As Long As The Facility Is Getting What They Want And Maxim Is Still Getting Paid Nothing Matters. I Was Harassed And Bullied While On An Assignment By A WHITE Co-Worker Who Had No Reason To Have A Problem With Me And Maxim Swept The Whole Thing Under The Rug Literally Everyone With Knowledge Of It. If You Want To Work For A Company That Listens To Their Employees And Values Them Then Maxim Is Not The Place For You.

Krystal McClure: Worst place to work for, they do not care about there employee's at all. Not do they care about the people they are hiring staff to care for. I would not recommend this place to anyone rather your a person looking for work or a facility looking for staffing help.
Carol Stayton: Today I sent an email to the person who sent info about an education on line class about the time it was to be held. What time I had scheduled was an hour later than the reminder email. Since I got an "out of the office " email, I had to call the office, to straighten out what was going on. Turns out the person sending out the reminder was in Chicago which is central time, not eastern which is where my office is. Perhaps people who set this stuff up could be mindful of this, not hard to put time zone in. I work a 10 hour day as do many, scheduling tasks to be done on one day off can be messed up by things like this.
Ana Tomson: Maxim is used for our PDN hours. They’ve continued to meet my high expectations and sort out any conflicts which have arisen. The shortage of Nursing staff is frustrating but currently that’s across all companies and a state wide issue.
sherri Winter: Flexibility to balance work and life. Pay is okay, better then some, not as good as others. Support staff is great, always available to help when needed. Yearly skills updates and review. Very supportive of their staff and empathetic with staff and family needs.. Don’t “punish” you or treat you bad if you’re sick. Also the freedom to work independently.. by far my favorite job (so far). Pretty laid back compared to facility working, however you are your own co-worker, so if you have something happen you are the one to handle it- which is fine for most people, others need people with them for support. Which is also fine! The biggest “downfall” for me is all the paper charting. But it is what it is! I have one patient all shift, that I can give 100% of my attention to! I love that!

Maxim may be a National company, but their care and services given have a hometown, friendly attitude!

Jacquelyn Kidder: I was struggling to find a job, due to now a days everything is needing to be done via email or Facebook, sending my resume to multiple places. Maxim was one of the agencies that had received my info. and a wonderfully amazing recruiter reached out to me, with a couple phone interviews was invited to join Maxim. They had a quick orientation process, basically a check off of all the up to date nursing and clerical skills, I currently practice daily, Maxim was able to place me in a local full time position that works perfectly for me and especially my family, I couldn't be happier. This agency has it all, if your a nurse and need full time, part time, or hours just PRN, they will work with you. If your forte is home care, facility, clinical or office work, they have jobs for you, If you like to travel or need something local to you, Maxim has a job for you. If your hard working, reliable, dedicated, and enjoy caring for others, then Maxim is definitely where you need to be.

Daniel Hendrick: The most unreliable company I have ever dealt with! They provided "in home" healthcare for my mother. Two, two hour shifts were paid for through the Area Agency on Aging and the rest of the shifts were out of pocket. Their first date of service was October 13, 2014. Their final day was January 12, 2015. Between those dates they had 11 no-shows. There is no accountability in place and Interim doesn't know if their employees are at the site or not. One of the no-shows my mother, 77, quad bypass a year ago with Parkinson's called me at 1:00am from the floor [removed]. On several occasions I have asked to have Margaret Beck, owner, return my call and she did not. In fact the afternoon after my mother was on the floor I received a text message from Margaret's phone, it read: "Sir...please check your contact number for the agency or service that cares for your mother...this is a personal one...I hope she is ok...and that you straighten out the folks not doing their job... :)". I asked Margaret about the text message and she told me that she did not send it (yet it came from her phone number). If you care about a loved one and respect their wishes to stay at home instead of going into assisted living, Interim Healthcare of West Michigan is NOT the company for you. I would like to add that Interim canceled our services with the Area Agency on Aging with a two week notice, but never notified us that they were through with the out of pocket services . That would be five more two hour shifts per week. Which leaves us high and dry until we hire a reliable company. Never, ever use Interim!!***UPDATE***EIGHT years pass, and Interim responds to my review. It's nice to know that they are happy to discuss any issues, yes EIGHT years later. My mother has since died. Even their response legitimizes my review, think on that...

Agency isn’t for everyone but amount of learning experience and growth it provides is a game changer for any nurse. The flexibility in making my own schedule was a life-saver through the journey of having our first baby. The staff are so good at communicating through both messaging and phone calls. Mallory is my scheduler and as been nothing but responsive, understanding, and kind.
Jennifer Gervais: I have worked for Interim Staffing since February of 2018. I love the flexibility it offers. I am currently in school and can pick up shifts around my school and family schedule which is a huge plus. The schedulers are very quick to respond to messages, I will likely continue working for them for a long time.

I love the flexibility and autonomy that working for them allows, and I have never in my time working with them had difficulty obtaining enough hours. Making the choice to work for interim has been good for me both personally and professionally. I have always been treated with utmost respect and professionalism by everyone at the office, if there has ever been an issue they have helped me work through it with understanding and compassion. Dawn Mango: As a nurse who was looking for a place where caring for your patient is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of your day, I've found it! The patient advocacy is like no other I've dealt with. Deanna is the nurse manager and she is ALWAYS available to troubleshoot concerns. She is KIND 1st and foremost. I have witnessed her get through to clients that everyone has rejected. It is her authenticity that they feel, I'm sure of it! Money is NOT the reason she comes to work everyday. She has children with disabilites so she gets it! I know I could make more other places but I am valued here and my patients thrive which is worth more than gold!

Sue Sloop: AgeWise is an excellent resource for anyone finding themselves in the overwhelming position of finding elder care for a loved one. Michelle Herron, throughout the years, has helped my family, fellow coworkers at Grand Valley State University, and friends to navigate the vast elder care maze. She is extremely knowledgeable of elder care resources, including placement facilities, financial considerations, home care, etc. When my father was wrongly placed in a nursing home by a medical social worker, Michelle had him relocated in less than 48 hours to an assisted living facility, which was more appropriate for his needs and for his comfort level. My family and I were extremely grateful for Michelle and her expertise, and because of that, my father’s last days were better spent. I highly recommend AgeWise and the services that Michelle Herron provides. It will make one’s life so much easier and reduce the stress that comes with elder care. Thank you Michelle!

Mike Lutley: I saw the info for Agewise Eldercare solutions at Mercy Health St. Mary's Hospital this past November and really appreciated this resource to help decide where best to move my 92 yr. old mother after her hospitalization for dementia/behavioral changes as well as some other health issues. Samantha N: PT canceled 1 hour before the scheduled time. Stating the drive is too far. She has known where I live for over 2 weeks. Scheduling with her was nearly impossible.This is time wasted when I could of been improving with services from another company.Editing to add. They repeatedly called to ask me to remove my review. The most recent call/text was 4 months after stopping using them.I received a MASSIVE bill 6 month after stopping going to them. After reaching out to my insurance, I found out they had not actually submitted it to the insurance company.
Keeper Of The Kee: Purpose of visit- Job interview LPN Home Health Visits Nurse.Greeted by two friendly members of the front office staff. I was made to feel welcome during my brief wait for Chief Operating Officer, Shipra.The interview was to be 1 out of 2 interviews. Shipra shared some company background with me. She gave details of the role that I was applying for and asked to learn more details regarding myself and my nursing journey.Shipra explained that at Pure Home Health Care their mission is to improve quality of life, and prevent hospitalization in the patients that are in their care. She stated that they are a family owned business with highly trained therapists and nurses. The company was looking to bring on a nurse or two that would reflect those core values and who is looking for growth and longevity in a strong, close knit team.Although I could not accept the position at the time, I feel that I would have been very happy and fulfilled working with this company.I am also certain that for those who are in need of a visiting nurse or who have loved ones requiring services, Pure Home Health would be an excellent choice!

Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting with the owners, who have a clear passion for the mission of their business, but the in home nurses are absolutely AMAZING!My grandfather has had a difficult year with serious knee and walking issues. He was initially not overly receptive to in home care/PT, but could not say enough good things about the staff. He’s almost 90, and can talk anyones ear off. The nurses were kind, patient, and genuinely cared about improving his situation.I cannot thank this team enough for what they have done and would recommend them to absolutely anyone in need of home care assistance.
dianna carter: My therapist (JM) is great to work with, I had full knee replacement with Dr.Hedlund on March 1 And have been working with Jay three days a week To get my right knee back to normal. Prior to him coming the day after I had surgery I was unable to get out of bed without serious pain. I did therapy with him on Tuesday, March 2 for the first time and after therapy he had left and I was so excited that I was able to get out of bed and walk around a little with my Walker freely and little pain it was like my muscle was strong enough for me to be able to do that. He pushes you instead of letting you Give up makes you want to reach your ultimate goal. I highly recommend him and I know I always will keep his name in my contacts after we’re done with therapy as if I’m in need for another therapist I want him first. Thanks, Dianna Carter

I would recommend them for any home health care needed!Every single worker that has come to my house or that I've talked to for my grandma's care, has been so nice and incredibly patient with my gazillion questions. They made the transition of my grandma moving in with me so much easier!My favorite part has been, if you have more than 1 type of help (OT, PT, nurse, etc), they are excellent at communicating with each other so I don't have to repeat info at each appt. It was such a relief they coordinated & shared important info/ events amongst themselves. One less thing for me to worry about!THANK YOU to the entire care team for everything you do! Kristi Holm: My Family has used Pure Home Health Care for my father who has ALS. Pure has the most competent and compassionate nurses and therapists that you could ask for. ALS is a death sentence but with the nurses and therapists spending time with my parents it has given us hope that at least my dad‘s quality of life will be improved. If you want quality personal attention I would definitely choose Pure over any of the bigger agencies. The compassionate nature starts from the top down.
