friend - who knew I was looking for a retirement community.Before Wayne I was wondering all over the city on my own - not asking the right questions. Wayne came to my home and got to know me and I him. He asked where I was looking, what my needs were, and what I could afford.He arrange meeting with various retirement communities in my price range, etc.. He would picked me up - go with me on the tours provided and we would often had lunch, at these facilities. Afterwards, I would ask him MANY questions and he would always be forth coming and even adding additional information, that I had not thought to ask. Tony has worked hard to communicate to my husband's level of thinking. Ive been very appreciative of Tony and all that he does for not only my husband but even more so for me.

Paula Briggs: I setup a consultation with Barb from Home Instead in regards to possible home care for my mom. My brother and I waited for Barb, but she never showed up and didn’t call us to let us know she wasn’t coming. When my brother called her, she rambled about why she didn’t show up, but never apologized. I still haven’t heard from her. This was very disappointing and unprofessional! We’re moving on.
Brenda Johnson: I have a variety of complicated medical issues, and Home Instead has been extremely good and helpful with working with my needs, hours, and matching the right caregiver to meet my specific needs. It's been a pleasure to finally have an agency and caregiver that has more concern about my needs than others agencies in the past. My helper is a true blessing! She's a perfect match in many ways! The office staff has been fantastic in working with my ever-changing schedule of medical appointment that come up, even the last minute ones. They continue to work with me in every way possible to be sure that I'm getting the care that I want and need, and that I'm getting the hours I'm supposed to be getting, and that I'm happy with everything. Yes, I would highly recommend Home Instead Senior Care to anyone who needs help within their own home, from personal care to domestic care. brenda flores: I applied for a home care position. I did tell them that I had a second job. A month went by and no calls for shifts I decided to go elsewhere. I went to there training orientation was never paid. I was told by Barb that she had to pay money to do my background test and drug test so she couldn’t pay me. During orientation/training she was doing other things trying to find shift coverage and bashing her employees to new comers. I had spoken to Jill and she told me I would be paid for those hours but never was. I wouldn’t recommend. Very unprofessional and rude.
