Adrienne Wallace: Love's is...well, love. This is premium ice cream with a premium price tag but you already knew that...so stop complaining about the cost and instead savor the quality and culinary care which is more than worth it. If you want a quick/cheap cone, head up Plainfield to Frosty Boy or the DQ. This is simply not the same category, nor are they trying to be. While you're here and now in the right mindset, try the boozie ice cream shake.

I had A very HAPPY 5 children and mama!! Pinkies goes above and beyond and I am elated with their customer service. The owner Glenn is also so kind and came out to greet us when we were there prior and talked with my kids- amazing owner and awesome business for our town.

Sasha Kay: The staff was friendly and they had interesting flavors. To me the texture was off. The ice cream felt more icey than creamy and then had almost a waxy after taste. I had the ritz flavor which was good but not creamy like it mentioned. It felt like eating crushed ice a bit. My 4 year old didn't care for hers either. The shop itself was cute and I loved their outdoor seating

The shop is quite small and lacks indoor seating, but the employee was very friendly and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegan options offered here as well. Delightful experience.

Vivian Tran: While waiting I noticed the car at the front of the line get handed an oddly crooked soft serve ice cream cone. Instead of making a new one, they proceed to hand the customer a cup and spoon aware of the error they could’ve easily corrected. Unsurprisingly, I also then got handed a crooked soft serve ice cream cone that looked like it was about to slide right off the cone at any second. When asking for a new one, I received mean girl attitude and sad excuses. Looks like quality control is an issue now.*update 5/23: still crooked
Diana Rowan: First time here, just passing through and sampled the hand dipped, soft serve and shake. The soft serve ice cream here is exceptional. They also served the shake with a proper wide shake straw that’s big enough for nice chunks of fruit to come through.

Terrell Russell: To make things short they don't take debt card which is something a business should always take when dealing with high volumes of customers. So it's cash only which is a negative. On top of that the lady made my order wrong when I specifically told her I didn't want peanuts in the ice cream for this case. Then on top of that when I told her thank you for redoing it I got no sorry or no problem back, as a busniess owner myself everyone knows the customer is pretty much right all the time. Treat me better if I'm spending money at your establishment, won't ever be going back again :)

Laura Muresan: Update: Prices have become ridiculous. The cheapest cone is $4.95 (in 2023). When asked if they have a kiddie cone, they said, "We can make the cone smaller, but the price is the same." I let my son get a cone because he had earned it as a reward, but decided to skip it myself. I don't see myself returning with prices like that, which is unfortunate, because I otherwise like the place.This is a great ice cream shop. There is a nice selection of ice cream flavors, homemade waffle cones (it smells divine when you go in), and more candy choices than a person could ever eat. The shop displays a collection of local and dairy-related memorabilia which is fun to look at while waiting in line. Adorable antique school desks are a great place to sit and eat a cone, and there are also tables available inside and out. My son loves to see the Polar Express model train that runs around the top of the shop. My parents went here for their first date over 50 years ago.

Karen Jansma: Ordered a peanut butter sundae but there was not hardly any peanut butter sauce on it. Very disappointed. I don't know if I will drive the extra anymore to go there.

Kendra Fisher: Twisty's is my favorite ice cream shop in West Grand Rapids. They don't have as low of prices as they use to, I will admit, but I still think it's worth it. Online it says they close 9pm but their sign out front states they don't close until 10pm (in case you like late night trips like myself). They do not accept apple pay however, so be aware of that if you've never been there.

Good times.Edit, today I ordered my usual order and the people in the store gave me vanilla. When I told them that it was not what I ordered they argued with me and said their "machine" said that was what I ordered. This is the second time they have screwed up my order and accused me of ordering something I didn't want. Not cool. I'll be going to Dairy Queen for the rest of the season I think. Her hot fudge is skimpy on the fudge today and the last few visits. I am quite disappointed.

Alida Wingard: Such a “sweet” place! The Manager and crew truly love their shop, their sweets, and their city. We had a really great time eating some ice cream and visiting with them. You honestly can’t got wrong with any of the in house made fudge, but if you’re undecided, they’ll let you sample. Absolutely a must visit if you’re anywhere near Grand Rapids!

C Smith: Absolute BEST place in GR for vegan and gf icecream treats! I have a dairy allergy and love that I have such a selection of treats to choose from. Even better selection if you don't have allergies at all! They do a great job at handling allergies and habe separate areas and equipment to handle them. Be prepared for long lines on nice days and later at night but it's so worth it.

We were very impressed and will be visiting all summer long!
