Matthew Dickey: Went in to look at some suits for my wedding. G went above and beyond with exceptional service and an even better eye for what would look good on me. It only took trying on a few things for him to make some fantastic recommendations. This store is quite pricey but for the quality and level of service, it is the best.
Andrew Jo: Unjustifiably expensive..The entire luxury apparel industry is based on the classist fallacy of clothing aesthetics superceding functionality which is lamentably inherent to human culture globally; however, this company seems a even more predatory than their competitors. They ply their prospective victims with alchohol in an attempt to lower their guard, and they use sales tactics to exaggerate the magnitude of trivial differences in garment options as a ruse of superior service. Truly superior service would disrupt the industry status quo by offering greater flexibility in the packaging and pricing options for groups instead of masking their profiteering as elitism. They are one of many companies that preys on a captive market where societal expectations establish artificial requirements for clothing at noteworthy events.

Michelle S2: Fantastic customer service and selection at Fitzgerald’s! Seriously best service I think I’ve ever had! I’ve been to other high end clothing stores where I could not get waited on because I was casually dressed. At Fitzgerald’s despite my shorts and my sons t-shirt we were treated well and had a wonderful experience shopping there. We walked in on a Saturday morning to get a dress shirt for my son who had arrived in town without nice dress clothes for a wedding that evening. Kurt was so kind and helpful assisting us in getting shirt, pants, tie and a very stylish vest. It’s rare to be waited on in this day and age with this level of attention. Kurt was able to guess my sons size then measured him to confirm and was able to point us towards styles that a young 20s man liked and that fit well. We left with classic clothes my son will wear for years and they even pressed his shirt and we’re able to quickly hem the pants for us.If we lived in the area we’d shop here regularly as they had excellent selections that appealed to a variety of ages and the clothes we got are quality and will last. So happy we were pointed to Fitzgerald’s and will visit again to outfit my husband the next time we are back in town. Kudos to their staff!

Mark Miller: All I can say is WOW ! We loved this store. Great clothing and lots of choices. Customer service is top notch from the moment you walk in . Ask for “G” , he is amazing . He will find you a suit and shirt and have it tailored to make it a custom fit you . If not a suit he can certainly hook you up with something. David Abbott is also amazing ,if you can get either one you hit the jackpot. Don’t get me wrong they are all good and all will help you but they are our favorites. It’s fun shopping there and we have met so many people and share stories.

Sense I've signed up for an email coupyons I have yet to receive any. I would always get them in the mail( paper coupon) with no problem. I spend a lot of money here and have yet to ever receive my 5.00 off for spending x- amount of money. Very disappointed in the electric side of the store.

Jim Newland: Interesting experience today at ICMW...I used to teach down the road and would drive by this place and well...it IS in a strip mall so I didn't really think it was up to snuff. I'm old enough now that I should know not to judge a book by it's cover. We needed a suit, and went to Jos. A Bank first and just about got a nose bleed from the prices. Granted, my son is 6'6" tall so it isn't easy to fit him. Never fear....Pete is here. He hooked us up with an Italian wool suit of top notch quality for $200 less than Jos. A Bank. We then used that money we saved to buy him shoes, a shirt, and a tie. All topped off with a professionally tailored job by Joe. Can't wait to see the final results but have a gut feeling we're going to really like the finished product. I look forward to going back for my needs in the near future.

Dave Smith: Unfortunately, I have to write my first review. I’ve gone to the Grandville store for years to buy shirts, suits etc…It’s been a few years since I stopped in. I went in yesterday 5/9/2023, and the lady was extremely rude to me, it felt like I was in bizarro world! This place used to be professional and hired people to match. But not any longer.I will not go back. When you work at a clothing store/retail it’s all about the customer experience and service! Unfortunately, these employees’ could not care less and didn’t hide it.I see it more and more since COVID. People simply don’t seem to care. It’s very unfortunate!

Angela Hodges: Rented a pronto uomo vintage tan suit candy pink vest and bow tie for my sons prom. Cost was $209.99…not worth it! The pants had a stain, they were also short, and jacket was short as well (measurements were not taken properly). The only two things that were good; were the vest and bow tie. He didn’t wear the shoes he rented because he had shoes that better matched the look he was going for. I would not recommend. Shop around for prices, quality and knowledgeable staff.
Dj H: I came in to get fitted for a suit for my friend's wedding this summer. I didn't have to wait long and the guy measuring me did a good job, but the rental was $240.I asked how much it was to buy it and he told me around $450.Over 50% just to rent the suit seems very expensive. The person who was working agreed that it was expensive and that the prices went all over and we're sporadic.The store was nice and the staff was nice, and we shall see how the suit comes out.
cassidy meade: This men’s wearhouse was far better then the one out in grandville. I had some issues out there but when taking 5 groomsmen to buy suits with trying them on to getting then pinned for tailoring the whole process took 2 hours while they were super busy. Will 100% be choosing this location over the other.

When we went in there, we waited about 15 minutes to be acknowledged by somebody, and some lady came out from the back and helped us out. She didn’t even introduce herself or ask us for our names. She was very helpful with trying to figure out what colors of suit jackets we’d like, but when I asked if he could try on some of the suits, she said no.I am just a little confused on why we couldn’t try on suits especially since we made an appointment to specifically do so?We left feeling very unaccomplished and with absolutely zero decisions made (My fiancé left even more confused about what to wear than when he walked in)

Jared Woodside: DO NOT GO HERE! This location just doesn't seem to care about its customers. I bought 2 suits from this location and it has been a disaster since. First time my suits came in they put them on the rack and sold them. They corrected the mistake a few days later for 1 suit but I had to wait another week for the 2nd. After that I ended up with the wrong size coat for 1 suit. Went back to exchange it on 11/12/22 was told to give it up to 2 weeks. 2 weeks goes by I call to see if it came in. They cannot find it anywhere. I give it a couple days and call back. GUESS WHAT? They did get my coat but they put it on the rack and sold it AGAIN! I was told this Tuesday 12/6/22 that they had one in the Grandville store and that they would have it overnighted so I could pick it up on Wed. Knowing their track record I told the rep I would be in on Thursday 12/8/22 to make sure they had time. I show up today and after an hour of sitting there guess what? THEY COULD NOT FIND IT AGAIN!!! They have not offered me anything for my multiple trips to the store the time wasted sitting there while they stare at the computer, absolutely nothing. Once or IF my coat ever gets there and they do not offer some sort of compensation or a voucher or any good faith I will be sure our company who spends A LOT of $$ here takes our business back to Woodland Tailors down the road. Just ridiculous, do better Mens Warehouse.

I was there two months ago and should have been told then when I was getting measured. If you want a hassle and a difficult suit rental go here... never again I guarantee it!
Steven Hawkes: My reason for going today was for a new suit for an interview with a bank. After reading reviews I was a little concerned, but most negative reviews were wedding related (and we know how those people can be sometimes). When I walked in I approached a sales person and mentioned I needed help. That person was Vesna. She helped me from head to toe. She gave me a lot of options, showed me some things on clearance, and I never felt upsold. She even caught a pricing discrepancy at the register. All of my future purchase will be done at this location, hopefully with the help of Vesna! I was lost and I really appreciate her time and professionalism. Thank you, Vesna!

Tuck Meyer: Had a fun time shopping with Pam today. We picked out some great stuff and had fun doing it. I was impressed with some of the new stuff…and the prices are great. I’m honestly bummed I spent twice as much on golf shorts somewhere else. The ones I bought today might be the most comfortable shorts I’ve worn. $35. I’m going back tomorrow for more.

Morgan Shride: My fiancé and I came in to the store today after making an appointment to look at suits for him and our bridal party. We were incredibly shocked at how uncomfortable we felt during our appointment and how poor the customer service was. There was one young woman on the team who was friendly and helpful, but the two older employees helping us were rude and condescending from the moment we started our appointment. We had to ask all the questions to make any sort of progress. It was our first suit shopping experience for our wedding, and I was shocked at how awkward and unprofessional the appointment went. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. It put a damper on our evening and this part of our planning process. We’re a pretty pleasant group and were prepared to place our order if we found a suit we liked when we went in, but I didn’t feel comfortable making this the location we’d send our bridal party. There seem to be other reviews like this about the store and staff, and I think it would be wise to take the feedback into serious consideration.
Anthony West: Recently picked up 5 suits here to update my wardrobe after a 50 lb weight loss.I highly recommend this establishment. It's network is big enough to get you what you need, but the physical size of the actual store is cozy enough to make you feel like you're being catered to.The only caveat is:Do not get fitted after hours!Trust me on this, you want to be fitted during the day hours... i.e. before 4p.m.Preferably, call the store, and ask im when the seamstress is going to be in. (this will be the actual person making alterations) ...There are 2 mature seamstresses working there. Between the 2 of them, they're there about 4 days a week. They are both awesome. They know the newer trends, ( Recommend for me to let go of my pleats request, "not in style " in her deep Eastern Europe accent.) and how style dictates fit in today's suits. Trust me, you want this education. I learned allot from them.

T B: Do not shop here, especially for your wedding! I came in looking for a wedding suit after checking out a couple of other retailers. I could not find what I wanted so Justin offered the idea of buying a custom suit. This was a great idea . . .until the suit came in from the manufacturer. The fitting and measurements were all wrong. At this time I was 5 weeks out from my big day, so they rushed a reorder of the suit. Again, the measurements were all wrong and the tailor, Julie, said there is nothing she can do to help. I am less than a week away at this point and the store manager, Nate, refused to give me a refund. Saying it is "not their fault the CUSTOM made suit does not fit." They banned me from the store and customer service refuses to step in to help. This store is an absolute disaster and I am warning you to avoid shopping from here. I am out of over $400, no suit, and a wedding in a week. BFFR!

Brad Tooker: I am shocked to have had such a humiliating, negative experience at this location when visiting to discuss tuxedo options for my upcoming wedding.The first associate was knowledgeable enough and fine to work with, but another associate by the name of Nate rudely injected his opinion mid conversation and said some truly distasteful comments. While I had a suit on he asked me if I planned on losing weight before my wedding. He then commented on its poor fit further and remarked on the pants saying I have “thick thighs”. He was also very negative about the concept of renting a tuxedo, implying that there wouldn’t be options for my body type. Finally, when asking the date of our wedding he was dismissive of providing much information and suggested we come back later on.Look elsewhere for any basic level of respect as a potential customer, and as a human being.
Kristina Morgan: My husband bought a dress shirt and some socks, telling the sales person he may have a shirt just like that and would it be an issue to return it? She said it wouldn’t be a problem at all. He used cash to purchase.He took the shirt back today (which he never took out of the bag) and was told he could only get merchandise credit. They would not give him cash back even after he asked if he should come back later if they didn’t have the cash. Now he has a $60 gift card for a place he will never return to due to his return not being honored. They said that’s why they encourage people to use a card. But they surely took the cash for the initial transaction. Guess they should have passed on that sale if they don’t deal with cash. Bad business.

Naxhiely Orozco: Terrible customer service, we came in looking for a suit for my fiancé and the staff helping us was very short answered and didn’t explain anything to us. We had to ask all the questions about renting vs buying. It was our first time looking for suits so we didn’t know what to expect but it definitely was not the experience we expected. We know we were late in buying our suit since our wedding was next month but he made jokes about us being so late to purchasing the suit and it was awkward. Because of this we decided to pass and let him know we would think about it and come back after talking to the groomsmen. Once we were on the other side of the store he said “well you better hurry up and decide since your wedding is next month already” and he told a party that was next to us “I had a guy come in to get a suit the same day of his wedding”. That made us feel that he was making fun of us and our situation and it was definitely embarrassing and uncalled for!

BILL Mcclure: I came in today looking for a pair of cuff links being that I am absent minded I didn't realize I left my cuff link box at home. Came in here and found a great selection of beautiful cuff links. The gentleman who's name I did not get was very helpful in helping me find something that I could use and uphold the best of style. I'm from out of town but fully plan on coming back to purchase my next suit. Grade A service and a place I will come back to when time allows me to do so .

Not sure if the jacket makes me or I make the jacket but were both extremely pleased. Thank you again. I was able to set up a private appointment for a custom suit fitting for my upcoming wedding. He offered everything I needed - jacket, pants, dress shirt, tie, shoes, socks, belt and every other detail. There was tons of premium options to pick from and he offered great suggestions. Ryan Rearick: I needed to get a pair of pants tailored. Granted, they were off the rack cheap polyester pants. Bought them to put together a suit for my brother in law's wedding. I just wanted them hemmed and maybe see what magic these guys could do. I walk into F David Barney on a Tuesday afternoon and there are three guys sitting around a table drinking beers. Good start. I explain to the group what I was in for and put said pants on to show what I needed. Within a minute, I'm being accosted because of the low quality of the pants and I should have "bought slim fit pants in the first place". Why do I need to defend myself if I'm asking for help? (hint: this is the time you try to sell me on some pants in your store). They weren't even interested in trying to tailor the pants. He just quick marked a spot he decided was where the pants should be hemmed and shooed me back into the dressing room (maybe I wanted something different?). I decided that was enough for me, and took my business elsewhere.Maybe I caught these guys on a bad day. Maybe they've had a string of cheapskates that want a perfect suit for a penny. I can't say. All I know is from my experience, don't go to David Barney unless you want to buy their stuff, and do things their way.2 Stars, because at least the store looked intriguing.

Chris Lammers: Ahmad is amazing! He’s now helped me pick two suits and a sport coat. Each time he listens to what my desires are, and then guides me toward an outfit that’s even better than what I was expecting. Their prices are reasonable too - not the lowest in town, but you’re getting a much higher quality product than the bargain stores.
Jacob Howell: Best place to buy a quality suit for an affordable price. Ahmad is absolutely amazing and always listens to exactly what I'm looking for and never tries to sell me on things I don't need which I appreciate.
Brad Feltz: I walked in and Ahmad immediately told me what size suit I should be just by looking at me. He made alterations quickly and the suit I bought fit fantastic. I walked in, unannounced, a couple weeks later, and he remembered me by name and helped me out. Really impressive customer service and product! This was a MUCH better experience than chain mens wear stores I have purchased suits from in the past - and the suit fits 10x better than those, as well. I will be back!
g b: I tried a dozen places for suits. Styles house has the most options. Many European styles, lots of color, as well as any traditional suit you would look for. All high quality stuff. Fun shirts, ties, etc. Ahmad will take good care and help you find what you need and get it fitting right.

I have bought about 5 suits here and the experience was top notch each time. The only problem I encountered was when a suit pants ripped while my son was doing an extra athletic dance move during his high school junior prom. Except it wasn't that much a problem since I took the pants back and Ahmad had them sewed up and ready to go almost instantly. This is one of those great local businesses that deserve our support.

Keep in mind that his store would be closing in 20 minutes or so.We were treated amazingly and was never pressured into buying anything. Teyana Woods: I love Banana Republic for their products. But tonight I felt very off put by my experience. I asked a very kind salesperson where tan khakis were, he wasn't sure if any were in stock. He proceeded to ask the manager Leslie where they were and if they had any, she looks to me and asks me" what kind of khakis?", I proceed to say, "Tan", she makes a questionable face and says, "No, are you looking for Chino, Sloan, etc." I'm puzzled of course because you're the professional and you should be able to direct me to the right spot in the store, or explain to me the differences. I asked if I could find it online and she said potentially, but it's seasonal. She was absolutely no help, and she should get more training on proper customer service. Thanks a lot Leslie.

Heather Hoffman: My daughter was in the Woodland Mall Banana Republic on 8/4/2017 to purchase a dress for a wedding. The staff at this store on this day were so extremely rude to my adult child that she actually called me to share her experience. What I heard was something that absolutely needs correction from managment. While shopping, more than one of the women who were working looked at my ninteen-year-old daughter up and down then, with snarky tones asked if there was something they could 'help' her with. My daughter works in the customer service industry and could NOT believe the way these employees treated and judged her. She got the impression by their eye rolls and tone of their words that they believed she should not be there. They did NOT want to 'help' her. It was as though she did not match the 'standards' of who they believe should be shopping in that store. She was extremely disappointed in the way these two women behaved and after she shared her experience with me, I felt compelled to share as well. Someone in management needs to look into who worked this day and help these employees work towards creating a customer service style that fosters kindness and a non-judgmental tone. My daughter works extremely hard and had plenty of money to spend in your store but after this experience, chose to head somewhere where the employees were kind and helpful....JCREW got her money that day. As a business owner myself, I would want to know how my employees are treating potential customers. I hope changes are made. It will be a LONG time before either of us try this store again.
